Property is located next to Seokchon lake. Very nice area for walking. Also located next to Lotte Tower, where there is plenty of shopping and dining. Also walkable distance to subway lines. There are also many restaurants near the hotel. Stay was comfortable and quiet. Staff were very helpful with all my needs. Room was nice with heated floors. Bathroom was nice as well. Highly recommended.

Great location. Good sized room. Huge bathroom with full bathtub and separate (good water pressure) shower. Bed was a little hard for me but not unusual in Korea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Walkable to loads of restaurants,cafes shops and Lotte Mall and Seokchon lakes.

The Rosana Hotel is the very definition of personal. Personal service, personal care, and personal courtesy.
We suffered an airport luggage fiasco and the staff made calls, coordinated logistics, and our luggage appeared in the lobby within the day of initiated the service.
The breakfast is a fair price for a mix of western and Korean staples, good if you have a family and don’t want to fight a commute to start the day. Pro tip: if you reserve the breakfast before 12pm on the prior day, there’s a 2000 KRW discount.
The room is efficient and a cocoon of quiet to get rested for the travel plans on the next day.
Lastly the response time to address our requests was on par with 5 star resorts.

Great location with great views of the city

We here stayed two nights as it is within walking distance to both Lotte World, and Lotte World Tower. We had a great vuew of the Tower lit up at night, and there are plenty of dining options near by. My only complaints are that the hot water wasn't adequate, and the pillows were extremely flat.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The front desk personnel was extremely nice, kind and helpful and friendly. They all speak english as well. The hotel is near many restaurants, convenience stores and the train station is about a 5 mins walk as well. The room was very clean and it's cleaned daily. There is a small refrigerator in the room for your convenience and they also provide free bottled waters in your room. Truly a wonderful, very pleasant stay! Thank you!

Nice hotel, quiet even with busy street around. Convenient to public transportation; relatively close to subway station about 18 minute walk. KAL limousine bus stop is 15 minutes away. Close to a nice park and Lotte World Mall. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only issue I had was the very firm mattress.

Love this hotel!

I recently spent 16 days in Seoul and selected this hotel based on online reviews as well as because it was close to where a friend lives. Even though I was traveling to other districts almost daily -- Gangnam and Seocho mostly -- it was a great base of operations. I could not have selected a better place to stay. I train taekwondo with native Koreans, so I have managed to learn enough Korean to get by and surprise the locals. That also allowed me to make several new friends in the area, including on the hotel staff. Front desk folks are pretty good with English, which helped considerably, especially when it came to daily banter and (more imporrtant!) joking around. Super friendly guys and ladies. I will definetly stay here again, without question.

Took KAL Limo to Lotte World Jamsil stop. Rosana Boutique Hotel right across the Seokchon Lake. Not many cabs will like to pick up passengers as its too close. However I managed to take one from Lotteworld Hotel, was charged KRW 5000 for the short distance but worthwhile because it was later in the night.
Very happy the rooms were bigger than I thought they would be. I had a comfortable firm king size bed. As it was a corner room there was the extra window. Hotels in Seoul has no aircon only heating system having extra Windows helped as during the cause of day more fresh air can come in. Only to find that when I was not feeling well had to stay indoor whole day the afternoon became slightly unbearable.
Room cleaning only till mid day after which they won't clean them.

it was a great getaway!

Great stay with family vacation for Lotte World visit. 10 mins walk to south gate of the Lotte world. The staff was very kind and peofessional all the time and the room is very clean. The only part that can be fixed is a quality of the bedding, kind of little noisy and the bed was pretty hard which was expectable in Korea. Overall, this is a very nice hotel in this price.

Nice hotel at a good price, close to Lotte World

We are from the USA and did not know the area nor what to fully expect. The location was good. 5 min walk to Lotte World, 10 min to Metro (Jamsil station). Restaurant, we only ate breakfast there which was a buffet and good and not expensive. No pools or other, but weren't looking for one. Lotte 'World' is really something (park, shopping, tower, etc). Never heard of it before. We spent 5 days at the hotel and would recommend to families, couples, business stays, etc. Bed was firmer than we're used to, but other wise the furnishings were ok and the room/hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful (walked us to a local BBQ as she was not confident in her english as we speak no Korean). We'd stay there again, but we might stay closer to or in one of the old villages (we visited Bukchon village area and loved it); depends what you're visiting Seoul for... and it was easy to get all around Seoul via the Metro to see all the sites, which we did.

Stayed 11 nights with husband and adult son. Small, lovely hotel with excellent staff. A large, beautiful park is right across the street as well as a Starbucks. The room was a little tight since we needed a room with 3 beds. Mattresses are on the hard side but feel this is common in Korea. Bottles of water were left in our frig every day which was greatly appreciated. Bathrooms are large with a tub/shower and toilet. Sinks are located out in the main part of the room. Breakfast was a nice buffet located on the second floor and costs $10 extra.

The hotel is located very close to Lotte World amusment park, a 10 minute walk North from the hotel. There is also a nice park surrounding the lake which is very pleasent to walk through. There are also two 24 hour stores right close by, as well as starbucks on the corner.
The hotel staff were extremely nice and accomidating, even helping to translate between Korean and English.
My family and I stayed in a 3 bed layout room, but they didn't have any type of baby cot or crib, which made sleeping with our 1 year old a bit of a challange.
There are many local resturants close by that serve good Korean food. It can be a challange in many of the resturants as many do not have English menus, employes don't know English, and there are very few (if any) pictures on the menues.

Basic breakfast is available at extra cost. You may be better off going to one of the coffee shops around the corner instead.

Afforable hotel near Jamsil

We stayed for 1 night before our transit to go to the ski resort and as we need to take the ski bus the next morning near Jamsil (lotte mart), Rosana Boutique Hotel
was the one of the best and afforable hotel. The hotel room was clean and about 10 min walk to Lotte Mart and Lotte mall. As the weather was very cold in the morning and with the luggage, we took a taxi to Lotte Mart the next day. It was very near (3 mins drive ) and the taxi fare was only 3,000 won.

So amazed to stay in this hotel.

It is very nice, new and clean hotel. Only downside is that it is located a little bit far away from the subway. Excellent walking along the lake is an amazing part of this hotel, which is very rare in Seoul. Good exercise for walking to the subway or you can take a bus, only 1-2 stops. And Hotel front desk calls a taxi for you if you need or ask for... Better than 5 star overpriced hotel in Seoul....

Excellent hotel!

This was my second time staying at this hotel and once again I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff were helpful and accommodating, the room was very clean and housekeeping maintained it nice and clean throughout my stay. Daily complimentary water bottles were a nice touch. The location of the hotel was very good too. It's close to public transit (bus to subway line 2 station or Lotte Department store is about 200 meters from the hotel) or you could just take the taxi there, which is a very short ride away and will cost you base fare.

I stayed in a deluxe double room for 5 nights at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well. It's a new hotel, so it looked like they are still working out a few minor details - for instance there was no luggage stand in the room and when I asked for one the staff quickly found me an alternative option. Location of the hotel is great too - just a short walk away from Lotte World. If you don't like to walk, there is a bus in front of the hotel that will take you to the nearest subway station. It comes every 5 minutes so it was very convenient.

Nothing negative to report. We were very comfortable there. One thing to note, though, is that the breakfast buffet was not included in the Expedia price. The buffet was very good, so its worth getting. It is cheaper to buy coupons for the buffet at the front desk than to go there and pay. Don't know why.

WE WERE WELCOMED BY VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE STAFF THAT SPOKE GOOD ENGLISH. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL ORDERING TAXIS AND PROVIDING TRANSLATED DESTINATIONS. WE HAD TWO SEPARATE STAYS (TWO NIGHTS FOLLOWED BY THREE NIGHTS). UPON OUR RETURN FOR THE SECOND STAY WE WERE GREETED LIKE REGULAR CUSTOMERS, FRIENDLY FACES THAT RECOGNIZED US!

I made a good choice

I stayed in a Deluxe Room 1406. Very big bathroom with standard size bathtub. Very clean and they made my bed everyday (sometimes even change my bed sheet). TV is big enough and have many channels. There is an arm-chair and a small round table in my room. 4 electricity plug holes available but I had to bring my own adaptor. Location is at the middle of Jamsil area, which is a high-end residential area. Many famous restaurants around the streets of this hotel. I know because my girlfriend is local Korean. Closest subway station (Lotte Department Store) is 600 metres away on foot, and three stations away by bus 3314. But in Seoul, it is not convenient to traffic on public transport without a credit card, because they use automatic payment. Quiet at night and the lotte world park and the lake is right across the road. Price is very reasonable.

The hotel room is comfortable but the only thing is far from the nearest subway station. You have to walk thru Lotte World and the lake side. If you are someone that looking for good environment i will suggest you to put in consideration and there's plenty of restaurant within 200 metres. However, if you would like to shop around within the hotel area, there's nothing. I will advice to Google translate if you have anything to check with the receptionist. Cause it took me sometime to talk the receptionist even a simple question. Overall is okay, value for money and good environment away from the city. Limousine Buses services is available at the Lotte Hotel.

Totally disappointed with this hotel. Location is @20 minutes away from the nearest metro station. The room is so small, the sink for the bathroom is out side of the bathroom and only have less than 12 inch from the bed. Front desk does not speak english. The layout of the lobby is so cold and staff are un-friendly.

Rosana hotel is new and in very good condition. The room size was adequate with windows that can be opened. The double bed was very firm (typical Korean). Flat screen TV with one (sometimes 2 english TV channels- many Korean channels). The bathroom was Korean style where the shower is only partially enclosed (nice rain shower head also a flexible spray head) so you get water all over the place but that's how they do it. The sink was outside the bathroom and did not have good lighting so very difficult to see yourself in the mirror (hard to style hair and makeup). The hotel does not have a gym but I found a gym across the street on the 6th floor of the building (gym called spo any) which has a daily rate around 5 bucks (hotel should work out a deal with them but currently does not have). Toiletries included shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, comb, shower cap, toner, lotion, soap and body wash. Bathrobes and slippers provided in room. Room had a fridge and two bottles of water daily. Hotel staff was very accommodating and provided extra towels, wine opener and glasses within minutes of request. Also, provide 2 daily Korean instant coffees. Subway is far, about 8 blocks away at Lotte World. Many restaurants, convenience stores and shops near hotel. Nice little Miller Time bar and also a Cheers bar within 2 blocks. All you can eat Korean BBQ 1.5 blocks. Keep hotel phone number handy, cab drivers don't know and have trouble finding, I had to call & hand phone to driver

Fairly new hotel with furnitures fairly new. Nearest subway ( Jamsil ) is about 600 meters away from hotel. A cab ride to the hotel is about 2600 Korean Won. . If u want to walk 1.2km everyday in addition to walking around Seoul this is a resonable price hotel. Be prepared to walk about 8km to 12km every day.Buffet breakfast was so..so.( croissant or bread -with jam /butter , 2 types of fruit , korean fried rice (oily) , Milk , choice of 2 juice , Cofee/Tea , and Cereals with Milk, Sausages and french fries and salad ) and scrabble eggs. . It cost about 16,000 Korean Won per person. if you eat out the price you pay can feed 2 persons. The rooms are not vacuum and toilet floors are not clean every day. They just replace the towels and make the beds and clear the waste bins. Double Bedded rooms does not have a closet . Only a hanging rack beside your bed to hang your clothes. Room is fairly small.

I stay 9 days at this hotel. The first 5 days was in Room 903 - a double single bedded room. The toilet in this room emits a a strong sewer like odor EVERY night. In order to get rid of this smell you need to turn the ventilation fan on throughout the night and closed the toilet door. I also stay in Room 707 - a double bedded room for the remaining 4 nights. This room does not have a closet for you to hang your clothes. You are provided only with a hanging wooden rack beside your bed to hang your clothes. The cleaners for this room do not vacuum the carpet neither do they clean the toilet floors every day. They just replace the towels , soap and make the beds. The hotel is located about 600 meters from the nearest Jamsil subway. It cost 2600 Korean Won to take cab from the hotel to the nearest Jamsil subway. There is a very nice exercise and walking /jogging park around the lake just across the road from this hotel. Very good location for a morning or evening jog /walk for health freaks. Within the area there are a number of Korean \" restaurants\" within 100 meters

The Hotel seemed brand new, clean and tidy and functioned well. The beds were as hard as a rock. Unfortunately for the Hotel, the design of the bathrooms were faulty in that they had a glass sliding door which allowed all of the noise from the bathroom to escape into the bedroom. Also the toilet/bathroom had no sink which was located in the bedroom. I found the bathrooms setup odd.

The hotel room is spacious enough and the room is in new condition as I believe this is a rather newly established hotel. The location is however far from the city needs to take can around 20-30minutes. It is located near lotte world where kids will love the nearby theme parks and Kidzania too is nearby too. Overall quite satisfied with the hotel.

The staff goes out of their way to cater to your everyneed. The hotel is very clean and the rooms have plenty of space. Everything was modern and comfortable. One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. If i find myself needing to stay in the Jamsil area again I will come back to this hotel.

シャルロッテ劇場に行くために４泊で利用しました。少し離れていますが徒歩５分程です。
前の通りに飲食店があり26時頃まで開いているので観劇後にも利用できます。コンビニも近くに3軒ありました。
スタッフはとても親切で、フロントに常駐していて質問出来るので安心です。
部屋は清潔で床暖房があり、靴を脱いで上がるのでくつろげるし、寒い季節も暖かくエアコンで乾燥しすぎず利用できます。
設備が古いのか上下水の音が時々します。
日本人にもおすすめできる清潔で安心できるホテルです。

객실 굉장히 깨끗하고. 청소상태 좋습니다.
식당이 아주 마음에 들었는데, 어머님들 손맛이 좋아서 식사가 든든했어요. 조식 강추입니다. 뭐 많진 않아도. 먹을꺼 충분하고 외려 안먹는거 손안가는거만 잔뜩있는것보다 좋더라구요.
다음에 다시 이용예정입니다.

フロントスタッフの方がとても親切。
国内旅行に出掛けてソウルに戻ってきて再チェックインした時、部屋番号が誕生日と同じでした。偶然？それとも初回チェックイン時に提示したパスポートに基づくサービス？気分よく過ごしました。

침구에 머리카락이 떨어져 있습니다.
침구 교체를 매일 안한다는거죠.
다행히 챙겨간 침구 스프레이 뿌리고 잠을 청했네요.

外観、フロントは古い感じがするが、部屋はとても綺麗で広くて快適に過ごすことができた。スタッフもとても親切。地下鉄の駅までも徒歩5分程で、周りに食事ができるところもたくさんある。機会があればまた宿泊したい。

청소 상태 외에 편안했어요.

먼지나 머리카락이 없도록 청소 상태를 깨끗하게 해주시길 사전에 요청드렸어요. 근데 이불을 덮고자 할 때 이불 아랫부분에 얼룩이 크게 있어 이불을 교체하지 않은 느낌이 들어 불쾌감이 좀 있었습니다. 하지만 이에 대한 컴플레인을 했을 경우 바로 이불 교체해주셨고, 사과의 의미로 다음날 조식 쿠폰을 주셨어요. 앞으로는 좀 더 세심하게 신경써주셨으면 좋겠습니다.
