Our stay at Hotel in 9 was fantastic! The location couldn’t be more convenient — Starbucks is right next door, and COEX Mall is within easy walking distance. The staff were outstanding, friendly, and spoke English very well, which made everything smooth and comfortable.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and just the right size for two people. The beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt peaceful after long days out exploring Seoul.

Would absolutely stay here again — great service, great location, and great value for the area. Highly recommend!

The location is absolutely everything- as the hotel is right beside metro & CoEx mall. The hotel itself is kind of unassuming, but very clean and room layout is quite cozy. They also have an adorable rooftop area which all guests can access. The staff is friendly enough, and everyone I interacted with was able to communicate in English. Highly recommend!

I recently booked a Junior Suite Family Twin room at your hotel through Expedia. According to the room description, it was advertised as featuring one king bed and one large twin bed, with capacity for up to three guests. However, upon arrival, the king bed was more akin to a double bed rather than a true king size, and the “large twin bed” appeared to be a standard single bed.
As a result, despite the stated capacity for three people, my party of three was charged an additional 99,000 KRW for the extra occupant. I have been a loyal Expedia customer for many years, and this was my first disappointing experience, primarily because the accommodations did not match the expectations set by the description—particularly the bed sizes.
To better serve your guests, I kindly suggest updating the room description to accurately reflect the actual bed dimensions if a true king bed is not available. Also, clearly mention that if 3 people occupied the room extra cost will applies. This would help manage expectations and avoid similar issues in the future. I would have been willing to pay more for a room that fully met my needs.

Perfect for me!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment I arrived, making check-in quick and stress-free. The facilities were excellent, and my room was spotless with everything I needed. The bed was unbelievably soft and comfortable – I slept better than I have in any other hotels in Seoul!

It’s a perfect choice for solo travellers or anyone looking for a city getaway, with great transport links just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area. I’d happily stay here again.

Very comfortable room -- the bed and the pillows -- I don't think I have ever slept in a more comfortable room. Loved the view of Seoul from my window. The breakfast was delicious and the views were spectacular - from 3 sides. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the days they called a taxi for me. Very convenient to the Coex convention center (where I had meetings) I would definitely stay here again

This hotel is close to the main street, it is very noisy at night time and early morning. We were shocked to find out there are lots dirty stains inside our comfort cover. It seems the house keeper didn't change bedding sheet and cover for new guests. When we complained it to front desk, they just simply replaced a new comfort to us and couldn't do anything more. This hotel is not qualify for 4 stars at all. They cheat.

Location was good but that's about it. Room was not properly cleaned after the last person stayed in it. There were still double sided tapes on the curtains, tape on the walls, and a deflated glow in the dark balloon on the ceiling. The last time I stayed here which was only about 2 to 3 months ago, amenities were provided and there was a good breakfast. This time amenities were chargable and the breakfast selection was much reduced. I ended up having breakfast at starbucks in the next building everyday. Service was bare minimum. I asked for additional pillows but were told that there were no pillows available.

If you want to visit this area this would be a perfect option. If you want to go north you have to take the matro for sure, however the station is so close. Same thing from and thw ICN airport, the metro become the best way in our option (family with a 5yo)

It was a very average hotel for a hotel in gangnam. Really weird that we were going to get changed just for asking for water. It didn’t feel like a 4 star, it felt like 3 star. The reception area is very scruffy looking and messy. Toiletries and other amenities were chargeable and for sale downstairs. The breakfast was extremely expensive. Wouldn’t recommend

The location was good, a few steps away from Bongeunsa exit 3. There is also a bus stop right outside. Its a short walk to coex mall through the station.

The room itself is a little small. I didn't realise the sink is outside the toilet which i don't fancy to be honest. Toilet has japanese style bidet which was nice.

I find it odd they dont provide a kettle but gave tea bags. Not sure how to boil the water for the tea. There was a nespresso machine which i didnt use.

No amenities given for eco friendliness. There were essentials like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, body lotion, room slippers and hair dryer. Towels were slighly frayed which felt cheap for a 4 star hotel. No full length mirror so it was difficult to check fit.

Overall, it was not great but not bad. Was ok for a short stay.

I chose this hotel mainly because of its location. As I went to J-Hope’s concert at KSPO Dome, it only took ~15 minutes to travel from Bongeunsa station to Olympic Park station. Besides, Starfield COEX Mall is nearby, so shopping and dining is very convenient.

Excellent location for Gangnam and for the price but the room felt cramped. Paid for a corner window but huge concrete building next door ruined half the view. Breakfast was sub-par for the price. Take the cheapest room and skip breakfast if you like the location (again, very good).

Th standard double room was perfect for my stay. The bed was super comfortable. Loved the down pillows. The shower pressure was great. Felt very safe here traveling alone. The Starfield Mall is right across the street so lots to do and see. There is a grocery store right on the side street of the hotel. I didn’t see it until my last night. Also, they have a nice washer and dryer. Rooftop was cute.

Hotel is located very centrally in Gangnam district, with 4 min walk to the CoEx mall and shopping centre. Transport links are excellent as buses and metro are right outside this hotel

The hotel itself was not what you would call a 4 star hotel experience. The room was small, it had grey cement wall on one side which seemed like a leftover work or poor designing, the AC was too noisy when it turned on, water would stand outside the shower cubicle and needed to be mopped every time. The smell was not great either. It was an okay stay, may be a 3 star experience where you just go to sleep and do not care about most other things. The things that were nice was 24 hour reception, decent breakfast at the high floor with decent views and the small pool area.

Unfortunately we got in super early, we landed at 5am, and by the time we got our luggage and taxi over, it was 9am, we were exhausted and was hoping to let in early as we’ve had experienced that in the past with marrriots, Hilton and ihg hotels. The front desk said check in at 3pm and wouldn’t budge. If we wanted to pay an extra 250 to check in early, we could.

I did.

The beds were very comfy!! I slept amazing. Spacious bathroom with seperated shower and tub. The room itself was a tad small.

Hit/miss with front staff. Some were really nice.

I wouldn’t have classified this hotel as 4 stars.. it was a disappointment. Also just next to a metro station and near restaurants.

I stayed in Seoul to attend a trade show at CoEx This was a convenient location. A quick walk to the main entrance. Plenty of restaurants available in the Starfield Mall and surrounding areas. Breakfast at the hotel was adequate and convenient. Staff was helpful. Room was clean. Rooms are somewhat small but the bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Will definitely consider staying again if I return for the trade show next year.
