I have stayed at this hotel 4 times and it never disappoints. The breakfast buffet was great value for money especially in a city that rises late. They even had soy milk for coffee, hard to find in Seoul outside of Starbucks. My bed was so comfortable and I love that you can control the room temperature. I can't wait to go back. Thank you.

Good location to bus stop, train station. Can get a bit noisy if you get a room facing the street at night. Room was clean and bed was fairly comfortable, no complaints. Very friendly and hard working house keeping.

Great place, the room was a little dirty once we checked in. The room is super small compared to other hotels I tried in Seoul. I paid for the continental American breakfast, and the options were very poor. Only eggs, no ham or cheese. Other options were asians so no American breakfast at all. The elevator was super slow and made all kinds of noises. Other than that the bed was super comfy and the location was awesome. A lot of thing within a walking distance. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The hotel exterior and lobby were better than the room. The staff were not that welcoming. I felt pretty impersonal. The room felt a bit dated and dark. I paid more for the river view, but it was not open, and the river was only seen between the apartments. Breakfast was the best part. There are pretty many selections. It's good to have it until 11 am on the weekend.

I've been coming to this hotel for already many years whenever I had business trips to South Korea, but this time I was quite upset with the concierge service.
I had a problem with my US business card so I had to call citibank since sometimes they block it while I travel abroad so I asked the concierge to wait for the extra charges for my dog (They charge 36600 won per night for a dog stay, which is not indicated on the website)when I paid for the roomstay. I had to book this hotel for several separate reservations since the booking system does not allow a consecutive reservation (which was another very inconvenient matter), so I had to check out on Dec 27, and check in again on the same day for another two days. I asked the guy at the concierge to wait for the dog stay charge until my US card comes clear in the evening but he gave me a very hard time making me repeat myself over and over. It was extremely unpleasant. His reason was everything had to be paid at the checking out since I made the reservation through expedia so they have to process each reservation separately but I was checking right IN, and only was asking for him to wait to charge dog stay until I clear the issue with US citibank, whilst I already paid for the previous stay AND the guarantee for the check in! I've been a loyal customer for this hotel, and the guy at the concierge had no understanding at all YET he insinuated his points. Is this how they treat their long-term customers? I was in Seoul 3 weeks prior in Hongdae, and while I enjoyed my stay there, the Aloft Seoul Gangnam hotel was like a breath of fresh air so to speak and made my last 2 weeks enjoyable and comfortable. The front desk staff was really nice and helpful, and since I unfortunately dont know much Korean, their proficiency in English was extremely helpful and appreciated (I understand how difficult it is to learn a new language other than your native one, so regardless of proficiency, I am grateful)
The rooms were clean, the shower was set up in a way that I'm more used to in the USA, the cleaning staff were very nice and did a great job, overall loved the hotel. If they have a good rate and you need to come to this area of Seoul, I strongly recommend them.

It is located in the very end of Chungdam dong which kinda makes it less crowded & there is a bridge that crosses the Han river if you need to get out of Gang nam. And it is more like business hotel so you do not need to worry about the weekend drunk guests at this hotel. I would say it is more like the courtyard by Marriott but little bit more hip. And there are lots of 24 hour stores near by plus the subway station is 5-10 mins walk from the hotel.

The hotel was excellent, with very helpful staff. Definitely more services than I am used to in most hotels. They even have laundry machines u can use which was a saving grace because who wants to carry around dirty laundry in their luggage. The location was very convenient. Not far from a bus and subway and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Seoul.

In general, I guess you get what you pay for but the cleanliness part I think should definitely improve.
