I stayed in Aiden by Western Cheongdam for 11 days from April till May 2025. The location is average with limited dining options and activities in the surroundings, as is in between Sinsa-dong and Apgugeong. Basic customer service that leaves no impression, do not expect anything warm or exceptional. Paid money for late check out request charging me 11,000 per hour. I am fine to pay, just saying I have been to Seoul many times in one year and stay in many hotels. First time I encounter I have to pay for this request. Otherwise, is a clean and decent hotel.

All of the staff were lovely and welcoming. I had an event to go to, had gotten ready and already left and was worried I left my flat iron on but couldn’t go back to check so I quickly messaged the hotel to ask if they could check (with apologies attached) and they responded and took care of it right away and put my mind at ease. They accommodated my weird schedule with cleaning my room as well. If I need to stay in the area again, I will be using them for sure.

Flew in from Texas for a week long trip to see all the sights. Check in was super quick and they speak English/very kind. No deposit required. Moment I get into the room was impressed. Room was equipped with harness to rappel down out of the window in the event of a fire. Felt like Batman. Pretty cool. Bed is comfy and the hotel wifi is free, fast and reliable. There is a button if you want your room cleaned or not. You get two complementary water bottles each day. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10am and cost $14. Buffet style and everything was tasty and filling. Breakfast spot is lounge area with art pieces. Pretty neat display. There are two bus stations right in front of the hotel. Access to the limousine bus 6703 to the airport for $13. There is a couple of convenient stores a few blocks down along with KFC, Subway and McDonald if you’re craving that. Ate that the first day then ventured out to try the local Korean food. Only two English channels. BBC News and Australian News. Universal/usb outlets. Great for laptop/airpods/gopro charging. All in all great experience/hotel! Good price and comfy stay. Would definitely recommend!

The room was extremely small. We could even hardly open our suit case. They usually offer a big discount. It was their main trick. That was the only reason I booked this hotel. It was a typical sales gimmick.

Room is small good and ideal for single occupancy and not for double occupancy. Stayed for 8 days in 2 different rooms. The second room I moved into had mosquitoes. Didn’t really get to rest well in the second room due to the mosquitoes.

Loved the location! Bus stops right in front and across the street.
Great view of the street below from room window. Room was spacious, and the sliding door separating the bed and bathroom area was a great gesture, allowing more privacy and reduce noise and light during night time.

This hotel looks nice and modern in the photos, but it has lots of flaws - no potable water in the room (even for the Nespresso machines), no shelves/drawers/dressers so you can unpack your suitcase, no view from the back side of the hotel, which has a metal mesh grate across the entire back of the building, no hot tub (as advertised), and it is a 10-15 minute walk to any of the 3 closest subway stations.

Nice but also disappointing

The hotel is nice and the room (while small) is clean, has good amenities, and a great view of the city. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was to enjoy the rooftop bar, so I was very disappointed to find that the bar was booked for a private function for the entire night. They did not let any hotel guests inside. Also, the website says the lounge is open all day for food and drink, but when we showed up at 10:30am for brunch they said they were only doing breakfast service and were closed. It's a shame we were only able to enjoy our room and no other facilities in the hotel.

Not recommended:. Hard beds and overflowing shower

The staff was friendly and helpful. The main issues were with the shower and bed. The shower was a \"no lip\" shower, so water would get on the outside floor every time. Then three times we had issues with water backing up or becoming standing water in the shower. As there was no lip to contain it, it flooded the rooms entire tile floors, which we ended up trying to clean ourselves. We learned to watch for it, and would pull up the drain to mitigate the water spread, but over the week there, this happened three times.

The bed. Worst bed I have ever slept on and I am requiring chiropractor adjustments just so I can get around again. I will equate it to feeling like you're sleeping on the box spring, and not the mattress. However, even a box spring has a little give. Our bed did not. We suffered through seven days of horrible sleep and back pain due to the bed.

This hotel might draw you in with the price, but it's not worth anything. The housekeeping is absymal and couldn't once get it right, leaving used cups out for days, forgetting to refill water and the shower needed a good clean. On top of this, the desk staff are needlessly bureaucratic and discriminatory. Even though the room was ready, they tried to charge for even an hour's early check-in, whereas I witnessed them the following day allowing others to have an early check-in at no extra cost. The breakfast is also incredibly overpriced given how lacklustre it is. And the final main flaw is that the windows are extremely low quality, meaning you'll hear all the traffic. Given that the hotel is opposite 8 lanes which have super cars racing up and down at 2am, even earplugs aren't enough.

The hotel really isn't fit for purpose.

For the price, this hotel is excellent. There are convenience stores (GS25 and 7-11) within a 5 minute walk from the hotel as well as restaurants. Valet parking was fast and easy. Hotel was quiet and room was as expected for 3.5 stars.

Very clean, super friendly staff. They got everything we needed deliver to our door. Very secure building. The only thing might be limited food service. But hey if you’re in Seoul, you shouldn’t stay in and eat in your hotel anyways. Location is pretty good. You do need to walk about two or three blocks to get to commercial area we enjoyed the walk. Cab is cheap too if it gets too much walking for you. Overall excellent experience.

Overall it is a clean modern hotel however this property lacks basic amenities and customer service. I asked for extra pillows over the front desk one evening and they \"didn't have any\"... I also requested for a fork and a bowl at the restaurant to take to my room and they also \"would not allow that.\" I will be finding another hotel the next time I return to Seoul.

This property is located in such a great area, plus the staff and the accommodations are truly great! There is a bus stop right in front and a subway station around 4 or 5 blocks in every direction for different subway lines.
The people at the front desk and house keeping really went out of their way to help with small little things I asked (I needed chopsticks for some ramen I bought, or a steamer for my wrinkled clothes, etc.)
Plus, the pillows and sheets were super comfy, all feather I believe :)

Very convenient to two subway stations, Apgujeong and Sinsa; about a 10+ minute walk to either of them that will take you to all the major shopping areas, national museum, and other destinations in Seoul. Lot's of restaurants on the interior roads and back streets, including those directly behind the hotel. Fun to just wander around the nearby area.

This is a fairly new hotel with a great restaurant and gym.
We had a room facing the street in front of the hotel on the 17th floor and at night it can get very noisy from loud cars. Other than small rooms this is a very nice hotel with helpful staff.

Very Satisfying stay, highly recommended

It was very good hotel, overall comfortable mattress and bathroom amenities are goo, rain shower head, about 10 minute walking distance to shopping area. I complained about smell in bathroom and the staff took care of it right away. Since it’s fairly new hotel in GangNam area, some taxi drivers don’t know, then just let the drivers know the address.

Nice Hotel, but its not convenient for walking. The nearest metro station is about 10 minutes away. The roads are wide and pedestrians spend a long time waiting to cross the busy intersection.
The property itself is new and clean, but I wouldn't stay here again due to the walking issues.

Can't even pick up a guest in front of the hotel

Doesn't even have a pick up and drop zone for hotel guests. Got a parking ticket for parking in front of the hotel while checking out of the hotel. The parking lot was blocked by their own orange cones which made us park on the curb and get ticketed. Absolutely no signage outside that says \"don't park outside of the cones or the curb.\" Hotel is making money with the city with parking tickets.

Nice, fairly new hotel in Gangnam. I really have to talk about the bar on the top floor-it’s amazing, but VERY expensive and very high-end. The room itself was clean and modern, had toiletries. It’s about a ten minute walk from Sinsa station, so that’s cool. Good staff and service.

スーツケースの重さも測ることを，手伝ってくれたので安心して買い物できました。

徒歩圏内にコンビニ、カフェ、チキン、お粥のお店もあって便利でした。
