The Hotel was amazing , we enjoyed the decor and furniture and cute antique china ! However the breakfast buffet and dinner buffets were super expensive. Also the a/c in our room did not work well, it was 28-29 at night in the room , finally on the last night of our 10 nights stay we asked if they can give us another room just to sleep , they gave us the room but unfortunately it was only one large bed, me and our 8 years old daughter went to sleep there while my husband remained in our old room and suffered , they gave us a portable a/c that was smelly . They complimented us for one last breakfast, it was nice. Location of the Hotel was not great, we had to take metro everywhere we went . Also the outdoor pool was closed till June 19th they said , but on June 19th they told us they will open it in July . We stayed there June 10-20th. That was very disappointing, they have to maintain the pool anyway - why not to let guests to swim there , it should be up to the guests to use the pool or not .

Enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was beyond great, and very kind. The King room looked just like the pictures. My only complaint is the specific room I was in felt like that room hadn’t been used in a while. It smelled a bit stuffy or old. The bathroom sink also had a little mold and some kind of tiny white bugs coming out of the back part. With it being a luxury property, I was a little surprised by this, but every property has its moments. Hopefully next time I visit the room accommodation will different.

Overall though, the room was HUGE with the king size bed; great location; great staff; city and airport bus stop right in front of the property. I will be back to Seoul soon, and will definitely be back to this property. They made me feel very welcomed🤗

The buffet breakfast caters for western, Korean, Chinese and Japanese palates and is high quality. The high tea is a fun experience in grand English antique surrrounds. Pool looks like it could use an upgrade. Single sex hot baths an unexpected bonus. Overall a luxurious stay in a convenient location.

Great food, helpful attentive staff, GORGEOUS hotel! The beds were so comfy and I always had a nice view. I really enjoyed my conversations with everyone there. I have stayed all over the world, and this was my favorite stay yet. I love the marble and every direction you look is a feast for the eyes, with a gorgeous French aesthetic that made me feel like the president of Korea :) The breakfast buffet is pricey, but none of the food comes from depressing giant bags - you can taste that it's all made there, and made well. The chefs and servers were a delight, the coffee was perfectly brewed. 10/10 stay. I will absolutely be back again!

What a disappointment. This hotel is all pretty wrapping, with no substance: (1) Room was 84° and AC not operational, no fans, could not sleep; (2) Food & drink choices very limited; (3) staff could not answer questions (not a language issue, they were inexperienced & lacked knowledge); (4) asked repeatedly for face cloths & never received( 5) bar pitch black and playing horrible, loud rap music. Very unique interior. We stayed in one of their corner suites. The bath tub leaked although we didn’t use it. Other than that, the room was beautiful and staffs were very friendly and polite. San (forgive me if I got his name wrong. He has British accent) at the concierge desk was amazing. He answered my questions in details and made excellent recommendations. We will definitely stay here again. Lobby cafe has brunch available from 11am. Their breakfast buffet is good too.

Very nice property and a pretty good deal if you can get a promotional price. We paid around $200 per night thru hotels.com and felt it was well worth it. The location is a little out of the way, which we preferred as it was much quieter at night. It was still central enough to walk to subways and easy to grab taxis. There are some fine options for food and drinks within walking distance, but it’s worth venturing out more as transport is not expensive. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, especially the valet / bellmen. We had no issues with noise (but we did request a quiet room, so you can do that for good measure).

Clean room, comfortable bed, lots of storage space for luggage and to hand up clothes. Concierge staff was great. When we first checked in, we smelled cigarette smoke in our room. We tried airing it out for a few hours while we went out. When we got back, the room still smelled. This was supposed to be a non smoking room. We called the front desk and they sent someone to come and smell our room. The man who came into our room said he couldn’t smell anything and told us he couldn’t do anything and told us to call the front desk. They sent a staff from the concierge staff he came in and said the room smelled so bad and apologized. He said the hotel is known for people smoking in rooms. He moved us into another room. The hotel did provide any comps for the inconvenience, except for the offer of a late check out which we did not take. The room was comfortable, but we prepared for the bathroom. There was a shower room in which the door did not close all the way and was not sealed well, the hand shower head faced the door so water went out on the bathroom floor. We spent each night drying the floor after showering. We had the coffee and the strawberry tea set. The coffee was very bland, and the tea set looked very pretty but the taste was so so.

Our room was cleaned each day... the staff did a wonderful job. They also left us an extra bottle of water/coffee pods each day... We loved the room we booked with the kitchen amenities . We make noodles we purchased at a local store and boiled eggs. We also like how theres a separate living area/ bedroom. I had to work from 11pm- 2am each day due to the time difference which didn't disturb my familr.

Stayed for a week in a serviced apartment, which was beautiful, clean and spacious. Many of the staff spoke excellent English, which was very helpful. Food was all lovely, room service food was hot, delicious and well presented, and breakfast was honestly the nicest I’ve had in any hotel. The concierge, Chris was extremely helpful before we arrived, arranging transport and so on, and lovely whilst we were there. Hotel is extremely well located. Arranged a late check out for us without issue. Cannot fault it in any way and will definitely stay again when we return to South Korea.

The best hotel in Gangnam area ! Very luxurious with beautiful antiques decor in the lobby from 19 & 20 centuries. The residential bedroom is spacious, clean and has everything what you need for longer stay like electric stove , refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and The most important washer/dryer machine. Great amenities.
Breakfast buffet is very delicious with a lot of variety of Korean food , eggs, soups, bakery , juices etc.
it’s my first visit to Seoul and I’m happy with my choice!

As a frequent Travelers I will place this hotel at the top of my recommendation it was the highlight of my trip to Asia which included the Tokyo Macau and Seoul. The hotel is luxurious great location beautiful to say the least but also the staff including the concierge the front area manager the front desk were awesome people highly professional courteous polite and very Hospital. I even made to few networks working with the beautiful polite professional concierge Rose Lee and connected her with the Tampa Bay Area concierge Association at my home City Tampa Bay Florida. I'll give this hotel five stars all day long and I highly recommend it

I had such an amazing stay at the Imperial Palace! The staff were genuinely the sweetest I’ve ever encountered, from the reception team to the cleaners. The concierge team was very helpful, friendly, kind, understanding and spoke English. The door men and valets were friendly and helpful even though they didn’t speak englishThe front desk staff was nice, Some spoke English. The room cleaning staff was very disappointing and was not thorough or detailed. There was dust and dirt on the the glass shelves in the bathroom as well as the baseboard below the sink counter, in the cabinet next to the the mini fridge. A veriy thick layer. The desk, table and night stand surfaces. I was in the room and the desk and table was not wiped at all and we eat there. Inside the closet and drawers were dusty. Big clump of our long hair from the shower was left in the toilet area. We had to bring it up to the front desk and to the concierge. We had to regularly request for toilet paper as it was not replaced each day. Also we had to request for fresh bathrobes as they were not necessarily replaced. I came back to the room and saw the maid watching tv and then vacuumed part of the room like a S and not the whole room. We clean ed the dust and wiped the surfaces ourselves.

The hotel staff very helpful, the hotel lobby glamours, but the room temperature can’t set below 23.5c, very warm make me sweat. The hotel response to AC concern by citing government standard for saving energy, not sure if that’s true. The room sometimes smell sewerage. I stay for 7 nights and asked to change room on 3rd day, but get reply straight away that’s not possible.
In my opinion, this hotel maybe good for people on business account who do not give a damn what they pay for, but not personal traveller/holidays maker who count every dollars spent.

The space is newly renovated, so many thoughtful touches. We love having the LG styler as well as a washer/dryer. The gym is large and the wet/dry sauna on-site are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!

beautiful decor, blasting A/C with up to date tech remotes n controls. Loved how friendly n polite the whole staff was from maintenance to front concierge. Their breakfast was one of the best I've had so far, n I'm comparing to Europe which I just visited days before I checked into this hotel. everywhere is walkable, ez parking for ur guests, spacious drive way for taxi loading ur luggage-doormen (yes, not one but 2) are always present helping u. Loved the stay.

This is my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The staff was incredibly kind, the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I was initially unsure if the breakfast would be worth the price, but it definitely was! Gorgeous display, a huge variety of choices and different types of cuisines (Korean, American, Chinese, French…) I would definitely stay here again!

I was informed upon check-in that nearly every amenity (gym, pool, etc) was closed. The lobby feels “grand,” but the rooms will look and feel outmoded to anyone who has stayed in a hotel since 1990. The rooms feel especially old-fashioned. Water dripped from the ceiling of my room, leaving a wet spot on the carpet below. Good breakfast.

The service was impeccable, the room was both elegant and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Gangnam. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and warm hospitality throughout my visit. I would love to return someday

the hotel was very clean (except on the men’s toilet in the lobby when used 1 day (stayed 7 nights).

so many std rules to use the swimming pool that foreigner such as i am not aware of.

surprisingly, beyond the desk agents and bellmen, english was practically not usable on my encounters.
