The property is great, 10mins walk to the nearest train/subway station. Room was cozy and clean. To note they don’t have microwave in the room. Also the hotel does not have self-service laundry, but there is a coin laundry shop just 5mins walk away.

(A) Best Western web page for hotel says “Late check out until 1:00 p.m. free.” But I was charged KRW 20,000 (about USD $13) for checking out at 1:00. (B) the room had cards saying “go green with Best Western.” But I hung a “do not disturb” sign on the door, and during the day the hotel staff left a laundry bag full of clean towels next to the door. How is that in the best interest of the environment?

average to good. staffs were courteous but the room and especially the bathroom could have been a little more spotless. the first few days were ok, but i kind of smelled not pleasant after few days of staying. we stayed for 21 days and i think they should do really good (or deep) cleaning after every 3 days.

The location was good. But, the hotel was great. I would recommend it for the Gangnam area and it was a great price. I had to walk to go to the fancy area but I enjoyed that. There is a ton of dining options in the alleyways around the hotel too.

THE WANDERING, WONDERING DUO

THE LOCATION WAS FANTASTIC, EXCEPT FOR THE AIRPORT LIMOUSINE BUS SERVICE WHICH STOPPED ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE HOTEL AND WAS DIFFICULT TO CROSS OVER. THE ROOM( JR. SUITE) WAS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR LUGGAGE AND 2 SEPARATE ROOMS. Initially, OUR CHECK IN WAS SMOOTH, BUT HAD A LITTLE DIFFICULTY with one employee's attitude that was not very professional. Overall, the service was very good and the manager was a delight to speak with and assisted us in fulfilling most of our requests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, when spending time in Seoul; easy access to buses and subway system. Restaurants are close by, but would recommend venturing out into Seoul's excellent cuisine culture. Of course there are coffee shops and convenience stores close by; after all it is Seoul; they're everywhere.

property was well situated and generally clean especially for the price. some things did not work too well and occasionally would have problems that would require fixing, such as the toilets. staff was hit or miss, mostly good experiences but there was one incident with someone who was very rude, but i guess that’s an experience in itself since it’s not everyday you get yelled at by hotel staff

Stayed here for two nights. Overall it is a not bad hotel. The deco definitely needs an upgrade. The sensor light in the room kept going off which wasn’t ideal. The room was a little dark even with the curtains pulled wide and open. The temperature in the room was set and it was quite hot. Room and bathroom are clean, just a little small for two people with two medium size luggage (traveling with a friend). Location is not bad for food and subway. It’s an affordable hotel chain in Gangnam.

Location (and price at the time) helps with this particular hotel and helps push it above average. When making our way to the room, my wife remarked, \"This is an older hotel building\". That being said, it appears that it has been kept up well and/or renovated at some point. Room was decent, bed was firm, water pressure in the tub/shower adequate but not very strong, and a little bit of mold showed on the bottom of the shower curtain. There is no cafe on the premises, but there is a breakfast buffet that was priced around 27,000 won per person - the price was enough for us to opt not to investigate it further and consider other options. Parking was free and no issues. Not far from a couple of subway stops as well as good food and entertainment options.

The hotel proximity to dining, transportation is excellent. Night life is also walking distance, even if you are hungry at 1am there’re restaurants available nearby. Metro system is also within 3 minutes of walking. It was our second time staying at this hotel and will continue our future stay in our next visit.

Feeling hot and Aircondition did not runs on. They said it is out of season. Receptionist said we will email you and no one email me. We had canceled one room out of 3 room one day before and they did not cancel the he room. We have to show the email to cancel it but not sure yet if cancel.

The hotel is a little tired, but clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. I have marked this hotel down due to their policy on A/C. During my 3 night stay the temp in Seoul was 23-26c. My room was 26c, which for me makes sleeping difficult. I asked why the A/C was not working to be told its a central system, fine, and they do not switch it on until May!!! As it was April 2nd, this was a problem. They had no solution to my problem. They clearly advertise the hotel as having A/C, which is true, but they should mention that it is only in use 4 maybe 5 months of the year, and if it is warm/hot outside of these months...well tough!

It's another hotel we would probably go back again in Gangnam. The hotel is clean and housekeeping does a fabulous job as the room always looks fresh when you come back to it at the end of the day. They provide toiletries that is enough for our family. Slippers are replaced daily too, which is great. Makes you feel being really looked after. However, staff doesn't speak much English but is really nice and will try to assist especially Grace. She went above and beyond to help me. The downside for this hotel is they don't have laundry facilities even if their amenities include this in the list. They only have dry cleaning but no onsite washing offered so take note of that. However, we found a laundromat about 12 minutes by bus next to a cafe. But location is convenient because its between 2 train station exits (a bit uphill though).

The property seems somewhat dated, but key items were functional. However, it took 2 days for them to change the light bulb, and broken safe was never fixed during my 2.5 week stay. The cleaning staff was very thorough, so the room and the bathroom felt fresh everyday. The area was nice enough and there are plenty of dining options around. The bad part was that I had to walk over 700 meters uphill from the subway station everyday. If I don't come back to this hotel, it's because of that steep climb.

Room meets minimum standard chain requirement. Staffs are nice and helpful. However the location is not ideal. It is in the middle of 2 subway station. Both around 800meters walk uphill and downhill. Barely anything at night time, only a few minimarts.

I was a little disappointed that the air wasn’t working due to the weather that day. Also, two of the lights were not working which was kind of disappointing. However, it’s located in a great area and is easy to get places. The staff was very nice and the room itself was clean.
