Ocloud hotel is not a glitzy hotel with a grand entrance and lobby. Its a smaller hotel located on a side/quieter street right behind Gangnam blvd and another main road. It's on a very convenient spot. Subway stations are around the corner. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants, convenient store and laundromat.

Hotel staffs are nice. Always acknowledge by saying hello to guest when walking by.

House keeper was good. Making sure we got what we needed. Even when we requested \"Do not distribute\" after a night out. They'll left bottle water and necessities at the door.

I'm not sure if this hotel have any room with city views base on the location and the height of the building. We stayed at a king room on a higher floor. Our window was facing the roof top patio of the neighbor building. I think it's still better than facing the wall. So don't expect too much on the views.

One thing they need to pay more attention is the bathroom wall and the glass panels of the shower. There was some stain/marks on it. Other than that the room was decent. I'll stay there again next time I visit.

The rooms are small but spacious enough. One thing travelers need to note is that during the cold seasons (autumn and winter) they turn the AC into a heater. If you want the room to be a cold you need to open the windows. We didn't have an issue with this because the weather in south korea is cold enough to chill the room to our desired temperature. Location is also great with lots of shops nearby.

This was my second stay at this hotel and I was more than happy to be staying there again after a few days in another region. It was reasonably quiet and had good facilities, including fridge, microwave, kettle and sink within one of the cupboards. I felt safe in the surrounding area, which has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants.

The location is excellent; you can get here directly from Incheon Airport by airport bus, and the driver kindly helps with luggage. The hotel exterior looks clean and modern, though the rooms feel a little small.

However, the uphill road makes it difficult if you have heavy bags. The biggest issue was the noise, you can hear TV sounds and conversations, especially late at night. Unfortunately, this really affected the quality of my stay.

The hotel was nothing fancy but it was convenient to transportation. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. I did notice that a majority of the guests were there after having plastic surgery done as there are a lot of medical offices in the area. We were just regular tourists and the subway was right there, so super convenient.

Fantastic location. About 2 mins from a subway station and a few mins walk to the main Gangnam area. The hotel does lack some character as it was very plain. Also some of the rooms including ours did not have any view outside the windows. Staff were great and we had our rooms cleaned every day.

The front staff is great they help you with everything even top your T money or currency exchange, the only \"down\" is that you couldn't use the AC and some nights were a bit hot. Appart from that everything was perfection, also the location it was so easy to go everywhere by public transportation

What else would anyone ask for hotel for this great price except being clean but O'cloud hotel has lot more; nice comfortable spacious bed, extremely clean and close to everything and has a room safe too. Definitely I will come back here for next visit to Gangnam.

No Soundproofing whatsoever

The main purpose of a hotel is to be able to rest and sleep. Regardless of cleanliness, politeness, amenities...if you can't sleep, the hotel has not done it's job.

We stayed 4 nights and were kept awake till well past midnight every night with doors slamming and people talking. And just talking, not even yelling...the walls between the rooms might as well not even have been there, they were that transparent.

We did not contact the front desk as a room move would just get more of the same we believe. Nor are we looking for compensation or apologies from the management as they have to be aware of how bad the construction is. Just wanted to let others know so they are not walking around tired all day like we were.

Here’s a more polished version:

Pros:
•Conveniently located near a subway station, shopping, and dining options.
•Features a small kitchenette, which can be useful for extended stays (though it lacks basic items like bowls and utensils).

Cons:
•Ongoing construction is incredibly loud, making sleep nearly impossible. With the AC turned off for the cooler months, the only option is to open the windows—letting in all the noise. Our room was directly across from the site, and the work often started as early as 4-5 a.m., continuing until 8-10 p.m. One night, there was roadwork (including jackhammering) until 1 a.m.—no exaggeration.
•The front desk staff was uncooperative, making us go through hotels.com just to change rooms. When we finally moved to the other side of the building, we were instead subjected to noise from loud, intoxicated people late into the night (especially on weekends, though weekdays were somewhat quieter).
•Although there is a washer on-site, there is no dryer, so you’ll need to visit a coin laundry about 10 minutes away.
•One front desk staff member was consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, seemingly intent on refusing any requests to make her job easier. However, the other staff members were pleasant.

Conclusion: Avoid staying here.

The hotel staff are amazingly helpful, friendly and very accommodating, especially the tan skin looking gentleman! I forgot to bring my physical visa card and one of the Taxis I took did not take samsung pay/phone tap and I called the Hotel and then the tan skin gentleman / hotel staff paid for my taxi fares which cost him AUD 15, I don't know what would have happened IF he didn't offer to pay!

Good hotel in Gangnam. Excellent staff. Seems like a converted office building so the walls are thin. Our neighbors were no big problem butbif you ended up with loud folks next door and you were sensitive to noise I could see it as an issue. Highlight: Kyobo bookstore is right next door with a decent selection of English books.

My primary concern was parking, but they had space for a large car on the ground level as well as a mechanical parking system. The staff was very friendly. I appreciated the convenient location, close to subways, bus stations, and shopping areas. However, the room could use some updates. The wood floor had gaps, and the desk showed signs of water damage. My overall experence was pretty pleasant.
