Love this hotel. I was originally planning to switch hotel half way just for difference experiences but I cancelled other reservation and stayed here the full 10 days. The service is great, what I like the most is the location, and convenience of having the Coex mall in the same building underground! Made eating and shopping so convenient.

My stay at Oakwood Premier was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, especially if you are visiting Gangnam. Being directly connected to COEX Mall made everything incredibly convenient from shopping and dining to cafés, the aquarium, and the Hyundai Department Store. You truly do not need to go far for anything.

The rooms are spacious, modern, and immaculately clean with stunning city views. Having a washer and dryer in the room was such a luxury and made traveling with family so much easier. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything felt thoughtfully designed for both short and long stays.

The staff was outstanding. Warm, professional, and always willing to help. From check in to concierge support, every interaction felt welcoming and seamless. The breakfast was also excellent with a generous variety of options and high quality food.

The gym, pool, and overall amenities exceeded expectations and felt more like a private residence than a hotel. It was quiet, relaxing, and perfect after long days exploring the city.

Oakwood Premier truly delivers a luxury experience with the comfort of home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul, especially families or anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and a top tier experience in Gangnam.

When I was in need of checking-in a bit early, they tried to accomodate my need and actually they did. They also upgraded my room for free. Staff were rally nice. Top rated. Only thing they could do better is their breakfast. It was just ok.

We stayed in a massive 2 bedroom apartment. Our teens enjoyed the freedom of being connected to a mall in a safe area with lots of shopping and things to eat. Coex has lots to offer and being underground malls, it’s a weather proof stay. Nice, helpful staff- we’d stay again.

Good Hotel, Disappointing Breakfast

The hotel's location is convenient: you can access COEX without exiting the building (good for those awful rainy days in Seoul). The room was huge, with all the amenities one could want. It was quite clean, although a bit outdated. The view from the 15th floor was great. The staff was nice and helpful, especially Summer and Lucas. However, breakfast was a disappointment. Very few vegan options, which aren't clearly indicated. No vegan cheese, butter/margarine, or sweets. Staff wasn't helpful at all and did not really try to help. In an international hotel of this price range, such an attitude toward vegans is quite discouraging. I would love to stay there again, but I would have my breakfasts elsewhere.

Oakwood Premier Coex is at a prime location in Seoul. It connects to the STARFIELD mall and Hyundai department store for ease of access to dining options and shopping. It also is a complex that connects to Samseong station and Bongeunsa subway stations for ease of transportation. An added plus is its proximity to City Airport Terminal where you can get airport shuttles straight to ICN within 90 minutes.

We stayed at the two bedroom superior for two weeks. The room was spacious and had a separate second bedroom for our child which was great. The floor plan is spacious and has its own kitchen and laundry machines to make it great for temporary serviced apartment style living. All that said, we thought the rooms were quite dated, but reasonable for the price point. We did have a case where our first room’s AC unit was leaking, and had to go through the hassle of changing rooms. The room change also took awhile which was annoying. The second room also had to go through some fiddling with the AC unit to make sure the room AC units worked. It looked like the previous tenant chose to shut off the room AC, and the staff was not aware. Lastly we had an incident where the house keeping staff mistakenly took our child’s stuffed animal together with her bed sheets. It was returned after a day. I can’t say that is an experience I’ve had before. I am hoping it’s an unlucky chain of events for us. Overall though the stay was comfortable for us, and was a good home base for our travels.

We booked the 2 -bedroom suite and it was amazing. The staff at the front desk were helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday, trash bin in the kitchen had segregation for recycling, regular trash, and food wastes. We used the kitchen a lot to make ramyeon or heat up left overs and was equipped with a full-sized refrigerator with freezer. My kids love banana milk and iced coffee so we would buy them from the convenience store downstairs and would put them in the fridge so they can have them anytime. The hotel has a passage on the basement level to get to COEX mall. It was super convenient as the girls would just go shopping on their own while I get some work done. Yes, there are 2 huge desk areas in the suite where I can setup my laptop with 2 extended monitors. There were only a couple of regular power outlets while the rest was type E/F plugs so make sure to bring adapters. The suite was also equipped with washer-dryer combo but it took 3 hrs to do 1 load and clothes come out still very damp so you’d still have to hang them; they have a drying rack available as well. And the bidet in the master bathroom had different options to suit your tush, LOL! I wished they had installed one in the guest bathroom also. Also, the shower has a steam room which we’ve used everyday! With all the amenities in out hotel suite, it sure was tough leaving Korea! We will definitely come back to this hotel!

Its just a top notch 5 star hotel. And the staff are phenomenal. I forgot my backpack in a taxi! It had my laptop, passport and wallet. The staff made calls and stayed with me for more than 3 hours until the driver was located and returned the backpack with all contents! The moral compass of South Koreans should never be understated.

It’s more a 4 star than a 5 star, but I would stay again. There were a couple of surprising things at the start - paying $$ for early check in, finding luggage tags on the ceiling, broken sink cabinet, inoperable light, not enough hangers, and unfilled bottles. We had hoped the laundry would work, but it didn’t work for us. We got through a couple of cycles, but the clothes always still smelled. The chairs and sofas were uncomfortable to sit in. Like they had lost all its soul a long time ago. Fortunately, the beds were still okay. I like how each room had its own thermostat as some of us liked it hot and some of us liked it cold. The two bathrooms were critical to us. We didn’t cook, but the plates and silverware were helpful. We wish there were more cups. There were four of everything but the cups. The lack of towels and tissue was a daily problem. The stocking was inconsistent so we had to keep asking for them. Despite all that, I would stay again because of the staff, space, and amenities.

I had a 2 bedroom and absolutely love it..had all the convenience of home with a full kitchen and washer/dryer but the added bonus with a daily cleaning and full hotel amenities. There was plenty of food option and shopping right below the hotel so you would not have to venture outside if it's too cold. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at Oakwood. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was particularly comfortable compared with that of other hotels. A staff member (named “Jun”), who helped us with checking in, was very helpful with a feeling of hospitality. Knowing that we are celebrating a special day, he even upgraded our room, which I am grateful for. It was very satisfactory to stay in this hotel. We are definitely coming back!

Surprised no rain shower and old shower head. housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning shower floor area either. Mat not cleaned nor moved. Waited a bit kong for a personnel with cart to move us. Staff at front desk could speak more English.

Exceptional service. As good as you’ll get at any 5 star hotel. Staff was helpful on everything from booking events, shows and restaurants. Our suite had a large kitchen, laundry machines and living room (great for when you awake at 3am but your family is still sleeping!) The hotel is also connected to the Coex mall so quick access to some of the best shopping and dining. Also connected to two major subway stations along line 2. Also across the street from Restaurant Alley! Amazing selection of bbq, soups, tteokbokki, and Chinese restaurants. Also close to major theatres if you plan on seeing some amazing musicals. The property is getting a little run down and dated but is so clean their gym and pool are wonderful as well. As well, the price point on this hotel is the best for where it’s located in Gangnam and the amenities and services it provides.

I had a terrible experience in this hotel while checking in. I arrived around 3:20 pm with my car and tried to self-park at the parking lot in the basement of the hotel building. However, the parking lot was full (it seems that there were not enough spots in the first place). I called the front desk to ask how I can possibly park my car to check in. They told me to let me know but I received no answer until 4 pm. Finally, I went up to the main gate of the hotel building asking for help with parking but was only told that they would charge me about $20 for the valet parking. It is my first and worst experience that I could not find a parking spot to park my car before checking in. I expressed my complaints about it and the staff member at the reception desk took care of the situation waiving the valet parking expenses while apologizing profusely. Everything in this hotel after checking in was great. However, Oakwood hotel should take some measures to fix the parking lot problem. I don’t think I will be back to this hotel again (never again) as other great hotels (two Intercontinental hotels) are right next to Oakwood.

The staffs is not professional so they don't know all the informations and their service is average. When I ate breakfast 5 times at a restaurant, the staff also brought food to eat. They talked loudly to each other, took foods, and had no manners. It was my first time seeing the hotel staffs ate with the hotel guests at a hotel restaurant. The location is almost perfect for everywhere to go and very convenient. The room is very quiet to stay.
