THE ONLY GOOD THING IN THE HOTEL WAS ADEM, HE HAS BEEN A STAR, THE HOTEL IT SELF IS DIRTY, AFTER A CERTAIN TIME HOUSEKEEPING DO NOT DELIVER TOILET PAPER OR WATER. RECEPTION ARE SUPER RUDE. ROOMS ARE SMALL AND THERE ARE ANTS IN THE BATHROOM WILL NOT RECCOMEND

Hotel has swimming pool, suna, steam room and Gym free to use for guests, I really enjoyed it and all such facilities were open from 7am to 10pm so plenty of time to relax and enjoy all of them. Breakfast was delicious and so many options available. What really impressed me that Hotel management has a programme for special needs people individual to work in different departments, for example there was a special need waiter serving the guests during breakfast time, he was very pleasant and taking pride in his work. Amenities such as cafe, shops and restaurants were on walking distance

Cleaning can be improved, there were marks on sofas, and carpet, small amount of mould building up on tiles in bathroom


They charged extra for water bottles to be provided in the room, in my opinion water bottles must be free for guests

Staff at reception and in restaurant were helpful

Adem bey, restaurant manager, was very polite and nice to us. We appreciated for his effort to serve us. He deserves more.

There is one missing of hotel, the TV on rooms, do not have internet connections and other smart tv applications application such as Netflix, Amazon Prime. When you stay at 5 star hotel, you expect this..

Reception was horrible. Ambience was very bad.Overall a horrible experience from staff , simple request of iron to use they limit it for one to two hours and Knock the door multiple times to get it back , didn't expect this attitude from a hotel chain even boutique hotels have better courtesy !

Last day spent in trabzon

It was fine but as value to money not due to the current situation of covid-19.which the Management was so carefully doing their best to maintain the guest with proper measures of protection.

The hotel needs a renovation since its getting old for its interior . which i believe the Management shall do it if they are in better economy as before the pandemic .

The stay was good, the receptionist was very nice, and the room cleaning crew was awesome.
One problem: breakfast was not included in my reservation and when i went to eat, the menu price for breakfast was 40 and they charged us 65 each. A difference of 75 TL for three people. It all adds up. Recommended despite the hiccup.

Hotel close to Black Sea without the view

The amenities I got for almost $90/night wasn’t very pleasing. The AC didn’t work but the place was kept clean. Paid about $17 for breakfast which is fine, but the food wasn’t good. Wi-Fi was slow. Only stayed two nights so overall rating is OK.

Dripping roof, constant buzzing in bathroom, kids running and screaming in hall all night, hidden entrance, obnoxious valet. Breakfast was good though!

Research better/more affordable alternatives

Highly priced with a €15 per person breakfast that we didn't try - more than 100 Turkish Liras for two people, in a city where you can have a very good lunch including appetizers, drinks and deserts at a very nice and popular restaurant for less than 50 Turkish Liras for 2 people.
The carpet was dirty and had stains. The bed and the rest of the furniture looked clean though.
Room service did a poor job changing our towels and washing the glasses and utensils we've used the night before. I called reception and the room service manager came over, apologized, took care of the situation and brought us some fruits which was very nice.
We didn't get a sea-view room and got a street/mountain view room instead, which was still nice in my opinion.
The hotel has a beach which is nice.

On the beach. Reasonable sitting area with seaview

The staff are not so welcoming and are too few to take care of customers. The hotel hosts a lot of tourists and do not have a staff member to handle tour arrangements. I had to wonder which bus is mine and go ask the bus drivers.

Novotel Yomra

The hotel itself is nice and has the beach right behind it. It's the best hotel in the area. Trabzon is a good distance away, but you can catch a dolmus easily from the street in front. Taxi rides into the city center are about 20 lira. We enjoyed the stay and have no complaints.

Best hotel in Trabzon area

Dinner surprised us, it was better than usual hotel food and better than the surrounding restaurants in Yomra. The hotel itself was solid in terms of ambience and comfort, and location was good unless you wanted something in downtown Trabzon, but it's close to airport, downtown, and countryside, and next to a quiet little mall with a food court and a few shops if you need something.

Beachfront luxury away from city congestion

The location is a little removed from the congestion and only a 2 TRY minivan ride away from the city center. This makes the balcony view refreshing to wake up to. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The vibe is very business-oriented, but the deal is quite good.

the hotel has a great location near the beach. It provides special facilities to enjoy swimming in the black sea. Breakfast is nice but very crowded so the staff couldn't manage to clean the tables on time. nice outdoor terrace. We enjoyed our stay there.

COULD be perfect!

We entered the \"superior\" hotel room (with sea view) we reserved, & found that the room LOOKS perfect - especially with the wonderful wide view of the vibrant (walking-distance) Black Sea. We kept balcony door open to enjoy sea breeze; but couldn't sleep at night due to SO many mosquitoes!! OUR EXPERIENCE WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF THE ROOM HAD A BUG SCREEN. Other than this (major problem), everything about the room was perfect - it's clean, well-designed, spacious & comfortable. The hotel also has some decent sport facilities: a small/medium indoor pool, with a gym containing all the essentials. We found the phone rates are extremely high. The hotel's FOOD is THE BEST we've had in Turkey... & there was a variety of food choices due to a mall being around 100m away! The free shuttle bus is also great - with nearly hourly trips to another mall, and the airport - upon reservation. From our experience, there isn't much to go to very near to the hotel, but the hotel has arranged for daily tour buses with travel agents. We've had some bad experiences arranging for tours with the receptionists (who contact the agencies for hotel guests); however, with some arguing/escalation, the issues were resolved. Our focus was sight-seeing, & we found several amazing attractions 1-3 hours (by car/bus) away (i.e. Aydar, Samula, Uzungol, etc), & the tours helped enjoy these at affordable rates. Room service / housekeeping was good & prompt, tho we could only go to a mall for urgent laundry.

TRABZON NOVATEL

The hotel, staff, rooms and food were all excellent. The only downfall to this excellent experience is the location, which is about 10kms out of town and requires a taxi. That said, there is a shuttle to the airport (about 3 kms) and also a free service to the Forum shopping centre. I would happily stay again, and the restaurant is easily the best Trabzon has to offer.

Black Sea gem

New, modern hotel with sleek design for a relaxing respite. Helpful staff. Views of sunrise, sunset and sea from balcony. Great value. Free hotel shuttle service to/from Trabzon airport and modern shopping center. Unfortunately no free hotel shuttle service to center of Trabzon but public dolmus (van) is convenient. Indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar was surprisingly good. Hotel faces a calm sea with an accessible beach and is about 15 minutes from center of Trabzon. Hotel is conveniently located near major highway for driving to Rize and other cities.
If you're not up for the crazy (and dangerous) driving, it's easy to buy tix from the bus companies (Ulusoy) to visit the incredible Sumela Monastery (wear tennis shoes because of slippery trails), Lake Uzungol for spectacular mountains, meadows, and trout, and the Aya Sophia via a local dolmus.

Resepsiyonda kimse yoktu ben seslendiğim zaman gelindi ve güleryüz bile yoktu çıkış yapıncada aynı şekildeydi yine kimse yoktu oda kartımızda bıraktık arkamızı döndüğümüzde biri geldi ve yine güleryüz yok otelde tek beğendiğim şey Spa daki arkadaşların güleryüzlü oluşları ve ilgilenmeleriydi. Bir daha gidecek olsam Novoteli tercih etmem.
