The check-in process was extremely slow. The room is very comfortable, but outdated (no power sockets near bed). As it is in the city centre, the prayer call from nearby mosques enters the room and disturbs sleep in the early morning.

starting from the receptionist, very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the room with the cool AC, but it gets warmer during the daytime. Weird. The room is quite old, as it was very super popular during the late 80s-early 90s and i dont think it was every renovated. My superior room was still labelled \"Business Class\" under the room number.
Breakfast was so-so, reasonable amount of options.
The surrounding area provides plenty of entertainment, starting from late night snacks, coffee, satays, seafood, and plenty more.
hot water worked well.

Was great overall, just that check-in was slow due many guests checking in at that time and only two front desk clerks.

The aircon in my room (club lounge) was not cold at all. The maintenance guy came to fix, but i didn't feel much improvement. The food/snack choices were also very limited and not very attractive. however, the staff were very friendly, bed was comfy, city view from my room was directly at Monas, and its pretty cool. This place was once the IN place in town, I hope the hotel makes improvement on this.
The swimming pool was alright, but there was no hot n cold pool, steam room, only a sauna room that fits about 4-5people. The gym was nice, was said that its one of the best in town. I wouldn't know, as I don't go to gyms.

Cozy Rooms, Great View, Great Hospitality

Was greeted by two of the most amazing receptionists (Tifany and *cant remember) with a gesture and smile.
Mind you, it made a whole lot of difference after hours in a flight and a hectic day.

Soaked into the cozy room (i took up the Club Suite at Level 17) and had the most beautiful view facing the city; it was tranquil at its best.

Breakfast was decent.

Hospitality was Great.

Nice hotel to stay - Return Stay

This is my second time coming back to this hotel. As usual the check in is quite prompt. Manage to get my room at the TOP level (Plaza Club Level). The room was clean and nice. The hotel even send me a welcome fruit and chocolate for my arrival. Plus point!

The breakfast was good at the ground level with various kind of food. Was quite limited at the lounge.

Location of the hotel is quite good with many local food at the road side. And good restaurant like Pondok Laguna is just at the near walking distance. You will never go with empty stomach around this area.

The check out was also very prompt but I’m surprise that been paying for more staying at the executive level, you can’t do the check out at the executive level (Most of the hotel do have such service). Maybe the hotel management would like to consider to included such facilities in the future to enhance the customer service.

Rundown Hotel

Staying for 3 days in August 2017. Requesting a non smoking room. Room conditions: we were unable to sleep all night due to the strong cigarette odor, has carpet stains, chair fabric was torn, electric outlet was broken, bathroom sink counter was cracked, bathtub has brown stain all over, drain was plugged, bath towels fabric had no more fiber, loud noise where the band started playing at 7AM. Loud scream and banging at 6AM, from the other room. We will NEVER go back NOR recommend this hotel to anyone.

Decent Hotel but very busy

Hotel was ok. Very busy with political convention. Booked a two day stay and in middle of first night found a note slipped under door to check out the next day due to being full. Not very professional. Was told that was mistake by delivery person but that's not good. Hotel elevators were slow and this is probably a result of the political convention going on at the same time.

Hotel in Jakarta Pusat

Nice location. Accessible to places of interest. Close to MONAS..within walking distance. Breakfast variety is good.Staff is friendly. Good facilities.

Only thing is the aircond in the original room was not working. Got upgraded to the Suite room. Nice room but better maintenance should be done. Dust in the wardrobe. Wash basin drainage issue and bathroom drainage not fast enough.

Nice hotel but stingy

Stayed at this hotel for a week, nice hotel.
Service ok also.
I had some expensive watch missing from my room.It was recovered although damage was sustained. I'm appreciate if a small gesture of goodwill from management as recompense for my anxiety and the upcoming cost of repair to my damaged watch, and im happy to keep confidential and discreet if they could upgrade my room or something else but,
\"Sorry\"thats the only thing that they could do.

The swimming pool,is the best part, staff in general does not speak English not even at reception, rooms are on the small side, in our first room the aircon was on full cooling, impossible to change,so way too cold and noisy, bathroom very run down, stained bath, loose shower head, in our second room the toilet was mounted on an angle makes for awkward sittings. But the aircon was working. Free towels at the pool were old and worn, ordering a beer was a big problem as they only had 2 bottles, breakfast was ok , but nothing special.
Maybe we were very spoiled last time when we visited the Majestic in Kuala Lumpur as that is the best hotel we ever been in.

2nd time stay, but different room style

i like stay in this hotel at first, in my 2nd time i thought it would be the same room style. Compared to my first, this room a bit worse. the curtain not completely blocked the sun, the bed a bit not comfortable (the first is so good), the type of the room is not quite nice placed compared to the first time. it would be enjoyable if i got the same room type, because i book exactly the same as the first time and it was really good

There are many other type of rooms offered by this hotel but I am not sure why they only provide 2-3 types of rooms on other online booking websites. Most of their staff have thick Indonesian accent and it quite difficult for me to communicate/ understand their English language.

4 days 3 nights stay

Wifi was very slow out of 4 days i managed to detect the wifi in my room twice only and it lasted 2 mins. After that it went blank. I have to rush down and sit at the lobby for awhile to get connected which i did throughout my stay. Called the reception to ask about the wifi but they said they will call me back but they didnt. Need to improve the router.

Breakfast was very good serving western and asian delights. Room was big and clean. Just need a lil upgrade it
Looks kinda outdated.

Gym area was the best! The pool area was ok , if only they open up a bar or drinking station where we can relax and chill by the pool would be great.

My Redtop, Pasar Baru

Hotel is very nice, but check-in was very slow. Room big and comfortable with KS bed, refrigerator but no mini-bar. Beers at the lounge bar were very pricey, (due to recent laws, you can't pop out to the Alphamart or 7-11 and buy beer any more). Internet was not working. TV had plenty of cable channels. Pool is very big, great for relaxing and an excellent gym. Price per night has increased markedly in the last 2 or 3 years, but it's still the same Redtop with good service, excellent staff. You could do a lot worse, but for Jakarta it's kinda expensive.

2 nights business trip. Had corner room on the 10th floor. Sfpacious room, fast internet speed in room and good spread for breakfast. Neighborhood outside hotel is busy and slightly chaotic with busy traffic and lots of local road-side eateries.

Pleasant hotel but some things in the room needed attention. The blind on one window did not shut so constant light coming into the room. The room safe did not work also it was not fixed to the floor to hold it down. The iron and ironing board were of a very poor standard. Breakfast was good but mainly geared for local people.

Great apart from wifi

I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2015. It's a little out of town but is connected to the train station Chan Sow Lin making it easy to catch a train to the city or airport.The hotel has a free shuttle to kl towers at 11am and 12 pm for convenience.
The rooms are smallish but very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities plus room safe. Beds are very comfortable and quite,unless you get a noisy guest next door or across the hallway. Reception is very helpful and polite. Breakfast has a variety of dishes and should cater for most people.
My only gripe is the WiFi, which is woeful at best constantly disconnecting and very slow. (i was told it was because of the large number of guests at the time) Check if you need good wifi forget it.
A 7 eleven is close by outside if you need some food. I would give it 5 out of 5 apart from the wifi. Overall recommend

The main problem we had was with the hotel wifi. None of the guests could connect to the wifi while in their rooms. They had to stand either in the corridor or be around the lobby area to connect to wifi. The guests complained several times during their stay but no action was taken

This hotelstay was an overall dissapointment. The rooms I stayed in were somewhat aged. The staff barely speaks english and find it difficult to communicate. The WIFI-speed is appauling.
I booked plaza suite to get access to executive lounge too. Nowhere was it stated that the lounge was closed. A few trinkets was instead brought to the room, but bar far not worth the added cost of an executive floor stay. Simply not good enough.
The bathroom faucet was loose and the shower head couln't be moved.
Food and restaurant is non-existent. The quality is very, very poor and slow to deliver, Primarily Indonesian breakfast buffet - not a lot of international content. Warm buffet was cold everyday. No room-service possiblities really. Not going back there...

除了床單還算是乾淨其他乏善可陳,廁所使用壁紙多處已經發霉,洗澡時排水功能很差,五分鐘淹腳踝, 冰箱基本上根本沒冷藏的功能, 最糟糕的是櫃台, 中午12點check out時, check-out櫃台根本沒人, 結果是在check-in櫃台check out...... 櫃台人員看到我拿著行李在check-out櫃台排也不會跟我說, 就讓我站在那等, 然後我問了之後改排check-out櫃台, 排了20分鐘只有前面兩組客人都無法完成check out, 最後我把門卡丟在櫃台就走, 否則如果塞車會趕不上飛機.. 非常不好的體驗
