First, a major discrepancy occurred at check-in. I had a confirmation for a two-night stay including breakfast, but was informed the reservation was only for one night. I am concerned about what caused this error, as it reflects on the reliability of your booking process.

Second, the integrity of my non-smoking room was compromised. The moment I opened the door, I noticed a distinct tobacco smell, which was later confirmed by visible burn marks on the carpet. This was disappointing and negatively affected my comfort.

I must commend your staff for their friendly demeanor throughout. However, their positivity could not compensate for the core failures in reservation management and room quality control. I hope this feedback helps you improve your processes.\"

Was dissapointed during check in.
Called before i arrived asking for early check in ,The offer me 50% of room rate. When I reach earlier by 2hours was asking to pay full fair for the room so I could go in to the room else I have to wait 1hr 30min before i could go in the room.
2nd during check out, ask for transport to ky meeting place and from my meeting place to hotel. Arrangement is not done properply and have to wait 30min to check out.
Dont think i would wan to stay at the hotel again for my travel. Its nice hotel. But the service at front desk could be betrer

Another nice experience at Grand Mercure Harmoni.

A great stay overall. The best was the staff. Almost everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and laundry service prompt and reasonable. The room itself is a bit dated and could use a refresh, but the bed was comfortable and shower was large and had no shortage of water pressure or hot water. Looking forward to another stay soon.

It's my favourite go to place in Jakarta. Good sized rooms, super clean, breakfast spread is very elaborate. Try their bakery items in breakfast, it's a must. Good gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam it's just amazing.The staff is very polite, helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

No Non-smoking room at 4.30 pm

My group arrive at the hotel at 4.30 pm and was offer all smoking rooms and no non smoking rooms are available at 4.30 pm. Had to wait another 30 mins to check in and then was given a smoking room by mistake. I have to go back there to request again for non smoking room.

One of my favourite hotels in Jakarta. Lovely rooms a d great facilities like swimming pool and gym.
Service, as always, was first class. I hurt my back and was struggling to walk for a few days but all the staff looked after me really well and ensured I had everything I needed to be comfortable!

Downgraded & No Compensation

Overall, we are unhappy because our room got downgraded because they don't have anymore room that is non-smoking deluxe room. I am pregnant so non-smoking room will not be an option! They run out of most rooms even though we have BOOKED our hotel days before, can't refund the difference, and will only compensate us with breakfast (which not worth the money)... So what if they are clean and have good service if we didn't get what we paid for??? Husband was unhappy, my family was unhappy, and I am unhappy too. Never ever again.

1. Damn poor wifi connection. It was so bad that nothing meaningful can be achieved from the wifi.

2. Bad security! Housekeeping staffs entered room without permission and notice when I am in the room.

3. Bad security! Door don't even have a latch to double secure the room door.

4. Can't even get it right by providing an iron and ironing board.

5. Lousy breakfast.

An Okay Stay

I didn't remember to be able to choose which type of room, smoking or non-smoking, that I'd prefer when booking through Expedia.
I arrived around dinner time, and the front-desk claimed that there's no more non-smoking room left, but there's non-smoking room available tomorrow. Reluctantly, as I have no other choice, I agree.
I was there to attend my friend's wedding (held at the same hotel).
However, when my soon-to-be-wed friend booked a room for a relative that night (after I checked in), the hotel give her a non-smoking room. I was flabbergasted and quite angry to be honest. Was I also not a paying customer? I ended up asking my friend to book another non-smoking room for me and asked the front-desk to transfer the charges to my new room.

The housekeeping wasn't as clean as I prefer. At night, my roommate unknowingly dropped a chocolate on the bathroom floor, and it was still there when the housekeeping left. The place-mats for glasses were dusty and when I picked it up, the tray below was so dirty and stained.

Used the toothpaste, but didn't throw away the box with the toothbrush. They didn't give me a refill of the toothpaste. No refill of the tissues too.

The hotel, the room and services are great. Courteous staff, neat and spacious rooms and lobby, clean and bright. Loved this place. The room rate could be a few dollars less though, because of the location - it's not really close to anything (except the McDonald's right next), considering Jakarta traffic.

Good hotel if you need somewhere to stay in Jakarta with quality and cleanliness. First impression and check-in was not toooo bad, the receptionist was not exactly friendly and didn’t say anything really other than to sign a form and make a deposit for the minibar (maybe he had a bad day). I wasn’t told how to get to my room. The room itself was very clean and modern with a good shower. I can’t speak for the location as I was only passing through Jakarta, but it seemed central and taxis are always outside so that was good. If you are a Westerner then prepare for extremely busy roads in the area.

I would say the restaurant exceeded expectations as the staff were perfect. Prices are around what you’d pay in western countries, so roughly double that of the rest of Java, but the food quality was excellent. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice for all nationalities but, again, expensive compared to rest of Java.

Checkout was smooth and the staff were helpful in getting a taxi.

Overall, I had a comfortable stay, but it was lacking some charm like having staff say hi or smile a little. So I would recommend it to anyone, but especially if you were a solo traveller for business or leisure and maybe just passing through Jakarta.

- customer service was generally acceptable, but somehow did not match up to other Mecure hotels I've been to (not as warm?)

Great stay quick check in nice room just that one night the wifi stop working call the front deck they send first guy came and couldn't get it to work and send another guy, he both a pocket wifi that didn't worked too he came with another pocket wifi and didn't too and told me to wait for the technical person to check the problem but never show up waited for over two hours for technical person for a total of 3 hours of waiting got hungry went to dinner came back and still no wifi, so the next morning told the front deck how i felt and came back from breakfast and the problem was fix....

The room was large enough, the bed very comfortable. There was a whole wall of windows (but not much of a view at all). For some silly reason the people who designed the lighting but a bright LED light in the soffit near the windows AND NO SWITCH TO TURN IT OFF AT NIGHT. It meant I had to close the black-out curtains in order to shut out that light...and I hate sleeping in a room blackened that way and without the promise of morning light!

Large pool and steam room and sauna. Breakfast was abundant but in a crowded dining hall...nothing very luxurious about it especially if you go at \"feeding time\" around 8am.

The staff was outstanding as so much Indonesian staff is: smiling, courteous, well-groomed.

4-star with 2-star experience

For a 4-star hotel, I felt that I got a 2-star experience out of my Le Accor Plus membership. Staff doesn't know the benefits and was confused by what I could get.

The hotel is not fully booked but I wasn't allowed to do a late checkout. The receptionist had to ask for manager's approval to let me stay until 2PM.

On the day I was gonna check out they called me to get the room ready for check out. I had to mention the conversation I had that I thought I was allowed for 2PM check-out. In the end, I had to give up the room. Not going to stay at this hotel ever.

Room was dusty also. Do not stay at the 18th floor, there's a karaoke bar at the 19th floor and you could hear drunk people singing their heart's out.

Nice hotel. 3rd Time staying here. A few pointers, kindly please provide basic toiletries meant for 2 people. It will save you time = less labour= saving $$. Lots of time can be cut down which can be better spend by your staff in other critical areas. The cost of providing amenities for 2 people is neglible.

btw, upon check-in I informed reception that the mini bar was missing items and had not been topped up. It took 3 calls over 6 hours before it was finally replenished. Awesome (sarcastic) communication.

By the way, it looks awful that the hotel will not serve water to guest dining at the outlet. I was told no water will be served for a late lunch. This inspite of having ordered a mocktail off the menu. Really... you can't be serious about not serving water to dining guest.
