This is a great hotel if you plan on skiing at niseko. We travelled from the U.S. and the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to Sapporo train station and the chuo bus to niseko Hirafu also stops here. So airport -> train to Sapporo -> shuttle to hotel -> great overnight stay at Prince hotel -> chuo bus to niseko for skiing in the morning

Yes. Lovely spacious room. Loved the huge window with great view towards Mt Moiwa. Excellent amenities. Helped me a lot with late 1pm check out. Very efficient and helpful front desk & arrival staff. Great place to stay as bus from Furano terminated here.

Clean room. Comfortable. Great view 25th floor. Able to shut heat and use AC as needed. Biggest reason to book here. Other in town rooms are way too hot in Winter. One important thing. Grandeur restaurant in hotel is TERRIBLE. It needs to be closed down! Avoid it! Stayed in newly redone Club room. Not sure would stay in the regular rooms. I checked in on 23 December and arrived at the hotel at around 4:00 p.m. As there was no staff guiding guests at the main entrance upon arrival, I took a luggage trolley myself and loaded our bags. The check-in process went smoothly, and the front desk kindly arranged for a well-dressed gentleman in a suit to assist us with the trolley, for which I was very appreciative.
What followed, however, was rather unexpected. We were using the Club Lounge elevator, and after I swiped my card to open the door, I worried the luggage was heavy. Wanting to be helpful, I smiled and held the automatic door open to make it easier for him to pass through. To my surprise, he responded with a look of clear displeasure and waved me away. I was momentarily confused and began wondering if I had done something wrong—when he suddenly shouted, “Go!”
I was genuinely startled. I turned around and hurried away out of fear. Even now, I still cannot understand what I did to provoke such a reaction. Over the following days, I encountered this gentleman again, and to be honest, I felt quite intimidated. I barely dared to look up when passing him, and it was obvious that he had no desire to see me either.
I truly have no idea how I managed to offend him so deeply. It was a strange and unsettling experience.
I rarely write such detailed reviews, but this time I felt compelled to share this unusual experience. I did not even have the courage to note down his name, fearing he might shout at me again.

The room was spacious and clean with a nice layout, and the staff were professional and helpful when I needed to use their luggage courier service. The club lounge had a great view and decent complimentary food and drinks. However, the room has no external sound proofing. On the 26th floor you can hear outside traffic, sirens, and even the crosswalk signal beeping. The area is not super walkable in winter snow, though I'm sure it's much easier in warmer weather. Most restaurants or attractions are about a 15-20 minute walk away and feels twice as far in inclement weather.

This is an excellent hotel, slightly off the tourist beaten path, with a quiet and elegant vibe. The rooftop bar has a view of Sapporo that is exquisite. The staff is attentive and helpful. Free shuttle bus to new Chitose airport. Excellent breakfast options. Walking distance to Odori Park and Subway and street cars, this is an excellent choice if you want to stay out of tourist mayhem.

The reception, check-in process, guidance snd recommendations, reservation of a shuttle to the Sapporo Station, knowledge professionalism of staff stood out. Hotel was just a 3 minute walk to the Nishi Juitchome station Subway line that connect to Nanboku and Toho lines at the Odori Station. The tram station is just a minutes walk from the hotel. A very convenient, accessible and excellent hotel.

Just giving the stars for the shuttle bus and the room spaciousness. The rest i don’t really satisfied with the hotel. The single bed is very narrow, we could not sleep well because of that. We need to pay for the onsen and some amenities. Not to mention the location is inconvenient!

The Sapporo Prince was a wonderful base for exploring Sapporo. The free shuttle to and from the station was a bonus and gave an immediate sense of the quality of service and accommodation that was awaiting us. Our room was relatively spacious compared to others on our trip and gave us views across the city. Our stay included breakfast in the buffet restaurant and it was fantastic with a huge selection of options. On our last night we went to the cocktail lounge on the 28th floor and, though not a budget friendly experience, the ambiance, views and service made it worthwhile.

Top service! But BE AWARE!

Yey, Ofuro (communo bath)! Great high end hotel service and was low price during my stay in July. $150 USD for 3 people 3 beds. They carried our luggages, restaurants were amazing!, with lots of amenities like communo bath, fitness! NOW BE AWARE these issues: additional fee for Ofuro 1000 yen Fitness center 2000 yen. Also NO LIGHT weight for women to work out, only heavy weights available. Now, the building is round (tube like design) so perhaps issues with space, but our room had 3 beds and NOT enough space to walking around with 3 small carry-on luggages to be in the room. No storage or hang space much so you couldn't even get stuff out and close one luggage to create walking space. So if you are coming in with larger than carry on luggage, forget it. No way you ll fit. I think its a deal breaker.Also NO WATER provided in the room so bring your own.

Exceptional buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. And proximity to Odori Koen was convenient however, the added fee for the onsen use along with the unexpectedly small room size left the 3 of us dissatisfied with the overall experience.
We stayed at Sapporo Mitsui Garden West on 07/10/25 and felt the overall experience was better. Certain amenities at Prince stand out as 5 star (restaurant food quality, elevator quality and condition, front lobby efficiency and language proficiency), but the small room size was the factor that was a unanimous turnoff.

The subway is nearby and Tanukikoji Shopping Street is just a short walk away with lots of restaurants and shops. I enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. One feedback is that I booked a triple sharing room and they still give a room for 2 persons and squeezed a bed in for the third person. It makes the room very small for 3. They should have placed us in a larger room. Forza hotel in Kyoto did just that for a triple sharing room!

It was quite inconvenient that none of the staff spoke English. For such a large hotel, it was surprising and hard to understand why there were no English-speaking staff available.

We ended up changing to a larger room, which comfortably accommodated the three of us. We paid an additional 10,000 yen ($80) per night and stayed for a total of five nights.

We had access to the Royal Club on the 28th floor, where we enjoyed breakfast as well as the tea time and cocktail hour services. That part of the stay was a very pleasant memory.

Pretty comfortable stay though the room looks much smaller than images shown from the website for 21 sq m. Hotel is a little bit off the busy shopping belt but it made up by the free bus shuttle service to the Sapporo Station. The electric streetcar stops and subway stop are only a 5-10 mins walk away. Super convenient. We extended our checkout time for a small fee which worked out well for us as we had a late evening flight.

My friend and I really enjoyed The Sapporo Prince. It was a great hotel very close to everything within a 2-5 minute walk. The room was spotless and had a great view of the city. Everyone was helpful and friendly in the hotel, plus there was a free shuttle to Sapporo Station which we took advantage of two times during our stay.

Another perk was the delicious buffet. It had both Japanese & western dishes. My favorite was the local Sapporo soup curry. Excellent stay overall and would return again in the future!

I couldn't find any documentation that I had prepaid, so have to assume I was in the wrong, but it would have been useful to have this information at checkin. Average hotel in Sapporo. Room was small but it was expected for Japan.
However, there were a lot of unexpected charges which I hope hotels dot com take note. None of this was in the description.
1. Breakfast was JPY 3000 per person per day.
2. To use the fitness center, you need to pay JPY 2000 per person per day
3. To use the onsen, you need to pay JPY 1000 per person per day
I was really looking forward to the stay but all the extra fees really caught me off guard. Breakfast was expected but not for the other expenses. Disappointing for a Prince Hotel chain.

We came for the Sapporo Snow Festival and this hotel was in a great location for our trip. Aside from being walking distance, the near by tram stops made it easy to have excursions to other parts of the city, like to Susukino for example.

The rooms are larger than the normal Japan hotels. There’s a few restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Location is good - not too far from ramen alley and shopping. The hotel also provides free shuttle service to Sapporo Station, which is nice. For airport transfer, we took the bus directly from the airport to hotel and vice versa. This made traveling easy with all our luggage.

Wife here booked the hotel for husband and son for 3 or 4 nights?. I thought the spa would be for free and there was no washing machine and microwave like other cheaper hotels around the area.

I chose this hotel because of how clean and spacious it looked. Two single beds with city view. My son and husband were happy with their stay at the Prince hotel and enjoyed going out. Very peaceful they said.

They were going to charge me additional fee for a room that has 3 beds supposed to be for 3 persons.
