Out of the seven different hotels and villas I stayed at during my trip to Bali, Abi Bali Resort Villas & Spa was by far my favorite. I had a one-bedroom private villa, and it was absolutely amazing—spacious, serene, and beautifully designed.

The food at the restaurant was excellent, and I had no issues using the discounts offered at both the restaurant and the spa. The massage I received during my stay was top-notch—relaxing and professionally done.

All around, it was a fantastic experience. I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer during this part of my trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape in Jimbaran.

luxurious end of Bali trip

this resort was beautiful. A 5 star look and feel, this was a gorgeous way to spend our last night in Bali. Spacious, we stayed in one of 4 suites that shared a pool and an outdoor lounge area. The room was spacious with a king+ bed and a huge outdoor / indoor bathroom. it was about a km to the beach however there is no defined footpath so suggest getting transport.

Staff were great. Overall of our room was nice.Just that when booking we didn't realize the bathroom was connected to the outdoor with no doors. So be prepared to see quite a bit of bugs roaming in your bathroom.

Loved it, the staff were friendly and the villa was very nice and clean.

The pool was massive, really surprised as it didn’t look that big in pictures!

Very close to shops, you can literally walk outside of the property and there’s a grocery store a minutes walk or so away!

Would definitely recommend staying here if you get a chance!

Best surprise: shower under the open sky! Huge bathroom and room. The last turned into a disadvantage, since the tv was thus too far from the bed.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Calm and quiet in the resort enclosure. Very good supermarket right by its side.
Insufficient cleanliness: the room floor had hairs that were not mine. The gravel area in the shower, which would have been magnificent to walk on, was covered in long hairs. The teapot at the meals area was stained. There was a permanent unpleasant food smell there. The cover sheet was rather gray.
One-way free shutle to Jimbaran. The first one of the day was quite late: 10:00 am.
The resort advertised a free shutle to the airport, which is quite close, for any stay that was longer than 3 days. When enquiring, I was told instead that this applied only when booking straight at the hotel.
Overall, I was sorry to leave.

We stayed in room Sriya 6.

GOOD - the hotel has a resort feel. It has 3 pools, one was right next to our room and we were the only ones who used it. It was very private. The restaurant was really good, fresh, good options, they even brought pizza to us to eat poolside. The bed was massive, comfortable, got quality bedding. The room was also massive and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing! A rain shower outdoors showering under the stars, a big bath and a nice double basin. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our driver who picked us up at the airport was awesome, good English and so friendly. He gave us so many tips and tricks.

BAD - the location is a little isolated, there is a small supermarket next door for water etc but you can’t walk out and get a meal or see sights, you have to taxi everywhere. Fortunately taxis are not too difficult to get using the grab or gojek app.

Overall this place was amazing and exceeded all our expectations.

To Travel Jimbaran region, but constrained buget, Abi Bali Resort and Spa would be an alternative option. Not located at near beach, you can reach famous places easily. If you rent a motor bike, that will be much easier. Hotel was so good, beautiful, especially clean. Nice staff, huge room and pool .

A great place to stay

Loved our stay at Abi Bali. Room and bathroom large and very clean. Bed comfortable. Laundry came back clean and smelling lovely. Gardens are well maintained and beautiful. Breakfast had great choices and restaurant was good. Had great facials and pedicures. Quiet location. Great staff. Annoying that you had to re connect wifi when phone turns off. A great place to relax and enjoy your holiday.

the staff at Ali Bali were wonderful. Friendly, kind and eager to please. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were looking for a quieter area which it is but not too far from the Jimbarran area or beautiful beach. the venie offers a shuttle every 2 hours into the main section of Jimbarran. the friendliness of the staff and surrounding area was so positive. the only thing of concern was the external area which I believe was designed for customers to do some of their own cooking needs improving. I opened the microwave and quickly closed it, and the cooking jets were rusty and you would need to purchase all cleaning products and tea towels as only a few bits of utensils are available. but the positive is the cost of food in the area is very cheap and why would you want to cook.

Great staff and service. Loved the room, especially the outdoor bathroom, restaurant and pool area. No cocktails at the bar though. It was about a $3 or 5 min taxi ride to the southern end of Jimbaran. About 20 - 30 mins to Single Fin. There was a safe up at reception where we kept our passports. Highly recommend. Good value for money.

The staff are extremely warm, welcoming & competent, all requests are met with a smile and fully resolved. The resort is well set out and feels very private. The spa is relaxing with an impresively stocked Coy pond, also with excellent staff. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Set in a quiet area walkable to both the beach and the local shopping/ eating area with a courtesy bus running to both 2 hourly. Definitely worth a visit.

I would never stay here again

We booked for 5 nights and checked out on the 3rd night and stayed somewhere else as we just couldn't stay here another night.
They forgot to pick us up from the airport, when we checked in the service was not great at all. The room was run down and dirty and the food is awful. There's nothing around around also. i just would not recommend this hotel.

It was a beautifully quiet resort, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Jimbaran beach and Semonyak (approx 20-30min taxi depending on traffic). The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety.

A quiet, secluded hotel up on the hill.

We only stayed a night before we went to our resort as we got in late. It was a surprise from the start. The room was large, beautifully decorated and an outdoor shower to top it off in the marble bathroom. The only issue was, it rained all night and the next morning we had to wait for a break in the weather to shower...lol. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were friendly also. I could of stayed here longer, but it os quite out of the way.

Three star accommodation with a 4 star section

If you don't mind not being able to walk from this hotel to anywhere else, including shops, restaurants and beach, then stay here. If you don't mind that there are 61 steps to get from lobby to your room, then you won't mind a stay here either. If you are not fussy about being in a walled in compound, with no outlook, in a room that could be anywhere, then consider staying here. We prefer to feel like we are in Bali when we are in Bali and so we will not choose Abi Bali again, despite the very best efforts of the warm hearted staff to make our stay a pleasant one.

A beautiful hotel that we originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 4! Shuttle service to the beach was so convenient! Gorgeous, spacious, clean rooms (we had a deluxe room and saw one of the villas) with beautiful outdoor bath, excellent AC and attentive staff!! It's a great villa, away from the party scene remote but close enough to the airport and Kuta. Large room and bathroom, nice pools, good breakfast, helpful staff. Unfortunately, it's not walkable to anything as there are no sidewalks in the town. You will have to catch a taxi everywhere, but it is cheap(as long as the taxi driver isnt trying to rip you off). The other problem with the hotel, is the smokers. The villa allows smoking in the dining hall. I'm not a big fan of people smoking around me while I'm eating.

Relaxing place to stay.

Very nice we had a villa which was very private and what we wanted. Having the pool on our door step was great.
The only drawback it is remote and isolated. Transportation required to venture out and about. Shuttle to Jimbaran was good but a pick would be even better.

Cosy Room with Amazing Open Air Shower

We stayed at Abi Bali from 17-20 Sep 2015. The resort was cosy, comfortable and well-maintained. We booked a regular room (not the villa). Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious, well equipped with amenities and overlooked the pool (which was quite small so barely anyone swam in it). The best part of the room had to be the open air shower which provided amazing views of the sky.

Whilst breakfast was not buffet style, there were quite a few local and western ala carte choices and all came with a generous serving of fresh fruits and juices.

Relaxing quiet hotel

The best asset of this hotel is the staff attentive and friendly. Hotel was well kept and clean in public areas and the room. The hotel is a little way out from town and the beach but this means the hotel is quiet. A free shuttle bus runs every two hours during the day so helps to negate it's remote location. On site restaurant provides good basic cuisine at a reasonable price.

Lovely hotel, close enough to the airport

This is a nice affordable but quite luxury hotel in an area in Bali I would not really want to stay in for long. Jimburan is busy and dirty and touristy. We stayed here as a starting point for our trip to Bali as were were due to arrive late at night and wanted to stay somewhere near the airport. They picked us up free from the airport. While it isn't far from the airport, it is quiet and without aircraft noise so don't worry about that. We enjoyed the hotel and would recomend it for this purpose. They arranged a driver for us for a good price when we had to leave and head up to the much nicer area of Bali- the east coast. The room we had, Junior Suite, was great with a seating area, pool right outside (shared pool) and a lovely outside bathroom. The bed was HUGE and the place was nice and clean and tidy.

Pleasant, good value resort.

Stayed for 5 nights. First night they were overbooked and we were upgraded to a very nice villa with a private pool, which was great, but unfortunately made our following nights seem less awesome, although perfectly comfortable.

Overall, it's a pretty good facility and we had a peaceful and pleasant few days there. Rooms were clean and tidy, although the outside bathrooms take some getting used to with the humidity and a few mosquitoes.

There were certainly a few things that could have used a bit more attention:

* On our second day in the second room, we found that the staff had left the full length window/door unlocked due to a faulty latch, so our goods had been in an unlocked room for a day.

* We were preparing for a wedding, so needed to iron clothes, but the entire facility only had two irons, both old and barely functional. One was sitting on the ironing board and deposited a puddle of rusty water on the floor about 3 feet wide. That could have been our clothes.

* The on-site restaurant had a very wide-ranging menu, but they're not very busy at dinner and the food was no better than okay. Considering there are no reasonable eateries within walking distance that aren't part of other resorts, this was a little disappointing.

* Most of the staff were outstanding and friendly. A big commendation for smiling, charming Wayan in the restaurant.

* But what is with the cleaning staff lying on the beds and watching television? We observed this behaviour on two occasions.

Wonderful and very helpful staff....Nice size rooms and amenities, and small swimming pools throughout the complex, which was great! Great place at a reasonable price for overnighting between various parts of Indonesian explorations. Stored luggage here between forays, which made travelling light even easier!

Value for money but......

It was a wonderful experience staying in the Villa, we all enjoyed the hotel stay and facility very much. Hotel staff were v cooperative and humble. Breakfast was acceptable too. But, truly disappointed by the dinner we had for two days. Food we felt were not fresh and the cooks didn't show any kind of enthusiasm to cook the food. Would say that as the only black mark in the resort, wish they can lift the quality standard of food and have more fresh food instead of refrigeration.

Nice visit to Jimbaran

This visit was meant to be a short visit to see the area and visit the surrounding activities It was interesting but not a whole lot different then most of the areas in this part of Indonesia. The hotel was quite quaint with excellent staff, nice large rooms, and the food was better than we expected. The bathroom having an outside shower was really a quaint change. Generally we were please with our accommodations although it would have been nice if the hotel was within walking distance to the downtown area. Having said that the quietness of the country was a pleasant change.

A very beautiful hotel, I recommend it for others.
The service was very professional and helpful.
The only problem is that there is no safety box inside the room, instead they are placed in a room behind the reception. So every time you had to call someone from the staff to open the door for you.

We had a double room villa with a private pool. Service, room comfort and cleanliness were excellent! Meal was great too: probably a dozen of breakfast options and good choice of meals for dinner, all was inexpensive. Overall, the stay was extremely comfortable, pleasant and joyful. The only drawback is the location: the distance to the beach is not manageable by walk as the villas located on the hill, but the hotel provides good transportation service to the beach. We were happy with the choice overall.

Very nice hotel. A good start to the vacation. The rooms are big & the open bathroom is a nice concept. Might find a few bugs after sunset but nothing to be worried about. The friendly staff do go out of their way to ensure that your needs are met. The breakfast buffet could do with a bit more of variety...Its about 10 mins drive to all the seafood places on Jimbaran bay...overall a very pleasant experience.

The 2 bedroom suite lives up to its pictures, loved every minute there. The rest of the hotel looks great as well. The food is nice, but the breakfast included with the room could be improved. The only qualm I have with the place is the location, its like in the middle of Jimbaran bay and Kuta, nothing much to do in the surroundings but great if you want to chill in the hotel mostly. They have hourly buses to Jimbaran Bay.

Ticks the boxes but lacking something

Its a nice enough hotel. Ticks a lot of the boxes - big comfortable bed, bath, good shower (though not really outdoors), large rooms, outdoor pools, very clean, on-site spa/ massage, cable TV, gym. However, even though of good quality, it was all a bit bland and lacking atmosphere. Staff were a bit neutral - not unfriendly as such, just a bit indifferent - in contrast to most other places we stayed in the region where staff have been very friendly. Had to ask several times to book a massage. Final bill took a while to sort. The hotel has a very enclosed feel about it - the pool is surrounded by high walls, there are no views of anything from anywhere in the hotel. The free transfer into town left 20 minutes late, took a strange route into town via lots of traffic and dropped us almost inside one particular restaurant where presumably commission would have been paid to the driver. The transfer is one way. A taxi back wasn't all that easy to find from where we ended up walking to (possibly not the centre of town), but was cheap. Jimbaran itself has a very nice, long, wide beach. The fish BBQ, which is everywhere along the beach, is nice, but very overpriced and touristy - worth doing (once) though. Not sure what you'd do there for more than the one night we had. Handy for the airport, which is why we stayed there, but watch out for much more traffic on the way than you'd expect (which goes for Bali in general). The free 15 min massage was a nice idea. Breakfast OK.

Abi Bali Villas - Great value, friendly staff

This hotel and villa resort offers great value when compared to the other resorts nearby in this pricey area of Bali - Jimbaran. The rooms and villas are modern, clean and well thought out, with huge beds large outdoor bathrooms. The food is of a good standard and the staff are attentive and friendly. They paid particular attention to our two year old boy. It is a little bit of a walk to the main area and beach restaurants etc but that wasnt a problem due to the free one way shuttle.

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo passato 2 settimane e siamo stati molto bene. La camera e il bagno erano molto grandi e comodi, la pulizia era buona, il personale molto gentile e sempre pronti ad esaudire ogni richiesta, ogni 4 camere c'è una piscina, ma si può usufruire di tutte le piscine, tranquillità assicurata. La colazione non è a buffet, quindi potrebbe sembrare un po' poca, ma invece non è così, anzi è più che sufficiente. Questo Resort lo consiglio a tutti.

Asuimme ko. paikassa 13 yötä,mitään moitittavaa ei itse hotellissa ole.
Hotelli oli siisti,ilmastointi toimi ja henkilökunta ystävällistä.Uima-altaat olivat puhtaita ja käyttökunnossa koko ajan.Myös ruoka oli hyvää.
Kuntoilupiste ja spa hierontoineen löytyy myöskin.Ainoa miinus mielestäni oli hotellin ulkopuolelta kantautuva musiikin ja basson jytke,joka neljänä iltana häiritsi ja pariin otteeseen aamuun asti,jolle hotellin henkilökunta ei ilmeisesti mahda mitään.Joten jos on herkkäuninen voi olla vaikeuksia saada nukuttua🤔

OTTIMO SERVIZIO!

Siamo state benissimo con ogni tipo di comfort. La camera era davvero grande e il bagno all'aperto una piacevolissima chicca. Il cibo era davvero buono e il personale sempre molto attento e cordiale. Comoda anche la posizione vicino alla spiaggia di Jimbaran con navetta gratuita. Ci ritornerei sicuramente!

階段が多くて年寄り連れには不向きと思われる。
ジンバランの海岸からは遠くて眺望も望めない。
スッタッフは親切だが設備の手入れがなされていない。
唯一の救いは隣にあるスーパーの品揃えであった。

いろいろと残念が重なってしまいました。

チェックイン・アウト時の対応がイマイチで総合的に印象が悪くなってしまいました。
従業員同士で喋っていて、お客が来てもやめず、第一印象がとても悪かったです、ウェルカムされてる感がなかった。
アウト時は部屋の確認にとても待たされて、急いでいたのに準備が悪いなあと思ってしまいました。
部屋は、バスルームが半野外、シャワーは完全に屋外で、晴れていれば開放感もありとても素敵なのですが、運悪く雨が降りとても厳しい環境でした・・・・半野外のバスタブにシャワーヘッドもついていたら改善できるのになと残念に思いました。
不運なことに１日中雨が降っていて、残念ながらプールを楽しむことも星空を見ることもかないませんでした。。。その上インルームダイニングを１７時に頼みましたがなぜか１６時にきました、しかもお皿が雨で濡れてしまっていました。
スタンダードな部屋だと背もたれのついたソファはないため、TVを見るのがベッドかベンチになるのですが、TVとの距離がベッドだと遠すぎるし、ベンチだとゆったりくつろげず、部屋にいる時間が長い予定の方はスイート以上にされるのがいいと思います。
また、写真で見ていた窓際のベンチがあるのは２階の部屋だけで、私たちは残念ながら１階でした。
朝食はメニューから1つ選ぶスタイル。可も無く不可もなくな味とサービスです。
歩いて行ける距離にぺピートというスーパーがありますが、それ以外はタクシーでないと散策は難しい立地です。
きっと合わなかったのだと思います、リピートはありません。

とても快適で定宿にしています。スタッフも明るく何より、キビキビ動いてくれます。これは、バリのこのクラスのホテルではレアなこと。お勧めします。
