Amazing relaxing stay

Wonderful stay at Gending Kedis. 3 bed villa was huge with a fantastic pool and the biggest bath we have ever seen. The grounds were beautiful. Although it was fully booked, it never felt too busy in the restaurant or main pool. Staff were excellent, so helpful and friendly. My daughter has a food allergy and the waiting staff and chefs were good about this. Good breakfast and lunch/dinner choices. Easy to get taxis. Loved our pool and the relaxing area by it. Due to heavy traffic in Bali, it still takes at least 30 mins by taxi to Nusa Dua or Dreamland beach but taxis are not expensive and really enjoyed being in the villa with a restaurant on hand for meals in the villa or restaurant.
The master bedroom is upstairs next to the main lounge, 2 other bedrooms are downstairs. We felt more comfortable with our teenage girls sleeping in the main bedroom inside but it took time locking the villa up/ turning individual lights off as could only lock the staircase door from one side. Would be better to have wall switches that could turn on/off all lamps in a room and a lock on the staircase door that could be used both sides but not too much of a problem. Furniture is traditional and a little tired in places, outdoor kitchen was open to the environment so did get visits from bats ( which wasn't a problem and made it fun but the food was great in the restaurant so never cooked. Massage was very nice here, never used the gym. We loved this villa hotel and would love to return here.

Gorgeous spot! The grounds are well-maintained. The staff was fabulous. The villa we stayed in was a bit tired, with warped floors in the kitchen and paint pealing in a few spots.

Our 3 bedroom villa was spacious & a perfect base for our family, with the pool and outdoor lounges a highlight. The rooms are a little musty and rundown - but still great value. The restaurant food was not a highlight. Staff are lovely and very helpful and attentive.

This place is probably the best place I’ve ever stayed and great value for money. The villa was huge with a lovely, secluded pool overlooking the forest. The service from all staff was incredible and the food was also great. I would 100% recommend this place.

The grounds were pretty and well-kept. The house-keeping was regular and restocked everything, also responded to all requests, like spraying for mosquitos and fixing the air conditioner. The bathrooms were outdoors, which made it hot and vulnerable to bug bites. We also saw various animals like geckos and frogs, which were harmless. I didn’t like the toilets: they had a funny smell and they were also outside, so it was hot and sticky. I also didn’t like the floors of the bathroom; they seemed dirty to me. The property provided house slippers and I wore these everywhere.

The villa could use some updating, otherwise it was clean enough, but could be cleaner if you look closely. I did kill a medium-sized roach one evening. Consequently, I put all food, even dry food, in the refrigerator. They provide you with a water cooler, which was nice; it dispensed hot and cold water.

The mattresses, pillows and comforters were very comfortable. The air conditioners worked like a charm. We kept it at 22 degrees Celsius all day long. We didn’t really take advantage of the pool; as hot as it was, the water was a little too cold.

Breakfast was included in the stay. That was the only meal we consistently ate at the property. The staff were lovely! They were the best part of our stay. They property owns its own cars so they can arrange for airport transfers at a lower cost.

The spa was amazing! I went daily. Can’t beat 25USD 60 min massages! They were always very accommodating.

First of all this property is not accessible. Going to n coming from villa was 70 steps n going to restaurant for food was another 20 steps. Which was not mentioned anywhere in booking description. My husband had sore knee and was very difficult for him. Next thing it says villa with garden view, expect villa with jungle view where you hear lots of creepy sounds at night. Not just that there were lots of bugs, worms and lizards in villa. Lizards were up at dining table, rooms and everywhere. Wild frog was stuck up at kids shower. It was horrible for kids. And lightning was so poor n dim. It looks good in pictures but no way near. The odour was so bad in shower and toilet areas like there was open gutter somewhere. You could easily faint with smell. I find it horrible staying two nights. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.

OLD & NOT WORTH THE VALUE

Villa condition very poor. We have 2 family & booked a 4 brm villa. When check in, rooms was very hot like sauna as facing west sun (sunset). Requested for addnl fan, switched on aircon expecting room to be cool when we return from dinner but room was still hot. In addnl, found out that the toilet flush system was not working properly as water keep on flowing out. Called maintenance but after half an hour they left saying that it is ok but within mins of the staff leaving, water again started flowing but it was already midnight and were too tired to call them again. Could not sleep the whole night as can hear water flowing and the fan was noisy. Next day informed staff to rectify these problems & aircon was slightly better. Tap in bathroom was tight and needed strength to turn, bathtub cracked all over. Wooden floor planks in front of room broken/cracked. Only plus point is the big living room and size of villas otherwise it's not worth the value paid. Kitchen sink in living room black and old. On 2nd day, found numerous insects on the sofa chair. Seriously need substantial upgrade/renovation as villa very old, not pictures in website when making booking does not justify.

An absolute slice of heaven away from the busy hussle and bussle. Amazing staff very friendly and helpful and always a smile on their face, resturant on site with great brekfast options and the villa and the private pool was the highlight!!! Stunningg room with amazing views of the green tropical plants and the pool is just perfect. I would stay here with my family again if i came back to Bali. Thanks guys you were amazing

We booked for the hotel to pick us up at the airport, our flight was late but the driver was there with our sign. So incredibly friendly and kind. The staff at the villa were absolutely amazing! Cleaners came everyday and our second to last night they arrived and put petals on our bed and roses on our night stand, swan towels. They are so incredible.

We had the hotel book us a mope head that showed up when we arrived and it was easy and wonderful. It’s the best way to get around Bali once you navigate the packed roads.

Staff always greeted you and any hour, the spa is wonderful as we had many treatments. Breakfast was included and always amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone as the private pool was our own luxury with the option to use the main pool.

The grounds are beautiful and always maintained
And it’s like walking through a different world.

Thank you to every staff member for an incredible stay, we loved it!

Luxury Villas with poor maintenance

The Villas are amazing, large and luxury, very completed with a lot of many different spaces. The private pool is also a plus.
However, maintenance, require to be improved. There were areas looking a bit old.
A lot of insects on the outside bathroom, also received a disgusting visit one night inside our bedroom.

The check in was simple and easy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Most importantly, our villa was amazing! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Rangana villa (which is the one we wanted) and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed the turn down service each night. Breakfast was included and it was average but I won’t complain.

Lovely setting to stay in, very picturesque. Beautiful pool overlooking a forest setting. Many stairs 100+ to our villa meant us utilising in room food service! Secluded location, not much in way of shopping/restaurants in immediate local vacinity to walk to, free shuttle to local areas, found catching taxi back a little difficult on several occasions. Shame some of the decor was a little exhausted, however room was clean. Service and friendliness of staff was outstanding.

The villa is very spacious, particularly the sitting room on the first floor. Private pool is excellent. Water is clean and clear. The natural view of the forest in front of the villa is very soothing. The ambience of the restaurant is excellent and price reasonable. The cons are : shuttle car service only provides drop off at the supermarket in town but does not provide return service, the charge for shuttle car service outside the drop off area is too high. If you live in the one bedroom villa, you have to climb down 81 steps to the villa and climb up 81 steps to go to the lobby. not suitable for people with mobility problem.

The villa was amazing, super private, extremely spacious and overlooking the jungle. Simply fabulous.
The hotel infrastructure is less strong - breakfast and in fact any food was a complete car crash. They opted for table service rather than buffet which meant it took forever and wasted a lot of food. There were piles and piles of cheap white bread and pastries which went to the bin (or someone else's plate???) day after day - I'd never put that much food on a plate at a buffet. Room service food was totally tasteless and cold.
Decent location, although not walking distance from jimbaran, there's a great shuttle service to jimbaran so not an issue.
Staff are extremely helpful and speak good english.
Extremely nice if you avoid the food.

Had a lovely stay at Gending Kedis. We were a family with a 21month old toddler. Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was great. We used the free shuttle service a lot. There are many good restaurants a short drive away, as well as the local beach Pantai Muaya. We stayed in Villa 1, it was huge, good layout, used the pool several times a day. Theres two convenience stores a short stroll down the road. Jimbaran is a great area, not as busy as Seminyak. A good, chilled out alternative if you're looking to try somewhere new. Took us about 20mins to drive to the airport. Would happily stay again

You need to go to his hotel!

Our three days here were amazing. Best experience ever. Staff is super friendly, they will help you with anything. Food at the restaurant is delicious and not very expensive. Breakfast was included and our first morning we decided to have it in the villa instead of going to the restaurant. We called and in less than 30 minutes we had all the fruit, coffee, juice, pastries etc in our villa. The villa is amazing, we got upgraded to a 2 bedrooms villa and it was huge! Kitchen in the first floor, living room and bedroom with exterior shower and bath tube and then the private pool with another living room and kitchen in the lower ground floor with views to the forest. We were very impressed, everything was very clean and in very good condition, pool always clean... We also had massages in their spa and they are pretty good too. Location is good, just 15 minutes walking to the Jimbaran beach which is very long and sunset is a must. We rented a motorbike to explore the area so it was quite easy to move around.100% recommended!

When we arrived, they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom villa. The private pool was very nice, offering great views of the jungle. The villa would be great with a large group of people. The villa was clean, and they had fresh fruit for us in the living room. The only thing we were unaware about was the fact that the washroom was outdoors (both the toilet and the shower), which made us uncomfortable since there are lizards everywhere. The air conditioning worked well. Service at the restaurant was mediocre, as the server forgot to bring our food. Staff was very friendly and we had a great driver take us to Uluwatu and showed us around. Would stay here again with more people next time. The wi-fi was not working when we were there since there was an issue with the system but I believe they were working on getting it fixed.

Breakfast with room booking a total disappointment. There is no buffet service on any of the days. A choice of fixed menu to pick from with very limited choice.

Leaking bathrooms and dripping air conditioners to look out for.

An upgrade was provided to us after the leaking bathrooms(shower cubicle) and water in the bedroom was reported- a big thank you to the reception staff for the nice gesture.

Relax in the privacy of your own private pool

We stayed at a two bedroom unit with a private pool for 5 days. One of the bedrooms is across the pool. The layout and the furnishing of the unit is very comfortable and tasteful. The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed it very much. . We had breakfast at the hotel, included in the room rate, and ordered room service a few rimes. The food was okay and the portions were on the small side.

A great visit to Bali

This was the best villa holiday we had had in Bali.
The staff in all departments were great. Friendly, smiling ,helpful at all times and a real pleasure to be with. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The viilas were spotless, comfortable and quiet.
The food was above average and the Spa services first class.
A great experience and one which we have recommended to our friends and WE WILL BE BACK

Beautiful villa with an amazing private pool

The staff were so friendly there, from reception to restaurant to butler to masseuse. We booked a two-bedroom villa and upon arrival we realized we were upgraded to a beautiful three bedroom villa. It's a two-story villa with the master bedroom upstairs and two guest rooms downstairs. There is also a spacious open kitchen downstairs. Our two kids loved the private pool and could spend the whole day in it! Room service was very considerate. We ordered our breakfast in our villa as the kids did not want to get out of the pool and they sent in someone who set up the table and everything nicely. Their restaurant is pretty good in terms of variety and local foods. In particular, we enjoyed their afternoon snacks so much they were so yummy! They offer drinks and snacks in the afternoon for free and they also delivered evening snacks to our room. We will definitely come back for a longer stay next time!.

A great choice!

We did a lot of research before choosing Gending Kedis and it exceeded all of our expectations. It's in an idyllic setting, a bit removed from the fray but still convenient to beaches, nightlife, etc. in Kuta and Seminyak. The staff were very attentive, kind and gracious. The private pool villas are well laid out and, ours at least (Villa 8 - 3 bedroom), was totally private. We got great value for money, from the nightly rate to the costs of food an beverage. We opted for room service quite a lot and the charges were really reasonable. My family of five was 100% pleased and we'd go back to Bali and Gending Kedis again in a heartbeat! It was a fabulous experience all the way around.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful and would recommend it to others and stay there again. The one-bedroom villa was very spacious, clean, private, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff was very helpful in meeting our needs and arranging cars when we needed to get around. Specific highlights of our time at the hotel include:
-wonderful villa with private pool
-very clean rooms and good housekeeping (pictures do not do the property justice)
-great breakfast with the option to eat in the villa (very large portions)
-the air conditioner worked well
-great location--recommended to visit their Beach Club and spend time on the Jimbaran beach

This is not a five star hotel!

The food was excellent, the staff were nice and accommodating, and we liked the big round bathtub. Everything else was a disappointment. We arrived at the hotel with high expectations and we were very excited, as we had booked 3 nights in a villa with a private pool at a 5 star hotel. The first thing we noticed when we were led in to the villa, was that the pool was very small and the water was dirty. The kitchen wasn't clean and all the wooden floors were scratched. The biggest issue, was the aircondition. All the units must have been old. There were only two speeds, and even at the slowest, the noise was intolerable. Especially so for the aircondition in the master bedroom. We didn't get much sleep. The entire villa looked like it needed a major renovation. Finally, the last night we were there, it started to rain and a terrible sewage smell started to vent in through the aircondition.
This is absolutely not what you'd expect from a high priced, five star hotel.

Amazed by this villa

Me and my husband had a 2N stay in this villa for our honeymoon. This villa is not nearby the airport but we managed to get a private driver to send us there (this driver eventually became our 1 day chauffeur). When we first reached at the reception, we were impressed by their customer service. The staff is friendly, patient and polite in explanation of facilities in their villa and answering all our enquiries.

Plants and flowers are planted around the area, sometimes we can see honey bees buzzing around the flowers, too. It is totally a relaxing surrounding. We took a 5min walk to reach our room. Amazed, amazed, amazed. The villa was extremely spacious and facing one side of the hill. Besides, we can smell fragrance of woods coming from the floor and the furniture. We were welcomed by a fruit platter and few pieces of cakes, and these will be refilled the next day. Again, the hotel staff was very patient in explaining and introducing facilities in the room, as well as how to on the button for the private pool. We suddenly noticed that we have forgotten to bring a universal adapter but the staff offer himself to walk all the way out to the reception to get us one (foc). Thumbs up for the customer service. Much to my surprise the breakfast they served was ala carte and delicious too.

Gonna stop writing as I don't think there is enough space for me to continue writing. Overall it's a great deal, reasonable price with superb service and facilities.

Stayed with my husband on our honeymoon - staff very warm and willing to help when needed. They allowed us our own space which made for a romantic stay. Villa was massive and beautiful! Loved our private pool and bed comfortable.

Pure Luck!! We had originally hoped to stay at the Four Seasons, but because it was full we booked the Gending Kedis instead. We loved it so much we extended our stay an extra week just to continue to enjoy our 3 bedroom villa. The resort was the perfect getaway for which we had hoped.

We had a 4 night stay here as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 13 &9) in September 2015. We had booked a 3-bed villa and were upgraded to the 4-bed villa. The villa is over 3 floors (although we didn't use the 4th bedroom which is on the lower level). The location of the villas is not far from Jimbaran beach and the major resorts, but you do need a taxi or to use the shuttle to get there, it was a little too far to walk with the kids.
Breakfast was included in our rate and there was a choice of eggs, bacon, fruit, yoghurt, bakery basket etc. The villa was huge, gorgeous dark wood and sitting right on the edge of a lovely forest - lots of birds and wildlife (including frogs and geckos). The infinity pool was fabulous, the beds were comfortable & bathrooms well stocked. We had a massage at the spa and while it more expensive than the massages we had in Seminyak earlier in our holiday, it was wonderful! Two of our family members became quite ill for a couple of days and the staff were so helpful and lovely, bringing extra towels etc. We ordered room service a few times for lunch and dinner and the quality of the food was good, and there was a lot of choice (pasta, Asian meals, burgers). The Villa we stayed in (number 6), was not suitable for young children (or perhaps older people) given the stairs and the downstairs bedrooms opening on to the pool. We had a late flight and although we couldn't get a late check-out there is a bathroom with shower you can use.

Not really a 5-star hotel

His hotel tries to be a 5 star, but just doesn't make it. It's more like a 3.5-4 star. It over looks the little things 5 star hotels don't, like the cleanliness, the toiletries (no conditioner), the doors not closing right and the service (like breakfast service) & the lack of a consistent shuttle service (which has no pick up fro the beach. The ground are nice though.

We had a wonderful time here as part of our honeymoon and our only complaint was that we had to leave. The villas are amazing and the staff is incredibly helpful. The only thing I would flag for prospective visitors is that it doesn't have direct beach access but the staff is more than happy to shuttle you to the beach and a cab back was less than 2 usd when we visited.
Would highly recommend.

Expected much much better!! Real shame.

On arriving the villas where beautiful and well kept however this is the only positive point we had.
The 24 hour shuttle service drop off and pick up policy was changed before our arrival but post booking. The hotel in my opinion very devious in changing this and hoping no one would notice (not very well i might add as the promotional material across the hotel still stated a 24 hour shuttle service to the beach). On discussing this with a reception staff she became very argumentative and rude. In my many visits to Bali i have never encountered such rudeness from a staff member certainly not at a proposed 5* villa. Not the balinese way!!
Breakfast was awfull. Cereal served with warm milk and the rice/noodle dish was inedible.
Lounging by the pool you get no service. Nobody asked if I would like a drink, ever.
Spa was very expensive for Bali.
Expected a Butler not sure where he was.
We stayed in Silangjana room 2 villa and on entry there was a strong smell of drains and the huge round bath tub which looked amazing was just a gimic.The boiler couldn't heat up enough water to fill it. This kind of summed up our stay at this hotel. Air con would turn off in the night so wake up hot as hell.
Mosquito everywhere.
I had asked to speak to the manager on 5 occasions to discuss these points but he never showed up.
Bali is full of impressive villas and hotels that are far cheaper and much much better where they actually give you impeccable service and treatment. Thoroughly disappointed

relaxing and joyful stay in beautiful villa estate

had relaxing and wonderful time. got a free upgrade to 3-bed villa, the villa was HUGE, bigger pool than 1-bed villa that we booked. everyday heard the sound of birds, was relaxing. privacy, complementary daily water (bottled and gallon in kitchen) and tea time (treats!), free beach towels... just relax and enjoyed our stay..! food is good too.
however, the toilets were a bit of an issue (couldn't flush well, 1 was 'stuck' for 10minutes), and the bathtubs were HUGE and weren't cleaned (there were bugs in it).
The staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The receptionists would tell us all general estate info, and one of them would tell us info about the villa itself. note that there is (daily) mosquito spraying at the complex offered/serviced by the staff in the evening, they would also make our bed and close the curtains for us, making us feeling very spoiled! Villas were also cleaned/made up daily.

Absolute gem!

From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt at home. Our pre-arranged driver picked us up from the arrivals, brought us to our villa. We were served welcome drinks and our butler brought our bags to our villa. The staff was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. 24 hour room service was a welcomed treat and the private tours of the island were fantastic. The villa is in a central location, next to the four seasons day club and Ayana resort. Great for lounging during the day and late night drinks at Rock Bar. Kuta is a 30 minute cab ride and the beach is a 5 minutes away. A most memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Good condition but they really want to make money

The hotel condition is good. They provide free shuttle bus to Jimbaran beach. We told them to take us there at dinner time, they directly took us to a BBQ restaurant that has some deals with the hotel. The package for 2 persons starts from AUD 80 plus tax, and they said this is a good price bla bla. When we said we would like to walk around and then decide, they appeared to be disappointed. The other side of the beach serves the exactly same menu, starting from AUD 50 plus tax. This really made us uncomfortable.

The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa instead of our 1 bedroom.( But they choose to lock up 2 room )

The villa is huge and friendly staff and they provide free transportation to the jimbarang area which was excellent!
The condition of the rooms however wasn't great(bugs because we are near the nature and alittle dusty), if u love the wooden balinese theme then this is the place to book. But I personally prefer a more contemporary look.

Beautiful experience

We loved our very short stay at Gending Kedis, and would very happily stay again.
Our room and pool were excellent. We slept well, and the shower was the best we'd ever experienced in Bali!
The inclusive breakfast was very generous, and we loved the surprise of a 10 min massage on arrival. The stay also included tea/coffee and cake at 4pm for free.

The location is great. It's very easy to get a taxi or transfer, and is close to the airport.

This property is amazing! So beautiful and peaceful. The staff made our experience beyond expectations as they always went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The food was excellent, the private in villa BBQ was outstanding. The rose pedals and candles surrounding the pool made the experience so special! The availability of a private driver and private tour was perfect! Gending Kedis is a fabulous resort!

Family/friends in a 3br villa

We stayed in a 3br villa for 4 nights. We came from another 5 star resort that we had loved and were a little concerned that being a third of the price, Gending Kedis may not be as good- we were definitely wrong! The minute we walked into our villa we were impressed. The rooms were all much bigger than it seemed in pictures- plenty of room to spread out and comfortably entertain our friends.

The staff were wonderfully attentive and helpful from the reception staff to the housekeeping team that comes in at least twice a day. (Going to miss them now that I'm home!!) The free shuttle route is great, pretty much any type of shops you need, you can be taken to for free. We also had a child with ear infection while staying there and they immediately took us to a medical centre only 5 minutes away, the driver spoke to the doctor to get us seen ahead of others waiting, got medication and we were back relaxing within 30 minutes.

The drivers also are very helpful and even assist with crossing busy roads, and driving right up to where you are going, and holding doors/carrying bags. Also reminding not to forget the card after using the atm- which I almost did because I'm used to it coming out before the cash not after
The breakfasts are awesome

They really do anything they can to make you happy at Gending kedis, and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful, Peaceful Haven

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, the staff were amazing and could not do it enough to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They all made an effort to know our names and our children had such a fabulous time.
Mosquitos are a big problem because of the setting amidst a hill, but that is understandable and not much can be done about that. However, the rooms are sprayed every evening and each room includes a repellant plug in device.
Ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of the Island.

Luxury hotel, great pool and super staff

We went for our first vacation to Bali and had booked in a regular 5 Star property in Nusa Dua but when we checked in there we did not like the place and then found this Gending Kedis by accident. We had a 2 Bedroom Villa which was stunning, spacious with a dedicated pool. It was an amazingly spacious villa with all the luxuries in there. The service that we got was 7 star and especially kudos to Gea and her team at the front desk. The staff was extremely friendly and very responsive. Kudos to the General Manager Mr. Douglas who came in and checked on us at breakfast, gave us tips on sight seeing, shopping and also I left my phone in their drop off vehicle and upon calling he sent their driver back to the airport. That was a lifesaver.
The pool in the room was absolutely divine. Our breakfast was healthy yet had a lot of flavor in it. Just a great, great place for a vacation either if you are on your own or with family.

Nice villa in Jimbaran

This was a lovely three days in a really great place in Jimbaran. If your after a quiet stay in a nice villa with friendly attentive staff then this is for you. the villa we were given was great, much more space than the two of us needed but we throughly enjoyed each part of it including the pool.
Breakfast was always nice and afternoon tea was a nice touch. They provide a complementary shuttle to different parts of Jimbaran, and with taxis so cheap in Bali getting around is easy. The team here are also great and you do feel like you are getting a personal service. Great value given what you get.

We spent 5 nights with my wife, in a 2 bedrooms villa.
The ville that where assigned to us as not cleaned and we suspect that was not rent since months. Over the bed, we could can see spiders, the blankets were not cleans, and we had frog on the bed at midnight.
Although, the staff on the reception do not understand english, my wife asked them if the Gendis had any partnership with prefered beach (sunbeds) on Jumbaran, the three did not understand this basic questions, we were upset from their ´´bizzarz'' responses.
The last day we had the water cutted of in the villa at 11 am for one hour du to 'maintenance''.
Very bad value for money, for the same price you can get better experience and quality services, since it was the fourth Villa we had during our vacation in Bali.

Beautiful large and spacious villas, a lot of details in the design & decor, although a little tired in places light wear and tear and some light maintenance needed mainly in kitchen ) Everything tho was in working order! amazing pools and lush very well cared for grounds and gardens. we traveled in 2 family groups and had booked 2x 2 bed villa but were upgraded for free to 2x 3bed villas just because they were available. 1x 3 bed villa would have easily slept our group of 5 adults 3 kids, and still would have had room to spare!!. not a big complex easy to get around and yet you do not hear/see your neighbours its well layer out. nightly turn down
& mosquito care plus villas fully serviced daily (a very clean resort). Free afternoon tea a nice touch.
Staff are very friendly, polite and very helpful and i believe always tried their best to please, sometimes language differences created minor misunderstandings but thats to be expected, it always got sorted in the end!. I couldn't fault them, shuttle service fantastic and available whenever you want & not just to beach but also local shops, supermarket etc. would have liked to seen management around tho at least once in 12 days to sort some issues out but we looked past it , they were doing their best we loved our holiday here perfect for families and small kids.
Walk to beach not recommended in heat with small kids or the old, Resort at top of a steep hill , free shuttle pickup whenever it suits you.

May be it's time for a major facelift.

I have a group of ten booked into a 4 bedroom villa. First impression was ordinary, narrow and poorly maintained driveway leading to the main entrance. Reception area was small, like a 3 star motel.
My group was mainly elderly people, my villa was located far down at the bottom, too many steps to climb. After entering the villa, there were more steps to reach 3 of the 4 bedrooms. Definitely not good for elderly people.
Breakfast was ordinary. Waiters were not too attentive, taking wrong orders every single day.
Rooms were clean but the showers (in every bathroom) need to be replaced. We just couldn't stop water from splashing everywhere. Aircond was noisy at times.
Hotel provides free shuttle transfer to nearby tourist spots in Jimbaran. Hang on, is this true? I took a shuttle to the Jimbaran Beach for the sunset dinner. The driver stopped half way and demanded money. The rest of my group in another shuttle had the same experience. This is disgusting. Hotel management needs to investigate this matter seriously.
Why did I say \"OK\" overall? Because this place is spacious and quiet. The surroundings was pleasant.
A major upgrade of old and tired facilities, and properly trained staff (waiter, driver) will make the stay a lot more enjoyable.
