Great size room for standard. You get a box back in England for the same price. Huge bed and so comfortable. When I first sat on it I thought the mattress was really firm but because it was memory foam I woke up feeling so fresh every day and my back wasn’t in pain. Same with the pillows. The pillows aren’t wide standard ones so you aren’t so far down the bed. Best sleep we had. Chilled vibes and staff are all so friendly in all departments. I have family from around the area so will definitely stay again. Everything was really clean as well and in working order. The only down side was the car park. I haven’t seen anything so bad before ha! It’s like it’s made for you to scratch your rental car. You can try find parking outside but not guaranteed. Thank you

The rooms and pool area are very nice and very clean. The parking situation is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The COVID restrictions should be improved at breakfast.

Overall the staff teams were friendly and obliging- especially the reception staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Unfortunately, there were issues which we believe made this a 3-star hotel at best:
Many clients disrespected and blatantly breached the hotel's stated policy by leaving their beach towels unattended on sunbeds for hours at a time. The management did not act to enforce their own advertised policy of removing these towels despite our requests when we had nowhere to sit. Reception asked pool staff to provide us with beds but they gave them to other guests who just happened to be near them despite our direct protests. Then by the time they brought out another set for us, there was nowhere to put them! A stressful situation and all because there were so many towels left on unattended beds and management would not follow its policy.
When we arrived for breakfast at the opening time of 8.00 am much of the food was just warm. Scrambled eggs were cold. At one breakfast sitting a staff member was doing her hair in front of the mirrored walls area - very unprofessional.

Playa La Barossa

Very good hotel, rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Generally food is good. The only downside is all rooms have a safe but to use it you have to pay 4.50 euros a day or 16.00 euros a week. Which I think is a liberty why have them??? Quiet a few people carry’s a back pack with them to the pool area with all their valuables. I think this hotel is run by Tui/Thompson Holidays so a lot of people are on package holidays.

Superb hotel, difficult to find fault. Spotlessly clean, great service, good facilities. Only ate in the restaurant once (breakfast) which was terrific. Short walk to the beach and close to shopping centre with shops, bars, restaurants and a small supermarket. The only possible downside is that a large new hotel is being built next to this one and there is construction noise and a reduction in the available free parking. My room was fine as it was opposite the building work but some rooms will be affected by noise at least for a while. But, all in all, very highly recommended.

Food was very poor. Even tried a la carte menu and had to send food back twice. Also hotel not very welcoming for English clients. At any general presentation spoke Spanish which you accepted but then only spoke German. Should also have been made aware of major building works next door which causes us to move rooms. Sancti-Petri itself stunning.

Ok stay

It’s an old hotel which feels like a cruise ship. The room and pool was nice enough. It’s more like a 3star. The food isn’t great and there’s not much open in the town in March. But it was a relaxing stay. Service was good and staff was friendly.

Apathetic staff

On arrival we were told by the very helpful receptionist that it was the day before the seasonal shutdown. Although he was great and changed our room to one with a sea view, the room was not prepared properly. No tea/coffee facilities, mini bar empty, no robes for the spa. The food was average at best with many items on both the lunch and breakfast menus not available. The rest of the staff were indifferent and mostly unhelpful. Not a hotel we'll be rushing back to.

Wunderschönes Strandhotel mit überaus freundlichen und engagierten Mitarbeitern. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer in der 2. Etage mit Meerblick. Im Zimmer und in allen anderen Bereichen des Hotels alles blitzblank sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr vielfältig und geschmacklich gut. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch das Sportangebot - es gab täglich verschiedene Fitness-Kurse zur Auswahl - ein besonderer Dank geht hier an die Trainerin Johanna! Wir haben uns im Playa la Barrosa überaus wohl gefühlt und die sonnige und warme Woche im November sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

Han sido unos días maravillosos de relax. Felicito al personal del hotel por su gran amabilidad. Un par de pegas. La bañera es de un acceso complicado para una persona mayor, debo de decir que no se lo comuniqué anteriormente al hotel, y, las zonas comunes interiores, como el bar, aunque tienen climatización, solo se pone determinadas horas.Los días de calor, solo puedes estar en la habitación para refugiarte del mismo, nos dijeron que estaban programadas las horas de A/A y hacia mucho calor y nos tuvimos que marchar del mismo. Quitando estos puntos, y el primero, es solo para que lo sepan puesto que no dije nada, lo demás perfecto. El comedor si está fresquito tanto para desayuno como para cena. Vuelvo a destacar a todo el personal del hotel.

El hotel fue buenísimo. Al llegar, nos recibieron con una copa de cava. El personal súper amable. La habitación muy cómoda y grande. Las vistas a la piscina y al mar fueron estupendas. Das Büffet wiederholt sich leider nach einer Woche. Die Speisen waren meistens nur lauwarm und verkocht.
Wir waren das vierte Mal in diesem Hotel und sind der Meinung, dass das gesamte Hotel ins Alter gekommen ist und nach und nach renoviert gehört. Dieses Jahr hatte es leider Gäste dabei die spät in der Nacht lauthals auf ihr Zimmer gegangen sind. Schade dass hier vom Hotel nichts dagegen unternommen wurde.

Luxuriöses Massenhotel direkt am Strand

Der Empfang war nur mit 1 Person besetzt und dauerte 30 Minuten, dafüt hat sich die Hoteldirektorin am nächsten Morgen mit einer eisgekühlten Flasche Weisswein entschuldigt. Das Hotel ist luxuriös, elegant, kein Kindergeschrei, schöner Pool und der riesige flache Sandstrand, sehr gepflegt, liegt unmittelbar vor der Anlage. Schönes Zimmer, die teureren mit fantastischer Meersicht, komfortabel, modernes Bad, für uns allerdings zu weiche Betten (man sinkt in die Matratze ein). Das Hotel hat kostenlose Parkplätze und kostenpflichtige Garage. Das Essen am Buffet ist gut und es hat eine riesige Auswahl, guter Sevice. Ein zweites kleines Restaurant am Pool serviert à la carte. Abends gibts für den Durchschnitts-Badegast 2 Stunden musikalische Unterhaltung, ist halt Geschmackssache. Man kann diverse Ausflüge und Aktivitäten buchen. Insgesamt gutes Hotel für den gehobenen Massentouristen an einem fantastischen Sandstrand, die Masse bekommt aber viel Platz, auch am Strand. In all der grosszügigen Anlage störte mich eigentlich nur, dass der üblicherweise in Hotels inbegriffene Zimmersafe hier für € 4.60 pro Tag extra gemietet werden musste! Peinlich für so ein Hotel.

Sehr tolles Hotel

Die vier Sterne sind absolut berechtigt! Sehr gepflegtes Hotel.
Das Personal überall sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Wunderbares Buffet, wer hier nichts findet ist selber schuld.
Schade gibt es immer noch diese Leute, die meinen keinen Liegestuhl zu finden und früh am Morgen die Runde machen um das Badetuch zu legen.

Ubicación fantástica

Muy bien situado en la mejor plaza de Sancti Petri. Desayuno muy bueno y personal muy amable. El problema es aparcar porque el parking estaba completo y las plazas exteriores no llegan ni para el 5% de los huéspedes. Algunos dejaban los coches en los accesos y la puerta del hotel y no podías ni parar para descargar el equipaje.

Vacaciones de lujo

Hotel en un estado impecable, bufet también de calidad, piscina espectacular (la pega es que no han conseguido gestionar las hamacas adecuadamente, la gente las coge a las 9 y se va a la playa y a pesar de que se advierte de ello nadie las retira a los 40 minutos, resultado que no hay nunca hamacas y estan el 90% vacias con toalla y el dueño en la playa), el aparcamiento es la otra pega que se le puede poner

La situacion estupenda enfrente de la playa en primera linea.Solo teniamos desayuno pero el horario de comidas era para estranjeros muy pronto .No habia una cafeteria para cenar aparte del bufet temprano, con lo cual tenias que ir fuera a buscar si querias cenar a una mas nuestra ,pero aparte de esto hotel muy tranquilo y en general nos gusto

Lo mejor del hotel es su ubicación con acceso directo a la playa muy cómodo y la tranquilidad del hotel. Lo peor es que la habitación olía mal, tanto la habitación como las tuberías del baño. No hay servicio de habitaciones. El aparcamiento del hotel es insuficiente para una zona tan concurrida.

Ideal hotel para parejas, adults only

Muy buena experiencia en uno de los pocos hoteles \"adults only\" que existen. El personal muy amable, nos dieron una estupenda habitación con vistas a la piscina y al mar, muy tranquilo.
Habitación amplia aunque con muy pocos amenities para un hotel de 4 estrellas.
El desayuno bastante completo y buena calidad. El resto de restauración no la disfrutamos esta vez, un poco caro y cerca hay centro comercial abierto en Sancti Petri.
La zona de spa tranquila y de acceso a los clientes del hotel. Acceso directo a la playa desde el hotel.
El primer día estaban de reformas en el parking y no pudimos aparcar allí pero ya al siguiente día estaba arreglado.

Dentro del mismo resort estaban en obras.no habian avisado previamente en la reserva de dicho problema.
En la mañana del domingo nos despertaron a las 8:00 con ruidos de maquinaria y obreros.
La habitación olía a humedad....
El trato del personal de limpieza... buffet y playa magnifico. Muy amables y respetuosos.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage; sehr freundlicher und charmanter Service an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr gross, geschmacklich und qualitativ meist gut, teilweise wirkt es nach \"Masse statt Klasse\".
Sehr ärgerlich war, dass weder auf der Hotelhomepage noch auf der Veranstalterseite auf die benachbarte Grossbaustelle hingewiesen wurde; Baufahrzeuge waren bei geöffneter Zimmertür hörbar; am Strand (wo Liegen und Schirm extra gezahlt werden mussten!) waren die Baufahrzeuge sehr störend; schade. An der Rezeption zeigte man zwar Verständnis, aber wenig Kulanz.

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit dans l'hôtel, durant notre voyage en Andalousie. Nous étions avec un couple d'amis. De l'avis général, tout était parfait. L'accueil très sympathique, les chambres propres, nous avons mangé dans le restaurant à la carte et le repas était excellent.
Nous pouvons imaginer passer une semaine à votre hôtel si l'occasion se présente.
Nous voulions recommander votre hôtel à notre fille, son mari et leur bébé.
Malheureusement, il semble que votre hôtel soit réservé aux adultes. C'est l'unique bémol que nous formulons.

Ante todo y en mayúsculas me gustaría remarcar todo el trabajo del personal de este maravilloso hotel. No es barato, pero sabes por lo que estás pagando: todo el servicio es exquisito y de altísima calidad. Quería hacer una especial mención al trabajo que realizan Luisa de recepción (todo paciencia, amabilidad y profesionalidad), el personal del lobby bar, el Maitre y los camareros del pool bar, la simpatía de la recepcionista del spa y por supuesto la rapidez y eficacia de los camareros del servicio de desayuno. El servicio de limpieza formidable. Las habitaciones amplias y modernas. El desayuno buffet mas completo imposible.
La energía que desprende este hotel es todo paz y armonía. Todo dispone al relax y a disfrutar de unos días de vacaciones. En primerísima línea de playa. Ojo, solo para ADULTOS! Súper recomendable y volveremos segurísimo! Mil gracias a la dirección del hotel por hacer un trabajo formidable y tener un equipo tan profesional.
