It’s a fantastic destination, especially the beach. Amazing views and really clean waters. No litter, no seaweed, just small sand and crystal clear water. The people at the hotel are amazing and so are the Guests staying there.

Solo female traveller who stayed here in April '23. The place was perfect and better than I'd imagined. Big room with great balcony. Multiple places to roam and hang out - I personally went from pool to pool bar to beach to gym to buffet. ;) The staff were amazing - whether they were cleaners, servers, cooks, front desk, spa, lifeguards. Everyone was approachable and relaxed and warm and friendly. I loved the variety at the buffet and the quality of the food so much that I sent a video back home to friends to brag. The beach in front of the hotel is great. Whereas some hotels further down the strip can't see the waves from their beach loungers, at this hotel, you can sit in your lounge chair on the beach and look directly at the waves and walk straight in to the water. If you're questioning going, just do it! There's a reason this hotel is rated so highly. Bravo to the team!

I made a reservation at this property and then try to cancel it 10 hours later a week before I travel. They would not refund my money. I would never stay in one of the hotels again. I spent two hours on the phone trying to get a refund and even called their headquarters, a total of six calls.

Perfect seaside break

I was melting in Sevilla and decided to take a one day break to cool down and I am thrilled that I did.
The hotel rooms and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the photos posted here do not do it justice, where every detail is thought about.The hotel obviously takes pride in it's beauty!

The room is comfy and the bathroom was nicely updated. Almost a shame to spend so little time in it.

The breakfast buffet was a huge hit, with so much choice and a lot of items cooked to order. It made me wish I had added dinner!

Another nice touch is their focus on helping the environment, where there is information in the room on what they have replaced/removed (especially single use plastics) to be more environmentally friendly.

Only negative - wish we stayed longer and I had to extracted from the loungers by friends.

We stayed here for a week at the end of March to tour the area and to take some tennis coaching lessons at the nearby courts. The hotel facilities and buffets were excellent, staff were friendly too. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Location was great to visit Cadiz, Jerez, Seville, Ronda, and Gibraltar.
Tennis lessons were great with Matchpoint.

Perfect stay, you cannot ask for more.

The absolute best hotel experience we ever had. We stayed here for one night only, on our wedding anniversary. I let hotel know about it in advance, we got room upgrade when arriving (incredible corner priority view room) and also a nice surprise in the room when we returned from dinner. Excellent service, excellent dinner and breakfast, true 5 star hotel. Plus the amazing beach and blue Ocean water, all perfect!

Would love to visit again- in the sunshine!

A fantastic few days due entirely to the hotel and it's amazing staff. The weather was dreadful - rain much of the time and although our stay was all about the beach and the pool we still had a good time.
We had to drive from Gibraltar - why don't British tour companies visit this part of Spain?

Didnt have to go out to hear cabaret in evening. could sit on balcony to watch and enjoy. Spacious downstairs lounge and bar to relax and chill out. Quality food. Beautiful golden sands and dunes on vast beach.

overall a good experience,good food polite helpful staff,clean rooms - downside people smoking poolside (i am a smoker) not very very nice when you lying on a sunbeds getting a big waft of smoke although signs up to indicate no towels to be left on the unattended sunbeds for extended periods of time, this appears to go on by the pool staff who do nothing to remove them.

The hotel, overall, was quite nice. You can tell that it's an aging property, but, in general, it is kept up well. It's pricey, but that shouldn't come as a surprise, given where you are. The spa is lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our couples' massage there. The food and service were good. One issue that I have is that they charge for literally everything. You even have to get special dispensation from the front desk to use the safe in the room. I was rather surprised by that. Also, be aware that (at least in mid May), the average age of the clientele is 60+. That's the AVERAGE age. This was fine for my husband and me, as we're rather quiet people. But we learned - after our arrival - that there's only one bar open (in the hotel lobby) during this time period. Not sure when they open up the rest, but if you're looking for a party scene, this may not be the place for you.

I cannot praise the Iberostar Andalucia Playa enough! Absolute luxury. The food was the best we have ever had and im sure i have put on at least a stone! Everyone was catered for. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful and had it been warm enough we would have loved to have gone in the pool.The room was lovely, and clean and big with plenty of hanging space and storage. Only one thing, the beds could have been more comfortable but once i had been given extra pillows, wasnt too bad. We did have a lot of trouble finding the place as Chiclana isnt on any signs until you are on top of it and then many roundabouts later to the actual hotel! Would recommend this to anyone!

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the Iberostar. Right from the complimentary orange juice at reception, through to the excellent meals in the restaurant. We could not complain about the price either.

The TV in the room didn't work, to be fair if we had said something I'm sure it would have been sorted but there was so much else to do we didn't really notice it.

We paid extra for a sea view room rather than a side sea view room but were told that we had to pay again to upgrade again for a full sea view. Also the room description said there were jetted bath tubs but there were not. All in all the hotel was fantastic and the food was great despite my dissapointment over the room.

Don't pay extra for a sea view because you will only get a side sea view

WE went half board ( v unsual for us ) but delighted we did - Food was quite simply superb in terms of quality and choice.

Worth paying a little extra for a view of the beach. Only disappointment was the steep charge for wi-fi. AND - warning -breakfast on Sunday finishes at 1030am!! Also, watch out - there ain't much room to park your car for miles - so u might have to pay extra for the basement....

Experiencia fantástica como siempre,llevamos años yendo a este hotel.La comida,el personal que nos tratan genial y con una sonrisa.
La única pega es que había un fallo en el motor de la piscina climatizada y el agua estaba fría en cambio nos dieron una habitación superior con piscina privada(aunque el tiempo no acompañó pero se agradece el detalle)
También nos facilitaron un tarta y vela para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi marido así que repetiremos.

El hotel y su ubicación maravillosa , el trato muy agradable y profesional, En general todo bastante bien ! Teníamos una suite y nos invitaron a una botella de cava ! La verdad solo fallo la limpieza no fue muy satisfactoria y luego que para ser una suite de un hotel 5*carecía de servicios más exclusivos ( como los de higiene). Solo estos dos puntos que se pueden mejorar . Desayuno maravilloso! Su restaurante cataria fabuloso !

Nous avions réservé une chambre vue sur mer (pour éviter une vue latérale). Quelle ne fut pas notre déception en voyant les balcons de l'hôtel voisin et l'océan seulement en se penchant et au loin!
Et torticolis garantis...
Les moustiques et autres lézards ont fait le reste.
Petit déjeuner gargantuesque mais pas de bonne qualité dans une ambiance cafétéria très bruyant et pas toujours propre.
Pour sortir de cette enclave de la Barrosa, Cadiz est à 45 minutes en voiture.
Une fois installés, difficile de bouger ou alors il faudra prendre une excursion proposée par l'hôtel au prix fort.
Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Muy bien, mejorando unos aspectos sería de 10

Lo resumo por puntos:
- Ubicación: excelente. Se ve el mar y está a un pasito, realmente precioso y muy cómodo. (5/5)
- Diseño y cuidado: la piscina es preciosa, y el estado del hotel perfecto, todo bien. (5/5)
- Amabilidad: todo el mundo muy bien, nada negativo que decir, majos sin agobiar (5/5)
- Habitaciones: perfectamente arreglada, buen servicio, pero desafortunadamente el colchón estaba ya muy \"usado\" y se hundía y no daba el confort deseado. Igualmente la habitación requiere modificar el baño para cambiar bañeras por duchas, no tienen sentido las bañeras a día de hoy con la escasez de agua y cuando hay Spa y piscina. (3/5)
- Desayuno: buffet muy bien, el sitio genial y la presentación muy bien. Lo peor para mi es que no exista la opción de alojamiento sin desayuno, no nos gusta desayunar mucho y cuando vas a un buffet terminas picando de todo (4/5)
- Comida en el local: algún plato fallido, como el cazón en adobo, que no sabía adobo y el cazón estaba muy seco (3/5)
- Comida en el chiringuito de playa: decepcionante, no se puede dar una comida tan mala al precio que se cobra. Mal preparada, muy salada, mal frita. Realmente a mal nivel (1/5)
- SPA: pudimos disfrutarlo y ha sido muy agradable. Muy limpio, amplio, perfectamente cuidado, gran atención, MARAVILLOSO (4/5).

En conclusión: después de una estancia de 10 noches, mi puntuación es un 4/5. No le doy un 5 ni un 4.5 por: el estado de los colchones, chiringuito de mar y falta de detalle al check out.

En general todo positivo. Un único inconveniente que solucionaron rápido cambiándonos de habitación.
En un hotel de 5 estrellas tendrían que mirar cómo solucionar que los olores de las brasas procedentes de las cocinas no suban a la habitación

Tout était très bien,surtout les repas,nous étions en demi pension et la qualité était au rendez-vous,pour l’instant le meilleur de Sancti Petri sur 5 hotels testés
Le point désagréable est le retrait des matelas sur les transats autour de la piscine (fausse excuse de covid puisqu’il y a des coussins sur toutes les chaises)
Dommage donc c’était vraiment un plus de confort et d’elegance
L’hôtel est face à la plage magnifique de la Barrosa et très proche du petit centre commercial ou l’on trouve de jolies boutiques et restaurants
Les chambres sont claires et spacieuses, en très bon état ,mais mériteraient une modernisation tout comme le mobilier du grand hall d’entrée
Mais venez et tout comme nous profitez de ce bel hôtel.

J’ai adoré l’hôtel. Le service était exceptionnel et le buffet aussi. L’hôtel est magnifique et les chambres sont simples mais très confortables! Nous étions hors saison alors nous n’avons pas pu tout essayer mais je reviendrais!

Seul bémol: le restaurant à la carte pour le dîner, beaucoup de friture, un peu lourd.

Detta var ett mycket bra hotell väl värt fem stjärnor. Personalen var ovanligt alert och trevlig. Maten var toppen. Trevlig kvällsunderhållning. Trevliga lokaler och bra utomhusmiljö.
En jättestor pool vilket jag personligen inte gillar men det är bara att titta på bilderna så ser man hur den ser ut.
Rummen var dock inte femstjärniga. Fin balkong men duschen var i ett badkar vilket inte är så trevligt när man kommit upp i åren och är lite rädd för att halka.

First class Hotel: Gourmet- und Strandluxus pur

Der Aufenthalt war zu unser vollen Zufriedenheit. Ein erstklassiges Hotel an einem der schönsten Strände (Barrosa) Europas. Erstklassiger Service und Mahlzeiten (Frühstück, Abendessen) die kaum zu überbieten sein dürften. Im Vordergrund eine riesige Auswahl mit deutlichem Schwerpunkt auf der regionalen, andalusischen Küche. Eine wunderbare Gourmet Reise in die Region Spaniens. Die Zimmer groß und geräumig, schön eingerichtet. Unterschiedliche Ausrichtungen mit mehr oder weniger Meerblick. Wir haben beim Essen jedesmal draussen gesessen. Der Innenbereich des Hauptrestaurants hat uns nicht gefallen, zu laut, hektisch. Was den Pool angeht, ist dieser sehr groß - was allerdings zu lasten de Fläche für die Liegestühle geht. Relaxen unter Palmen geht nicht. Die Sonnenschirme müssen da Ersatz leisten, sind aber ausreichend (je 2 Liegen) verfügbar. Strandrestaurant uns -liegen gehen extra. Jeden Abend Live-Musik und sehr ruhiger, angenehmer Barbetrieb. Im direkten Umkreis keine anderen Möglichkeiten (hierzu braucht man ein Auto / Taxi)

Ingesamt ein kaum zu toppender Aufenthalt, bei dem Strandspaziergänge und kulinarische Genüsse die absoluten Highlights sind.

Maravillosa estancia.

Fantástico hotel en el que hemos pasado una estancia maravillosa.
Todo ha estado a la altura de lo esperado e incluso más. La ubicación, las piscinas, la habitación, los desayunos y destacar la amabilidad y el saber estar de su personal que ha estado encantador sobre todo con nuestra pequeña de cuatro años.
Gracias, estamos deseando volver.
