Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. The location, the friendly staff, the restaurant, the breakfast room and the roof terrace. All areas were very clean and all staff we met were so pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

These rooms are a mashup between 60s college dorms & a monastery.

Pictures on site do not accurately represent the rooms. Very dated, uncomfortable bed & blankets. Thermostat did not work, room was very hot. Blow dryer also didn’t work, shower was super small.

We chose this spot to be close to tour the Vatican the next day. However, the hotel itself looks like a mini church, overly religious theme.

Area just outside felt unsafe & sadly there were many many unhoused individuals all over the place.

Staff at terrace bar were rude. Hotel uses pretty pictures of the terrace & view of Vatican to deflect from the poor/old condition of the hotel.

Best location ever, just outside St. Peter’s square. Staff is excellent. Breakfast is one of the best and cappuccino made for you is even better than any restaurants I’ve tried. Definitely coming back when I’m in Rome! Glad my wife found this!

The hotel is in a prime location to visit the Vatican. It also has an amazing breakfast in a beautiful room upstairs, plus a terrace bar that rivals none for the views. However, it needs updating. The water pressure in the shower is limited. The beds are not comfortable and options to charge devices are few and far between. You need to ring to gain access to the actual hotel which is a good security feature but the carpeting in the way upstairs needs serious attention

Amazing setting and value

This place has an amazing Terrace view of Saint Peters. Nice place to relax in the afternoon after sightseeing, very friendly staff, and they speak English. The restaurant is very good with classic Roman recipes, no need to search on the street and eat at touristy ripoff places. Great for families, gatherings or couples. I was shocked at the value. Can’t wait to try the included breakfast buffet tomorrow.

We did enjoy the proximity of the Hotel to St Peter’s Basilica. We like the friendliness of staff specially Fabio at the registeation and Jamaica at the breakfast area. However the person you did helped us in our special Anniversary dinner has poor service, our food was served late and not in good condition:( and he is not very friendly at all.

Excellent hotel- will stay again!

Amazing stay! Excellent, friendly staff. Location was perfect and right next to St. Peter's square. So easy to walk to all over Rome. The room we stayed in was a little tight but very manageable. I would suggest bringing a noise maker or ear plugs bc the streets were pretty active at night.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Venice if you want to be away from the crowds! The staff were amazing especially Marco and Vincent at the bar!! My only recommendation for the property manager would be to upgrade the pillows as they were really flat and uncomfortable.

The rooms were too tiny. It also is a religious hotel with framed photos of popes in lobby and rooms. Nothing against this just wish they would advertise this on website. Breakfast was quite good and staff helpful. It just felt like the room was more a confessional than a getaway.

We loved our stay! It is quiet and so close to the Vatican. Terrace views are incredible! Breakfast is very good! They offer American style coffee in a pot to pour! We had a diner at their restaurant. The food is well made and delicious.

The property is located perfectly across the street from the Vatican. We could hear the beautiful bells ringing. Our room has a beautiful view of the Vatican and the building that the Pope says prayers from on Sundays. This isn’t an extravagant hotel but it is comfortable and clean. Our room was a double suite and I wouldn’t recommend anything other than that.

This place is so nice! A simple hotel but very clean and comfortable. Staff is amazing. It feels like you are visiting family in the interior. The views from the terrace are incredible. Just wish the restaurant offered more meals at night not just drinks. Best part, it is across from St Peter'square! All you do is cross the street and you are right there! That was extremely convenient to wake up early go to mass and the pope audience. I will definitely be back! It also has elevators!

AMAZING if you’re coming to Rome for a Catholic experience! We were able to hear the Pope’s Wednesday audience from the terrace, and because of the distance from the Vatican, we were able to get into St Peter’s early and skip the line without tickets (if you get in line around 6:45, you’ll be in St. Peter’s by 7 and it’ll basically be empty besides private Masses). Both shops surrounding the hotel are so cute, the breakfast was perfect, and the staff were so friendly!! Would come back to Rome just to stay here

It's only across the street from the St. Peters square. I forgot my plug adapter, and they loaned me one, so I could keep all my devices charged during my stay. In the evening, I was able to sit on the Residenza's terrace and just enjoy the view over tea. It felt magical. Only drawback was sirens when emergency vehicles wisked by outside.

Passable accommodations, but a terrible value

This hotel’s location is incredible, but that’s where the positive attributes end. If I’m paying USD$600 per night, I expect a luxury hotel with good service.

Here, the WiFi cut out and was not fixed for more than a day, the beds are uncomfortable, the air conditioning is weak, the concierge is minimally helpful at best, there was no way to borrow wine glasses from the bar, and the restaurant/terrace served what turned out to be the worst food we ate over the course of our 10 days trip.

I would have been a happy customer had the rooms here costed half as much or less, but for the price point this hotel was a severe disappointment.

This property was in a great location. Staff were nice but the rooms were horrible. No AC/No Wifi except in lobby/No hot showers. The rooms extremely dated and bland. It has so much potential but it is really tired looking. The worst thing about the rooms is the smell. Extremely stuffy and smells like an old drinking hall mixed with urine. We actually had to go and buy air freshener for our room, it was that bad. Also no views out of hotel room unless your about 6”6 as windows are super high. The hotel terrace though is stunning.

The location across from St Peter's is awe-inviting. The staff and room were great. Only two picky issues:
1) The breakfast was a disappointment. Nowhere near what we enjoyed in a much less expensive hotel in Florence.
2) The lights were out in our hallway for 2 days. Not sure what the issue was, but a bit dangerous.

Stay away from this hotel!

Be warned that there is NO parking available (even though it says on hotels.com that they have a parking garage on-site). Be warned that although the hotel may be available by phone 24/7, they will NOT answer despite calling repeatedly for 3 hours straight. Also be warned that due to the location of this hotel, you may not get access to it AT ALL if there is something going on at the Vatican. I was not able to even check in and had to go somewhere else.

The location was amazing, the view from the roof top bar was the best part. Staff was friendly, spoke English as I am not bi-lingual that was great. We were close to everything we wanted to walk to and could catch the \"on-off\" bus not too far from the hotel. Take some snacks or drinks to put in your room. Store below the hotel is great for gifts.

I was super disappointed in this stay. You had to buzz yourself into the elevator and the help was VERY slow in responding. Even other guests were unhappy with this feature. Our room was a joke! So small. See picture. The front desk help gave wrong information about time for breakfast. The wait staff in the restaurant was SUPER!! We wanted to change a large Euro bill into some smaller ones to go shopping and this was not available. Very helpful in getting us transfers from airport to hotel and hotel to cruise line.

Location location location!
