Special thanks to Osman at reception who was very helpful and friendly (as were most of the staff).
Good value considering the price, but some sunloungers were in desperate need of repair and very few lights were working outdoors at night ( quite dangerous in places). Poolside drinks were served in the flimsiest plastic cups (cardboard would be better for environment, and stronger). I noticed a few staff on their phones which isn't very professional. Food generally good, but a little more variety would be better. Nice concept having both a chillout pool and a fun/ play pool. Great location, close to beach and restaurants.
Good value, but please drop the 5 Star rating claim. It's an average 4 at best in my opinion.

While our stay on second day our room didn’t get cleaned , on our request they cleaned our room but didn’t provide us towels , when inquired we got to know hotel was short of towels and there was no room service manager available to talk to . Unfortunately, I just checked in and out of the hotel because of the terrible and unsanitary conditions in the room. There was a terrible and unbearable smell in the room. The staff was rude and unwelcoming, leaving us no option but to leave the hotel and find a different accommodation in Bodrum.

I and my wife requested to be relieved of any payment for the reservation in order to be able to pay the substituting accommodation, but the hotel manager was rude in his refusal. We will demand our money back and conflict resolution under hotels.com mediation.

The overall property was below average. The room was old and broken down, the faucet was broken and shower didnt work properly. The blow dryer was 1960's! The tilea in room were broken and the TV didnt work. Pools were okay and the food was straight out terrible!!! We stayed out all day and made the best of our stat by eating out. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good thing about it was how close it was to city center.

This trip was such a disapointment.İ have been to this hotel twice now,and will not be going back.The first time was very good,this trip was awful.The room was way below standard,Room key would not work,Electric kept going off,Room floors where held in place with tape,when i complained,the front desk were very slow to answer.I asked for a room change,to be told,these are the rooms you get for that price.

The hotel was very clean, walking distance from the main shoping centre and the beach. Staff was very helpfull especially at reception.
Room was good with balcony and a decent size. Room service was great aswell.Paulina was very helpful and polite, She kept our room clean and tidy.

Swimming pool was clean, seen staff cleaning the area every evening. Food at the hotel was great.resturant were very helpful and professional.
The deco of the hotel was good for the price. Well will recomend that anytime

Hotel is close to the city centre, marina & beach

Hotel and facilities are nice, staff in need of hospitality management, need to carryout checklist prior to check in to ensure meet international standards i.e. safe, phone and wifi not working, no bathtub, and food sub standard and repatative, definitely not five star as rated. I'm sure other guests have made same comments based on reviews these are the areas of improvement for me to make guest recommendation.

Great value for money. There was a wide range of Turkish and International Travellers across the age spectrum. The all inclusive deal is really good value for money. Great location, easy walking to the habour. The delux rooms a little more expensive, but really worth it. The evening bar is extremely noisy and it would be impossible to sleep if you had a cheaper room close to the bar. So definitely pay a little bit more for the delux rooms. Bodrum is a great city, highly recommend it.

No one really sits at the reception or even if they sits they wont respond to your call from room.
Everything was going okay untill this happened. In my 2 nights stay i tried to contact at the reception like for 5 6 times but everytime the phone gave busy tone. Same thing at the laundry number aswell. And when i went down, there was no one sitting at the reception.

Other than this issue, it was a satisfied overall stay cause of the hotel location.

Good central all inclusive hotel in Bodrum

As I stayed in this hotel previously on several occasions, I always find it as a good place for a short stay due to proximity to ferry port and the main bus station. There are far better all inclusive hotels around in similar price range. however, this one is nearest to all amenities and bar street. Leadership of management and staff could be better. Food is good, yet you getting better in vogue, wow or similar.

WRONG CHOICE!

NO NO NO! It is listed as a \"5star\" hotel on expedia, but it's NOT! The building is very old, the rooms are tiny, dirty and in a bad condition!

The room walls and the door are 100% opposite of you call \"soundproof\". Because of the noise made by drunk men my baby wake up multiple times in the night.

Besides, I have never seen more ignorant and arrogant staff than Mandarin's in my life! They treat their customers like \"you paid and you chose this shi*tty hotel, so just deal with it!\".

On the very first dat I went to the reception desk and requested a room where the AC does not LEAK WATER DROPS onto the floor! Not only me, I saw at least three more customers asking the same thing. And the response was like \"There's nothing we can do\" (not even \"sorry to hear that\"???).

Oh about the restaurant? It is FULL of FLIES! Also, one day while waiting on the line for food at the outside restaurant, I saw some tree leaf drop in the meal. I called the chef and told him about it. His answer was \"So what should we do? Cut down the trees around the restaurant?\" (FYI, tree leaves may carry a lot of bacteria on them, very dangerous, Google it!)

Overall, just pick another hotel.

Decent hotel, close to seashore.

Decent hotel, 10 min walk to the sea and seaside shopping and restaurants. Good size room, fair swimming pool. I bought breakfast only, not a full pension, breakfast was good for my simple tastes. Make sure not to flood your room, floor in the shower room is elevated and there is no curtain. In short, enough comfort for what I have paid. Workers have limited English.

This is not a 5 star hotel. our first room we where given was grotty and not very clean, we asked for a move to another room which we were given this was far better than the first one although the cleaning staff must have had a bad day. under our bed their was a used dirty slipper and attention to detail cleaning could have been better.our shower tray leaked so much we had to put towel`s on the floor this should have been reported by the cleaner it was that obvious.the food was OK but on many occasions was only warm. apart from this we had a good stay in this hotel.perhaps the management should re look at the disco arrangement and all inclusive bar times 12pm would be a far closing time and they should not forget we are their customers and on holiday`s to be enjoyed we will stay here again to see if anything has changed.

Terrible hotel, avoid at all costs.

I have recently returned from an 8 night stay at this hotel. First of all it is important that you understand that this IS NOT a 5 star hotel.

I will start with the one positive, location. 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Bodrum harbour with its shops and restaurants.

This is an all inclusive hotel in name only however. The food can be described as average at best, in fact I only ate there for 3 nights before deciding to eat in the Bodrum town. The dining room is like a builders cafe, a truly horrible place to eat in that is full of flies. The outside court yard is little better.

The drinks on offer at the hotel really amount to Efes, which doesn't taste anything like the Efes you buy in the bar. The wine tasted like vinegar and only one bar served bottled water, the rest of the time you had to use water machines. This is the only time I have stayed in an all inclusive in Turkey and not been able to help myself to bottled water (taking into account you obviously can't drink the tap water).

The internet connection is temperamental at best and very slow there is zero entertainment in the evenings, The room was falling apart (4 shelves in the bathroom were all broken) and most the light bulbs had blown. The swimming pool with the slides was filthy (couldn't see the bottom) and the other pool had a jacuzzi which only worked for 1 day we were there. Also if you want a sun bed you better get up early to reserve one.

Please heed my advise and AVOID.

In a good location close and walking distance to the centre of Bodrum with a pretty garden and pool, clean and spacious rooms, polite and helpful staff and a wide choice at breakfast. Very good value too in March as off season. Only issue was very late one night (2am) there was a lot of noise for some considerable time in the corridor outside by two inconsiderate guests walking up and down and talking in very loud voices, would have good if hotel staff could have seen to this. Despite this, I would recommend this hotel.

Great holiday at Mandarin resort

Had a fantastic break at the Mandarin Resort, Bodrum. A lovely clean hotel with modern rooms and good facilities. The staff were very helpful when needed especially reception where any queries were dealt with quickly and politely and Ahmet who is the waiter in the a la carte restaurant and Tikky bar who took the time to speak to everyone and was great fun. The animation team worked hard to include people in their programme but also found time to chat with those preferring to laze by the pool. The only reason I have marked the rooms down slightly was due to clumps of hair in the bath plug hole on arrival and quite a bit of black mould around the bath, otherwise the best standard I've ever had in Turkey. Lovely fresh food at mealtimes with the only downside being a slight wait for food being freshly cooked in front of you. If you're looking for a full English breakfast you'll be a bit disappointed but what is on offer is great, huge variety to choose from. If you're thinking of booking here then pay the extra for all-inclusive, it's well worth the money. Would definitely recommend and will probably book again.

Very mixed feelings after that stay.
House keeping forgot to clean room three times, and forgot some things some other times. The place is a bit worn down, gym is extremely small, shop is more like a sales place just for a few things, noise travels through walls too easily, some food is not refilled and food decreased last week of the two weeks.
On the other hand the location is great with a few hundred meters to beach and city life, pool area is ok and the young boy staff (plus one girl) are very friendly and helpful.

Aucune propreté, chambre pas nettoyée correctement. Autour de là piscine c’est la même chose sale, j’ai déjà beaucoup voyagé mais j’en ai jamais eu le cas d’avoir autant été déçu de mes vacances! Il manque également un garde dans l’hôtel pour remettre un peu l’ordre et tenir l’ordre le soir! Des jeunes boivent non stop le soir à la piscine et fume des joints ! Un matin nous nous sommes levés et une table en verre était éclaté le long de là piscine! Aucun sauveteur autour des piscines ça aussi ça manque … des jeunes qui prennent leur cigarettes dans l’eau ! Concernant la nourriture, même un hôtel formule 1 à plus de choix ! Clairement ça ne vaux pas du tout un 5 étoiles!!!!!

Standort ist super. Man ist innerhalb weniger Gehminuten mitten im Geschehen.
Das Essen war immer lecker und es gab viel Auswahl.

Katastrophal ist jedoch die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel. In den Zimmern herrscht ein dumpf-feuchter Gestank. Die Reinigungskräfte hinterlassen mehr Dreck als vor dem Reinigen. Fenster und Balkone werden augenscheinlich überhaupt nicht gereinigt. Die Badezimmer sind teilweise wirklich ekelhaft. Wir hatten noch Urinflecken vom vorherigen Urlauber auf dem Boden. Am 3. Tag (tägliche \"Reinigung\") bin ich mit einem feuchten Handtuch drüber gegangen und weg waren die Flecken. So wird hier also \"gereinigt\".
Die Klobürste war so versifft, da musste ich mir eine eigene kaufen.

Die Mitarbeiter sind herausragend. Alle waren sehr nett und bemüht. Selten so ein freundliches Team erlebt, die einem fast die Wünsche von den Augen ablesen.

Werde dieses Hotel aber trotzdem meiden, der Hygiene wegen.

Wird niemanden empfehlen

Als wir in Zimmer gegangen, lief keine Wasser,
Kam jemand und hat paar Anrufe betätigt und lief Wasser aber nur kalt😡
Nach weitere Telefonat mit der Rezeption kommt wieder jemand und endlich mal lief lauwarmes Wasser.
Ganze Tag bis spät Nachmittag wird in Hotel renoviert und laute Geräte eingesetzt keine Sekunde Ruhe.
Nach einer Nacht haben wir Ausgecheckt und Abend Richtung Istanbul gefahren obwohl wir wollten am nächsten Tag losfahren.
Sehr schlechte Erfahrung.
Das ist nicht mal 2 Sterne Hotel!

Hotellet hevder å være 5- stjerners. De burde fjernet to stjerner, for standarden tilsier ikke mer enn tre stjerner. Jeg er ofte i Bodrum, men kommer aldri til å velge dette hotellet igjen. Renhold var dårlig, og stolene på den bittelille balkongen var så vaklevorne at jeg turde ikke å sitte i dem.

Dikkat cok batik ve berbat bir otel

Hayatimizda böyle kötü ve batik bir Otel görmedik.
Her yer pis, kirik dökük ve batikt. Bu otel cok acil bir sekilde kapatilmali. Hastalik bulmamak mümkün degil. Yemekler berbat, havuzlar cok batik. Hamburgeri mikrofalgada isitiliyor ve mutfagin kirliliginden bahsetmiyorum Bile! Yemeklerin Tadi kötüydü. Cocuk havuzunda plastik parcalari yüzüyordu, havuzun etrafinda ve icindeki kapakalar eksikti, cocuklar icine kolaylikla düsebilir. Odalar kokuyordu, dus kirikdi ve duskafasi yemyesil olmustu. asansör ter kokusundan kulanilacak gibi degil. Odalarda karincalar yuva yapmis. Bebek yataklarinda kahve rengi lekeler mevcuttu ve hic rahat degildi. hic kimse sorumlulu üsütüne almiyor, ve yardim etmiyor. Biz ayni gün otelden ciktik ve paramizi zorla da olsa geri aldik. Fazla lafa gerek yok fotoraflara bakin.

Si nous insistions pas, le ménage n’était clairement pas effectué notamment le sol et la salle de bain. Le réapprovisionnement de serviettes propres était très souvent oublié, nous devions constamment rappeler la réception pour que cela soit fait.

A FUIR !!!!

Nous regrettons totalement notre choix d'hôtel, et ne savons par où commencer tellement nous avons mal été reçus... tout d'abord, cet hôtel n'est pas du tout digne d'un 5* à commencer par un buffet médiocre, il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix et les plats ne sont pas bon du tout. Ensuite, l'accueil qu'on nous a réservé lors de notre arrivée a été catastrophique !! Le personnel ne parle pas anglais, c'est totalement inadmissible pour un hôtel touristique!!! Comment sommes nous censé se faire comprendre ??? Ensuite, mon petit ami a voulu me faire sa demande en mariage en chambre, et a demandé à l'hôtel de décorer la chambre en payant un supplément pour me faire la surprise, ils ont été incapable de satisfaire cette demande!! De plus, nous avons été victime à plusieurs reprises de remarques désobligeantes de la part du personnel, nous n'avions presque pas le droit de parler, et de profiter de la piscine. L'hôtel ne possède même pas de service d'animation, ni aucune activité autre que le spa/piscine. Nous avons quasiment jamais mangé au buffet tellement il était ignoble. La télévision et le wifi dans la chambre ne fonctionnait même pas !!! Nous avons l'habitude de voyager à travers le monde et nous ne sommes jamais tombé sur un hôtel aussi médiocre que celui-ci, pourtant il s'agit apparemment d'un 5 étoiles soit-disant, sans compter que son prix n'est pas donné! Je ne recommande PAS DU TOUT cet hôtel, et d'autant moins pour les Français qui ont l'air d'être mal vu dans cet hôtel !!!

Je vous déconseille cette hôtel sauf si vous parlez la langue locale. Effectivement quasi tous l’hôtel est fréquenté par des locaux qui n’apprécie pas vraiment les étrangers. Cela va du regard persistant, jusqu’au remarques inutiles du type « ne fumait pas au bord de la piscine » ou « ne fait aucun bruit à partir de minuit » (que vous soyez en vacances ou pas…). La nourriture du self et digne d’un deux étoiles, et encore je trouve que je suis dur avec les deux étoiles donc préparer un budget restaurant. En résumé passez votre chemin si vous êtes un étranger.

Första rummet vi fick var invaderat av myror. Lämnade man en tom flaska med vatten så dök de upp direkt. Började krypa ur resväskorna också. Dag två fick vi byta rum och då var det lite bättre.
Servicen var inte den bästa och inte maten heller men ok.
