Great for its location. Room needs some work-shiped wall,broken board, rusty faucet. Hotel ran out of water twice, which was shocking!. Booked room with pool and sea view, very noisy-kids running around and playing in the pool early morning. Was not able to sleep in comfortably. Beach access is very convenient. Staff were nice. Alcohol from outside the hotel bar is not allowed! Double prices compared to the liquor store just next to the hotel, which is a complete rip off. Breakfast was good. Overall not bad.

We had a great stay at the Akkan Beach Hotel! The staff were all very friendly and our room was a good size and had good air conditioning. We sat at the beach each morning. There was always enough beach loungers for us and the people working at the beach were very nice and we could order drinks and food delivered to the beach! We usually spent the afternoon at the pool. The breakfast was a buffet with delicious coffee. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. The price is good, the location is perfect!

Property was right on the beach but property conditions were fair at best. We had no hot water for two days. Rooms were very small and provided blanket was very dirty. I’d stay somewhere else next time.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel and its amenities are great, the location was great, quiet, right in front of the sea and just a short walking distance to the center, and the staff was really really helpful and friendly, they even upgraded our room for a bigger, nicer room with balcony. Wifi, AC, and everything else worked perfectly. We also tried the hotel's restaurant and their burger is to die for. So delicious and for a good price! We traveled for 18 days total in Turkey and Bodrum was the place we enjoyed most. I wish we had stayed longer but definitely coming back to this hotel and to Bodrum.

1st morning i went to reception to tell them the drains were smelling in the toilet the manager said its because we are close to the sea.I asked if he could put cleaner down the drains as the smell was so bad it kept us awake.He put a wet towel over the drain in the shower that was it did nothing.We had no bins emptied beds made clean towel or sheets in our 4 night stay.We saw a man cleaning in the room next door i asked why we hadnt had cleaning he said i no English but got manager to be told we hadnt requested cleaning.Upon arrival no information was given about house keeping fire drill information nothing in room.The manager was very rude and was very in appropriate speaking in Turkish laughing at us..I paid for a luxury room with sea view as a company you did not provide me with this..

My friends and I stayed here for 2nights. It was good reception who attended us checking in and out was funny and hilarious making jokes i speak little turkish and he speak english. Private Beach just across the road, convenient to the tour boat pier, market and shops. Only the wifi is no connection in our room far end in the corner we had to stay in the lobby to get a good connection.

Wow, honestly I cannot even express how happy I was with this stay. This hotel already has great reviews but I figured why not just keep adding to the list because they just simply deserve the recognition! My first favorite about this hotel is the location! It is right on the outskirts of all of the action but far enough away to enjoy a good night's rest... Literally the food , shops, and entertainment are maybe about a 3 minute walk away from the hotel . The beach is directly across the street and has an amazing view with the ships and mountains in the background. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great with a large variety. The pool was big and CLEAN! The staff were super friendly and very family oriented. I would without a doubt stay at this location again in the future and would recommend this to singles, families , or couples looking for a safe quiet romantic place.

The breakfast service was good and clean. The room was good for the price. Neighbors were noisy and hotel was not full and tourist season almost over. So, light sleepers beware. The private beach was supposed to be stocked with clean towels and serviced by a staff member. First day we were given damp towels and told they were clean. All of the staff wore masks except one staff member who didn't and this person should have worn with so much guest interaction. The price was good though and overall was a good value.

Akkan Beach hotel is absolutely the best choice you can make! Me and my mom loved everything about it- starting with the staff - extremely friendly administration, reception, restaurant and cleaning crew - it was just like a dream, the location (right near the beach, a bit away from all the noise of the Center which was awesome), breakfast, cleanliness and coziness of the place.. We were also treated to the best room ever, spacious, with the sea view, great facilities. I also have to mention breakfast - it had everything, and I mean everything, you need to get you started for an awesome day in Bodrum. Thank you so so so much guys for awesome work you are doing. Whenever I am in Bodrum next time - Akkan Beach is the place to go.

A run down hotel in a good location, handy walking distance to shops and restaurants, but that’s the good part. Rooms are run down, broken locks, showers, uncomfortable bed, basic fitout. The pool was half full with dirty brown water with probably a years worth of dirt on the bottom and stairs. Needless to say mosquitoes were a problem during the night. Staff tried to be helpful but with limited English and our non existent Turkish we never found out why things were in such poor condition. The are plenty of other options nearby in muck better condition.

Great little seafront hotel in the best location in Bodrum - walking distance to everything, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, giving you ample elbow room to walk around, and peace and quiet at night. The staff were warm, friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. The pool and surrounding lounge area was just lovely. My understanding is that they will be going through a major renovation in the near future, and that would undoubtedly increase my "room" rating, as mine was quite dated, although on the positive side it did have a lovely ocean view! I would definately not hesitate to return to the Akkan Beach.

The original booked hotel was not available so we were put in sister hotel"Akaan Hotel". There were fewer facilities than the Akaan Beach hotel but compensation was given.

Tiny Room with no hot water
This was the far smallest room we ever have stayed in and We travelled all over Turkey. Never had hot water during the two night we stayed there. Very noisy place, we we kept up most of the night by guys next door and people running up and down the stairs. The cold water shower was so small a normal size person had a hard time moving. Hotel.com had in their description that there was onsite parking and hotel completly renovated. This is completely untrue. They have no parking just city street parking. The room we stayed in surely had not seen any renovation. We noticed their backyard being torn up and saw some workers. The only good thing I have to say is their breakfast was really good but they had no electricity the second morning we stsayed there so it was limited. Their location worked well for us but some might have an issue being this close to where the cruise ships are. Staff helpful. During the those two nights there we were constantly itching and we thought "omg bed bugs" we never saw anything actually on the sheets. However, since we left we have felt much better so something was in that room.

It's a beach hotel at an amazing location which therefore isn't updated or up to date in many ways, think very loud housekeeping staff, a leaking roof etc. The owners lived across from our room in their little rooftop chamber in the hotel, they don't seem to manage the place or care whatsoever. There are staff at the beach who can't speak Turkish or English which is extremely odd. Despite everything, it is one of the prettiest views and that's this hotel's backbone.

Otel çalışanları çok canayakın ve ilgili. Otel'in konumu, özellikle Yunan adalarına gidecekseniz çok iyi :), hemen önünden denize girilebilmesi de güzel.
Odalarda çok mobilya olduğu için biraz hareket kısıtı var 2 kişi iseniz. Daha sade bir dekorasyon, daha ferah olmasını sağlayabilir.

Ich würde diese Unterkunft keinem empfehlen, die Zimmer sind dreckig, überall Haare auf der Bettwäsche, Bad dreckig, schimmelig, und beim aufdrehen des Wassers kommt braunes Wasser. Die ganze Unterkunft ist schrecklich. Wir wollten ein anderes Zimmer, was uns auch angeboten wurde, das war genau so schlimm! Wir haben 7 Nächte gebucht, und haben nur 1 Nacht dort verbracht! Das Geld futsch. Wir haben uns ein anderes Hotel buchen müssen! Den Hotelmanager hat das gar nicht interessiert warum wir ausgecheckt haben. Ich weiß auch nicht woher die guten Bewertungen kommen

Bom hotel, tivemos um upgrade de quarto sem custos oferecido pelo Halil. Tivemos um vazamento no banheiro que não foi resolvido, mas optamos por ficar no quarto e o Halil foi muito atencioso e prestativo. Café da manhã satisfatório, sem muita variedade, piscina ótima! A praia possue poucas lixeiras e está sempre muito suja pela manhã, garrafas, sacos plásticos, deixam de tudo! O mais impressionante é a quantidade de bitucas de cigarros, horrível!! E não são só os turistas de fora, os locais tb!! Não é culpa do hotel, é claro, mas em toda a região próxima é assim.
O mais triste é a quantidade de gatos e cães nas ruas!! Alguns são castrados (tag na orelha), são alimentados por quem quer/pode ajudar e deixam potes imundos com água por todo centro, mas algo precisa ser feito por esses animais! Prefeitura, governo, seja lá quer for... Novamente não é culpa do hotel, mas é muito triste!!

Kesinlikle kimseye tavsiye etmem. Zorla kazandığınız parayı buraya vereceğinize gidin çöpe atın derim. Öncelikle arabamızı zar zor bir yere park ettikten sonra resepsiyon çok ilgisiz ve odalar resmen lağım kokuyordu. Koridordan ve yan odalardan gelen her ses duyuluyor. Çok konforsuz ve kullanışsız bir otel. Asıl bomba ise gece 1 sularında otel sahibi olduğunu iddia eden bir varlık karısını lobide dakikalarca dövdü, biz de tepki gösterince üzerimize yürüdü polis çağırmak zorunda kaldık. Böyle bir işletmede kalamayacağımız için 2 günlük ziyaretimizin ilk gecesinde otelden çıkış yaptık ve kimse ne paramızı verdi ne de bir özür diledi. Asla ama asla tercih edilmemesi gereken bir otel gerek saygısız gerek ilgisiz gerek ise tehlikeli bir işletme.
