Luxury hotel with all the usual amenities. Spacious room and spacious common areas to hang out with friends. Short walk to the ski lifts, very convenient. Note that the parking is valet only (extra cost and some inconvenience if you are used to keeping all your ski gear in your car).

Beaver creek is gorgeous so its hard not to enjoy it but we had numerous nagging little issues with this property.
Breakfast for 2 kids playes and 1 adult entree, delivered, was $78. Toast and fruit side and condiments were all missing. Room was too hot to sleep, in room frig unit not keeping food cold, toilet wouldn't flush so we had the engineer repair it, no bottled water in the room.
Not what we expected for what we paid. And there was no manager working we could speak with--on a friday.

A couple things that were a huge disappointment is there was no top sheet or blanket on the sofa sleeper. My son slept with towels as a top cover. Very uncomfortable. One of the electric outlets was not working in the bedroom.

We’ve been staying here for the past decade. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and especially so during this global pandemic. Some challenges we had this trip can certainly be attributed to the virus, however...some things could be improved regardless. The rooms were understandably not cleaned daily. No problem. However, we had three people on our reservation and were provided no bedding for our young adult son. We went and found the janitor closet ourselves and got what we needed. We were given 2 coffee cups, 2 drinking cups, etc. to use. Again, we just went and found the third items. 4 K cups were provided; we went scavenging again for more, since we had a 3 night stay. I know it’s really an unprecedented event for our lifetimes, so we weren’t going to get upset at any of it...but many people would not be as understanding or familiar with the property as we are. My only ongoing complaint with the hotel is with the cooling system. It’s just not adequate for anyone using the pullout couch in the living room. The master bedroom receives the only vent in the unit, so the living area stays scorching hot in the summer. We have to leave the door to the bedroom open to try and get some sort of air circulating into the other rooms. Really, the hotel needs to provide a circulating fan, if they are unable to ever upgrade the vents in the units. This year is probably our last in this particular property, simply because of the poor air conditioning situation.

This place lacks basic comforts

Don’t stay here if you like hot water for showers or functioning heat while you sleep. Cold water only, so I called front desk. After ringing for 10 minutes, she picked up. She said to let the water run until it gets hot. Half hour later, it was still ice cold. I turned on the faucet in the wet bar and the water finally got hot!?! Anyway, finally a chance to enjoy a shower after sleeping in a cold room on itchy sheets with hard king-size pillows (on a queen bed). At least I’d finally get to shower. My five minute shower fluctuated from ice cold to scalding hot. It’s been so relaxing to vacation at BCL. Note the sarcasm. Disappointing. This place is not cheap. The bedroom is freezing cold and the small living room is hot because it’s on the inside of the unit with a gas fireplace heat source. Adjusting the thermostat in the bedroom never affected the temperature in the bdrm. We turned up the heat & closed the bedroom door when we went to dinner. Upon returning to the room 2 hours later, the temp hadn’t changed. It was very cold in the bedroom! We live in CO at 10,000 ft, we aren’t wimpy. It was one of the coldest nights of the year & the heat never came on in the bedroom. This place needs some serious attention. The location is convenient but it’s absolutely not “ski-in / ski-out” as advertised. Parking is $50/night, but you won’t learn that until you arrive. Lastly, Housekeeping isn’t thorough, there were several long black hairs in the bathtub. Yuck!

The property location was convenient located and it was easy to walk to places in the Village. The restaurant within the hotel was closed because it was their off season. I was disappointed that this wasn’t in the description at the time I booked my stay. I was looking forward to room services. They did provide a breakfast buffet. Their buffet consisted of omelettes, but the bacon, potatoes, and toast selections were first come, first serve. Once they ran out at 9am, nothing was refilled even though breakfast was served until 11.

We rented a room that was supposed to be large enough for four people, but it was really too small. The pullout couch was dinky, and could only comfortably accomodate one person. The room would have been fine for two or three people, but four didn't work. Also, the pool area is underwelming and very small, which was disappointing because the temperatures were spectacular. We were also suprised by the expensive parking charges ($35 in the summer; $50 per night in the winter) -- so keep those in mind when you compare prices. Finally, it's worth noting that the smoke alarm battery went off in the middle of the night. It was kind of a bummer and made sleep a real challenge. Overall, the hotel is in a terrific location in Beaver Creek.

The hotel was in the middle of a renovation and we were the only 4 guests in the hotel. We dodged boxes of furniture and workmen every time we left out room for 4 days. We heard drills and hammering all day and workmen walked into our room unannounced several times even though we had hung a Do Not Disturb sign on the front door. I wish someone...Beaver Creek Lodge or Hotels.com...had told us what we were walking into. We would have definitely chosen to stay somewhere else but since we had nonrefundable rooms with Hotels.com, we were stuck. And then on top of everything else, Beaver Creek Lodge made me pay again when checking out because they said they did not show a payment by Hotels.com. I've had to spend several hours getting that straightened out and my Mastercard had certainly been charged in August and paid by me. The rooms were nice and clean and under other circumstances, the stay might be good but not in our case. I was not a happy camper on checkout.

My sons and I just returned from a week of vacation in Beaver Creek and we LOVED the Beaver Creek Lodge. It was the perfect room layout for us and the hotel was in the heart of the town and close to everything. The food was delicious; the room service was very prompt. Every employee (from the valet attendant to the concierge to the front desk) was very courteous and knowledgeable of the area. I really can’t say enough about our stay - it was perfect and we will return every summer!

This property is an excellent location. Now that it is recently a Marriott property hopefully they will provide much need renovations to rooms and property. Hot tub and pool area very disappointing. Rooms need updated bedding, furniture, amenities, and restaurant. Front Desk staff was good.

Thank you for asking about our experience at the hotel. This was the first time we have stayed at the resort and the experience was awful! From the time we checked into the room until we left, the room was hot and the air conditioning not working. WE called immediately to the front desk and asked for fans to cool the room off. The front desk person called the building engineer which came up to the room and found the AC was not working. He tried to make adjustments and it still would not work. The engineer finally stated that some type of contacts needed to be replaced and moved forward replacing them while we left for dinner. We came back from dinner to a very warm room and called for fans from the front desk clerk which we did not receive. The following day of course the room was incredibly hot! We talked to the engineer that was in the prior day and without a breath stated \"the problem was diagnosed and repaired\" the prior day and proceeded top walk away as I was beginning to let him know of the issues still remaining (the room was hot)! I called the front desk clerk once again and asked again for room fans and she stated that she would have the engineer check the AC again. I let her know of my encounter with the engineer (the problem has been diagnosed and repaired) and we both thought it best just to put a box fan in the room. Never the less a very poor experience, without very good sleep! I rented two rooms by the way, and the other was fine! Blessings, Rick M

Great ski in ski out hotel in the heart of Beaver Creek. The rooms have a separate sitting area with a fireplace, pullout couch and small kitchen - master bedroom also has a separate sink area from the bathroom so someone can still get ready while another person uses the shower. Great layout for couples or family. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub outside while its snowing after a long day on the slopes!

Perfect location for skiers.

I’ve stayed in many places in Beaver Creek. This one for sure is the most convenient, clean and spacious for the price. Highly recommend it. It has a ski rental in the same hotel and you receive a 20% discount to rent there. Can’t be the savings.

The hotel is close to everything,was clean,room was not that big,very small refrigerator,I thought the daily fee for parking was excessive,$40.00/day.Restaurant was not what you would expect for the cost of the facility,room service breakfast was TERRIBLE!!!!You can access everything from the hotel,if you rent your equipment from Christy sports, they will store them for you,that is a plus.Overall, I give it an OK.I think we will try a different location next year.

We just stayed here and really loved the place. From first contact with Vel, the valet, everyone was very nice and helpful. They saw we traveled with 2 kids and made sure to bring them kid sized robes to wear to/from the pool. The room was great with the kitchenette so we didn't have to eat out every meal which gets expensive with kids who never eat anyway:) The location is very central to skiing, ice skating and the rest of the shops. The only minor issue was they fact they tried to charge us $10 for the bottled water they put in the room which we didn't drink. Could be a simple mistake or just another way to get a little extra money from people who don't look at their final bill. With the daily $33 resort charge and $39 valet parking charge, additional charges like this get even more annoying, especially when we didn't consume or even touch the bottles from where they were placed by housekeeping.

Great location but be sure to watch for the hidden fees and their attempt to take advantage. We booked a room with a view called a \"Valley View\" room and they tried to put us in a room starring at the hospital facing west. After being given a little attitude, they made the change. Next comes the resort fee. Not sure what this is for when the Lodge is not a resort. The only amenity included was WI-FI, cable TV (not all the channels worked), and in room coffee via Keurig. They also add tax to the resort fee despite Colorado law exempting service and labor from sales tax. While the resort fee was disclosed, the parking fee was not. They charge a fee for having arrived at the Lodge to enjoy the room you paid for. Avoid the fee by parking at the entrance to Beaver Creek and taking the free shuttle that comes around every 20 mins. The pool is small, unheated, and there isn't a hot tub. The Revolution restaurant is disappointing if you're looking for drinks and desert. You'll spend about $50 for two drinks and the only two deserts offered. The chocolate cake is without any flavor aside from burnt and the peach cobbler is best described as grilled peach slices that are rubbery and no cobbler to speak of. The ice cream was edible.

Watch the fees!

Great location but somewhat dishonest so be sure to watch for the hidden things. As an example, we booked and paid extra for a room with a view called a \"Valley View\" room. We were put in a room starring at the hospital opposite of the valley. I quickly informed the desk and got some push back. Guess they thought I was clueless on what a valley was. After being given a little attitude, they made the change. Next comes the resort fee. Not sure what this is for when the Lodge is not a resort. Doubt the Wi-Fi was worth the $20 a day when hotspot via cell phone is free. The resort fee was clearly stated on the booking page so wasn't a big issue. They do charge tax on it (despite Colorado tax law exempting service and labor from all tax). Thankfully Expedia quickly refunded the taxes. Next came the \"parking fee\". I guess if you book a room and want to indeed travel to the location for which you booked, they charge for that. A fee for having arrived at the Lodge to enjoy the room you paid for if you will. Avoid the fee and park at the entrance to Beaver Creek and ride the free shuttle that comes around every 20 mins. The Lodge pool is small, unheated and there isn't a hot tub at this \"resort\". The proximity to the village is nice and the ability to get to Vail in 5 mins is also a bonus. The concierge was great and very helpful. She clearly understood the meaning of hospitality and it's requirement in a service based business.

The staff was excellent and willing to help when minor issues occurred. The room was very nicely appointed in rich wood tones and the living room provided a great place to relax allowing room partners to retire without being disturbed. I do believe it should be an industry wide scandal to add \"Resort Fees\" when not mentioned and/or included in the room rate and when none of the \"resort\" facilities are used. The $25. parking fee/night for guests is another surprise that is not mentioned in the booking unless one is aware of the charge and specifically asks. I feel it is dishonest to add mandatory fees not mentioned in the cost at time of reservation. Just because other facilities may also do it does not make it right.

The service was great, but the beds and the pillows were super comfortable!!!!! The rooms are getting a little dated with scuffed furniture and cosmetic issues, though very minor! Great place to relax

Great choice in Beaver Creek

We've stayed here several times over the years and it's a good choice in BC. Our recent stay was in July. They apparently have A/C but it did not work very well so we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Not a huge deal as 90% of hotels in BC do not have A/C. Great location and nice to have a mini kitchen.
