Not recommend to stay here.
Run down and not maintain at all.
Check in & air con not working
Wanted to check out immediately & was offer to Change to other rooms (3 times)
Breakfast was terrible & the environment is terrible.
No air con at all
At hotel lobby also no air con while waiting to get a grab out of this place!

Friendly and Helpful Hotel Staff

The service of hotel staff is awesome. They acted immediately on the problematic air-condition in our room; which was hot like oven. The air-condition was faulty but Front Office staff, Ms. Ju, upgraded our room on a complimentary basis to compensate the problem on our first room. The upgraded room was better and our stay was good.

No hand towels and floor towel provided. Hanger was not replace at the back toilet door. Burnt bulb at pantry area. Wardrobe is in bad condition with jammed door
Lobby was warm, even the receptionist that served us using some brochures to fan herself.
However, they have friendly staffs and the room's air condition is cool.

The location of this hotel is great and the friendliness of the staffs too. Other than that, the room price is including free breakfast is one of good bargain for the guest to grab. Good job. However, the lack of accommodation such as clothes iron, hanger, hard pillow and smelly toilet had put me to make this rate. The popular coffee shop is just walking distance opposite from the hotel. The hotel buffer breakfast really needs to imporove. Good that we found the nice kopitiam and can just walk over for super nice local coffee and breakfast.

Reception area filled with cigarette smoking smell. Called reception to complain about TV remote control not working properly, no action from staff, until I visited the reception to follow-up. Toilet shower head, \"rain type\" not suitable, splashing all over. Room aircon has to be manually switch on. Buffet breakfast not palatable, messy leftovers on tables and staff not clearing it on time. Different area of the hotel needs different Wifi password, rather irritating.
Not likely to come back.

Embracing situation

Had a very embracing b'fast..without seeing the coupon..I pass to the cafe staff..and was told only for 1 person..while there are 2 of us..so need to go down to the reception to verified..and was ask when check in that time ..what paper we need for complimentary..it easy told the reception..and there was no paper ..when ask at the reception they said it easy finish..wow my first stay and had to face such an embracing situation....

Comfortable for those who want to stay long

- The choice of food for breakfast is similar every day, but the taste is ok.
- Looking forward for a better sambal nasi lemak.
- Room service and housekeeping are good. Just the lamp in the alley is quite dark and scary for those who are ironing the alley
- Please put iron and iron board in each room. It is quite uncomfortable when you're ironing in the alley and someone pass by

For me the room is not that clean. The hotel bathroom is not that clean too. The shower seems like clogging, the shower handle is missing and the toilet water hose is leaking. The staff however are friendly. The breakfast have a lot of choices and taste quite well.

Old worn chinese communist style hotel

We checked into this hotel early . The staff were very nice but the hotel has seen better days. Public bathrooms were squat toilets. the room was meant to be executive room which was large but worn looking. In the end we decided to check out of the hotel as it was not what we expected. We knew you would not reimburse us but this hotel should not be placed on your website at all.the staff were friendly and gracious about our decision. very disappointing.

We rechecked into another hotel of a much higher quality with not too much of a price difference.
Not happy to have spent money for two bookings.
In the future it is unlikely that i will use Expedia for booking hotels. I feel totally let down. You should do more quality checks on the hotels you use.

Conveniently Located & Reaasonably Priced

Front desk experience was smooth with minimal questions asked (pre-booked with the app). The room was spacious, comfortable and had a nice view of Ipoh city, although the room could use some updating and proper maintenance. And indoor parking is available (but somewhat limited) and is free of charge for hotel guests (parking tickets need to be endorsed at front desk). Also, the hotel was within walking distance to some restaurants (do bring along an umbrella as there are no covered walkways). Will consider this establishment again for future stay

Fairly good location near to shops. Parking is ok. WiFi in the room is ok. Good coffee and tea as well as bottled water provided.
Room was not thoroughly cleaned as stains could be seen on tables and floor and bathroom mirror. Bathroom towels very old. Bed linen look and feel unchanged.
Airconditioning loud. Also the airconditioning duct carried the smell of cigarette smoke at times. Very irritating especially when sleeping at night.
Good that breakfast is provided but it's not the best.
