Good quiet location but only ten minutes to the h.

Great location, lovely staff and a very comfortable stay. We went for the one bedroom apartment which was a bit bigger and well worth the extra cost. Basic cooking facilities….two hot plates and a microwave, but certainly adequate. Lovely balcony and two large settees in the living room. Ten minutes from the harbour with restaurants, bars etc, and a shopping mall only a short walk away. Good price, we will be back, so highly recommended.

They kicked us out an hour earlier than the scheduled checkout time. The toilets had to be flushed 3 times to work. Both the customer service and the property were very bad.

Pleasant stay

Just an overnight stop the location was ideal for us (our meeting was in the club nextdoor). The receptionist was very helpful and informative. The location of this hotel is very good not far from the harbour or the mall (wether you want sightseeing or shopping it's ideal). It is a bit dated but clean and tidy. The checkout is 11 am not noon as per paperwork. There are no lifts but it's only 2 story.

Although it’s cheap, it is actually pretty poor. You have to pay extra for air con and WiFi. The rooms are outdated and basic (even though we were in the new block apparently). The lights don’t work unless you have a key card inserted, so it’s actually pretty dangerous, and the locks were really hard to use. On the positive side it’s only a short walk to the harbour so it’s a convenient location. The pool is only small and was crowded every day so we didn’t bother using it.

Lovely family-run place offers great value

I was blessed with an upgrade so my room was fantastic for the bargain price. It overlooked a charming chapel and little park with greenery. Perhaps people who stay in the annexe across the street might not find the surrounds so charming. Other reviews say the rooms are dated. Sure, but the price reflects this. It's very clean & well-equipped, close to Kings Mall and the tourist area and I would stay again without hesitation.

Nice place with great location

I stayed with 4 friends in 2 apartments for 1 night.
The apartments are big and clean, with twine beds, kitchen and balcony.
Service was good.
Wifi and air condition in the rooms are with extra charge but it shows in the hotel details.

10 to 15 minute walk from the main shops and bars.

An ok establishment if a little dated. For the price in comparison to another property I stayed in at another resort later in the week then it did not remotely match up. No welcome facilities e.g. tea/coffee or water. Poor TV and very poor internet connection. Proprietor wanted extra for air conditioning as well!

Very nice but two issues

Very nice apartments but with two significant flaws. Both the public areas and room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and air conditioning is 6 euros each night. If these don't bother you then it's a nice play to stay, with friendly people.

Decent value for money

Stayed for 3 nights in a double bed apartment. Check in was straightforward. The guy is in the habit of saying strange things and talking loudly, but otherwise nice and friendly.

The room is a bit dated, like something out of the 70s, but otherwise clean, comfortable and functional. There's a nice balcony which gets sun all day and I imagine a nice place to sit and relax if you had the time. The apartment came with fridge, cooker and all the utensils needed to cook. The fridge worked fine, but didn't use the cooker.
No one cleaned the room the 3 days I was there and I can imagine another days stay and it will would have been intolerable. One day I did find 3 cockroaches. Sadly this and cleanliness is the one thing I can't abide by.

A nice feature is the double thick curtains which are great at blocking out the morning sun.

Location wise, it's about 10 minutes to the harbour and 5 to kings avenue mall. So very convenient. It can be an annoying walk from the harbour though. The road are narrow and there isn't always pavement. The locals tend to be quite respectful drivers, but can be a bit scary at night when all you are is headlights.

One thing that really annoyed me is the internet. It's free in the lobby and if you want access in the apartments it's €1 a day.

Overall, decent value for money considering what you get.

Nice Hotel with Poor Welcome

Upon arrival, we were told by the hotel manager that he couldn't find our prepaid reservation - it was horrifying experience! The situation was resolved by the hotel owner and soon after, we've got a room as we requested in our reservation. Overall, the hotel was clean and had a small swimming pool.

Difficult to us the key to open room door. When asked the staff to tell me how to use first time, his response was not that bad. Second time, because it was so difficult , however, he looked down on me as though a fool! I felt furious at his attitude.
Other negative points: No wifi accessible in room, no tooth brush/shaving kit equipped

Upon arriving to check in, we were told that there was no room at the hotel. We were then moved to a lesser hotel which upon further investigation was cheaper than what we originally paid (although we were not made aware of this). The new hotel was indeed a lesser hotel with a poor room condition, the room smelt overpowering with paint fumes and the generally hygiene of the room was not the greatest. Overall will not book with crystallo again due to the poor way the situation was handled.

Absolutely rubbish!!!!

booked 2 rooms, After arriving at the hotel the front desk staff seemed to be frowning as we walked it, thought maybe a bad day that didn't concern us. might I add very little English is spoken but anyway handed the itinerary then after 10 minutes sitting at the desk we get one key. After explaining and pointing we got two rooms booked that took another 20 minutes to sort out before we were given 2 room. Then we are told we are not staying at the apartments the front desk is located at (pictured on expedia) in fact the rooms we are staying is across the road, which has no sense of design but never the less we thought we're here now might aswell make the most of it.

no sense of security apart from the room door, main door open all night, no staff over night

very poor insulation, you can hear everything from outside passage, footsteps and even a normal tone voice can be heard clearly (so everyone walking past your room can also hear you)

fridge we had in our room definitely has some serious issues, grinding noise loud enough to wake us up every time the motor came on (every half hour or so for around 5 minutes)

hose pipe is used as a gas pipe for the cooker, we didn't use the cooker so not such a big deal but surely didn't look very safe.

shower way too small

toilet too close to the wall

horrible cheap beds (2 single beds put together)

overall my stay was horrible, checked out after the first night, there are much better places to stay in the area.
AVOID THIS ONE!

Great place to stay for the best price!
It's easy to get from this place to seafront, close to big city center King Mall, taverns and other places of interest.
Free Parking is underground.
Owner helped us on all issues araised during staying in Pafos.
Room is big and nice with all facilities to cook, 2 wardrobes and warm blankets, which is very important in March.
Exit from the room diectly to huge terrace.
Every day cleaning.
Plug adapter and iron on request without any extra fees.
We realy enjoyed and give our recommendations,

Awful room!!

Shocked by the room. Circa 1970. Old furnishing which is outdated and smelt old. Spoke to owner who said all rooms same. I said it nothing like photos on website. He said that was a superior rooms that would cost me another 10 euros a night and he had none!!. Beds old, bed linen tired. Sick tap literally hanging off. Bathrom tiny and shower screen broke. Left and had to spend a lot of money finding alternative accommodation. Please do not book a holiday in these apartments. If you do insist on a superior rooms or you will as shocked and disappointed as us.

We have just returned after spending 26 days at the crystallo apartments and would recommend them to anyone wanting a nice clean apartment only about a 10 minute walk from the harbour. George the owner was always available at reception and dealt with any probem straight away.

Guaranteed sun sea and dirty old relics

Spacious well ventilated room, perfect position overlooking pool. Rooms serviced and cleaned daily so no time to get messy. Ask the hotel staff for anything and mostly accommodated with generous hospitality. Fully equipped kitchen to be self sufficient. Seperate bathroom clean with no nasty surprises. Great for short or longer stays, just be careful or you may settle so well you may not want to leave.

The staff was rude to us. Not so helpful in booking day/night trips.
Not so generous: they put only one soap. If someone had to leave the room and take the key, the electricity in the room would turn off (even the AC).
The room wasn't very clean.
I would pay less for this accommodation.

Perfect for us

when we stayed here we was made very welcome in this family run hotel, where father and son run front of desk. The place is in walking distance of the harbour/beach/shops/restaurants but not to near so you can enjoy the quite surrounding area. We would book this hotel gain when we next visit.

Only down side was the aircon, the ac in the living area that we had to pay extra for worked fine. The ac in the bedroom was very poor.
great place to stay if you are looking for cheap digs. Not pool people so cant comment. Used as a base to travel all over the island. It is only a ten minute walk down to the nightlife and 15 minute stagger back but still far enough away to be nice and quite on a night time.
A lot of small ants in the apartment but temperatures were very high when we were there and they didnt worry us in the slightest. very clean and tidy.

ALREADY RECOMMENDED LOVED IT

Flight was delayed so phoned to inform No problems Stayed to book us in Stafis and George Couldn't do enough To make Our Stay A GOOD ONE Apartments Spotlessly Clean and Spacious and local to Beach, Nightlife,Places of Interest. Ladies came in Everyday except Sunday to change Towels,bathmat ,mop etc As my friend and I are neat and tidy we made beds washed up to try to keep their Exacting Standard It became a game But the ladies you could tell had been in and wouldn't be beaten HaHa !!!
The beds were changed The kitchen facilities were Basic But everything there that you needed as we ate in a couple of nights and managed to make full meals
Little things mattered Too. Such as washing up liquid,tea towel,toilet rolls continually supplied
The pool was a suntrap
The Only Negative ...........ONE WEEK ISN'T LONG ENOUGH
Thank You George and Stafis and Mrs George We WILL See You AGAIN

Excellent apartment for the cost, big , spacious accommodation opening directly onto pool and sunbathing area.
George very helpful and friendly, nothing too much for him to help with.
Would definately stay again and recommend to others.
Would however avoid peak season as feel the pool and sunbathing area would be rather small.

apartment is situated within easy reach of harbour

All amenities were within walking distance from the apartment. We travelled on 04 Feb. Although there were plenty of places to eat, a lot of shops/tavernas in Paphos were closed, making the tourist centre a bit of a ghost town. When we go again we will not travel until March when everything is open.

All our travel arrangements went well, no complaints at all. The flights, apartment and car hire went smoothly. Some of the roads are not very well maintained. Car travel was easy because they drive on the left hand side of the road and roads are well sign posted

Friendly apartments in a very good location

I stayed at the apartments for 10 days over Christmas and New Year. The room was basic but very clean. Everything needed for self catering is in the room and were of a good quality. The staff, George and Stathis, were friendly and always available I needed any help or information. Location is very good. It is in a quiet area, but within a 5-10 minutes walk there is a shopping mall (with Cinema), or in the opposite direction the harbour front which has the beaches and restaurant and bars. If you want to club, Bar Street is a 5 minutes walk (even though it was close, you couldn't hear it). Wi-Fi in the reception was excellent and the apartments could benefit from extending it to the rooms. I didn't use the pool. Could do for a few more TV channels for those rainy days. My only negative was that on 2 occasions I returned to find my room hadn't been locked by the cleaner. There was nothing taken as I locked everything valuable away. Heating/air conditioning and a safe are available at extra cost. Overall, a very good facility and one that I would happily stay again at.

Das Zimmer war für den Preis okay. Das Bad hatte einige Mängel (defekte WC Papier Halterung, WC- Brille defekt, schlechte Raumlüftung). Auch im Zimmer ein paar Kleinigkeiten (Knöpfe beim Toaster kaputt, schwarze Flecken an den Wänden..). Mängel wurden dem Personal beim Auschecken mitgeteilt und wurden zur Kenntnis genommen.
