Large spread out resort but felt private on your patio/balcony. Some great restaurants (busy so book ahaead) in Playa Santiago which was easily reached by the elevator 'down the cliff'. The hotel Al la Carte restaurants also very nice and great food (did not try the buffet). Evening entertainment was decent, same cast each night but varied.

Our room had no facility to make a hot drink, due to no kettle in the room. No wardrobe hanging for full length clothes and even the hanging space provided was too small to hang a shirt without it pooling on the floor. No shelves in the bathroom to hold toiletries.

Clean well equipped room with great shower. The private terrace had a beautiful 180 degree sea view in the sun all day. There was easy access to Playa Santiago and very good pool. Couldn't fault the breakfast with far more available than you could possibly want.

An old friend needs an update.

My fourth stay. A beautifully landscaped property needs a little work on the rooms. The bed was old and the floors are very slippery when wet (I fell and sprained a knee). The towels were so worn that one tore while I used it. The staff are marvelously helpful, especially Miriam on the front desk.

We arrived in La Gomera not really knowing what to expect but this is a resort hotel with activities - so there can be quite a lot of life about the place.

Staff were generally friendly and accommodating

We ate at the beach club which was excellent albeit the service was a little all over the place at times- but well meaning and with a smile.

Hotel is a little tired in places - no more so than the bedrooms which are due a little TLC- that said spotlessly clean and the sea view superior had stunning views. We ended up turning off the aircon as there was a fairly unpleasant odour coming from it - again I think it’s just a little old.

Some really nice restaurants in the town notably La Cuevita Ayagaures, Kuss and Don Tomate so don’t just stick to the hotel fayre

Breakfast was wonderful! Lots of choices, champagne, fresh juices, local cheeses and other specialties. The grounds were beautiful, filled with well cared for plants and trees from all over the world. The room was spacious and light. Easy to walk into town. It was a pleasure to stay there.

My third visit to Jardin Tecina revealed maintenance issues. The clothes hook on bathroom door about to fall off. The shower gel bottle did fall off. The room safe activation required a technician's visit because front desk couldn't explain how it worked. And, as before, the signs directing guests to their rooms are poor. Rooms are difficult to find.

A great place for a winter sunshine break

A very special hotel with hundreds of rooms arranged as separate apartments. They are spread over a clifftop with magnificent views and clustered around very good central facilities for eating, drinking, swimming and other recreation.

A gem on La Gomera

A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful grounds, nice rooms, great food and friendly, helpful staff. But if you're disabled or even partly disabled, beware the sloping paths and many outdoor stairs at night. Some are poorly lit or not lit at all.

Awesome hotel to relax but disappointing food

Nice hotel in a very special location. If you want to spend your vacation in a quiet space with amazing views, this is the place to go. Our room was very comfortable and we had an amazing terrace looking over the ocean. The bathroom was a bit tired but it honestly did not bother us. The staff around the hotel are very friendly. The only thing that we did not like was the food. The buffet dinner is below mediocre and the food presentation resembles that in the canteen of the average European office.

A soulless hotel

We where so looking forward to staying here at the end of a hard 9 days of walking as a treat .
The hotel did not live up to our expectations at all .
On the surface it looks beautiful with great gardens , nice pools etc .
In fact this hotel lacks soul .
The staff where not that friendly apart from one lovely waitress that was totally overworked trying to serve a huge section of tables in the buffet restaurant .
The hotel wants guests to book everything inc the a la carte restaurants using their app.
We wanted to order drinks at the bar and asked for the menu as we had left our phones in our room . To be told you can only see the menu via the QR code on the table using a smart phone .
When I told the waiter our phones where in our room as we wanted to enjoy a night together without technology interfering he just shrugged his shoulders . In others worth tough no phone no menu .
We went half board expecting a high standard of food as it’s meant to be 4 star hotel .
I have had better food in Butlins !
The hot food was just warm & in general the whole buffet was very mediocre .
My advice would be to stay in the town for a more real experience & skip this over priced hotel that’s thinks it’s far better than it is .

Travelled fro Tenerife to La Gomera for an overnight break to explore the island and check out the hotel and golf course for future holidays. We weren’t disappointed by either of them. Fantastic hotel and golf course.

This is a high end resort on a fabulous location on a rock next to the playa. Beautifully maintained, all facilities and great breakfast buffet.

Big and beautiful property

This hotel is on a cliff about 10 minutes from the airport.
The wifi worked well after needing a staff member to reset it (which happened promptly). The property is very large, and it can be a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot to your room, or from your room to the food areas. The food was an assisted buffet due to covid, but the staff gave you exactly what you wanted. We though the food was excellent. The tap water in the room tasted better than in other Canary Island hotels. The room was bright, nicely decorated, and quite comfortable.

Great resort type hotel with plenty to do. Good facilities and beautifully laid out gardens. Food in the main restaurant was adequate although it was very busy and therefore challenging for the staff to provide a quality service. We upgraded our dinner option on 3 nights to the different restaurants available. 2 of the meals were good but 1 was poor. Overall, a great place to stay.

J'ai passé beaucoup de temps dans l'eau. La piscine d'eau de mer au \"club laurel\" est très agréable et bien située, près de la plage. Le spa aussi est sympa, petit mais pas trop envahi (hors saison). On peut aussi lézarder devant la piscine principale. Partout on nous fournit des chaises longues et des serviettes.

inkompetente Rezeption, zu dicht bebaut

Der Check in war schrecklich: Unser Zimmer sollte #111 sein. Dafür gabs auch den elektronischen zimmerschlüssel. Auf der Karte des hotelgeländes wurde an der Rezeption aber 101 eingetragen! Als wir dort nach vielen Metern ankamen stellte sich heraus, daß die Rezeption uns auf der Gelände karte das falsche Zimmer eingetragen hatte. Wir sind dann allerdings weiter zu #111 gelaufen und dort hat der zimmersclüssel funktioniert. D.h. die Rezeption weiss nicht bescheid. Noch unverschämter war dann allerdings der Anruf im Zimmer, wir hätten nachdem das mit #101 nicht funktioniert hat wieder zurück laufen sollen. Wer ist hier der Gast und wer schickt die Gäste im Gelände herum. Keine 4sterne!

Nice stay, cozy environment with the garden and old trees. Broad and selective menues at the restaurants at lunch, great food. We have half pension and the buffet dinner was really nice. Room cozy and updated, however the paintwork of the ceiling must have been done in quite a hurry, since there was painting all over the floor in the bathroom. What a pity when you update your rooms. What a waste. Otherwise the appearance could have been much better. Also we had a great ocean view. Missed some more kind of pillows in a four star hotel. They also changed the towels each day, not necessary, also watering the trees in the middle of the day was bit weird in an islands that did not have any rain for 2 years. I think customers would understand the need to reduce water. Ex only wash towels if they are at the floor and not shift them every day.

Skön vistelse trots trött rum.

Bäst före datumet för rummet var passerats, dvs vi fick inte ett renoverat rum.
Exempel: en stickkontakt i rummet för laddning av mobil och den var inte vid sängen. Och det fanns ingen möjlighet att få en förgreningskontakt. Vistelsen i sin helhet blev helt ok med sol, vandring och bad.

Es hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich eine Überwinterung dort plane. Ein sehr schönes Spa, die Massage war excellent, das Essen sehr vielfältig, von Vegan bis Carnivor. Personal super nett und hilfsbereit, dreisprachig!

Ett litet paradis!

Ön La Gomera ett litet paradis på jorden. Se ön med buss eller hyrbil. Klart värt det. Kan du dessutom bo på Hotel Jardin Tecina är det bara ett plus. Här finns det mesta du behöver om du är sport intresserad som Golf, Padel, Tennis, Gym, PT och vandring i bergen. Själv fördrar jag vandring. Hotell området är helt fantastiskt. Med poler och Beach clubs.

Grosse structure hôtelière, notre chambre la 163 était éloignée du restaurant et des piscines. Buffet du matin et du soir (à thème) correct. Dommage que ce soit envahi par les mouches peut-être est-ce du à la saison , nous y étions en octobre.

El hotel está bien, a nosotros no nos gustan los hoteles grandes con tantísimas personas, preferimos los pequeños y más tranquilos. Pero en general no está mal. Muy difícil el sistema de reservas con la aplicación, sobre todo porque no funcionaba para todo. Algún que otro camarero antipático en el desayuno, pero otros que compensaban con su simpatía como Chedey, muy agradable este chico.

Très bel hôtel dominant l'océan

L'hôtel et ses jardins sont magnifiques, dominant l'océan du fait de sa situation en bord de falaise. Il y a un ascenseur permettant d'accéder à la plage de cailloux, ce qui est très pratique pour la baignade.
La chambre est spacieuse et fonctionnelle avec une très belle vue sur l'océan.
Le personnel est agréable et compétent.
Les buffets des repas du restaurant principal, que ce soit au petit-déjeuner ou au dîner sont très bons, variés et très bien cuisinés avec un coin show-cooking pour les crêpes le matin et pour deux sortes de viande et un poisson le soir.
Par contre il y a plusieurs piscines et malheureusement aucune n'est chauffée correctement : pour un hôtel 4 étoiles indiquant \"piscine chauffée\" la température minimale rendant la baignade de loisir agréable doit être de 28 degrés, or là que ce soit la piscine principale, celle du Club Laurel ou même celle réservée aux suites, aucune ne dépasse les 24-25 degrés. Je l'ai signalé à la réception mais on m'a répondu que c'était normal, la température de chauffe n'excédant pas 25 degrés et pouvant même descendre à 19 !!
C'est le gros point négatif de cet hôtel, sinon tout le reste est très bien.
