We were looking forward to staying for 5 nights in the quiet valley of Hermigua but found the hotel to be very noisy with poor soundproofing between rooms. We had a room next to family with young children who screamed the place down so much we asked to move rooms but the noise carried throughout the building as well as other guests meeting in bedrooms chatting till late so not a restful stay. One of the few hotels I was glad to leave and sorry we’d booked. It’s sad as the place looks ok from the outside.

I booked a studio for 4 nights but when we arrived we decided to upgrade to the panoramic view room. It was amazing. The one thing wrong with the studio was the bathroom was tiny, other than that it was a good room, well decorated and equipped. The pool is across the road as is the restaurant. Very good food. Family run and very friendly. Will definately be back. Good location for exploring the whole island.

Hermigua and La Gomera are amazing places to stay for few days. This is a rural area with lots of banana plantations, animal farms. Many trekking opportunities. Nice breakfast delivered daily to your door at 8:10 AM (bread, cheese, coffee etc). Two bars in the area that serve good food.

Absolutely amazing place with fantastic valley views. It is worth the 6 euros for breakfast to be brought to door. Clean rooms, comfortable beds to rest on after long walks, plus there is free coffee and tea in the common area. Really nice place to stay and I wish I had more than the three nights we had there.

Along with 3 other couples we arrived late because of the weather. I had previously telephoned reception and was told opening hours would change in April. They have not. Information about where supermarket and restaurants are would be appreciated. I had emailed proprietor en route about late arrival and supermarket was shut. Luckily there were guests in lounge who advised us on where to get a meal. Anyone wanting a room on ground floor should specify as there is an external curved staircase. Typical Canarian property and the small bathroom
did not offer a shelf for toiletries. Sufficient for our needs and ideally situated for exploring the island.

A little remote, but good for walkers.

I only stayed here for one night, but for the price I paid I was very satisfied, the facilities were adequate, and the wifi was good to say where it was located. The owner was very agreeable, leaving the keys for me with instructions on where I could find them. The apartments are a little remote, but if you are looking to do walks around the volcano and in the national park, then they are very well placed. There is also a supermarket close by. The tourist areas of Tenerife are also not too far away.

Beautiful Sustainable Hotel

Los Telares apartments are set in stunning scenary overlooking the valley of Hermigua on La Gomera. The apartments are beautifully furnished with large windows allowing you to take in the natural beauty of the island. All staff that we encountered were amazing and very helpful. The hotel is a sustainable hotel, meaning they like to recycle and reuse, so there is a food pantry stocked with food that others have left for the new guests amongst other sustainable measures they have brought in. The pool and gardens are very relaxing, equipped with hammocks and sun-locked patio areas. If you opt in for the breakfast, the staff bring breakfast to your room with hot drinks in thermos and a large variety of locally sourced food.

I spent two nights here, unfortunately due to timings missing out on the dinner (served promptly at 8pm) which from the menu provided and other related reviews looks really good value. Waking up in the beautiful surroundings and having breakfast brought to you was a worthwhile extra - though it is brought 8-8.15 no other time.

The packed lunch they send up the same time if you order it was also pretty good. It's a great base for hiking and so I enjoyed mine in the surrounding hills with incredible views.

Nice and comfortable, though could do with an oven or microwave in addition to the dual hob to increase the self cook options.

Location is beautiful but as with most places on the island the buses are not the most reliable.Bus is a fine option leaving the airport as buses depart as soon as a plane arrives and with one quick change to get to Hermigua.Timetables otherwise are a nightmare - telling you only what time the bus is due to leave it's origin and nothing else -the rest is guesswork. I caught the bus back to the airport but it was very late and by the time we got to San Sebastian to change it had missed the connecting service! €40 taxi fee then to the airport!! Options for food both to eat out and to buy something to cook are limited without a good walk as well - which is a price willing to pay for such an idyllic location, but may catch out the unwary.

Tranquil getaway - experience Canarian Culture

Great accommodation, lovely staff - so helpful and friendly and set in an idyllic location. Stunning mountain views from bed ! Well appointed kitchen with lounges on site for relaxing. Lovely pool and well kept poolside, although I didn't use it on this trip as too cool. Excellent local restaurants provide wonderful opportunities to sample local traditional food. Location is a little isolated unless you have a car as the bus service is great (and cheap) but infrequent throughout the day. Due to the location on the northeast side of the island it is cloudier and cooler than the south. From port to apartment about 25 euros in a cab.

A walkers hotel in a picturesque area

Lovely rooms (we saw two as we were asked to move bedrooms and received a half bottle of wine for the inconvenience). Breakfast was delivered to our room which was convenient, but it wasn't very exciting and of course it prevented us choosing what we might have wanted to eat. Good picnic lunch was made for us by request and the evening meal was nice food. However, we had difficulty finding the restaurant in the dark as it was located quite a way from our room, down the road and was poorly signed. This hotel would suit active, mobile people, it is really a walkers hotel as it is spread about down the road. Beautiful area though and free wifi. I also liked the 'sharing' cupboard where guests could put unwanted spare dry foods/drinks and take what they wanted, such a good idea.

Alles war mittelmäßig, aber wir waren eigentlich damit zufrieden. Viel Platz und korrektes Material für eine kleine hübsche Wohnung. Das ganze wäre jetzt einer guter Renovation bedürftig...
Wie oft sind täuschende Angaben und Fotos. Niemand sagt das das Häuschen direkt auf die Hauptstrasse gibt eher als auf den Swimmingpool...
Der Unterhalt ist nicht gut und der Roomservice schlecht.
Das schlimmste war das man uns am letzen Tag belästigt hat mit einer scheinbar schlechten Buchung: wir sollten dringend vorbei um das zu regeln da wir aber auf einem andren Teil der Insel marschierten.
Die Beziehung mit Hotels.com ist auch, in sich eine Katastrophe: wir hoffen nie wieder mit Euch zu tun haben!!!!

Lovely surroundings and cute hotell

Very nice hotell with a lovely pool area with hammocks, great view, lovely surroundings and very cute rooms. Unforfutantely we were there during the storm and did'nt really get to try out the pool area.
The staff answered our requests quickly and were very polite.
The only problem was that the hotell walls are very thin and there is animals all around, so we ended up waking up really early the entire stay beacuse of roosters, dogs, sheeps etc. But if you are a morning person or your stay is not too long, it is probably not that big of a problem.
Overall our stay was nice (despite some lack of sleep) and we will probably choose the same hotell again next time we visit La Gomera (at least for some of the days).

Tolle kleine Unterkunft mit Pool. Appartment mit Schlafraum, Wohnküche, Balkon und Badezimmer. Frühstück unbedingt mitbestellen. Wird morgens direkt vors Appartment geliefert. Lecker!
Auch unbedingt Mietwagen buchen, da man sonst zu sehr auf Busse, die nur selten fahren, angewiesen ist. Gute Restaurants vor Ort.

Hôtel très bien situé sur l'île de la Gomera et dans la superbe vallée de Hermigua.
Chambre appart très propre et très bien équipée dans le petit coin cuisine.
La vue sur les champs de bananes et les crêtes embrumées est magnifique.
L'accueil et le service sont irréprochables.
Le petit déjeuner est livré sur un plateau devant la chambre. Celui ci est complet, copieux et avec des produits locaux.
Nous n'avons pas testé la piscine par manque de temps mais elle se trouve dans un beau jardin bien entretenue.
Le restaurant se trouvant à 2 min à pied est vraiment bien également.

Súper recomendable ! Estuvimos en nido 1, una especie de apartamento suit…. Con típico balcón canario …. Y en general estaba limpio, reformado , cuidado… con todo lo necesario. Las vistas increíbles…. Y contratábamos el desayuno … muy asequible , y desde el balcón con vistas a la montaña el café recién hecho de lujo !!!!
Utilizábamos la piscina cus el veníamos de nuestras salidas…. Tb muy chula, ubicada en el entorno idílico… con vistas increíbles y relax total ))) en total hemos estado 6 días en la gomera y durmiendo allí… y lo recomendaría como de los pueblos con más servicio … bonito , fácil para llegar a otros sitios como al parque de garajonay …

Tranquilidad, limpieza, apartamento coqueto, justito para2 pers.
Colchones incomodos. Escasez de utensilios de cocina, solo 2 tenedores, 2 cucharas. etc falta un enchufe en la cocina ( para tostadora, hervidor etc...).
Covid en la recepción: no te aceptan recogee el DNI de tu mano, luego lo manosean a gusto y te lo devuelven tal cual. Les recuerdo que nosotros venimos con una PCR y ellos no! Me parece paradoxal, sobretodo cuando nos lo hubieran podido pedir de forma digital como los demas establecimientos lo hicieron. Son detalles pero hacen la diferencia en el trato.

Me ha gustado mucho. Es un sitio muy tranquilo, apenas hay ruido. La habitación acogedora. Las zonas comunes tienen muy buena pinta pero ahora con la pandemia están muy poco concurridas. La terracita y la ventana de mi habitación daban a las plataneras. Es un gusto desayunar mirándolas.
La cocinita estaba muy bien equipada. Por poner una pega, la nevera hacía ruido de vez en cuando.

Cet hébergement (divisé en deux blocs dont l'un possède une piscine) se trouve très bien placé dans la vallée d'Hermigua, le long de la route principale, dans un lieu très paisible et à l'abri d'un soleil tapant continu. El apartamento está dispuesto con un carácter rural y sencillo en un entorno hermoso e impresionante. Debido a la estructura geológica de la isla resulta difícil la comunicación con el aeropuerto y con San Sebastián para un conductor poco acostumbrado. El motivo personal para nuestra estancia no era senderismo sino acudir a un concierto en el Salón de Plenos en el Cabildo.

Die Wohnung oben in der Ecke rechts (Apt. 410) hat einen traumhaften Blick auf die Bananenfelder, außerdem ist sie am Ende des Ganges und damit ruhig. Wir haben nur morgens ab 8:00 manchmal die Putzfrauen gehört, aber das war nicht weiter schlimm.

Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt und die Rezeption war auch immer hilfsbereit.

Es gab auch einen Salon mit kostenlosen Kaffee durch eine Padmaschine und Teebeutel.

Kann die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Peaceful vacation with nice views

Apartamentos Los Telares was a really nice place to stay during La Gomera vacation. The room had a wonderful view to the mountains and banana plantations, we loved that. Everything was clean and worked well, and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was served on a tray outside the room which was a nice idea (food was okay, nothing very special: bread with toppings, fruits, juice and coffee). The staff was helpful and spoke multiple languages fluently. There were also nice living room areas and a yoga room. The pool area was really beautiful with flowers and decorations, although we didn't use it much as it wasn't that warm in the village and water in the pool was not heated (at the beach the weather is much warmer – it seems that the closer to the middle of the island you go, the colder the weather will be).
You can spend a lovely and peaceful vacation in Apartamentos Los Telares enjoying yoga, trail running and trekking. There is also a really high-quality restaurant nearby (Chacaras), and 2-4 other restaurants couple of kilometres away. There is quite a long distances to go shopping or to the beach, so renting a car is recommended (a few hundred meters to nearest grocery store and 3km to Spar, 3-5km to the other restaurants than Chacaras, 8km to the nearest beach).

Apartamento con menaje muy completo.
El apartamento necesita arreglar cosas de mantenimiento. La madera de debajo de la cocina avisamos y despues de las vacaciones seguía en el suelo. Otras cosas si que avisamos y la misma recepcion se ocupó de arreglarlo.
Un gran detalle el del café o infusiones.
Tambien nos gusto el.prestamos de palos de senderismo.
Personal de recepcion y limpieza excelentes.

Los apartamentos los Telares estan situados en Hermigua,el mejor municipio situado para ver toda la Gomera. Los apartamentos disponen de todo para tener una de las mejores estancias. Con piscina, solarium con hamacas y sillones y sobre todo un gran salon con una zona para realizar Yoga con pelota y colchonetas y a nuestra disposicion gratuita café, té y galletas típicas de la Gomera que son toda una delicia. El municipio tiene muy cerca el parque nacional de Garajonay y la piscina natural el pescante que es maravillosa. Un Spar, dulceria, centro de salud, farmacia, restaurantes, museo, el molino donde comprar uno de los mejores gofios que he probado. Muchísimas rutas de senderismo y desde el apartamento unas vistas al valle preciosas. La próxima sin duda será en Hermigua y en los Telares.

Very nice place to stay with a lovely view of the valley but with sounds of roosters and barking dogs. Some kitchen ware was in bad shape but it was replaced on request. Lovely pool area on the other side of the road. We came to Hermigua to hike. Perfect location for that as marked trails started just outside the door. Would like to come back.

Bellissima struttura nella valle di Hermigua.

Camere spaziose con vista sulle montagne. Bagno con ampia doccia. Buona e abbondante la colazione. Bella la vallata di Hermigua.

El enclave es bonito. No hay ocio alrededor, solo algún restaurante para las cenas pero hay que coger el coche. Los embutidos del desayuno son jamón York o salami o un embudo que yo no conocía y no está muy rico. Recomiendo comprar en el súper y hacer tu propio desayuno, hay exprimidor y cafetera italiana. Los colchones son mejorables

Agradables apartamentos con vistas al barranco

Apartamentos tranquilos y agradables con vistas al barranco, buen punto de partida para las excursiones en el parque Garajonay.
El horario de recepción es solamente hasta las 14h de lunes a sábado, (una sola recepcionista,
muy agradable) pero realmente escaso.
Dos pequeños detalles: Te quedas pegado literalmente a las sillas y la mesa del apartamento (tal vez por el barniz), con respecto las toallas, algunas están hechas ya Girones, debieran renovarlas.

Ideal para descansar.

Nos alojamos en el mejor municipio de la isla, donde es muy tranquilo y acogedor, es un hotel ideal para descansar y pasar el día en el y sus instalaciones secundarias, como la piscina.
