An amazing hotel. Beautifully laid out over a large area. Wonderful amenities with many different places to eat and drink. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Fantastic breakfast, huge choice of food. Very comfortable rooms and beds, well equipped with good views. Thoroughly recommend for anyone spending their holiday on Rhodes.

Complex is beautiful and staff can't help enough. The breakfast was amazing with a great selection, my only though is if you pay for the adult section of the complex that works great but bear in mind although there are two breakfast areas you will be surrounded by families with children and babies every morning for breakfast. Maybe in the future they could use the small area for adults only!

This hotel is set in nice landscaped gardens.The rooms are spacious.There is plenty of choice of food.The dinning room does struggle to cope with the volume of people at times.
The pools are interconnected so were really cold in April.The indoor pool was also cold and full of children cannon balling.Perhaps a kids only time would help.I also think the sauna and steam room should be free.
There needs to be a rethink on facilities for teens.There is one table tennis table and one tennis court and one multi court and mini golf.The tennis court cannot be booked between 3 and 5pm as this is quite time so there are really not many slots available.They also need some new balls as they did not bounce. There were also not enough golf balls for each player for the mini golf.The Coffee house is great with nice cakes but understaffed.
Overall a nice break and with a bit more attention to detail could be an exceptional hotel.

We had a short Easter holiday break as a family. The staff were always friendly, attentive and helpful. The reception staff were at hand for any queries.

The food at the restaurants had variety and catered for our needs more than adequately. My kids enjoyed the pool and we loved the location. We would definitely like to stay again.

We been to this hotel five times and every time it’s been excellent. The hotel is very well maintained and the dining options are great with lots of variety. Ask to see the chef if you have dietary requirements they are extremely helpful. The staff in the main restaurant are amazing they really make you feel at home. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Wonderful stay at La Marquise. I was at the hotel for a wedding and it was so well organused, the food was amazing, the setting absolutely beautiful. I was upgraded to a room with a private pool which was like being a very rich person for a few days 😆
There was easy access to the beach, bus stops right outside the hotel. Breakfast was really, really good as were the cocktails. The hotel was scrupulously clean and despite arriving after midnight the staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The arrival.snack was very much appreciated as well! All in all it was a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, at one of the most expensive rooms offered, prive pool and all. We love Rhodes and stayed at many hotels there. In general, the overall service was mediocre, from the receptionists to the waiters. The hotel staff was not friendly in general (with a couple of exceptions), and it felt like they preferred to be somewhere else..

A nice hotel but don’t think it’s 5 star unfortunately. The staff were fine but not particularly welcoming or friendly (despite a couple of guys at the gondola bar). Some of the food was really poor quality or cheap alternatives (powdered eggs??!) and the system for booking into restaurants (including buffet) seemed unnecessarily complicated and pointless. The pools looked lovely by design but once in them the grouting on all the tiling was very dirty. There was also a pool attendant(?) around who’s role seemed to be telling people off for seemingly insignificant things. Drinks served in horrible paper cups to take away (alchoholic). Mini bars in room but no drinks (not even water) supplied so had to purchase this at on site shop. Had a mix up with our room which basically took almost a day to sort and when you are only there for a week that’s quite a large chunk of time we were hanging around. Beach area was old and tired and no longer all inclusive as it was “open to the public”despite everyone being there having to arrive through hotel underground tunnel and everyone had our hotel towels, just felt like a money grab for absolutely no reason. Feels harsh to write this but I think for the 5 star and price tags that are supposed to come with this hotel, it’s not up to standard. We’ve been fortunate to stay in other really lovely places that had more substance than here. Perfectly fine 3 or 4 star hotel but not 5 star and not worth what we paid unfortunately.

The hotel is very commercialised and did not want to accommodate any special requests. Reception staff and front office staff are unfriendly. Special thanks to the main chef as he catered for our dietary requirements. The entertainment team were friendly, polite and the activities organised were good.

Staff was really nice especially with the kids (except 2-3 specific people), swimming pool in the lagon is big and there was always room left in and around the pool. The kids pool is really nice for babies. We found the restaurants / food really good for an all inclusive hotel (a lot of choice, tasty).
Our room was located on the 1st floor of the main building (the oldest one it seems), right above the kitchens of the main restaurant. It was really noisy, we were waking up around 6:30 AM every day because of the noise in the restaurant, we were able to hear music from the kitchens in our bathroom through the ventilation. Bathroom was a bit old / poorly renovated for a 5-star hotel.

With that said, we had a great time at the hotel La Marquise, our kids loved it.

We stayed in early May 2022 which was off season. All the staff were incredibly helpful. We were 4 friends staying in 2 suites. There were 2x double beds when we first arrived, instead of 4 singles, but one call and this was changed immediately. Nothing was too much for the staff. They booked taxis, gave beach and restaurant recommendations, etc. The hotel wasn't very busy, as I assume it could get in the peak of summer. Breakfast had a huge selection. There were multiple pools on offer, for families, adults and groups. As the beach/beach bar was across the road, there was a golf cart to take you there and back, even thought it was a short-ish walk. An example of them having thought the customer service component through. Would definitely stay there again. One small comment which could be improved was the lack of food service on the 3rd floor pool bar. Not a big deal, as you could eat your own food there. The grounds are v. impressive. We didn't get to see all the hotel and we were there for 4 days! Incredibly well kept grounds and grass was lush throughout (not the easiest in v. hot Greek islands) and impeccably clean.

The room and facility is great, comforatble and quite relaxing. Breakfast is nice, French and Grilled restaurant are great... BUT
The recpetion staff needs an improvment in their attitude and the knowledge regarding the island and hotel functions. Misleading.
Not enough activities for kids, youth and also adults.
All TV programs cost money with a black card - quite surprising

Wonderful relaxing stay

Excellent welcome, safety measures, and cleanliness as well as wonderful staff. We were so impressed with the management of dining and exquisite food at La Etoile restaurant (& manager Mr. Apostolakis and skilled chefs for a special lobster night), the care for our gluten-free food needs at all the dining facilities, the friendliness of servers, hotel staff and staff at gift shops, markets and beach facilities. The choice of pools gave the option of more family-friendly areas, adult only, or we enjoyed the pool on the 3rd floor of the main building which was not far from our suite with a balcony view. We felt comfortable and well cared for during our wonderful relaxing stay.

Overall it is a very good and clean hotel. The staff is really friendly and the whole atmosphere is relaxing.
In my opinion the only big problem is the temperature of the main pool, very very cold...
And the mini golf...hardly deserves that name.
But it's definitely worth it's money!

We were given a very far room, to walk a lot, did not consider our requests at all. The receptionists are not nice at all, talking with disdain and disrespect. We didn't change linens, just arranged them, Don't clean the room at all, we were a couple in the room and we were given one towel. The air conditioner every morning made problems and stopped working. The pool is very cold !!
Overall the hotel is very nice but I would not rate it 5 stars.

A Great Hotel

A really good, clean and very well managed hotel, suitable for adults only or adults with children. The many pools around the resort ensured that there were sunbeds for all. The hotel's beach was short walk down the road and provided many free sunbeds for all. Although many people were enjoying the resort, we never felt overcrowded (I can't stand crowds or queues).

We would highly recommend this resort.

bad value for money - DO NOT VISIT!!!

Every year I visit in Rhodes. Allways in five stars hotels.
Never had such bad experience.

I traveled with my wife and baby girl.
I booked Superior Room with Pool View.
According to the reservation the room included Two Twin and One Sofa Bed.
When we arrived we told that our room upgraded.
I went to see the room and instead of pool view we had main road view and the room was located in the main building, no way near the pool area.
I went back to reception and ask for my 'not upgraded' room - the one that I paid for.
The guy in the reception told me that there are no room left and if I want I can cancel my reservation and leave. He was walking back and forth acting like a high school gangster. So embarrassing.
We had no choice but to wait to the next day and ask again for the room we booked.
Over night more groups arrived and they got room no question ask.
On the next day we received room near the pool.
It was the smelliest and smallest room I ever stayed in.
It was no way near the size of the specified reservation room.
No place for Sofa, no place for anything but a bed and closet.
I decided to let it be. i didn't want to waste all my vacation on argument with gangster wannabe reception guy.

Beyond that, most the food is repit itself almost every day and the stuff locking very tired.

very good family hotel in Rhodes. The family room has two separate rooms- very convenient.
The food is good, also good service. There are shows at night.
There is a dressing code for dinner , with long pants - we didn't Know about that in advance. Our boy, 16 years old, brought with him only nice shorts, and he had to dress his father pants .

The room setting was lovely. The pools fabulous. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast choice was fantastic. We had lunch at the pool bar which was really good and we ate at the dinner buffet which again was fabulous. The choice of food was excellent. The entertainment for children was great and if you wanted to participate in pool fitness classes you could. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean and a great location. Would definitely stay there again.

The location of this property is quiet but easily accessible and within a short drive from the airport. Pool area is quiet and always free loungers. Down side is kids evening club is in the adult bar area where i would have preferred to enjoy a cocktail after dinner without hearing the same kids songs. Needs a seperate room

The hotel is nice, very family-oriented. The pool is great but the access to the beach requires some effort which is a big minus.
All inclusive package is not worth it - you get some of the things only if you book it for 7+ days (which is misleading) and overall the food is not good.
Bottom line - mostly good for families and don't pay for all-inclusive.

Beautiful clean beachside hotel.

The hotel is very nice, very clean, the rooms are well decorated, the pools are all around you. The staff was very polite, many of them multilingual. The food was plenty, good and healthy choices were available. There were few other 5 stars hotels in the vencinity, however , this hotel stood up as the most spacious one.
One other hotel nearby had a Waterpark, unfortunately we did not have excess to that one and the Rhodes waterpark was already closed because of the end of season.
The beds had good side, on the other hand we find a bit hard for comfort.
The location was practical in one hand because it's aproximity to the airport, Rhodes town, on the other hand the weather in the southern part of the island is warmer and sunnier this time of the year, so a more southern location would have been a bit better.

5 star resort with 2 star service

Hotel it's self was nice but if you want to do anything there it's either too expensive or just hard to do. To play a game of billiards it cost $3 a game. We repeatedly tried to get a basketball and they said it was out but no one was playing. So they only have 1 or no balls. We had to call 5 times for sheets for the pullout couch. We paid $75 to wash just a few things and they said we'd have back the next day but it took more then 2 days and they lost some of my items. etc I would not recommend!

Relaxing break but little to do in the area. Lovely trip to the Old Town on the sea ferry.

The adult area was not accessible to all so we found the family pool area not so inviting as our visit in the previous year. The water is very shallow and not easy to swim in.

Fantastic Family Holiday

We stayed at La Marquise all inclusive for 2 weeks in August 2016. It was very hot but there was a constant breeze keeping us cool. My 18 year old bot and 16 year old girl enjoyed the animation team's attempts to entertain them and for more fun they headed into Faliraki a few nights.

Really clean well run hotel with a nice varied food selection. Huge pool complex, clean and well maintained albeit watch the tiles around the pool as it can be a bit slippery.

We used the spa and gym with its own out and indoor pool a lot. We made great use of the free WIFI to watch the Olympics (via a VPN tunnel).

There is access to a private beach with a short walk or jump on the constant gold buggies being driven around to ferry you at request. From the beach to the left and right there are boat trips (scenic and snorkel) and watersports hire, paragliding etc

Beautiful, relaxing, romantic break

Overall a beautiful, relaxing break with very minor qualms. Would recommend a day trip to the old town (~30 mins via the bus stop outside the hotel for 2.40euros pp). If clubbing/ bars is your thing, Faliraki is 15 mins bus ride away for 1.20eurospp or 10euros in a taxi each way.

Pros:
- Beautifully decorated and peaceful remote hotel
- Large, comfortable, very clean rooms with multichannel TVs
- Extremely helpful and polite staff
- Lots of facilities: mini kids club, basketball court, tennis court, mini golf, 5 pools, beach nearby, evening entertainment
- 5 minutes to the beach through a hotel passage
- Amazing breakfast with huge variety
- Very quiet and relaxing away from the noise of Faliraki but an easy trip there when you want to go somewhere a bit more lively

Cons:
- Pool was freezing (should be heated when it’s that cold!)
- Double bed was two twins pushed together with separate duvets
- We stayed on the second floor of the main hotel and could hear the evening entertainment above our heads until late then the scraping of chairs first thing in the morning
- Beach is a sand and pebble beach (not the hotel’s fault but also worth knowing)

beautiful resort with amazing service

When we first arrived to the hotel they told us our rooms will be ready in an hour, so until than they welcomed us to join breakfast for free. Nikos, one of the managers was amazing, he made sure that our staying will be the best, he even made fresh fruit cream for our baby every morning! In general the crew was very nice and... The swimming pool is so big, beautiful and very clean! So is all the rest of the facilities. We had so much fun!!

Dining rooms system not clear, we couldn't eat close to our room, had to go to the main dining hall.

The beach is in a walking distance, nice beach but in Rhodes there are better beaches.

Very good food and spacious accommodation. The stuff wanted 22 euro for a late check out of 1 hour,Thanks to Costumer relation lady the issue was resolved.The pool is huge and it was a lot of space.The beach is nice,needed to drive there with a golf car and wait 20 min each time for a ride.There was a problem with a a locking indication of the door,although We complaint about it nothing was done.The shower was licking from the door sealer.

Luxury hotel but very disappointed in room comfort

I recently stayed at La Marquise for a friends wedding. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are accommodating, and the wedding was put managed excellently. However my time was somewhat spoiled by constant faults with my room. Upon arrival i was 'luckily' upgraded to a junior suite. I was thrilled at the size of the room and the facilities, however the next day I was informed from other members of the wedding party, that they had already stayed in that room and left due to lack of air conditioning. After my first night I complained and they had someone 'fix' it, even leaving a note informing the problem had been resolved. The 2nd evening of my stay I soon realized that it was not fixed and after calling and being told they couldn't do anything about it until the morning and there was no other rooms available, I had a very uncomfortable evening at 28 degrees all night. After arguing with the front desk the next day an alternative room suddenly become available. Unfortunately this room was also fairly warm at a constant 26.5 degrees even with the 'ac' on. I do understand that facilities break and can be temperamental, my issue was with the hotel knowingly putting me in a faulty room and then selling it to me as luck that I was upgraded.

Choose another hotel! Better options close by.

Let me start by saying that this is a nice hotel but compared to all inclusives around the world, this one is severely lacking in several areas. All inclusive is a very loose term apparently. You can eat at 1 restaurant and your drinks are relegated to the bottom shelf menu and not the paying customer menu, and I am not talking about top shelf alcohol. Bacardi rum, not included and that is a $10 bottle of alcohol. If you have heard of it, it is not included. You also are not allowed to eat at their nicer restaurants, you are stuck with the Buffet. If you are going to have an all inclusive, make it so, not a partial inclusive and treat your inclusive customers as \"we already got there money, now how little can we truly provide.\" They have a long way to go to be on par with the even middle of the road, similar resorts.

The staff there need to take a starter course in customer service. Arguing in front of the customers, being disorganized and lacking in general customer service related skills was rampant. Our Tv's did not work and the AC was not working either...\"it will have to wait until tomorrow\" And when the AC stopped working again we slept with our door open for 3 nights because dealing with the sub par staff was not a winning alternative.

The only plus I would say for this hotel is that the Buffet and the food there was very good. But that does not make up for the numerous shortcomings at this hotel.

Take money and run

I appreciate that most of Greece has a very simple model: we will be in demand regardless of how happy our customers are - if you are unhappy, we'll sell to somebody else.

In a nutshell, in a decent country (US for example) this resort would be out of the business in no time.

For a five star place, these are not okay:
- You cannot control the temperature in the room. AC only allows cooling the room, but not heating it.
- We asked for a portable heater. Had to wait for a full day for the hotel to procure it. It was one very cold night.
- We could not get extra blankets for our room.
- The soap wasn't replaced. 5 nights for a family of four on one small soap. Luckily we had our own.
- All-inclusive lunch was only possible at the outdoor restaurant regardless of weather. One day it was 15C with strong wind and we could only eat in that outdoor place.
- No mini-bar. One bottle of complimentary water was provided for a 5-day stay.
- Indoor pool accessible to children only between 10AM and 2PM.

That kind of hospitailty would not survive a fortnight somewhere else.

We stayed in the adults only area in a room with a pool view. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and the balcony to the pool is very pleasant ! The bathroom is very large and comfort. Breakfast is good and wealthy. The only bad thing I got to say it that they requested 3 EUR for ice when ordering from the room service.. we had to go to the main bar to get some...

Beautiful resort

Positive: The resort facilities are brand new. We got an upgrade from a Junior suite to a VIP panoramic suite as it was low season (start of April) and we were delighted with it, private pool included :-) Breakfast was included in our booking and the buffet was very good & varied. We had dinner (buffet and a choice of fish or meat as main dish) twice at the hotel's main restaurant Da Vinci and thought that the quality was good and it was good value for money. Negative: There was a problem with the aircon in the room which caused a leak with an annoying noise one of the nights but it was fixed pretty quickly. As it was the start of the season the bus service was not working yet and we had to use taxis to visit Rhodes town (15-minute taxi ride). Just fyi: the taxi fare will include a commission when booked from the hotel. In general, we were very happy with the hotel premises and service.

very nice place across from the road from the beach. Low rise buildings between swimming pools. Much better than other high rise hotels in the neighborhood. Great breakfast and wonderful staff working in dinning area.

1. It did not give you any 5-star feeling. You are not received by any employee who helps you with the baggage from taxi to the reception. 2. Reception ppl was very strange - no 5-star feeling there either. They kept information abt what we could get in our no worries package which is NOT all inclusive. 3. Same food for 4 days, then they start over again. For us who where there for 2 weeks it got borring. 4. They do not clean the room proper at all. We who had a baby with us - this was not ok! We could not let the baby on the floor. 5. Bar - only the team leader was good at his work, but everyone under him was soooo lazy! 6. We will not choose this hotel again. You paid to much. We will rate this as 4-star hotel. No proper cleaning, no service. Only good thing was the pool and other guests.

Fantastic family holiday

The hotel was beautiful and big. It has all the facilities and very friendly staff. The food was great a very big variety of non veg and vegetarian food. The rooms were clean as well as the rest of the areas. Had a lot of facilities for kids. Had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Hatte Halbpension.Frühstück war mittelmässig. Auswahl nur Basic.Abendessen war ok. Die Restaurants im Hotel wo man extra bezahlen musste waren besser.
Zimmer war mittelmässig sauber. Nicht 5 sterne standard. Toilette, Handtücher dreckig.In den Schränken waren sehr viele Spinnenweben. Musste somit aus dem Koffer leben weil ich nicht die Kinderkleider da einräumen wollte. Ich hatte eine Suite Mit swim up. Was fast doppelt soviel gekostet hat wie ein normales Zimmer. Da erwartet man auch Comfort. Schloss/ Karte nicht funktioniert hab dann ein Schlüssel bekommen. Schloss wurde nicht repariert.Elektrizität wurde nicht repariert.Ich konnte mein Zimmer nicht auf „ don‘t disturb“ einstellen. Somit ist ständig roomservice reingekommen und mein Kind beim schlafen gestört. Meine Kinder waren krank haben keine Ruhe gefunden. Safe ging immer von alleine auf. Waren Tag eins unzufrieden. Beim Beschweren hatte man eher das Gefühl das die Leute an der Rezeption genervt waren. Jeden Tag aufs neue hat i.was nicht funktioniert. I.wann wollte man auch nicht mehr was sagen weil man sich nicht komplett unbeliebt machen wollte am Do haben wir endlich die Managerin erwischt und haben dann alles aufgezählt was nicht ok war. Sie meinte nur warum wir nicht früher gekommen sind. Sie hat uns dann all inclusive als Entschädigung gegeben. Aber wir reisen ja am SA ab. Also hatten wir für Do und Fr All inclusive. Habens aber nicht genutzt weil wir Ausflüge geplant haben. Preis Leistung ist hier katastrophal.

Nous avons passé sept jours dans cet hôtel adapté aux familles.
Les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien équipées. Dommage que les wc ne soient pas séparés. Les espaces collectifs sont agréables et haut de gamme.
Le petit déjeuner est très complet et de bonne qualité.
La piscine intérieure et la salle de sport sont très agréables au mois d’avril.
Expérience en avril qui doit être toute autre en été au regard des capacités d’accueil de l’hôtel.
L’hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter l’île et dispose d’une très belle plage privée.

Pour les bémols,
Le classement 5 étoiles est peut être un peu flatteur.
Faire payer le hamamm et le sauna (15€/h) est inconcevable dans un 5 étoiles. Le jacuzzi ne fonctionne pas parfaitement.
Le personnel, notamment à la réception, n’est pas très agréable (à l’exception de Hasan au petit déjeuner qui est formidable) ; tout l'inverse des locaux.
Les tarifs de la restauration sont très élevés pour la Grèce.
Il y a une odeur de nourriture dans l’ensemble des couloirs ce qui n’est pas très agréable tout comme la réceptionniste qui fume dans le bureau.
Cet hôtel reste une belle expérience que nous pourrions renouveler.

Huone oli todella kylmä, jouduimme pyytämään erillisen lämmityslaitteen huoneeseen. Huone oli muutenkin parhaat päivänsä nähnyt. Likainen ja jouduimme pyytämään kaksi kertaa wc pönttöön korjausta ja kerran lavuaarin hanaan.

Wir hatten eine Juniorsuite mit Meerblick im Haupthaus gebucht und diese auch bekommen. Jedoch der Meerblick war nichts, da man auf den Balkon gehen musste und dann konnte man seitlich das Meer sehen. Aus dem Zimmer schauten wir auf das hässliche Dach des Haupthauses, was uns am ersten Tag gestört hat. Wir waren enttäuscht! Die Suite war aber schön und ruhig gelegen. Nach kurzer Eingewöhnungszeit waren wir dennoch sehr zufrieden. Personal ist extrem freundlich beim Frühstück. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Schöner Strand mit kostenlosen Liegen und Schirmen.

Absolument tout était parfait . L'hôtel est d'une propreté irréprochable . Le personnel est très souriant , toujours aimable et sérieux dans le travail . Les piscines ont fantastiques . La chambre était vaste , très propre et confortable hormis le bruit de la vmc de la salle de bain heureusement déconnectable . Les lits sont confortables . Les repas sous forme de buffets sont variés et excellents . Il y en a pour tous les goûts .L'emplacement est idéal , pas trop loin de Rhodes et des plus belles plages de la côte est . Cet hôtel présente un niveau de confort , de beauté et de calme bien supérieurs à nombre d'établissements grecs . Je le recommande fortement .

Ein richtiger Traumurlaub - die Unterkunft, alle Speisen, der grandiose Service, Freundlichkeit..... Wir waren für 2 Wochen mit 4 Personen - und nächstes Jahr werden wir gerne wieder kommen - allerdings haben wir unsere Erfahrung so positiv geteilt, dass unsere Freunde auch mit wollen, und wir daher nächstes Jahr eine grosse Gruppe werden um dieses Erlebnis URLAUB zu genießen.

Wir hatten 14 sehr schöne Urlaubstage in diese Anlage. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen in den verschiedenen Restaurants ist sehr abwechslungsreich und auf einem sehr guten Niveau. Auch hier wurde uns jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen.

Huoneen ilmastointi oli rikki, suihkupään pidike oli rikki, jonka takia vedet lensi ympäriinsä, wc pöntön huuhtelupainike jäi jumiin monta kertaa.

Huoneen siisteys oli keskinkertainen.

Palvelualttiutta ei ollut lukuunottamatta kuljettajia (hotellialue iso ja he veivät huoneeseen, sekä yksityisrannalle.)

Kaiken kaikkiaan pettymys koko paikka. Odotimme viiden tähden resortilta enemmän.

Alue on hieno uima-altaineen ja aktiviteetteja löytyy, mutta muuta hyvää sanottavaa ei ole.
