Was a lovely experience, great staff... the only issue would be the pool was not open longer hours and not being able to see the children play as children should - eg; splashing in the pool - This is not an adult only facility, children should be able to play. Everything else was great.

Best vacation EVER. Resort amenities and staff were anazing. Gorgeous direct beach views and access. Huge pool with plenty of loungers with umbrellas. We ordered drinks and food by the pool by using the QR Code on each umbrella post. Delivered quickly.
Room was recently remodeled. Comfy bed. Walk in shower. Overlooked the nightly lit pool and great view of the sea. Loungers were also available on the beach for guests.
The EMERALD restaurant serves huge amazing breakfast buffets each morning. Lovely choices of Greek foods and breakfast standards. Fresh squeezed juices, fancy coffees, champagne. Too many choices. The service manager, Manolis was extremely attentive. We definitely are considering returning next year. This 5 star resort knows how to make the guests feel special and very pampered.

Lovely hotel, staff and service were incredible. Great amenities and amazing to be right on beach. Bus stop right outside made it very easy to get to other spots on the island without a car. Buffet dinner quite expensive at €40 a head if not half board but good variety of options and food nice.

Our stay at this hotel was a bit disappointing overall. We felt that almost everything came with an extra charge — even using the luggage scale, which was frustrating. The reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. Whenever we had a question or needed help, they often spoke among themselves in Greek, which made us feel uncomfortable and excluded.

There also weren’t many activities available at the resort, which made the experience rather dull compared to what we expected.

However, I do want to highlight the housekeeping team — they were absolutely lovely. Always polite, cheerful and helpful, they really stood out and made our stay a bit more pleasant.

Unfortunately, aside from the housekeeping service, the overall experience didn’t live up to our expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at ER&S.
We were B&B, breakfast choices were superb and we purposely requested to be served in Mariela's section; a polite, welcoming, friedly young woman who the hotel would do well to promote to 'Customer Service Training Manager!'
Beautiful pools with an abundance of loungers and umbrellas.
We would happily return.

I got to see the renovated room and its a huge difference, so if choosing to stay make sure to ask for a renovated room. The current rooms are dated. The hotel is rated 5 star but its operated as a 3/4 star. Charging extra for Ketchup when ordering french fries, charging for the use of the sauna unless you're a platinum member leaves a bad taste. Also if you're booking through Hotels.com you cant become a platinum member. Also as part of the VIP gold status we should receive a room upgrade if available and yet our friends who booked directly with the hotel the same room type got the bigger renovated room

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are excellent and couldn’t be more polite, friendly and helpful. Room was perfect - spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, quiet, view over the sea. Breakfast was excellent. We only tried the buffet dinner twice but it was good food at a good price. We had drinks at the beach bar, upstairs lounge bar and the pool bar and they were all great. Both the beach and pool were lovely places to relax and spend the day. We will be returning to the Elysium next year and seeing more of Rhodes.

Property was nicely laid out and right on the beach. Had a small issue with the bathtub “jacuzzi” jets not working properly but the hotel staff were on it and worked it out. Added the VIP option and was happy I did. Special welcome, VIP breakfast area only and lounge access definitely enhanced the stay. The spa was also a nice touch. Only complaint is that there were no Greek olives to order at the restaurants and bars?!!

We had the best best best time staying in this gorgeous hotel!! It has a beautiful design, fabulous pools and a stunning private beach! We loved the nightly musical entertainment and friendly hotel staff- they were so accommodating with all our needs and extra requests!Only downside is that we had to pay for water, but can't fault anything else!

Nice hotel in general. Decent beach, but rocky so sea shoes are a must.
Isolated location is a bit of a double edged sword.....means it's relatively quiet and never overly crowded, but there is pretty much nothing within walking distance.
Bus services to Falaraki (a bit crap) and Rhodes Town (lovely), very good however.
Nothing is cheap, and a bit overpriced, but that's true of most places in Europe these days, I suppse.

Amazing hotel where 5 star has a true meaning.

We stayed in the Luxury Suite with Elite club access. The suite was fabulous and just like the photos. The only downside to the suite was one of the curtains was missing which had the living room not very private at night however the overall experience was incredible. We tried all the restaurants from the fine dining to the Fresh Dinner restaurant all of which were excellent. The special area for Elite club residents for breakfast each morning was fabulous with breathtaking views from the top floor. The outdoor pool was also very clean and of a big size for many to enjoy. Even though the hotel was full when we stayed it didnt feel that way. The staff were amazing as such you would expect in a 5 star resort. They were very attentive and could not do enough. Big shout out to the accommodation attendants who called twice a day to see if anything extra was needed. Overall a brilliant stay and we will be back...

Beach area should be leveled with a tractor daily so guests can walk the beach. The stones and pebbles make the walk very difficult. We would return in a heartbeat.

Entertainment was great, it was good that we could get the beach chair easily, despite the hotel was very busy, we did start very early due to very hot weather. There was good shopping options and good prices in the hotel
Eco wise too many towel changes, twice a day even if you do not ask for it and towels are very big

Another Fantastic Stay at the Elysium

From check in to check out the customer service provided was outstanding. This is our third visit to Elysium and each time it has been a true pleasure. Our upgraded room was amazing. Simply beautiful. Our room impeccably clean. Breakfast is very good, lunches around the pool or at Fresh Restaurant were excellent. I am pleased to write a positive review for this hotel. While we arrived a little early for check-in and the room was not up to par due to some timing issues, Elysium took accountability in a professional manner and we should have been more understanding of being early for check-in. After that and reading other reviews, I can counter any negative reviews by representing to my fellow travellers that the food is top notch with particular reference to the “stone grill” and the amenities are world class. The sauna, steam room and Crystal room help heal some of my injuries from a recent car accident in my country of origin. The staff were world class and we are thrilled that we resolved differences in a professional manner and had a blessed stay. The DJ and nightly music was top notch and the water was super clean and unique to Rhodes. We had stayed in Old Town before and Elysium has the best beach of all. For those being negative in any way about Elysium, they were likely being cheap and not realizing that being at a five star also requires you to pick the best dining that suits you. We stayed seven nights and are now in Crete, which many think is a bigger and better island, but are missing that Elysium and Rhodes. It is our go to as a couple in their 40s and honoured we found our go to in Rhodes and beyond. You can trust this review as we are seasoned five star travellers.

The Elysium Resort & Spa is an amazing place to stay. The property itself is well look after, well maintained and well located. What really differentiates this property are the staff - they are friendly and are customer focused. A special thank you to Anna and Emmanouela in the Elite club and to Michael and all his staff in the Elite Club breakfast dining. They were amazing and made our stay 10/10. A small issue we had on the first day was quickly dealt with by Anna and was done so with care and kindness. She is amazing and anyone who gets the opportunity to deal with her should count themselves lucky!

After a little confusion during check-in, the staff did their best to help us with our rooms, management even sent up a fruit platter for the inconvenience. It was a really nice touch. We were able to relax and enjoy the pool and beach. For a fully booked resort, the pool, never felt crowded. Like many resorts, you must put towel down early to reserve pool chairs. This unfortunately happens at so many resorts. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were wonderful. We never had to wait long for drinks at the pool bar. Overall, a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel. Sea views are beautiful,

Contrasting Experiences: A Review of Elysium Resor

My stay at the Elysium Resort & Spa Rodos Hotel had mixed experiences, overshadowed by disappointments. The hotel's prime seaside location and courteous staff stood out amidst the lackluster stay.

The culinary offerings were uninspired, lacking flavor, and overpriced. The hotel's restrictive policy disallowing outside food, especially after 23:00, added frustration.

Room discomfort was evident, with a bathroom window invading privacy and harsh lighting inconveniencing guests. Insufficient amenities, malfunctioning jacuzzi, uncomfortable mattresses, and non-functional lights further disappointed.

Soundproofing was lacking, allowing neighboring noises to disrupt comfort. Closely built balconies compromised privacy, with conversations and smoke seeping into rooms.

The slow Wi-Fi and poor elevator service were additional drawbacks. Exploring nearby attractions proved challenging due to the hotel's distant location, unreliable bus services, and steep car rental prices.

Despite these shortcomings, the staff's politeness and professionalism were commendable. The hotel's picturesque sea view and serene beachfront provided moments of solace.

In conclusion, the Elysium Resort & Spa Rodos Hotel needs significant improvements in dining, room amenities, soundproofing, and accessibility to nearby attractions. This review serves as constructive feedback to enhance the guest experience.

Lovely Beach Hotel

A beautiful hotel on the beach. The beach is not Sandy but pebbly, but nevertheless it’s still a beautiful hotel. There is no shuttle bus to Rhodes town, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you into Rhodes town and a 2.50 euros each way.

The hotel lay on a lovely breakfast and a large variety for vegetarians. Nicely surprised that they also had non dairy milk as well.

We booked one excursion from the hotel to Symi island and it was fairly priced as well. The hotel does do their best to make it a comfort stay for you.

I had an amazing time at elysium. I booked an elite room and had a great view. Room was clean and spacious and the treats provided were a nice surprise. I should mention the hallway. It was so breezy i would stay there for a while (because of the heat). It's s nice feeling coming out of the lift. Staff were great. I never had a below par service. The only negative i would add here is the limited food options when ordering room service. Other than that, everything was great. Would definetly return here.

This was our second time staying at the Elysium resort and it continues to exceed our expectations. Every staff member we encountered from the receptionists to the cleaning staff were welcoming, friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

The overall atmosphere was outstanding, rooms were clean, property was well maintained and the beach and pool were a great place to relax and enjoy the holidays.

I especially want to call out the exceptional crew at Alymara Beach Club during the day. Every time we had lunch or a drink it was like catching up with old friends. They were genuine and made us feel like we were part of their family and provided great recommendations. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to others visiting Rhodes

The property is beautiful. The lobby, the rooms, the outdoor pool area and beachfront also.
We really enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet with so much assortment and great and healthy food. The serving staff were wonderful, very accommodating and friendly.
The upper bar (forget the name) was great for late afternoon drinks and snacks, and the Noble restaurant tasting menu was wonderful too.
Overall it was a great experience and we are so happy we stayed here. Will definitely come back and also recommend it to others visiting Rhodes.

This hotel is beautiful. The location is great and easy to get to rhodes since the bus stop is right in front of the hotel entrance. There are multiple beaches within walking distance that have great spots for snorkling. The hotel was so clean and spacious. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff at the hotel were fantastic anytime we needed assistance or were eating a meal.

My only complaint is food is either hard to get or very expensive. If you dont upgrade to get dinner or lunch included it seems hard to find food without going into rhodes unless you want to pay alot at the hotel. Upgrading cost a decent amount to have the buffet dinner included. I understand this is not an all inclusive I just didnt realize how much more expensive food was at the hotel and how little options there were around the hotel.

The location is beautiful! The amenities are very nice. We only had buffet breakfast included which was really good, not dinner. Ate dinner at the rooftop restaurant for 40 Euro per person, not worth it! Small portions, soup was good, appetizers meh, main course left you still hungry and dessert was ok. Parking is free but limited, peak season would be a Sh!t show. Also, one of our bathroom toiletries was partially used upon our arrival.

Elysium was amazing. We stayed for 2 weeks and we loved it. The hotel was very clean and amenities were fantastic. Hotel staff were super friendly and professional. Special thanks to Anna from the reservations team, she gave us the best room that met all our requirements. Periandros the IT manager who make sure the network connection in room was 10/10. Penny the lifeguard for all her sightseeing and food recommendations (the best) and last but not least mr Evegenios for greeting us every morning with his smile and getting us our freddo cappuccinos to start our day. I highly recommend elysium and I would definitely go back!

I spent the best holidays ever.
The weather was ideal for a great sun tan.
The staff was so welcoming that I wish I had given a tip to everyone of them.
The buffet Emerald restaurant has a great variety of food to choose from.
We also had diner a few times at the more expensive restaurant Fresh. What a treat! from the Tomahawk steak for 2 to the stone grill options, and not to miss the dessert Gianduja( a tart, sesame feuilletine, creme and milk chocolate mousse.
no more paper to hang on the door handle if you don't want to be disturbed. just click on the inside switch and it shows red for the cleaner. you can unblock once you are ready for the them to clean.
I have met people who have been staying at Elysium for the last 5 years. So no disappointment.
The pool is heaven and once its closed at 6:30pm you just move to the beach which is another heaven. It is a pebbled beach, but the pebbles are so tiny that it is a pleasure to step on them.
The staff have a magic smile on them despite the very hot weather.
Im going back again.

I loved this property.. The hotel was immaculate and the staff extremely courteous. The buffet breakfast was unparalleled as well as the dinner buffet. Room serve was very prompt. Excellent hotel! Very nicely designed with relaxation in mind. One thing I would suggest is that they replace one or two of the live evening events (although very nice) with a DJ for some music to dance so you don't feel obliged to sit and watch the performers.

The hotel and staff are outstanding, immaculately cleaned, great food in all of the restaurants and an excellent beach of some of the clearest water I have ever seen!

A perfect hotel on a beautiful island

This hotel was absolutely phenomenal! We arrived early in the morning, well before check in, but were still ushered down to the Elite Club check in area as part of our room package. We were advised that the room would be ready a few hours early, and that we could go and enjoy some breakfast up on the rooftop dining area whilst we waited. We went and got a few things done e.g. car hire, checked out the beach etc. then headed back to get our room keys. We were kindly informed that we had received a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite. The staff all throughout the hotel were absolutely first class, and were so helpful with everything. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. We had 2 bathrooms, a large bedroom, lounge area and balcony overlooking the spa area and sea. This hotel has everything you could ever need. The restaurants are delightful, and if you really want to treat yourself, head upstairs to Noble for a 5-star degustation experience. The pools were amazing and we were daily users of the tennis court facilities. We even enjoyed an afternoon escaping from one of the hotel's 2 Escape Rooms just off from the lobby area. There is a supermarket attached around from the lobby which sells everything you need at very reasonable prices. All in all, this hotel was an absolute delight to stay at. It felt like our home away from home and couldn't have been more perfect.

If you like this sort of thing..

Kind of like being at a really nice Hyatt.. if you like that sort of thing. Good food. Great service. Impeccably maintained property.

My one knock: Check out time is noon.. and they were sure to let us know. Multiple times. calling our room at 12 sharp, then 12:15, and then sending somebody at 12:30 after we told reception at 12:15 we would be leaving in 15 minutes. It was objectively rude. Also, we checked out on a Sunday and place was nowhere near capacity.

My family and I went for a week vacation it has been by far the best experience. Lovely staff, great location, rooms were clean, beds are comfortable. Great ocean view. If we ever go back to Rhodes we will definitely stay here again. I truly recommend for families.

Excellent Hotel in Kalithea Area

Stayed for 1 night only but everything was smooth from check in to check out. Room, service and breakfast was excellent. I wish I could stay longer! Staff particularly friendly and helpful, too.

The hotel is very nice. Good pool & beach. Staff very friendly & helpful. I would suggest to have more Bali beds on the beach. Also, do a happy hour for the Crystal bar and/or reduce the price on drinks...very expensive at the moment hence the bar was empty!

Another Great Stay at the Elysium

Returned a year later and very much enjoyed the resort once again. We would definitely return and stay again. The room was great, we were pleased with our placement in the main building with a sea view. Housekeeping does an amazing job of not only keeping the rooms impeccably clean but the hotel public areas. We choose to only have breakfast versus half board and breakfast is excellent. Parking is easy, wi fi in in the room is very good, air conditioning works well and staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall very pleased.

Lovely Hotel

Really nice hotel, on the beach and with a really nice pool. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic.
Went to the restaurant on the top of the hotel for the tasting menu. Wish we'd have gone on a normal night as the \"Lobster tuesday\" tasting menu wasn't as nice as the normal one looked, but the view was great and again the service was brilliant.
Overall we had a really nice time and would definitely come back.

Thank you for the upgrade, customer services was excellent.

When you upgrade it would be nice to provide the full upgrade not partial.

Also waitering staff were arguing between themselves in Greek, not nice seeing and hearing them argue in front of guess and for those who understand Greek.

Good stay, some positives and some negatives

It depends what you are looking for but on Rhodes there isn’t a true luxury hotel like you would find in other parts of Greece. If you are looking for another Costa Navarino, this is not it, but it is a good hotel nevertheless. We had a suite and it was very clean, staff are very very helpful and largely make up for other deficiencies. The building itself looks like the Pentagon’s family summer base, but the grounds in front are nice. Pool is overcrowded and beach is better but tons of rocks (cant be cleaned as is a protected area). Faliraki, where the hotel is is a mass tourist area with hotel after hotel. These are focused on family tourism so the area is not trashy, but feels overbuilt nevertheless with huge hotels all around. The hotel is very helpful with cabs, no cab problems which you find on other Greek islands which is a great positive. Prices are not cheap but are fixed (€19 from Elysium to Rhodos Old Town and €16 for the return). The Old Town of Rhodos is really pretty. Would strongly recommend for the dinners too - Marco Polo Cafe is a real high quality place I didnt expect to find there. There are other good places (no special interiors but fantastic food) like Manolo’s in Faliraki. The hotel staff at reception is really helpful to list these and to book for you. We rented a boat for a day and it is cheaper than on other islands too. Elysium has a pretty good SPA which we tried to de-stress after the flights. All in all a good stay. A week is good, max 10 days

The beach was very close by and had excellent facilities especially for disabled people. They had staff specially appointed to help out disabled people to get in and out of the beach and the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall the stay at the resort was very pleasant and facilities were excellent. It was one of the best holidays we had. We are hoping to go there soon and stay at the same resort!

Wonderful Hotel close to the beach

Had a wonderful stay at the Elysium. Staff were so helpful, the resort was so relaxing, so clean and very beautiful.
Cannot wait to visit again.
