An OK stay next to the station at Perpignan

A one night stop over. The check in experience was quite underwhelming - no welcome smile and just the bare minimum of interaction. He also spoke to me in English - I am fluent in French and spoke to him in French. This is the only time this has happened to me in a long time. We also tried to get a drink at the bar - that was hard work. Even though the bar and the reception are the same room the 2 receptionists did not come over until we went to them. Pretty poor. The room was clean and well provisioned - just a little tight. The shower floor was a little spongy. Although the maintenance guy told me they were refitting these over this summer since they knew there was a problem. So that resolved the bathroom would be great.

The standard of the hotel was superb, and its access to the rail and bus stations couldn’t have been better. There were two places within the complex to get a snack, and a lovely restaurant just a few minutes walk away. I thoroughly recommend the hotel, which was clean and quiet, and very well served, with free still or sparking water on tap as well as excellent staff and facilities.

Stayed just one night to catch an ongoing train. Just a 1 minute walk to the Perpignan train station. A consideration if traveling with heavy bags: one must climb a flight of stairs to get to the reception desk; there are elevators to bring you from there to your room. Room was clean and had interesting astronaut themed decor. Lavazza coffee maker in the room was a plus (no milk or cream). Some lights were not working in our room (desk lamp, bedside reading light). Very clean.

Short break in Perpignan

I love this hotel! It is in the train station, obviously has all the transportation links you need. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the mini bar fully stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Perpignan

The room was incredibly spacious and very clean. Shower was amazing and the bed was super comfortable and a great size. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Location wise it's a bit of a trek into town but fabulous if you are planning to travel by train to the surrounding area. One niggle was that the safe in our room was not working. They did offer at reception to take care of our valuables but it's not as convenient as having a safe in your room.

The staff were helpful and friendly but the facilities were not very practical.
The shower screen is too short so the floor gets wet
The WiFi signal was inconsistent and difficult to connect to.
The air conditioning was noisy
No kettle or coffee and nowhere to get one nearby even at 8.30pm on Saturday evening
The washbasin design looks nice but is awkward to use.
I had to pay €50 for extras for tax, breakfast and parking. In the details it said parking was “available” but there was no mention of a charge, breakfast was not mentioned

Good place to stay, handy for the TGV/Eurostar

We stayed here for just a single night, without breakfast, on our late-night arrival off the Eurostar in Perpignan betore moving into an AirBnB. The room was well-equipped and comfortable once we worked out the aircon.
There was a minor issue over an apparent double-booking (no fault of ours or the hotel's) which the night staff did not have authority to sort out, but when we met a manageress next morning she was affable and helpful and got it all put right. No complaints

Just four minutes walk from station and about 15 minutes from old town but bus from station takes you into town for just over a Euro.
Hotel itself was perfect in every respect and we couldn’t fault it.

bests: strategic train station location and excellent breakfast buffet especially freshly squeezed orange juice, very clean room & bath and excellent bed
sad parts: stingy tissue paper and liquid soap supply I had to use my own emergency supply!!!!!, very very very slow internet wifi, both bedroom & bathroom are ill planned and very inefficient, reception staff needs charm & efficiency schooling

Nice hotel near transport

I thought at first it was a bit of a longish walk in the heat from the town centre, Hotel only does breakfast but it was very convenient for cheap travel to various towns by rail and coach - mostly 1 euro each way. there was also a free bus around town. The hotel only does breakfast. Supermarket downstairs does fruit and yoghourts etc which you can keep in room fridge. Staff very helpful and friendly. I did hear them speak English, but I used French so don't know how well they speak it

Great hotel pity about location

Beautiful hotel pity about the location so close to a run down part of the city backing on to the railway station. If you intend going into the old town do not walk at night, drive or get a taxi. It takes about 30 minutes to walk through some unsavoury looking streets.

I booked this because of its proximity to the train station (Gare). It was extremely convenient to get off a long ride from Paris and have the hotel right in the same building complex. The room appeared to have been recently remodeled and was beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We were getting a rental car in the afternoon and were able to store our bags in the interim.

Great room. Very comfortable - I wish I could take home the bed!

The only drawback was that our shower was broken - the shower head would not remain at the height we set it. The gasket was clearly already broken, and so we rigged it to stay at 2meters high. It kept sinking down to 1 m, and we nearly flooded the entire bathroom trying to take our shower. The shower was modern and didn't have a door, we had to use all our towels to mop it up. Sigh.

We had one of our best meals ever at a restaurant nearby, la cuisine des sentiments. Try it if you can.

Very clean and comfortable hotel right beside the railway station. Even though it is beside the station the hotel is very quiet inside. Friendly reception staff. Only downside is that the hotel does not have a restaurant or room service for the evening meal. The surrounding neighbourhood was very quiet and only had a pizza shop open for business.

Enjoyed our stay. Was traveling with my young adult grandson (age 24) and the room was large and comfortable. The bath was large, although it only had a shower but that was cool for both of us. This was one of the most comfortable hotels during our several weeks of traveling throughout Europe. We would definitely choose this hotel if we were visiting the area again.

It's funky. And spacey. Yes, space travel is a kind of theme. Our hotel room felt a bit like \"2001\" and complete with Marvin the Paranoid Anroid-esque desk lamp. And it's new. The city seems to have decided this area would be the focus of an urban revival. The hotel is in a complex of buildings connected to a state-of-the-art trains station. The immediate surroundings are only beginning to feel the business impact but there is one restaurant that is just a funky as the hotel but in a retro French/Catalan way. It's not obvious by looking down the street; trust the directions from the hotel staff.

The hotel is located next to Parginan train station and it is not a very nice neighborhood. If you don't have to be in Parginan don't go it is waste of time and money, drive a few more miles to the coast. The receptionist at the hotel was rude when I asked if the area is safe

We had a really enjoyable stay. Rooms of the Comfort hotel are a bit basic but functional, clean and new. The hotel is ideally located to visit Perpignan, a mere 15 minutes walk from the centre. Even better located if you intend to visit the region, as the hotel is part of the new gare tgv and adjacent the gare routière (regional buses): we went to a different beach every day and it was much cheaper than staying on expensive resorts of the Côte Vermeille. Following the advice of a receptionist, we also discovered a nice restaurant two minutes from the hotel, with tables arranged in an old courtyard, were we had two unforgettable dinners. Thanks again!

Belle hotel, chambre tres bien , literie, plateau thé/café, mais abattant des toilettes en plastique simple et douchette de la douche obsolete et vieillote pour un 4etoiles...bof bof mais le pire est que j’avais une bouteille d’eau en verre vide et des tarifs pour de l’eau....et j’ai appris plus tard qu’il y avait unz fontaine pour remplir la bouteille vide de ma chambre--> mauvaise communication avec affichage payant et aucune information de la standardiste a l’accueil!!!!un comble pour un 4 etoiles!!!

Également il faudrait, autant faire ce peut,mettre plus de pateres et d'étagères dans la salle de bain,il serait judicieux également d'une une protection supplémentaire au niveau de la douche, afin d'éviter que le sol soit mouillé
