To call this a 4* hotel is laughable. It says it quite clearly on the front.

The room - blackout curtains - no way. The room was so bright from the neon lights from the neighbouring industrial site, I could not sleep. The pullows were super thin. When I asked for 2 more for my son and I, they told me they only had one spare hahaha - in the whole hole;. Shocking. We went to drink some water from the glass provided in the room - both had not been cleaned and had some dried drink in it. They did not change our towels when they changed our sheets. The room and whole hotel need serious upgrading and renovation.

They said they have a jacuzzi - it’s an inflatable one you can get in a supermarket. It also does not work, had no water and was empty.
They said they had a spa, this was never open.
They said they had a sauna. This was broken
They said they had a gym. Nearly all the equipment was broken, missing or not cleaned.
They said they had a pool. First they said they couldn’t use it. Then after pouring in a lot of chlorine let my child and I in after 10 minutes. Surely this is not safe. Again this was another example of poor facilities, service and attention to detail.
Mainly I’m annoyed with the false advertising, and to be fair the staff were nice.

Déçus pour un 4 ****

Première assignation dans une chambre où la section salle de bain avec bain-douche vitrée avait été rénovée, mais où la toilette était défectueuse. (Dans cette chambre, il y avait une machine pour le café.)

Ne pouvant pas réparer la toilette, on nous assigne une nouvelle chambre. Cette fois-ci, la salle de bain n’est pas rénovée. C’est une chambre pour handicapés avec douche. Au sol, il y a un rebord métallique dangereux. Nous avons aussi un rideau de douche douteux qui nous colle sur le corps. Cette fois, nous n’avons pas accès à une machine à café. (Nous avons une bouilloire).

Décevant pour un établissement 4 étoiles.

Je séjourne dans des 3 étoiles beaucoup mieux équipés .
Salle de bain plus que basique sans équipements et avec douche très peu pratique et en mauvais état . Sans miroir de maquillage . Chambre sans aucun charme. Avec prise qui ne fonctionne pas . Décevant et ne correspond pas à un 4 étoiles

It's misleading to call this a 4 *, it was decent enough but the condition and the size of bedroom and especially, bathrooms, was not of 4* expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful though.

Nous avons loué 4 chambres et prévenu que nous avions une cérémonie de mariage
Mais la personne au téléphone n’a pas voulu en tenir compte pour organiser le ménage différemment !
Du coup la famille a dû ce changé sur un parking et n’a pue avoir leur chambre que tard dans la nuit !
Merci à vous c’était vraiment une super journée !
De plus quand je suis arrivé j’ai dû attendre car à 15 h la chambre n’était toujours pas prête !
Le ménage a été fait à la vas vite
Des cheveux dans la douche , le lavabo bouché ,le verrouillage de la porte fenêtre Hs , des taches sur les murs……… bref une très mauvaise expérience et qui sera la dernière

Good / nice hotel

Hotel was nice staff friendly. Restaurant also very nice. One comment is that staff did not seem able to explain accessibility. I was told I would need taxis in and out and so spent €34 going to one of the beaches when there was a bus stop 10 minutes away at the cost of €1.30 single.

An oasis just minutes from the center of Perpignan

Incredibly helpful, friendly and fun staff helped to make my business trip easy peasy, and a pleasure! While the hotel sits near fast roads, it is like a silent oasis, with palm trees and pool, fresh sea air floating through the entire place, like living in a garden!

Very handy location if travelling by car. Nearest bus stop 5 minute walk. Wholefood mini market next door and the pop up snack bar / coffee shop on adjacent sports retail park is neat and tastefully laid out but hours are restricted. The hotel is quiet, clean and we were the only people using the pool!

Excellent location and helpful staff

The hotel is located in a perfect spot: facing the water, the center village, and a great spot to enjoy Marseille. We found this to be a lively center of town, safe, and close to restaurants, shops and water excursions. The staff was helpful, pointing out some excellent, fairly-priced restaurants.

Hotel has excellent public areas, pool bar, and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a bit quirky but modern and comfortable. Restaurant is out-of-this-world. Superb food and a top wines, even a bottle of Petrus on the menu for about £6k! It was an astonishing surprise to eat so well here. The restaurant may appear pricey at first glance but it is worth every penny

A Little Oasis

Found this hotel just on outskirts of Perpignan and could not have been happier. Lovely hotel, great staff, superb pool and facilities including a hot tub. Room ticked all the boxes although it would have been nice to have some free water in it.

Clean hotel usable as a one night stop off only

Strange location in a unkempt small trading estate adjacent to a busy and noisy road. All 'pool view' rooms face this road. Luckily ours didn't and the noise was vastly reduced. As a business hotel the wi fi facilities were poor with a weak signal in many parts and, in fact, useless in the bedroom with connectivity breaking down every couple of minutes or so. Not good enough. No good for a leisure stay. The small pool area is overlooked by reception, the restaurant as well as guests coming and going added to the fact that it is very noisy due to the busy road. The restaurant is meant to be quite highly rated. but we didn't eat there as it was adjacent to reception with people coming and going and staring at the diners. Would only recommend this hotel to the odd person who wants a stopover to break a longer drive as it is quite handy for the well used route that passes next to the property. Pretty poor experience in total.

Clean comfortable and very good helpful service. Not a characterful building or pretty location but convenient for what we wanted. Not a destination hotel but a really good option when you are travelling. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool after a long journey.

Relaxing stop after a long journey

A very good hotel - don't be put off by its location. Reviews elsewhere focus on the unattractive surroundings - ring road, car dealerships, etc - perhaps less than ideal for the old city, although convenient access from the autoroute. But the hotel offers a very comfortable oasis - welcoming staff in reception and restaurant; well finished and equipped bedrooms (where the air conditioning doesn't keep you awake at night); outdoor pool; spa; sauna. Everything I could ask for after a tiring 1200+ km drive from England and an energetic afternoon in 30C+ temperatures. I will be back in Perpignan in January to collect my daughter after her semester at the university and I will have no hesitation in returning to La Fauceille.

One minor concern - for a hotel which must depend for custom on access by car, parking spaces are very limited.

Hotel La Fauceille, Perpignan

This hotel is very nicely designed in a chic miami motel style with tiny but lovely pool area. The rooms are very small but well designed and appointed altho those at the rear overlook and industrial landscape and car park. The staff of the hotel are excellent and highly professional. The food is superb, imaginative and sophisticated cooking at what amounts to a bargain price in irish terms.
On the negative side the hotel was virtually impossible to find, even tho I navigated to an area very close by nobody knew the hotel. There were no signposts. We eventually had to call to another hotel who were really helpful and got us there. Also i felt we paid the top price quoted on the wall of the hotel for the rooms- and even though we were staying for 3 nites got one of the poorest rooms at the back of the hotel. For that price we should have got the best room in the house as it was maximum price so no prizes to hotels.com there.

Excellent Hotel and Restaurant

Our overall experience of the Hotel La Fauceille at Perpignan was Excellent.
It is a little difficult to find - but with a Satnav, we got straight there.
The Hotel and rooms are beautifully designed and are exceptually clean. The shower is not very practical - the only criticism.
The Restaurant also delightfully designed had excellent menus and service. Tremendous meal - the best in our week away - especially loved the Foie Gras in 4 different ways.
No hesitation to recommend this hotel and Restaurant.

This hotel was opened in june 2009 and is modern and stylish with very helpful and friendly staff with probaly the best receptionist I have ever met. The food in the restaraunt was superb and not overpriced. The location is outside the city and is not well sign posted but once you get there it is excellent.

2 tapis de marche/course dont 1 qui se bloque en 1 minute et l'autre qui ne fonctionne qu'à 16 km/m heure.

C'est sûr je ne reviendrai pas.
Il faut vraiment que le propriétaire renove les chambres.
Je suis peut-être difficile !
Je retiendrai la gentillesse du personnel.

Vi havnet på dette sjarmerende hotellet da vi fikk dekk problemer på vei hjem fra Spania. Kan ikke få fullrost damen i resepsjonen nok. Hun snakket godt engelsk og var utrolig hjelpsom, hun ringte dekkforhandlere og snakket med franske utgaven av naf, hun stod virkelig på. Frokosten var veldig god, og restauranten kan virkelig anbefales. Vi kommer tilbake.

Je viens assez souvent dans cet hôtel tous les 15 jours en moyenne, et je suis toujours satisfait de l’accueil du personnel qui est à l’écoute de ses clients, qui est très accueillant et chaleureux.
J’ai pas l’habitude de manger au restaurant hier soir, j’y suis allé et que ce soit au niveau gustatif, ou au niveau du service, tout était excellent. Bravo à Elodie pour son Acceuil et son sourire qui rend agréable l’expérience.

Salle de sport, totalement obsolète dans une cave bizarre, le sauna n’est pas en état de marche, la cuillère à café de ma chambre était sale avant mon arrivée. 16€ pour un petit déjeuner. C’est le prix d’un dîner…

J’ai essayé de donner mon avis à la personne de l’accueil, mais apparemment elle préfère que je le donne sur Internet. Bon courage à vous pour remettre cet hôtel en marche.

Alles Top, immer wieder gerne.

Wir stoppen immer hier auf der Durchreise nach Spanien. Sind sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel jedem empfehlen. Klasse Service, gutes Essen und ein geschlossener, kameraüberwachter Parkplatz. Haustierfreundlich, so dass wir auch mit unseren Hund hier übernachten können.
Sind gerne hier und werden sicherlich auch beim nächsten Mal hier einkehren.

Alors pour commencer la chambre etait correcte, il y avais des toiles d’araignées sur le plafond.. cousin trop dure, ensuite le ptit dejeuner 16€ je m’attendais à beaucoup plus de choix.. on mange mieux dans une boulangerie pour 16€.. et le restot très bon mais le serveur ma pris un peux de haut, propose un vert de vin au client au tour de moi mais pas a moi..
je trouve qu’il il y a quelque chose a revoir pour le pris du séjours..

Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l’hôtel,le 860, une cuisine parfaite,très bon,et bonne qualité. Tout au long de notre séjour,nous avons été ravi par le personnel sympathique et accueillant.
Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner,nous l’avons trouvé très moyen.. le personnel de ce jour là,pas du tout à la hauteur.. avec une capuche sur la tête.. qualité très moyenne,pas à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles. C’est dommage,le séjour avait très bien commencé et ,se termine sur une fausse note. Néanmoins,en dehors de ce petit déjeuner,tout était parfait,et le personnel,très agréable

Nous avions la chambre 102. Bon accueil, bonne situation, bien équipé, déco plutôt moderne, literie vraiment confortable et insonorisation très correcte (ou nos voisins étaient discrets, ça changerait un peu)
Les points moins bien: pommeau de douche cheap et pas confortable, menuiseries alu fermant mal, mobilier un peu vieillot bien sûr, évidemment des touristes étrangers pas très silencieux surtout en sautant dans la piscine à 9h du matin (bien que ce soit des enfants c'est interdit, les employés auraient du/pu leur signifier) et, pour être tatillon, des trous disgracieux dans la moquette du couloir.

Hotel 4* seulement parce qu'il y a une \"piscine\". Moi je dirais que c'est plutôt un 2,5*/3* gros max.
Service qui laisse à désirer et notamment au moment du petit déjeuner, qui lui est facturé 15€/personne.
N'ouvrez pas les portes-fenêtres parce que le bruit de la route vous accompagnera toute la journée.
Le femme de chambre oublira de vous laisser des serviettes propres, la clé de la chambre (carte) ne fonctionne plus sans prévenir parce que \"ca arrive\".

Chambre agreable, calme et prestations correctes.
Hôtel calme bonne insonorisation par contre a proximité d'une voie tres fréquentée.
Certains collaborateurs auraient besoin de manger 5 fruits et légumes par jour....ils auraient ainsi la \"banane\"
Restaurant à éviter surtout le samedi soir plats réchauffés manquant de fraîcheur signalé mais le chef n'a pas daigne de venir nous voir, heureusement le serveur est au top.

Niché pres d'une voie rapide les parties communes de l'hotel restaurant salons salle de petit déjeuner et zone de piscine sont acceptables par contre qd il s'agit des chambres pourtant la notre était dite supérieure c'est vraiment du has been et bas de gamme avec mini salle de bain et peu de rangements
