A good base right on the beach, 10 min walk to Mandraki Harbour and 20 min to the heart of the Old Town. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent full hot and cold buffet. Staff exceptionally friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Parking outside the hotel was available. If sitting by the pool all day is your thing the pool is very small but the hotel is on the beach. Sunsets were fabulous.

It’s okay. There’s lots of building going on right opposite which is unsightly, our bathroom door didn’t close properly and the balcony isn’t actually a balcony - just a door, which didn’t open either. I think the rooms need a refurb, they’re very bare. Breakfast is okay - it was cold though. The staff are so lovely, location is good but note this is on the windy side of the island.

What a lovely hotel stopped for 3 nights. Check in was excellent with Michael very welcoming.We were early arriving so didnt expect room to be ready however we were offered the opportunity to have breakfast which was a lovely gesture. Rooms lovely beds very comfortable. We had a sidesea view with balcony room 619. Breakfast lovely plenty of choice to suit all. Pool small but perfect for a dip plenty of beds if staying there for the day. Hotel has beach area with free beds all kept nice by the lovely beach attendant. Great stay to explore the new and old town when in Rhodes.All staff so nice thank you also to Despina on reception. Would most definately book again.

Restaurant used for breakfast was generally very busy, and food good (juice drinks were unpleasant though).
Good location with benefit of the sea breeze to cool the baking temperatures down!
Easy to walk to old town and up to acropolis, lots of restaurants close by and lots of small shops for food/drinks etc

Pros: Clean, kind staff members, good location, very good dinner in their parent hotel mitsis la palais.

Cons: Low level room equipments such as hair dryer. And the number of elevators is not sufficient. I also recommend to put guardrail on the balcony wall, I found the wall in a low height.

Stayed at the Mitsis early April. Hotel is conveniently located, clean, and safe.
Do not get a partial sea view room, many of these rooms don’t actually have a partial sea view, you have to look past another balcony. The upgrade to a sea view room is worth it. Much bigger room with beautiful views of the sunset.

Mitis la vita is in a great location however the noise at night from the road can be disturbing. Unfortunately we also had some very rowdy girls on floor so sleep was limited.
The pool is very small and limited sunbeds, however the beach is just over the road and you can pay for sun beds - it would be nice if you could use the Mitis grand sunbeds.
The balconies are very very small but again you have beach to use.
Overall an okay property - would I stay again? Probably not l.

The most comfortable hotel since coming to Greece, but that's not to say that the others weren't nice. The front desk staff was great. Antonis, Despoina and Christinas, who work the checkin desk were so helpful and charming. Pythagoyas and Alexia, who work the bar, couldn't be more pleasant, Again.....wonderful staff.
The breakfast was wonderful and again, the staff was amazing, cleaning up and resetting tables, replenishing food and keeping everything presentable.
This hotel is across the street from the beach which we liked. Swim a bit to the right of where you enter the beach from the hotel as the water was clearer. Lots of beach beds. Old town is within easy walking distance. The hotel is in the middle of shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was all in all good. Small things like the balcony which we booked extra was a joke. Bathroom has no windows. The beds are 2 small one's put together. Breakfast is boring and small medical help isnt available.

The staff was friendly, very helpful and solution-oriented. They were able to accomodate our room change request for a bigger room after the first night. We had a sea view room which was nice and clean. The location of the hotel was good, close to the Elli Beach and the shopping areas. I should also mention the lady which makes wonderful crepes for the breakfast. . Overall, we were happy with our stay.

The hotel was just across the beach and about 20 minute walk from Rhodes old town. However there were plenty of restuarants nearby, one called Jays Burgers who did excellent food and the staff were really friendly. Staff at the hotel were all very friendly especially Alexia at the bar. Room was a good size . The balcony was only a Juliet balcony however. The Room could have done with having a long mirror and bring your own hairdryer as the one in the hotel was very slow and got very hot holding it. Breakfast was good but it was the same things every day. The pool was very small and so was the pool area. There were no room for umbrellas but there was a shaded area. Overall the hotel was very clean and I would stay here again

We liked the location of this property but unfortunately did not get the sunset view room that we booked it for. We did get the top floor which was nice except you had to navigate a floor of stairs with luggage as the elevator does not access the top floor. Someone from the hotel should be helping you with this. We saw older people struggling to manage their luggage up the long flight (the concierge said a few stairs) of stairs.

The building is old and tired, the smell when entering the room is of a bathroom that is very humid. The Tub did not drain and when taking a shower we were standing calf deep in water.

When asked for things from the front desk the service was immediate and very friendly. The 1/2 board was well worth doing. The breakfast, even tho very crowed in the space was GREAT. The lady making eggs during our stay made the best eggs ever with a big smile behind a very hot stove.

Maybe my expectations were too high but I think next time I will book the big sister Mitsis across the street.

The staff were very friendly and always greeted you with a smile they were always happy to help. We had a great stay at this hotel and will happily recommend to family and friends. The breakfast and dinner m was a little basic if you’re vegetarian or of a specific diet. The location of this property was on the beach easily accessible to shops snd bus stops. All attractions were nearby. I thank you to all staff and management of Mitsis La Vita Beach and Mitsis Petit Palaice for making our stay so memorable.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff in a great area. A small pool which is not heated but plenty of outside seating to enjoy the sun. They have entertainment on a few nights each week. The beach is right across the road and loads of places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes walk. Any trips and you get picked up outside the hotel next door, there is also a bus stop there to. The harbour where you can book loads of trips and old town are approximately a15 minute walk. This hotel is in a very central area for everything and I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is typical beach hotel, but wll located off the water and near the old and new towns. I walked everywhere I wanted to do. The lobby area and terrace are spacious, but my room was small. The price was good, the room was clean, the shower was hot, and there was wifi so it met my expectations.There was also a large and excellent breakfast selection.

Room 706 gave us a stunning sea view and a nice balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Breakfast very good and dinner in the sister hotel nearby equally good.
Finally, Covid awareness throughout the hotel could not be faulted making us feel as safe as is possible at the present time

Everything about the hotel is just \"ok\"

We stayed for 3 nights in Sept. For a 3 night stay it was fine but i would not stay here if i was there for a longer stay. First of all we opted for the sea view with balcony, this is absolutely not worth the extra. I have included a pic so yiu can make your own judgment but it is not a balcony for 2 persons to sit on - firstly not enough room, secondly doesnt feel particularly safe, thirdly,its like a wind tunnel. I did not see anyone else in these rooms on a balcony either.
The hotel assured me this was the full sea view and not the side sea view but again i will allow you to make your own judgement.
Location is good- about 10/15 min walk to old town and loads of good bars around nearby streets.
We did B &B, again, i would say \"ok\". Average selection but a bit chaotic ( no proper system, just a free for all).
Overall, room etc a bit tired ( also smelt of smoke on 3rd floor), I dont think i would stay again personally.

This hotel was very good value for money since breakfast and dinner were included. It is within walking distance of the old city and a good location. The bathroom needs some work to update and was very small. The sea view was okay, but the chairs and table on the balcony should be thrown out and needed updating. I was told I had to pay a 10Euro deposit for the key to a safe, but when I checked out they said no we don't do that, but since I was given no receipt, well did someone pocket the money? This island is busy, I wouldn't go there in peak season it would be crazy, but is well worth the visit.

A tourist trinket theme park!!!

The hotel has a great view and rooms very clean and comfortable. Th surrounding environment has reasonable beach but is seriously let down by the road traffic that never stops even at night time, hordes of people and beggars ready to accepts you.We had to sleep with the doors closed and zircon on. There are often fast motorbikes using the road that have little regard for pedestrians. The service and comfort was very good at the hotel and they were accommodating. The breakfast was reasonable.Dinner on half board are taken at a nearby hotel. While we had a short stay of three days any longer would have been intolerable as the surrounding area is very commercial / touristy and Rhodes itself has transformed into a tourist trinket theme park! The cruises have certainly had a impact. We would not go back

Ideally located for the beach. Pool small and not in the sun until mid-day during September.
Nice coffee at breakfast and plenty of choice so long as you don't want English sausages.
My room did not have a balcony but the large windows allowed in plenty of light. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful.
Dinner is served at the sister hotel approx. 5 mins walk.
Safe, wi-fi and air con all free.
I have booked for next year!

I booked a room with partial sea view. Front desk gave me keys to a room overlooking an alleyway with a tiny impractical shower. When I told them the room I booked supposed to have a partial sea view and asked for a new one, they changed my room immediately. In the beginning, I was not impressed, but they acted promptly therefore I cannot complain and can say that I’m happy with the service. The pictures of the newly renovated rooms on the hotel page I believe the ones with sea view. So people who think that they will get that rooms should book a sea view room to avoid disappointment. Other rooms are a bit dated but still clean and above Greek island standards.

The reception staff are excellent, having our check in slightly delayed (we didn't complain) by the late check out of the previous room occupant, we were offered a free lunch by way of compensation for what was minimal inconvenience.
The room was clean, comfortable and as expected of a Mitsis hotel.
Three minor points to be aware of, none of which are complaints, more for the benefit of being forewarned:
1. If you are offered a room on the top 7th floor, the lift only takes you as far as the 6th - the remainder of the journey upwards is via a 17step stairway. with heavy luggage this could be a problem.
2. The small pool area is provided with a total number of 12 sunbeds - for a hotel containing hundreds of guests. It's opposite the beach so not far to walk if you're a sun worshipper but then you're going to pay for such luxuries.
3. Be aware that if staying half or full board, only breakfast is served in the LaVita. Lunch and dinner requires a 3 minute walk to it's sister hotel the Petit Palais, crossing a busy road twice in the progress and negotiating large kerbstones on the way. Not ideal if you have small children or mobility issues.
No complaints though, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

However, the dining room/breakfast area could do with an upgrade as this seemed a bit behind the rest of the hotel and dated with a slightly tired feel. I was surprised to have a room not similar to the one booked online. I have booked a room with sea view and i was given a room with partial sea view although the hotel employees and manager insist that its a sea view room. When i asked to change my room i was told to wait for the morning and they will give me exactly the room shown on the expedia booking. We had no other options than to wait till today. However on the other we were offered another room also different from what is shown online (smaller balcony no 180 degrees sea view - on the side of the building). Im fealing disappointed and upset at the beginning of my trip by not getting what i paid for around 20$/night extra charge for the sea view. Luckily i have booked other hotels for my stay in Rhodes but till today it is a very bad experience for me and my wife.

The staff were exceptional from every department. The pool at the side of hotel provided sun bed ( no tables) but around from the bar. Rooms had a safe, fridge, TV and wi-fi.
Right next to the beach. Buffet meals have enough choice for all tastes. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The only false information on Expedia website is there is late/early checkout provided you inform hotel.

Excellent location ,fab balcony facing sea, room a little small. Little niggles, poor lighting not enough electrical sockets, we had to unplug fridge to boil kettle and unplug light to recharge our phones and I pads.
Food ok but not always hot and dinning rooms always very busy,but enjoyed my breakfast outside.

Average with complicated food systems

Really complicated system for dinner. It's at another hotel which they don't give you directions to when you check in. Also the card with food times is apparently a 'ticket' they don't tell you this either. Nor do they tell you that although the food is included you have to pay for drinks.
The pool is tiny, more of a plunge pool.
Quite a way off from the old town too.

Nice hotel overlooking the beach

In a good location near 2 beaches. Many bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, but not enough tables.
Our room was small with a very small bathroom, but was just a standard room. Maybe others bigger?
We had dinner included which was at the Petite Palace hotel nearby. Food was excellent.

The hotel staff are very helpful and nice

The hotel is located in the city center so everything is within walking distance. The hotel staff are very helpful and nice. We did not like the food, but beyond that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel!!

Great location
Friendly staff pool gets all the wind which makes it a little unpleasant to enjoy
Breakfast was ok but probably needs a little more variety compared to mitsis grand hotel next door although that is a much larger hotel with more dining room space
Overall good value with a great location

Definately a Win!

Customer Service was amazing, got to check in early. Wifi was a little shady unless you pay for the upgraded service. Breakfast buffet was delicious, as well as the dinner buffet across the street. Highly recommend this place, especially for the price. Remember to bring a converter that actually stays in the recessed plugs!

Nice hotel very good area
The only problem is that you have to pay for WiFi on the room and that the elevator was to small for only 3 persons
