The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy.

Antonio and hos family own and run the hotel. They are welcoming, polite, and informative. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Breakfast is provided at a cost. It is about a 10 minute walk to downtown Amalfi. The view from our room was breath taking over looking the ocean. We slept with the windows open as there was a cool seq breeze nightly. The view from my room was the highlight of my trip. The room is small but you have everything you might need. Antonio and his daughter were a pleasure to deal with. If you come here, take the time to enjoy their terrace with lounge chairs and amazing views of the ocean and cliffs. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s family operated.

The room was okay overall. It was clean and fairly spacious, but unfortunately quite noisy. We could clearly hear guests in the rooms next to us and above, which was disruptive both at night and early in the morning. The shower was also quite small.

The location was a highlight, about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. It felt quieter than staying right in the middle, which suited us well.

We didn’t try the breakfast, but it is worth noting that only a continental option is available in the mornings, despite there being a restaurant on site.

This is a suitable option if you are simply looking for a place to sleep and shower, but do not expect much beyond that. One concern during our stay was that a staff member entered our room with a key while we were still sleeping, and no proper explanation was provided, which was odd.

Hotel Bellevue is a warm, family-run hotel that feels different from the other large luxury hotels in Amafi (in a good way). The owner was so sweet- he upgraded our rooms, gave us free parking and breakfast! The hotel is a short 15min walk to the heart of Amalfi and well worth it! Plus you never feel like you’re in the midst of the chaotic crowds of tourists. The last night, we sat on their beautiful terrace, enjoying home-made lemon chello from the owner! We will come back :)

This hotel exceeded expectations! The balcony area was so nice, gorgeous view. The room was very clean, very up to date. The service from the front desk was superb. They gave us directions to town and recommendations for dinner. Breakfast had many options and staff was pleasant and helpful . If you are walking and cone from town with luggage, I recommend getting bus going towards Positano, the Will stop at the hotel. Walk in to town is a beautiful walk. I am really glad we stayed out of town it was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. This stay was one of the highlights to our trip!

Parking is made easy be the staff unloading your car and parking it, there is a $40 parking fee. This area, like all of Amalfi, is crazy busy so having restaurants to walk to was great. Breakfast is available at the hotel from 7:00am-10:00am for a $20 fee. The suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the water. The staff is great. Would I stay here again....YES but only if i wanted to teat my luck a second time at the death defying drive to Amalfi; I was not a fan.

The room that they upgraded us to for the first night (for free) -- which had a view of the sea -- was very nice. However, the room that they moved us to for the second night of our stay was significantly lower in comfort overall. If you stay here, I recommend staying in one of the sea view rooms.
Also, the hotel is a bit of a hike from the city's center, so if you stay here, I'd recommend having a moped or car to get around on/in.

Wow what an amazing experience me and my best friend had here! Antonio greeted us with a warm welcome and upgraded us to a larger room with a terrace free of charge! He was very helpful with recommendations to all the best beaches, restaurants and transportation into town. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel itself is very clean and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amalfi and I can’t wait to come back again!

This hotel was the best, the staff were super friendly, the rooms had great working aur conditioning even during 40 degrees Celsius heat wave, the shower pressure was great and the size of the shower was comfortable amd not those tiny showers. their rooftop terrace is large with amazing views of the sea. We have been in Italy for 1 month and my kids still talk about the amazing breakfast (italian style) and was the best cappuccino I had. The walk is long to the beach but thats to be expected in the geographic location. And they have parking which is great cause its impossible to find parking on the Amalfi coast. Definitely will go back to this hotel when i return to Amalfi

Hotel Bellvue Suite was a very pleasant, value for money, place to stay for my wife and I for our week in Amalfi, all the staff were helpful and happy to chat. Breakfast was a treat with a variety of foods, fruits, drinks available. A 20 minute walk gets you to Amalfi centre or a bus stop is very close-by, hotel reception had a selection of bus tickets for sale which was most convenient too! Our room was clean (and cleaned/serviced every morning) and featured a near 'black-out' blind so early sunrise didn't wake us too early, the shower and bathroom generally were excellent, a safe in the room was handy for keeping documents etc in to save carrying about. Our only disappointments were the lack of a café - which was advertised on Expedia and it not being a beach-front property - again as advertised on Expedia. The bar did sell crisps, peanuts and very light snacks but was not a café. As for 'beach-front' cliff-front would be a more more accurate description. A major reason we booked this hotel was for walk out the door onto the beach expectations. Both these downside points are I imagine down to Expedia failing to visit the property rather than the fault of the property itself which as I stated previously is excellent! Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would particularly like to thank Antonio for his advice regarding tours, transport and general information, his advice was invaluable. I can highly recommend Hotel Bellvue Suite as a great place to stay if you visit Amalfi.

The location is so very beautiful and so very dangerous!! Especially for those with a fear of heights. Arriving at this destination isn't for the faint of heart. It seems to be at the very tip of Almalfi; impossibly high up on a steep cliff. The gorgeous rooftop provides the most stunning views of the Almalfi Coast. In fact, I'd argue very few places offer such an exquisite view of the sea and cliffs of Almalfi. This hotel has breakfast daily and their fresh-baked croissants and cappuccino were honestly probably the best I've had in my travels so far. The older gentleman who runs the hotel is very efficient and kind, (even if initially intimidating). Just don't arrive to breakfast after 9:45 or make too much noise because it's frowned upon. Also, you can't bring food into the rooms, which is something to consider before staying, since it's a hike to town. (A dangerous hike down a dangerous road).

Hotel Bellevue Suite is the absolute best hotel in Amalfi, must stay! Wonderful staff with top of the like service, Antonio went out of his way to make our stay in Amalfi the best possible - with a room upgrade, free breakfast, and personal taxi service when we had an early departure the day we left, all with the utmost kindness. A short walk to the beach and right next to a bus stop to get around the coastal towns, including the Amalfi piazza with the pier, restaurants, stores, and nightlife. Beautiful rooms and a large balcony with a seaside view! We will definitely be staying at Hotel Bellevue Suite the next time we travel to Amalfi!

Nearly to city centre that you can go by walk..the man of reception is very friendly and help us a lot with some indication principal about to rent a scooter like make our stayed so easy. It’s’ was 11:40pm, the bar attendant just got finished with a customer, I’m right behind, next in line. He tells me the bar is closed, with light equipment etc. still running. As he gets finished with the customer, he tells me now the bars is closed, only for water. Then he mentioned, the bar closes at 12:00, as he turns off all the equipment(bar lights) at 11:43. Early during check in, I was stop upon bringing a case of 6 pack water for a family of 5, over night. Just down right rude. Order 2 superior rooms, didn’t have second room ready. Lucky, we were able to talk to a trusted receptionist, in which she brought great customer support, ungraded only superior to a suite. I was looking into a great relaxation weekend. Turned out to be full with discomfort and stressed. The rooms smell like mildew, in which I had a respiratory attack during the night. I didn’t want to complain to much, base on I was just trying to have
a relaxed family vacation weekend, but the situation kept getting worse. This was just a one night stay. If you stay here, bring basic necessities like water to the establishment is a problem. They literally would’ve turned me down over water. Luckily, had already paid.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. To our surprise, they even upgraded us to a beautiful suite at no extra cost — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special!

The suite was spacious, spotless, and elegantly decorated, with stunning views and all the amenities we could possibly need.

Every interaction with the staff was warm and professional — they were always ready to help with a smile, whether it was recommending places to visit or making sure we had everything we needed.

The hotel itself is in a perfect location, close to great restaurants and attractions, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep.

Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Totally recommended, and we would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

The Beauty of the Bellevue Suites was amazing. We had an incredible view with a terrace to sit and enjoy sunrises. The hotel provided an amazing local Breakfast with fresh pastries, cheese, meats, motzarella and tomatoes in Olive Oil --it all was Delicious! The cappuccinos were made by Antonios dad (SOOO GOOD!) The hotel was clean, sweetest staff, So helpful and even offered us a shuttle back to the train station for a fraction of the taxi drivers. Seeing everyone was the best part of our mornings.

I absolutely loved my experience here. I visited with my parents and my sister and we all had a perfect time. The owner Antony is sooo kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and spacious and the views were amazing. Also it’s a very short walk to the town, about 15 minutes. I would stay here again in a heartbeat !!!
