Prosecco!

We came here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were so touched that they had put a chilled bottle of prosecco in our room. The beds are firm but everything is super clean. Staff really welcomed us and ensured we had a lovely stay. The beach is across a busy road but there is a crosswalk nearby which is super convenient. The breakfast was perfectly adequate.

very happy

We had a room with sea view balcony on the 3rd floor which was perfect for sunset. . Some reviews say the bathrooms are small but we loved our room. Som of the bed overs are looking a bit worn out but apart from that really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is very good too. The bikes make it easy to get in and out of the main shopping area.

Amazing hotel with very nice staff! Very helpful amenities including the free shuttle going back and forth to the center. The pool was nice as well.The room gets cleaned multiple times per day; whenever we left the room it gets re-cleaned. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel kitchen was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Forte Dei Marmi!

Nice experience in Forte dei Marmi

The hotel is cute in an old style European way. It’s about a kilometer from the town. The hotel is well maintained and the breakfast is decent. It’s about expectation. While the hotel is not new or recently renovated, it’s well kept and provides good service.

I had a wonderful week at the Hotel Negresco. I enjoyed not only the perfect location, but the quality and kindness of the staff....first at the reception you are welcomed by wonderful smiles and efficiency was greatly appreciated. The morning Buffet is incredible. And the chambermaids are so kind. One day I over walked and immediately she called to have ice bringing to my room. When I thanked her she replied that this hotel
Was my home and every one is dedicated to the comfort of the residents. I was very touched. Everyone is a very special guest. You can tell it is extremely well

The hotel and area of Fortr Del Marmi was ideal for a few days of rest and relaxation right guy off the plane! Neighborhood was quite upscale and absolutely lovely. We drove into the nearby town for an evening of dinner and shopping after a apertitif on the enchanting piazza. Would highly recommend. Bed was super comfy, served from impeccable and staff positively lovely! Can't wait to go back!

Hotel is in the great location right across beach club and the beach. Even though hotel is located 20 minutes from the center of the town it is a nice walk and not too far.
We enjoyed the pool area hotel has to offer. It has a heated pool as well as other cool pools. There was not a lot of people by the pool so it made for relaxing family time. Room was on the smaller side but the bathroom was nice size with some storage space. We liked the tub in the bathroom. Also bathroom was nicely decorated. Bed in our room was comfortable and very wide. Hotel was very clean and hotel workers were supper nice and helpful. We had a room with the big balcony overlooking the beach club. The view was awesome and super relaxing. I would definitely come back and will stay for much longer next time.

Great hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Professionally run hotel with attentive staff. All the basics done very well. The restaurant offers an excellent option for an evening meal, as an alternative to walking into town, as well as providing a good breakfast either in the restaurant or on the terrace.
Whilst we were there the hotel held an informal party on the roof, for both locals and guests, on the evening of a local firework festival. Worth paying for a sea view.

Friendly Hotel Close to the Beach

We had a wonderful holiday. The Staff were first class. They were very friendly and helpful and really added an extra dimension to the holiday. The hotel was clean and well managed, room was spotless with additional bonus of a balcony overlooking the sea. Food was excellent, the menu being changed daily. Restaurant staff excellent. Pool well maintained and the facilities were checked regularly.

We were only here one night, but would have liked to have stayed longer. The hotel is very good. Forte dei Marmi is a very pleasant and up-market location, but limited things to do unless you are very much a beach person (or have a car and can travel around).

Amazing location, views from the bedroom great

the hotel team were incredible, very friendly and accommodating. Rooms quite small, facilities for the hotel not great for a 4 star. Breakfast was lovely. Dinner was ok, very quiet so atmosphere not great.

I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel, mainly due to team of staff, they worked as though they were a family who owned the property.

Very comfortable!

I loved my sort stay at Il Negresco. Reception staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent especially for Italian standards! Room was spacious and clean. Water pressure in shower was excellent...definitely makes a difference! WiFi in room was temperamental (sometimes extremely fast and other times slow) but definitely substantial. Hotel has bikes available but wasn't made aware of charges prior to booking one. Hotel is right across road from the beach and not too far from main streets of Forte dei Marmi. Would definitely stay again.

Noisey room, no storage. Requested a change of rooms. Upon checking out they demanded additional money contending it was there was a higher fee for this room. I had specificly asked if there would be any addional charges prior to moving rooms.
I was assured that there would be no additional charges, and they were aware that there was a noise issue with my room. Walls are paper thin in this hotel.

Not worth the cost, 3* at best with 5* price

Generally unhelpful reception staff who gave us no information about the area at all at check in.

It is an expensive resort and the prices in the hotel are ridiculous. €20 a day to park your car €5 for a coke or for fresh juice at breakfast! We didn't dine at the restaurant as we felt the prices were again too high, others may disagree.

It has a nice view over the sea and it was kept clean, the pool area is fine, you will struggle for a place by the pool in peak season but you are right next to the beach.

It's not a great place to be without a car, and I found the resort a little soulless, we were there about a week or two out of season though.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel or resort unless you earn over £100k a year. I also believe you would get better for less elsewhere.

On the sea front about a mile from the centre of town. Typically Italian , being a period building with little modernisation except for the swimming pool at the front of the building .

Good views from the sea view front rooms are worth investing in.

The hotel provides several bikes for cycling into the central area. The only way to travel in Forte Dei Marmi.

Good clean simple hotel with everything you would expect but with some investment in the rooms would be a whole lot more satisfying .

Fabulous Stay on the Italian Riveria

My experience at this hotel could not have been more favorable. It was just fabulous. A terrific location, and an unbelievably attentive staff. I have traveled extensively in Europe and I recommend this hotel highly. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and varied. I believe it is the best location on Forte Dei Marmi. This hotel contributed so much to my vacation experience.

Perfect Seaside Hotel

This hotel was just lovely and was much nicer than I had imagined. The rooms are decorated in light creams, sisal rugs and soft floral accents - not overwhelmingly sweet, but with a hint of tropical flair. The bathroom was enormous and covered, floor to ceiling, with crisp white carrera marble. The bath products were very upscale - always an added bonus to any hotel stay. Make sure to visit on a Wednesday, when there is the world's best market (shoes, bags, clothes,ect.) held in the center of swanky Forte dei Marmi.

In the hotels.com app it said we would receive an upgrade of room if available as it was a vip access- it was definitely available but we did not get it. We did miss bathrobe and slippers as it is a beach hotel with a pool and that we had to bycickles althoug it was cheap. The bicycles was great. Otherwise the location was good, but very much noise from the road. Could have supplied us with airprops f.ex. the breakfast was good, the service was good with very friendly staff, the hotel itself a bit old glamour but has it charme, the view was nice. no shuttle service to the center at this time of year som many walks

Das Hotel zentral wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Zimmer sehr sauber und Personal sehr freundlich. Schöner Garten und Pool. Leider ist es sehr ringhörig. Auch die Straße hört man noch gut bei geschlossenen Fenstern.

Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Waren schon öfter dort, aber
jetzt merkt man Renovierungsstau. Internet-Verbindung unter aller Kanone. Zimmer etwas immer mehr abgewohnt. Parkplatz meist voll.
Erreicht nach meiner Meinung kein 4 Sterne Niveau mehr.
