Very relaxing stay for my birthday, unfortunately the put a note for a free Bottle of Cava under our bedroom door after we had gone out for the afternoon/evening, so it was to late to enjoy by the time we got back to our room & we fiew home the following morning, but apart from thst we had a very relaxing stay.

Location was fantastic right on the beach front, staff were welcoming and helpful, only one thing was the single beds pushed together but, we were only staying for two nights so wasn’t an issue. Surrounded by nice restaurants and bars with a short taxi to Port d Andratx where there was a-bit more to do.

Positives & Negatives at Blu Mar H10

We were upgraded to a suite for what was the first 2 nights but a travel delay meant it was one night so I queried on check in about having to move to another room after just 24 hours stay and was told we just had to. So not a great start having to pack up and move. We were giving a complimentary evening meal for the inconvenience but I’d have just enjoyed settling into one room for what was only a 3 night stay. The opportunity of an upgrade being a Platinum member is only a treat if it’s for the duration of the stay ! The food was the highlight at this hotel as it was excellent. The suite on night one had an old shower over bath which posed a slip hazard for us. We found the superior sea view to have a modern shower and refurbished bathroom but the bed has no support at the back and moved away from the wall so was uncomfortable. Check out day leaves us with a lasting memory. The luggage store is dirty and unkept. The shower facility in the spa area is very hot and actually a big risk for a loan female showering so publicly with men using the gym area. Then the worst part is once showered there’s absolutely no air con in the toilets where you dry and then in the whole of the reception / bar area so we disappointedly waited and sweated before our coach to the airport . It can be hours before getting home for many travellers and having zero air con is a big inconvenience once you are set to travel. We did note reception staff have air con right at their own area. Good & Bad !!!

Very disappointed.

Clean and moderately comfortable but not a holiday atmosphere. Breakfast ok but evening meals very poor - one dish with rotting salad. Menu repetitive and tasteless - dessert menu unchanging. Would not recommend. Saving grace is that the staff were friendly.

When we checked in to this hotel we found a room with a broken empty fridge-no mini bar. There was also no coffee machine in the room. When we went to check out the gym it was an airless basement with inadequate AC and old equipment Then there was the pool area. People arrived every morning to reserve their loungers with a towel. They had that spot all day even if they went away for lunch or to walk the beach. The management did nothing about this problem. We had no where to sit in the sun multiple times. We finally checked out after only five days into a ten day booking. The food at breakfast was OK the dinner was terrible. This is not a four star hotel. H10 should be ashamed. Very poorly managed. Don’t stay at this place. Expedia needs to change its descriptor.

We really enjoyed our stay at the H10, its relatively stylish and well appointed. Camp de mar is a thankfully quiet and low key village and the H10 enjoys a wonderful pool and bar area that drops straight onto the fabulous beach. Accommodation was spacious (a room shared by three) with A/C and great views of the bay. The staff were friendly, spoke many languages and were super helpful whenever we interacted. The breakfast was varied and high quality. We only had dinner once at the hotel, sadly, not the highlight and wouldn't recommend based on our experience. If you're going to Camp de Mar, book the restaurant on the island well in advance for as many nights as you can, it's fabulous! The Maria 5 next door to the H10 is also really great.

1-week summer holidays

Great location, beach is clean, beautiful, and not overcrowded.

The sunbeds at the beach are rented by another service provider, costing €16 per day. Nonetheless we avoided it completely as the Hotel has direct access to the beach, and is very convenient to take a plunge into the crystal clear sea and walk few meters to the hotel sun-beds.

The local beach bar “Maria 5” is a great option for libations and to relax after a sunny day, and the restaurants around, but the will not disappoint you on food quality:
• Restaurant Illeta is not only about looks, the food is also great a but beware that it can often be fully booked, so a reservation is advised.
• Restaurant Beach Club was another happy surprise, nonchalantly offering delicious dishes with a view to the beach.

You can also easily reach the city of Palma by an express bus (air-conditioned, clean, and easy instructions on how it works), and be impressed by all it has to offer :)

Overall, I recommend this stay, and would gladly return :)

Lovely two day visit

Stayed for two nights as part of tour of Majorca. Lovely welcoming reception staff. The hotel is right next to fabulous beach with plenty of sun beds. The pool is nice and has sun beds but do get busy. Meals were good and drinks well priced and not expensive. Hotel is next to fabulous sushi beach bar well worth a visit. We also visited Port Andraix which has many good restaurants.

Location perfect, food excellent, service was disappointing, Hotel really does need to review staffing levels there are simply not enough, Bar is rarely serviced and surely a huge loss of revenue to the Company, Residents were going elsewhere!!

Right on the beach front. Just a step away from a couple of other restaurants/few shops and supermarket. The hotel has a really
nice relaxed ambience. Soft music to listen to whilst sunbathing. Entertainment twice a week. Bus stop/taxi nearby to get into Port Andratx.
Staff very nice. Evening meal is a la cartel rather than a buffet which is nice. Only couple slight negatives but not enough to spoil our stay. Maybe a little change in the menu during the week as it was the same menu every night but we did eat out a couple of times and the food in the hotel was lovely. Overall a really lovely stay.

Very disappointing. Small superior rooms. Only difference was full sea view. Dated bathrooms. Need to climb into bath to use the shower. No handrails. Very grey towels. Breakfast was always cold and tables were never cleared. Lack of staff I feel! Reception nice with pleasant staff. All in all very expensive for little.

This is a difficult review as the hotel, from what we saw was beautiful. However, we got there and they had over booked. I was travelling with two friends and none of us had a room available. It seemed that everyone arriving the day we did had the same problem. We got moved to a much lesser hotel and only settled for it because we needed to stay in the area for a wedding.

There were lots of angry customers that day, I don't know what everyone else experienced, but we basically got offered some free food. It didn't really cut it. As we were only there for a few days we didn't want to spend our trip arguing with them. The staff were friendly but ultimately they couldn't do anything to help because they simply didn't have the rooms available.

I get the feeling it's not the first time it's happened either. SO I couldn't recommend the hotel on that basis.

Lovely location

Hotel Blue Mar is well sited on a pretty cove and with direct access to the beach. There are pretty palm shades and plenty of loungers. Camp de Mar is small and modern with a few useful shops and restaurants. It does not suffer from the overdevelopment of other tourist hotspots on Mallorca. There are also good bus links to Palma and the local villages and towns.

The hotel is pleasant and comfortable and serves very good food, though we would have found the restaurant too expensive if we were not on half board. There is a nice bar area and smallish pool, though the beach and delightfully warm, calm, clear sea is just beyond the gate.

Our room and bed was very comfortable though some of the important details were lacking. The air conditioning did not work properly and was very noisy. They couldn't repair it. We had to sleep with the balcony doors open in order to keep a reasonable temperature at night. The 'white' towels were the greyest and least fluffy we have ever had anywhere. Coffee capsules were not always replaced. Small things but niggling, though we did enjoy our stay.

Parking at the hotel is free, but very limited, though we always managed to find somewhere nearby.

We noted that the hotel is closing in October, perhaps for refurbishment as it is a bit jaded. So they probably haven't bothered to deal with some of the important details at the moment. If it is refurbished it could be a very good place to stay in a beautiful spot, away from the crowds.

No room for us when we arrived

Arrived after 23.00 only to be told that due to a computer error they did not have a room for us. Despite this being a pre paid booking. In stead they sent us to a sister hotel in Santa Ponca!! Not what we expected.

To be fair the night manager was very sympathetic and helpful to the best of his ability. He offered us a complimentary lunch the following day.

The sister hotel was adequate but not of the same standard as we had hoped for.

We stayed here for a week as a friend was getting married nearby. Location was fabulous for what we needed, although there are few restaurants to choose from at Camp de Mar. Breakfast and lunch are both fantastic at the hotel, as are the chill out beds on the 5th floor. The bedrooms are in need of a renovation and are not as modern as the rest of the hotel and there is very little storage. The walls are also very thin and you can hear all bathroom noises in the morning! Overall I would recommend this hotel and stay here again if we needed to be in this location.

Very friendly and helpful staff at this Hotel. Food was excellent at both breakfast and evening dinner.
Well worth paying extra for a room with a balcony with a full sea view. As with a lot of Hotels getting a sun bed round the pool is not always easy. Needs a pool attendant to remove towels when not used for a while.
Set in a very pretty bay with some good restaurants. Also only a few minutes bus or car ride into Port d'Andrtx.

Nice clean hotel. Pleasant staff. Comfortable bedroom.Good location very close to a nice beach.

Buffet breakfast. Buffet dinner on a Sunday, rest of the week a la carte. Unfortunately there were only three a la carte menus. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday repeated on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Not all that much of a choice and the main courses, which were served with sauce, had little blobs of sauce at the edge of the plate and tended to be dry.

Very helpful pleasant staff. I believe that they were short staffed, so through no fault of their own the staff were at times under some pressure during busy periods.

Bathroom clean and functional, but on the verge of becoming a little dated.

Nice pool. Despite instructions not to reserve pool beds with towels, this was not enforced. On our room literature it said that the pool closed at 1900hrs. On the second day we were there a new notice was erected by the pool stating that the pool closed at 1800hrs. In reality people ignored both notices and continued to use the pool beyond 1900hrs anyway.

Close to beach, very busy beach, but once in the sea, plenty of space for swimming and good snorkelling.

All in all, a pleasant stay, but not planning a return visit.

The hotel is very solidly located at the bay, has overall a good impression but with rather basic services, rock-the-box amenities. Pool is good with the bar and restaurant surrounding. Beach is just 10 min away - reachable through the pool area. Impression is though, that the personnel is lacking the necessary amount of people. So, the impression is that the services are efficient but no extras, no special feeling about the hotel and all takes it time. English or German not really spoken, leaves no friendly impression.

The hotel is clean and tidy and very comfortable. The hotel serves a good buffet breakfast. The head waiters in the restaurants are a little miserable all the other staff are smiley and always happy to help. It's very near a beautiful beach with excellent restaurants. A very good chill out place. We have been three years running and are going next year too.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location, glass of Cava on arrival is a very nice touch. Overall good, but spa let it down with a shower tray that is very slippery when wet and several dead cockroaches which had not been cleaned up. Other than that the hotel is immaculate with great staff.

Lovely modern hotel that needs some fine tuning if good management were to be installed. Food is good especially breakfast. The half board menu needs the addition of some specials as can become a little monotonous especially if you were to stay for longer than a week. Would not have bothered with chill out room as the sun doesn't come over until approximately 1pm . Then due to the overhead cover you would end up with stripes on your body when sunbathing. The area has no other shade and when the sun is on it can become very hot. There are no room numbers on the chill out beds either and we found there was some friction between residents as to which sun bed belonged to which room. This could easily have been avoided. This was meant to be a couples only hotel and while we were there children were using the pool and we were told their Grandfather was staying at the hotel as if that was okay. Shorts for men are banned for evening dining. Why is this not implemented. Not enough tables outside to eat either for breakfast or dinner. Needs more security on entrance from beach to hotel. Not enough drawer space for clothes in room.

Hotel is located in a lovely bay which provides some privacy and creates a nice relaxing atmosphere with picturesque views. Our stay would've been great if it wasn't a poor service of the restaurant management, who have no manners and have no sense of hospitality whatsoever.

Lovely hotel with chilled vibe. Room lovely only let down by noisy air conditioning. Breakfast choice good but arrangements for finding glasses for juice not ideal. In large drawers in front of the coffee machines causing queues. Also, instructions for those not familiar with self serve Nespresso machines would be helpful, as this also caused delays. Queues ignored by maitre d on all 4 mornings we were there. Overall would return.

Child-free hotel in quiet corner of Camp de Mar

Camp de Mar is a smallish bay with only 4 large hotels - 150+ rooms. Blue Mar is a smaller hotel with under 100 rooms so is more relaxed and excused any package tour events. It is situated in the corner of the bay next to the beach and 2 very good restaurants.
The staff were extremely friendly and the service excellent. A glass of cava on arrival was a welcome addition.
If driving from Palma airport it takes 35 minutes following Andraitx signs and then take the turn for Camp de Mar. The address on Expedia does NOT list Camp De Mar in the hotel address and it is some 5 miles from Andraitx in the next bay. Taxis frim the airport cost approx. €40.00 and then there are buses into Palma should you want to visit.
Mallorca is a very busy destination and even in October there were still many tourists. If you can avoid school holidays and high summer - unless you like 40C!! It was 26C in Oct and very pleasant swimming in the sea.

Welcomed Mallorcan Break

Was pleasantly surprised with the Island of Majorca given the reputation it has gained as being the holiday hot spot for young people. The island itself is clean, smart, picturesque with fantastic panoramic views. The Hotel H10 Blue Mar was comfortable and an adult only hotel. It is undergoing renovation and some areas do need this. We were in a junior suite on the 5th floor which needs updating. The bathroom is outdated but was adequate for our stay. We were disappointed that although we paid the additional cost to have that extra luxury, it didn't match our expectations of high quality that a junior suite would normally portray. That said, the beds were extremely comfortable, the breakfasts were very good and the reception/bar area quite chic because this was all new. The pool area is outdated and needs some modernisation as does the building itself. It could do with a good paint over. We were also disappointed that the view from our room was a side sea aspect. Again something you think is automatic for a suite. It lacked some finishing touches which I would hope the management team will take on board e.g. full length glass doors showing handprints and finger marks. Nespresso coffee pods not replenished. Used cups and glasses not removed the whole stay. Perhaps we have high expectations so sorry if we do, its just that we pay to have added luxury so expect it especially from a 4* hotel.

Decent hotel close to beach

First impression were that the hotel was a little out of the way but there is a bus stop close by and fares are very reasonable i.e €1.65 to Santa Ponsa whereas the taxi cost €17. It's a very quiet area so.
The Hotel was clean and staff very welcoming and helpful...probably the hotel's best asset! However, there are not enough staff around... Only 2 waitresses that work all day and night in the restaurant and help at the bar and pool area. Only one person ran the bar so if it was busy there was always a wait. The chairs and tables outside are few and the most uncomfortable I have encountered. Most evenings there was some entertainment but it seemed that guests opted to go elsewhere to the few local bars around.

There are some luxury sunbeds and some away from the pool but unfortunately these were 'saved' every day whether used or not which was unacceptable. The first day we had to go to the beach which is right outside fortunately, but it costs €6.25 each for a bed. There are other sunbeds around the pool but they were very close together and few umbrellas.
Rooms were clean and comfortable but you have to climb awkwardly into the bath to use the shower and the shower was fixed high up.
There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room but no instructions how to use it and ours broke twice. No way of making ordinary coffee or tea. We also encountered problems with the card key ... For 2 days it created problems even after it was supposedly repaired - in the end we were given

Excellent location with picturesque views of beach

Stayed here for our honeymoon and had a lovely relaxing time, exactly what we were hoping for. Beautiful hotel in an exquisite location. Staff extremely helpful and went out of their way. Great breakfasts, excellent access to beach and first class facilities, would definitely go back.

Camp-del-Mar was gorgeous! the hotel is really nicely renovated, and the Chill-Room is a must!! the hotel staff is extremely helpful and nice, and the location is unbelievable! the only negative is that it's an adults-only resort but the beach is public, so filled with kids, but we didn't care as we chilled around the pool all day, and did the beach after 5 when it was less crowded!

Good looking hotel on a beautiful beach

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. If you're after a quiet and relaxed place then this is it. Lovely decor in the bar area with a cool vibe but just wished it had a bit more atmosphere in the evenings...it died a death pretty early. Beach is footsteps away and crystal clear water...perfect!

Week away in paradise

Great hotel with wonderful staff. Location perfect and just a stones throw from the beach. Only negative was plates and some of the dishes were dirty. Crockery chipped on a few of our tables. Chairs in dining room need mending as they are very shaky and felt unsafe. Will be booking again for
next year.

Set in a beautiful bay. Very clean swimming pool.

Lovely small hotel, quiet, close to beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at H10 Blue Mar. The public areas are stylish and well-presented, with a lovely pool. Our room was comfortable, although a bit outdated compared to the public areas of the hotel, and the bathroom was perfectly clean but would have benefited from being upgraded. The view from our balcony was lovely, and we appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room. The hotel is very quiet; by 11pm each evening there would only be a handful of residents in the bar, so not a place for lovers of nightlife. The hotel has a policy of not allowing sun beds to be reserved by leaving towels etc on them, and the policy works - there were always free sun beds. Camp de Mar is a lovely small resort, with a few restaurants/bars, most of which were good. We loved the beach, and the hotel's proximity to it. Overall, we felt that we had landed on our feet, and we would certainly hope to return.

Excellent Relaxing Hotel

Wonderful relaxing boutique hotel in the quiet resort of Camp de Mar. Not many facilities in the resort, but a handful of small restaurants, mini market, ice cream parlour is all you need. The hotel was adult only - clean and quiet. Felt very much that we were left to ourselves to relax, but at any time could contact the hotel staff and they would attend to our request. Top quality sun loungers and complimentary beach towels. Private door led right to the beach to allow for daily swims in the sea.

Lovely hotel, ideal location for beach

Arrived looking for a quiet relaxed few days and this hotel offered it all. The superior rooms with the chill out beds were perfect for chilling out on in the evening. The location of the hotel was perfect, the beach was 50meters from hotel.
