Right from the happy welcome to leaving this place is perfect. We will never try anywhere else. The room is well decorated and good shower and amenities. Absolutely spotless and the perfect place for all the studios and Hollywood in general. This is our second time staying and won’t be our last, love it. I think the lady on reception was called Sheree, sorry if I pelt it wrong, her parents live the next town over from us in England, that was surreal. Thanks for the warm welcome after the trouble we had with a previous hotel.

Over-all, for the type of hotel, it was pretty good. The rooms were clean, but could use some cozy updating. The shades were old and broken and it has a cold feeling. Nothing special about the rooms at all. And for these reasons, I felt it was over-priced for the quality. I could've gotten a better room somewhere else for the price I paid. However, it was a safe neighborhood and a conveniently located... near a lot of attractions, restaurants, stores within walking distance, etc.. The only real issue I had was the fact that when I booked it via Orbitz, I was quoted a cheaper price, but was charged a higher price and didn't know it until afterwards when I looked at the receipt, and they would not honor the price I thought aI was getting when I called. That was frustrating, but not the hotels fault.

I booked this hotel due to the positive reviews and also the complimentary airport shuttle AND area shuttle to Universal. We had 3 different shuttle drivers and all 3 were very kind. We arrived early (before 4pm check in time), so we went to eat and did some shopping. Once we went back to the hotel, our room still was not ready but the male receptionist asked if we'd like another room that was ready. He even let us view it to make our decision which was fantastic. Everything we needed was walking distance and we would stay here again :)

I know the Safari Inn actually back in 1994. Location is perfect for me. Safety and access to any hospital is 3 minutes away. Poolside and dining are available 24/7. Quietest place to rest and bring family. Staff is helpful. Parking available in front of my room. Always my go to place without waiting or crowds. I will be back again

My sister and I stayed here two nights as part of a girls trip for her 50th birthday. We loved the hotel! The staff were friendly and professional. The grounds and room were very clean and well kept. The pool was crystal clear, the perfect temperature, and we enjoyed a swim both nights. We utilized the free shuttle to Universal Studios, which was exactly on time and convenient. This hotel has been featured in some movies and television shows and we just loved the classic feel of it. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Arrived earlier than expected, they were able to accommodate me within the hour with a room. Room was clean, staff was helpful, I have no complaints. One thing to be aware of when booking is there is a $250 charge on debit and $150 charge on your credit cards for incidentals. So come prepared! Other than that this hotel will always be my family’s favorite while visiting Universal Studios. The card shop across the street, liquor store, and Mc Donald’s are all within a 3 minute walk.

Ive stayed at this property twice for a universal studios trip and both times were great! Its local, upkept and has a shuttle service that is free. Late check out is amazing. I would recommend if youre there as a couple get the king suite with a kitchen. The double beds are a bit tight for two people but thats soley on me for booking later. I will continue to use their property in the future. Very clean property with a heated pool!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The room was lovely and there were little elements such as Starbucks coffee, deodorant, toiletries and a bottle of water which were nice little touches. We used the shuttle to downtown Burbank and Universal which was so convenient. The staff couldn't do enough to help, the hotel and the area are wonderful.
