Recommended in Calella.

I had an excellent beach front facing room with balcony. Room was somewhat tired and dated, particularly the bathroom. Food was tasty enough, although it was basic with limited choice.

The location was great for the beach and the town centre. Staff were very friendly.

This is a very affordable hotel and we had an enjoyable stay. I recommend it highly if you are on a budget

Lovely staff, the food at buffet was not warm enough in general although generally a decent varied choice was on offer. Drinks in restaurant were fairly priced.

Poor quality / poorly fitted blinds in junior suite meant far too much light entered room early in the morning. Black out blinds would be a better solution.

The bed was not very comfortable.

Location was excellent. The junior suite patio was fantastic.

Aircon in room helped keep us cool.

Was a decent break all in all, probably wouldnt return due to poor sleep quality caused by poor bed and blinds.

We booked a room with a balcony and lovely sea view, but we could not sit on the balcony because when opened the balcony door, insects would immediately enter the room. We went inside and shut the balcony doors, but later we saw that there were hundreds of small insects on the ceiling. It was late, but the staff gave us a new room. In the new room, there were also insects, but not as many. We asked to change rooms again, but nothing was available. The staff handed us a can of insect repellent, telling us we could spray the room. At check-out we expressed our dissatisfaction. The receptionist was rude and never apologized . He told us to call Expedia if we had a complaint. We won´t return to this hotel.

Good quality at low prices

The hotel is really well situated across the road (train tracks) to the beach. The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is lovely. My only negative point is that the water pressure in the shower is very poor. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely visit again if I was in the area

Main negative issue for me was the poor sound insulation between rooms. Others include, lumpy pillows, WiFi didn't reach bedroom on 3rd floor and no free drinking water at breakfast or dinner.

Shocking would NEVER go back.
They treat their guests terribly including shouting and belittling them in front of all the other guest's.
Would give 2 out of 10 for the food.
Rooms basic but noisy in evenings with a drilling noise late at night.
Wifi only works in limited areas around reception.
You are charged extra for safe keys and data in your room.
If you want to watch TV which only has one E English channel, you will have to pay a deposit of 20€.
You are also expected to clean up after your meals and don't ask anyone how things work in the self service restaurant as you get ignored or shouted at.
Would rather pay extra and be treated with respect ,as a paying client should.

The room was spotless and quiet and I really couldn’t fault it. The only gripe I could have with this hotel is there were no vegetarian foods available at lunch or dinner. I accept that’s my ‘awkwardness’ and can honestly say that if you were a meat eater, it was practically perfect.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!

The hotel rooms are old and tired. If you want to watch to you have to pay €20.00 which is refunded at the end of your stay. The food is very cold and bland. The waiting staff are lovely and friendly but the night receptionist was a total nightmare and was really rude. On my last night there, there was a full blown fight going on and no staff intervened or called security. I just stayed locked in my room. When I told reception in the morning about it, all I got in response was 'oh'

Clean room with comfortable bed. Good choice of food. Staff always helpful. Only downside would be that the poolside is small and there were only a few sunbeds with no brolly's but as the hotel is so close to the beach this is not a huge issue. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay.

Recommended for an economical stay in Calella.

Nice budget hotel at a good location. The room was adequate with a balcony. There was a charge for WiFi in your room although they allowed you 15 minutes free daily. Free wifi in common areas but not very good. The food was fairly basic with not much choice. That said, I enjoyed it! I would definitely stay again and enjoyed the experience. Friendly staff. Well worth considering.

The Hotel is in a good location by the seafront, nice views, location was good with easy car parking nearby but might be different in the summer. All clean & Good, meals were a little samey mass catering style, not great for fussy eaters but that's fairly standard really. The Free Wifi was a bit rubbish & you had to sit near reception to get it to work at all, Paying 5 Euros a day for access elsewhere is a bit dated really these days, should be free & reliable as in most places as standard. Overall a nice Hotel though, would recommend for the price!

Cheap and cheerful, very clean in a good location. Calella is a pedestrian friendly town with plenty of restaurants and shops and only 40mns to the GP circuit and Barcelona a further 15mns. Rooms come in three styles - standard, suite (larger room/balconies) and front facing all are presented clean (daily) and tidy.The standard and suites do not have the best views. Staff are very helpful and friendly some speak several languages. The restaurant is a buffet style service of salad or meat/veg or pasta unfortunately this is often cold (straight from the kitchen) and not the most appetising a microwave is supplied. While we were there a number of school coaches arrived which resulted in some noise from the balconies until late unfortunately no one wanted to take charge! WiFi was free in the public areas but very poor.

having a son who loves trains and a daughter who loves the sea,,,,a wife like most who likes shopping.haromar was great for us.railway and beach within hopping distance.very quiet location even though right on the front...aircon in room was good very quiet compared to some i have had......good breakfast if you get up early enough,your own fault if you miss out...i did,overslept a few times.would we go again,(me,wife and 2 young and 2 older kids)most definetely......loved every minute of are stay.....

Hotel rooms need small fridge. No hair dryer. Food amazing, a lot to choice from, had 3 meals per day and very happy with them. Honestly a lot of choices!!! Small pool outside.easy access to El Prat barcelona a/port by bus 603/614 ticket price 9.5€, bus stop 5 min walk. Hotel offer transfer but cost 22€pp. if u want to watch tv 20€ deposit for remote , do not use a/ con.

Incredibly noisy room meant no sleep for the nights we were there. That said we felt particularly engaged with our neighbours and their child despite having never met them.

The hot breakfast was curious in the way it was served cold. Of course the incorrect information given on breakfast timings meant on the first morning it wasn't \"enjoyed\" at all.

Check in is a lengthy process seemingly taking about 20 minutes per party. It allows for extensive exploration of the reception area however.

I'm currently staying here for 6 nights and yes the rooms are nice with a good balcony but my main complaint is no A/C.
It's been +32c here everyday.

I'm an electrician back home and I know when A/C works or not and ours doesn't work.
I made 4 different complains about our air conditioning and no one cares and the maintenance guy just think that standing in front of it and having stale room air blow at you is air conditioning (The air conditioning is literally just recirculating the rooms air).

We've been up all night for 2 nights, we had no choice but to open the door and let the flies, cigarette smoke and loud noises from all the people partying all night.

It's a shame that they won't let me try a different room to see if its this whole building or just our room(308).

I stayed in this hotel in September and I loved. I paid for single room but got lovely a suite on the 7th floor with big balcony and sun loungers. Great location just near the beach and close to shops. there was a train line on the front but I couldn't hear nothing apart from szumu morza.
Lovely and friendly staff, they could speak Russian, English and German. I paid for full board but next time will go for half board. Food was average I'm a bit fussy but there was always something for me. Good thing- I didn't put extra few kilos when I come back :-) Room was nice and cleaned every day, very thick walls but didn't bothered me much. Shame it was only one English channel. I had a lovely time and definitely will come back here

Goede locatie. Vlakbij restaurants en winkels. Dichtbij het strand, alleen weg oversteken en met tunneltje onder spoor door.
Fijn zwembad erbij (niet heel groot).
Kamers schoon (wel verouderd).

Negatief:
Geen parkeergelegenheid erbij dus je moet een plek zoeken op straat (€ 8,- per dag). Wordt op gecontroleerd! Van 7:00 tot 22:00 betaald parkeren dus eigenlijk moet je om 7u nieuw bonnetje achter de vooruit gaan leggen. Betalen alleen met munten of creditcard. Geen betaalkaart of briefgeld.
Ontbijt vonden wij niet goed. Niet internationaal. Bijv. geen gebakken ei of roerei, geen jus d’orange, geen kaas. Aan jam zat nauwelijks smaak.
Badkamer vreemde indeling. Kon niet fatsoenlijk op wc zitten want dan zat je met knieën tegen bidet aan.
Geen koelkastje op kamer dus als bar dicht was (23:30) kon je eigenlijk niks meer drinken. Althans niks kouds.

Alligevel at det er et 2 stjernet hotel er det som om at hotellet gør som de altid har gjort fra gamle dage. Aircondition var ikke til at styre og var placeret et dårligt steder så den blæste på sengen. Kun en lille affaldsspand på badeværelset. Så lidt tryk på vandet at man ikke kunne kalde det at bruse. Toilet sad ikke fast i gulvet. Kun 2 stikkontkater i værelset. En gammel altan som man ikke var sikker på. Morgenmaden var der nok af men det var det samme hver dag og kogte æg som var helt kolde. Vi både på sjette sal og det var tit svært at få en elevator for der var 2 små med max.4 personer som kørte hele tiden. Vi brugte ofte trapperne som dog gav os lidt motion. Det er vigtigt at drikke vand og her var der ingen køleskab på værelset som kunne være et stort plus. Rengøring glemte tit håndklæder, affaldspose or der var nogle små poser med badesæbe som blev givet hver dag med en lille potion sæbe i. Vi ved at næste gang vi skal til Calella så bliver der brugt lidt flere penge på hotellet.

Très déçue....

Personnel agréable, sympathique et à l'écoute. Buffet petit-déjeuner correct. Hôtel vétuste, vue sur immeuble en face à 2 mètres qui était en travaux.
Pas de double vitrage donc bruit des travaux le matin et bruits de la rue et des soirées organisées par les hotels voisins le soir.
Murs très mal insonorisés entre les chambres. Très peu dormis car on entendait les discussions et les ronflements des voisins.
Je ne reviendrai pas.

Todo muy bien, el personal excelente. Lo único que al hotel le hace falta una renovación general ya que está un poco anticuado.
Por lo demás me gustó la ubicación, el bufet desayuno.

Es un hotel que deberían invertir en mejorar sus instalaciones, si no pueden pueden, deberían mejorar pequeños detalles como lámparas , colchas.. A pesar de esto es limpio, la comida aunque no hay mucha variedad al ser un hotel pequeño esta bien. Deberían invertir también en actualizar un sistema operativo de recepción, ya que por lo que vi el programa no es ágil. y si notificas una incidencia lo hacen manualmente. eso hace que tiempo de espera en recepción se alargue. Pero lo trabajadores muy bien y atentos.

Siempre volvemos aquí.

Este hotel es ideal para personas que quieran disfrutar de la tranquilidad. También tienes la opción de poder salir de fiesta no muy lejos de él. Las vistas al mar son maravillosas , el bufete está bastante bien y la limpieza correcta.

Relación calidad-precio excelente

La verdad es que hemos estado muy a gusto.
Por el precio que pagas, recibes un muy buen servicio:
- Habitación: muy limpia, cama cómoda (las almohadas ya es más personal) amplia y baño también amplio y aire acondicionado. El wifi va bien.
Como punto negativo, no hay una silla donde sentarse y las paredes no aislan nada.
- El personal es muy amable
- Buffet: la verdad es que me ha sorprendido para bien. La calidad en general es muy buena, la mayoría de platos estaban ricos, con sabor. La variedad no es para tirar de cohetes pero casi mejor ya que así no picas de todo y no llegas con más kilos a casa.

Así que en general, muy buen sitio para alojarte en Calella y cerca de la playa.
