The male staff members were most unhelpful and some barely spoke/understood english (they felt repeating themselves without answering the question would be ok). Often they would just stand there or go about their business ignoring you The female staff was the other extreme. very helpful and very supportive. so if you have issues, talk to one of the ladies who will actually help you out.
The room was a hole in the wall with uneven floors and a steep step off coming out of the bathroom. this was made worse by the step off when leaving the room. We almost fell twice in the night - they did warn us at check in but nothing prepares you for what they told us. Construction was going on so place was quite noisy and frankly they should have shut down. Pro was connection to public transportation was good and the central location. However, I wouldnt recommend/stay if I go to Kyoto again.

I paid and used the washing and drying machine and there were no bags to bring our clean clothes up to our room, so I went up to get a bag to put my clean clothes and some other guess just took out all my clean clothes on the dirts box where people put the dirts out for the dryer. I am a girl and a guy just took out all my clothes, panties and bars out on the open area. I went to the lobby and tried to explained the situation to the staffs and there were 4 staffs and none of them helped me. I felt super unsafe and super not happy about the services. I had never stayed in a hotel feel so insulted. I will never come back again.

Very nice room and friendly staff. Room was clean and decently sized. Really close to a station so access to the rest of the city was easy. Nishiki market is a walkable distance. The Pokémon store is also very near by. A family mart is super close. A lot of dining options available

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The quality of the hotel past the lobby was disgusting and disappointing. The photos on the Expedia website were probably taken ten years ago. The bath was moldy, the vents were full of dust, and the tatami mats were alll stained. I do recommend. This hotel is very over priced.

Location wise, it is walkable to major shopping areas, that's a plus. However, room wise, the bed is considered low/close to the floor, so it is a bit hard to get up comparing to a standard bed. In addition, there are steps once stepping into the guest room, a step to the bed area, and another step to the bathroom. Not exactly friendly for seniors.

This property was little bit outdated. AC was Leaking out of water that I need to put a towel underneath . Bedroom ventilation doesn’t work. Bed and pillows are super uncomfortable. Me & my daughter got insect bites all over the body.

Great all around hotel at an even better price. Had a poor stay at another hotel before EN Hotel Kyoto and it's safe to say that it saved the trip. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good amenities and decent location. Only things is change are putting an outlet in the bathroom and making the bathroom itself a bit bigger. Other than that, I think you’d have a hard time finding a better bang for your buck.

The hotel was ok. The WiFi has awful and for travellers from abroad WiFi is pretty key in order to plan your day etc. The hotel was very noisy, as in from your room you could hear everything in the corridor. There was also a smell of smoke when the window was open. Location was good but if you plan to stay for a well, I’d look elsewhere.

Lots of positives about the place but several things really bothered us during our stay. First, the wifi was horrible for our floor. No connection all the time and had to use our data most of the time. Second, the bathroom is way too tiny even in Japan standard. Lastly, the AC was incredibly loud and many other amenities need an upgrade very soon.

This hotel was overall beautiful, great location and comfortable for the 4 of us to stay in 1 room. Keeping in mind everything is just smaller in Japan, that would be my only con is there really is no floor space with 4 beds but other than that I have no complaints. Staff was always nice and helpful!

Nice hotel, great location as it’s so close to the bus stops and station which made it easy to get around. The staff were always so pleasant and accommodating, the room itself was a normal size (what you expect in Japan) and the amenities were good. Only wish that they cleaned our room/ bathroom better when we put our sign out as we stayed there 4 nights so fresh sheets and a general clean would’ve been nice but not a deal breaker at all! Also found great little food spots near us and the markets are close by! As well as a family mart right across the street, which was sooo handy! Would recommend for an affordable and nice stay to anyone looking in Kyoto!

Had a perfect stay here, located right next to so many food options, and a bus stop. I'd say the best thing about this hotel is that its located so close to the Nishiki Marke, and sooo many shopping places from designer, vintage, and other name brands. I could shop there forever.

Overpriced and not worth the money.

The property is not worth staying. I would not come back again. Paid $300/night for a subpar twin room. The issue isn't the service but the actual amenities and room.

Few key things of note:

-room size and layout: it is barely larger than what APA typically offers for their rooms but it's 3x the $$$.

***There is a slight step by the entrance where folks typically put their slippers but unlike most places where you can spot this, it is literally less than a full step away from the door and awkwardly shaped. We almost tripped on TWO occasions coming into the room.

-The breakfast: not worth getting. It's one plate of food of which consist of a scoop of garden salad and two small pieces of bread and 2-3 thin slices of orange(they don't even provide half a fruit!) and a small bowl of soup. There was nothing else (no eggs,meat ,rice)

Juice was prepackaged. For anyone staying here just avoid the breakfast you'll have more food and options in the middle of a flight. Just go to a 7-11 nearby.

The beds:the bed toppers they use are much larger than the mattress. If you sit or sleep anywhere close to the edge you'll slide.

The bathroom: it's small, literally one or two small steps are enough to cover the dimensions of the bathroom floor. No extra towels.

Toilet: cramped space and the fact that the bidet top that they installed is much larger than the base of the toilet seat will make you feel like You're constantly sliding when sitting on the toilet. This is not comfortable.

I give it the total score of 4.5 over 5,.so I like it overall . However, it does have a few drawbacks. 1. Bathroom design should be improved for feet and leg safety. 2. Two Laundry machines in the building basement is not enough for so many customers. 3. Although the room is small, no chair is still hard to accepted. The lounge in the basement is crowded sometimes.

The rooms were full of dust, the bed was made up from 4 children's like mattresses that were joined together, making the sleep impossible and the bathroom was really dirty. On top of that, there was not even a seat in the room to stay on and the mattresses were simply put on the floor, accentuating the feeling of dirtiness because of all the dust was at the face level.
The room was next to the cleaners' room at the end of the hallway and from very early in the morning, the noise was loud and unpleasant, sealing a night of poor sleep with an early morning abrupt wake.
The other hotel inhabitants were noisy up until late in the night and we also got a lot of food smells and smoke from a restaurant below.
Really bad experience.

The room was small for 3 adults but the bathroom wasn’t very clean especially the tub. One night we heard a huge fight going on above us that was alarming and when we requested an extra pillow the staff said no. For the price it is what to be expected but from all of our other stays this one has been so far the lowest on our recommendations.

3 night stay, nothing special, good for the price

We stayed here for 3 nights. The check in was lovely, and staff were very helpful with storing our bags during the day so we could explore The city.

The area around the hotel is great - plenty of shops and restaurants, and a train station just a few blocks away.

Unfortunately the room was a bit shabby - the toilet flush was broken and span 360 degrees - getting caught and causing a continual flush after we used the toilet for the first time. The handle for the bathroom was also hanging off - all the screws had come loose. I was able to fix these minor problems myself easily - but it’s a shame neither had been caught by cleaners before our arrival. Otherwise the room was perfectly serviceable - if a bit small - but for the price we paid I think it was very reasonable.

Overall I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for somewhere clean and cheap to stay - and intend to spend most of your stay outside exploring rather than in the hotel.

我和爸媽一起住一個晚上，在零晨2，3點時我爸爸上廁所時就被門邊整傷腳趾，流血不止。房內無電話可使用，去到大堂只有一個牌告知有需要請打電話。相信大家現在旅行電話絕大部份都只有流量并沒有通話功能。只好攞錢再去便利店買消洗止血用品回來再打算。我們前後落大堂數次，一直無人。直到後來止不到血，再落大堂決定用前枱電話打出。在電梯開門的時候聽到一點聲音，我嘗試大叫小房內是否有人，叫了很多聲，終於有人回應及走出來，最後接近2小時終於叫到救護車來。而爸爸的腳縫了16針，整個旅程都燬了。
酒店的問題：
1：前台半夜無人，電話應放在枱上，以防客人沒有電話可以。
2：房內無電話，想打電話要
求救都不可以。
3：并沒有醫藥箱或AED機在明顯位置，沒有搵到相關位置放在哪。
4：酒店讓爸爸在房內，休息到下一間酒店的可以入住為止。但并沒有為事件道歉或其他。
因為我其後住了幾間酒店，再沒見過廁所門邊是有門軌，都是平整的門邊。
老人家一同入住，我不建議。

Accueil chaleureux, personnel à l'écoute et serviable. Petit déjeuner conforme à la description. Machine à café à grain accessible et boisson de bienvenue offerte. Il y a un coin machine à laver disponible (400¥ la machine+produit et 100¥ le sèche linge).
Concernant la chambre :
- le ménage n'a pas été fait le troisitjour (eco cleaning)
- de la poussière était visible sur les meubles et les bouche de ventilation
- Le miroir était abimé dans la salle de bain et une ampoule de l'éclairage principale de la chambre était grillée.
- La fenêtre au dessus du lit laissait passer de l'air, même fermée.
Emplacement de choix pour accéder au bus et métro facilement. Merci pour votre accueil.

員工很親切，但硬體設施真的太糟糕了，房間非常窄小，幾乎沒有放置行李的地方，床非常低矮，就放在木板上而已，非常容易跌倒或踩到腳痛，空調完全不冷，廁所是一體式廁所，非常小間，且設計非常差，高度落差也非常大，使用浴缸後廁所會淹水，房間到處都是大量灰塵，清潔度很有問題，價格也不便宜，要不是為了住在朋友附近，根本不想在這住宿，幸好只有臨時住一天，在日本最糟糕的一次住宿體驗。

O quarto era grande para o padrão Japonês. O café da manhã era uma sopa, salada e alguns croissants que variavam conforme o dia.
O atendimento dos funcionários da recepção foi excelente! Eles nos ajudaram bastante e inclusive traduziram algumas informações para a gente, o que facilitou nossa viagem!
Única sugestão seria adicionar alguma proteína ao café da manhã.

いつもお世話になります。いつも室内を広く使えてよかったです。また、延長コードのレンタルする際にも手際よく対応していただいてスタッフさんには感謝です。
ただ、今回は401号室でしたが、なぜか部屋に戻るとTVがついていて怖かったです。TVの影響か、他から何か電波が来たのかわかりませんが。。。

Waren zu dritt für vier Nächte in dieser Unterkunft. Für drei Leute sind die Zimmer etwas zu klein, sodass man sich immer im Weg steht. Ansonsten ist es in Ordnung. Lediglich das Frühstück ist etwas traurig, da es kein Buffet sondern immer das gleiche mit einem ungemachten Salat gibt.
Zentrale Lage in der Nähe einer großen Einkaufsstraße ist dagegen top!

今回は801号室に宿泊をしましたが、コンセントがTV台のみとなっており、その下に分配用コンセント（たこ足？）がついていなかったので、お湯を沸かしながら、スマホなどの充電ができなかったのが残念です。
全室に分配コンセントが付くことを希望します。

いつも仕事で利用していますが、今回は妻を同行し利用させていただきました。部屋は相変わらず使いやすく、清潔でよかったのですが、バスルームにコンセントがないということと、大きめの鏡がリビングにないため、ヘアメイクなどがやりにくかったと妻が言っておりました。女性目線ではいろいろあるものですね（男性では気が付きませんでした）。

本日は201号室に宿泊させていただきました。TWINが空いていたとのことで変更していただいてうれしかったのですが、空調（おそらくバスルームの換気扇）の音がうるさく、寝つきにくかったです。
また、EN HOTELさん全般の話ですが、部屋が暗い傾向があるので、調光などで、明るくなるスペースがあるとうれしいです。
本日から、妻を迎えて京都旅行を楽しみたいと思います。いつも御世話になっているEN HOTELさん。今回もよろしくお願いします。

清掃に難ありかもしれません。

出張のため、シングル連泊で利用させていただきました。
ホームページの写真から、てっきり窓から外が見えるシングルルームだと思って予約しましたが、案内された部屋は窓を開けるとすぐ向かいの建物が迫っており、朝でも真っ暗でした。
さらに室内の照明が少なく非常に暗くて、目が悪い自分にとっては過ごしにくかったです。
タオルから長い髪の毛が出てきたので気持ち悪く、布団も合わなかったのか下半身が発疹だらけになってしまったので、わけを説明して部屋を変えていただきました。
その際、とても丁寧に謝罪と対応してくださったのは素直に有り難かったのですが、新しい部屋でもまたタオルから長い髪の毛が出てきてショックでした。

バス停からも近く利便性がよかったです。シンプルな客室も使い勝手が良く快適でした。
地下のラウンジでいただけるウェルカムドリンクがサプライズ的で嬉しかったです。
フロント、ラウンジ共にスタッフの方々がにこやに対応されているのが印象的でした。コスパも良いのでま利用させていただきたいです。

The room was a little different from photos (single bed room), the bed was smaller than it looked also cold wind was coming in from the window.
Other than that, the whole facility was clean and it was nice to have one free drink at the bar of basement floor.

優點部分
交通方便、早餐便宜、有贈送酒吧券
缺點部分
打掃沒有很確實、房間設計成和式風格但也因此沒有桌椅，如果需要長時間在房間內處理事情會比較累。

호텔위치와 직원응대는 마음에 들었습니다.하지만 청결상태는 최악이었습니다.시설이 노후된 것은 이해하지만 욕실과 침대 청결상태,커튼 등은 최악이었습니다.돈이 아깝다는 생각이 절로 났습니다
