The hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk away from the Yilan train station, 10 minutes' drive from the national highway no. 5 and about 45 minutes' drive from Nangang and Xin-Yi Development District in Taipei.

The hotel offers a wide range of services assuring a comfortable stay to its guests, including leisure, dining and meeting facilities. Silk Place Yilan is a very popular destination for young families as it caters to the needs of younger children. We came for a weekend because our 7 and 9 yo children REALLY want to ride the motorcycles in the hotel (as advertised online). We reserved the family room only to find out those rooms DO NOT come with a motorcycles/automobiles because our room is on the 11th floor. Unless you reserve the 8th, 9th, or 10th floor rooms, your room does not come with a car/motorcycle for your child(ren) to drive in. This was not clear on the website at all. The children can still drive on the 8th floor in the fastasical castle area but it's only limited to that space. There is no motorcycles available on the fastasical castle tho. It was disappointing to learn of this fact after we arrived and there was nothing the staff can do about it since all the rooms have been reserved. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the organized events (hide-and-seek in the mall during off-hours, scavenger hunt and BINGO night for a chance of a free one-night-stay). For the price we paid (USD$750+ per night), I didn't expect anything less. The staff was friendly overall and the breakfast buffet was good. There are drinks and snacks available throughout our stay in the various cafe/play area in the hotel.

The hotel has amazing facilities for children including battery powered cars for the kids to drive around the hotel. Crazy and fun. Free cinema tickets for the multiplex in the adjoining shopping centre and a good swimming pool.

We had a delightful family stay at this hotel! The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start our day. The kids especially loved riding their motor car and bike outside the room walkway—it was such a thoughtful touch for families. The staff’s excellent customer service truly stood out; they were attentive and friendly throughout our stay.

However, the cost of the stay was on the higher side, which made it feel less value-for-money. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown, as it looked old and not well-maintained. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to the family-friendly activities and exceptional service.

Amazing Relaxing Trip

Amazing !!! At first when we arrived by car, we thought this place looks a bit down. Their hotel entrance is very low key, and does not feel grand. you can opt to drop off your luggage and they will deliver to your room.

The hotel is next to a shopping mall (literally stuck to it), and parking is plenty (shopping mall). Hotel reception is at 6FL. Once you get to the reception hall - it feels like a proper 5 star hotel.

The room and service are just as you expect from a 5 star hotel. We had room with balcony.

Must try the Red-lantern restaurant where they serve Yilan's best Roast Duck.

Oh, there is also a cinema at the mall. There is a direct access from the hotel - feels like royalty.
Last but not least, you can watch all the movies you wanted - for FREE. Just book the tickets with concierge.

Family-oriented 5 star hotel in Yilan. The best things about the stay are the motorised vehicles for kids to drive up to the doorstep, free movies at the cinema and the carstel where you are given a car FOC to drive (condition is you must stay 2 nights). Many other activities for kids and adults. Hotel is linked to Luna plaza with movie theatre.

My 2yo toddler enjoyed the facilities tremendously! We didnt stay at the 8th/9th floor but seeing how noisy it can get there, we didnt regret it either. My boy couldn't really steer the vehicles but my husband kept bending down to steer for him. Haha.

kids from 3-7 should be happy with the vehicles provided. The swimming pool is a bit small but is suitable for kids. Highly recommends to try to Chinese restaurant. The duck dishes is amazing.

Very kid friendly, kids loved 8th and 9th floor race tracks that leads to their room and they can park their car in front of the room. The rooms were dated but spacious. Breakfast buffet wasn’t great, luckily the hotel is attached to a mall, there’s other restaurants available on 4th floor.

Excellent property for taking kids on holiday. Ride on electric cars for fantasy castle rooms on levels 8 & 9. Outdoor playground including jumping castle etc. Free movies at the cinema complex within same building. Included breakfast. Nice toiletries in room. Definitely a place to come to with kids.

Yi land Silk Hotel Review

Overall a good location, staffs are helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel room is specious, clean and up to our expectation. Though this is a family friendly hotel and is offered many facilities for this, but for visitors or business travelers, this may not be the best pick.

Great place for kids

Excellent place for kids and parents. Great choice to go with other families. Would be even better if there were more local food choices in hotel. It would also be a good idea to have some children tracking system within hotel.

Nice Hotel with cars for the kids

It was a great hotel for kids. The staff was very nice and helpful.
The room was a tad old with lots of stains on the floor.
The water pressure was weak.
The best part was the cars that the children can drive around.
Snacks was provided in the Wow Bar however could only be consumed in there. The Wow Bar was always very pack and the staff was not accommodating to allow the children to have their drinks and snacks in their rooms.

Very good kids hotel

Very good kids hotel and basically we can spend the whole day there without going out. My kid loves the bouncy castle and the cars.

For adults, can go to the spa or chill out in the swimming pool.

The room is good size and clean and comfortable.

The staff are efficient but as a kids hotel, I think they are lacking a bit of passion for kids.

Expensive but they deliver the value. Overall a good hotel to go to if u are travelling with a kid.

Paradise for kids

It was a paradise for kids. Can spend all day long in the hotel without going out. Kids enjoyed their driving experience all around the 8 and 9th Floor. They all parked their cars outside the hotel rooms. The rooms were clean and we all love all the amenities (eg. the Dyson hairdryers) and the sleeping tent inside each room. The playrooms were clean and had so much to do there including watching various Disney movies. As the hotel guests, they could go to the cinema next to the hotels to enjoy the latest movies for free. The free Sony driving video games near the Lobby were also much fun for the whole family. Will definitely come back again!

Very kid friendly and comfortable

The staff was very nice and professional. The food was great, the kids’ facilities were nice and clean, with sanitizers everywhere.
There’s also the playroom on the kids floor with a free-flow of snacks and all sorts of drinks.
Pool and spa very clean and comfortable as well.

Amazing hotel for kids

We did not stay long enough to truly sample the amenities. Amazing bathroom with sauna and soaker tub. Nice view ftom the huge balcony. The only downsides are that it’s a little overpriced and better suited for families rather than couples

The best hotel ever for kids

Kids Heaven. The room is spacious and children really love the tent provided! Breakfast buffet is great with lot of varierty. But the drinks at the lounge is poor for both ice coffee and ice chocolate, tasteless. We had 2 nights at the Fantasy Floor, and kids are provided with a wide range of car choices! We also particiapted at the water fight game at the pool and also the weekend \"running man\" activities during our stay! such a memorable experiences for both my daughter and myself. Wow land is also great, we have spent a while over there, with unlimited drinks and snacks. The playground on 8/F is full of joy, and staff are friendly, nice and helpful. We will definitely come again!

Ideal for family vacation.

Probably all you could get for a family vacation. Two of the floors actually have the corridors transformed into racetrack for kids electric cars. Also different outdoor and indoor areas for kids. For the adults, you get spa, free cinema tickets etc.

A fantastic hotel for adults and children

The 2 families stayed for 1 night at the hotel and we stayed on the 10/F. It is a fantastic hotel. Hotel facilities and amenities are well equipped. The hotel was designed for kids and facilities are all children friendly. Hotel staff are nice and warmly welcomed us at the Concierge. The 10/F suite is located on a quiet floor, very spacious. I guess it is far less busy than 8/F or 9/F with the electric cars running around.

The hotel breakfast was excellent and have a great variety of choices of food and beverages. Other restaurants also offer great food.

In a nutshell, very good value for money and all adults and children are happy with the stay.

Provided with all you needs! Children friendly. And of course the driving corridor is fun! They have bingo arranged every Saturday night and it was fun too. The only drawback is that you will need to pay extra for additional car rental, however the room charge is paid per person.

遇到房間在裝修，商家直接幫忙免費升級，家庭四人房直接升級豪華雙人套房（直接升四個等級！），不愧是等級第二的房間太讓人驚艷了！覺得自己才住一晚有點虧😂，之後絕對會再二訪！要過去玩一定要住兩個晚上才玩得到東西，住一天行程真的太趕了！第一天中午12:30就能先辦理入住手續，辦完就可以先去游泳，所以泳具一定要分開放！一定要先拿出來噢！我自己還傻傻跟行李放一起，少了很多玩樂的時間。為什麼要住第二晚？因為可以電影畫完午夜場，睡到9點吃早餐再繼續玩其他設施！大部分設施要早上9:00過後才會開放！
