Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a rock. We had a 5 year old who stayed with us and even she said her little back hurt. Rooms were clean at least. Management seems to be non existent and hard to reach out to. Doesnt tell you the pool is closed until you are at check in and there is a small sign telling you its under renovation. We had a 5 year old who was crushed when we told her all day she could swim when we checked in.

We’ve stayed at other hotels but this was the WORST ! Construction going on that we were not notified about. Our room was so NOISY from construction & outside traffic that it was Ridiculous ! Did actual good windows cost too much? On Saturday after our family wedding, which is ONLY REASON we stayed w/others there, there were people running around screaming in hallway! Your front desk clerks were unresponsive to simple polite social interactions & ALL RUDE ! I will NEVER STAY at another Hampton especially for your higher rates.

The booking and check in/check out process via the Hilton app was excellent as always. The digital key is fantastic. We frequently stay at Hampton Inns and generally have good experience with them. This particular stay was not great. For starters, the hotel was under renovation, we arrived after dark and the whole front of the hotel was dark and torn up. At first we thought it was closed down.
The room was satisfactory, although the ice machine on the second floor was not functioning.
Around 1:30 am we were awoken by extremely loud motorcycle engines screaming, which went on repeatedly for several minutes. (This, of course was no fault of the hotel, but maybe not the best location for the property?). At 5:30 am, the construction equipment fired up, loud engines, banging and beeping. I can appreciate that the property needs to be and is being updated, but I wouldn’t stay there again until the work is done. Breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly and helpful, just didn’t get a great nights’ sleep this time.

It was really nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and the was a Walmart and dollar store right beside it and a couple nice places to eat that we walked to. There was also a gas station right behind it for quick drinks and snacks if you have kids. The kids loved the pool it was clean and warm. The room was clean and the beds were comfy.

The pool was closed, but that was the only drawback. Staff was accommodating, we had our puggle with us they could not have been nicer to him, The lady working evening/overnight (Holly)was more than kind to assist when we had a small issue after the Christian concert we were there to promote. Awesome can't wait to book there again.

Interior of hotel is outdated. The hallways are 100 degrees. There was a football team staying there who were unsupervised, running up and down the hall pounding on doors and a group of them were adjoining to our room. 1 of the kids was sleeping in the lobby. I had to call twice after 11:00 pm to have them shut it down. We should have been moved from the floor. It was na awful nights sleep. Also, a VERY beat up Sprinter van was nearly parked on top of me in an honors space. That's the reason I parked there in the 1st place. Shady location, beware.

I rented Room 301 at the New Philadelphia, Ohio, motel on November 8/9. Motel was fine as was the service. What you would expect from a Hampton Inn. I gave it an average not because of the facility but because of the totally oblivios and inconsiderate customer(s) in room either 303, 305, or 302. Kids being kids is fine during the day, or up to 10:00 or so at night. NOT ok at 2, 3, 4 and 5 AM. Doors slamming, people (adults and kids) yelling, banging on walls, etc. All night long. Ridiculous parenting. Don't know what the situation is but I had a very long drive getting up there and an even longer one on the 9th. Not Hampton's fault. Get a clue parents/guardians/whoever!

I was visiting New Philadelphia to help my sister move. We were both exhausted and arriving at the hotel was like we had just arrived at a resort. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the room could not have been better. I give it a nice strong 5 star rating.

Room was nice. Tile floors were filthy when we checked in Thursday and filthy when we checked out Saturday. That's 3 days, without the floors being cleaned. Also I was told check out was 12 and I asked for a later check out. They said I could have till 1. Then they tried to get us to leave at 1030 then told us we had to be out by 12 or well be charged for another night. We travel a lot and stay at a lot of hamptons. Breakfast was trash. Service was trash. Lobby and hallways dirty. We won't stay here again. Room was nice though

The room was clean, but was disappointed the following day when i was told i had to take all the dirty towels downstairs to get clean ones, and couldnt get new trash can liners. Pool was cold, but we were greeted with friendly staff upon arrival. Brrakfast was decent, would stay here again when coming bavk to amish country.

Very Upset Over No Hot Tub

Very unhappy and disappointed. When looking on Hotels.com I selected that I wanted a hot tub in the amenities list choice, the only amenity that I Checked!! This was a getaway for my husband’s birthday and he enjoys hot tubs. Hampton Inn in New Philadelphia came up and the first picture that Hotels.com showed me was the Hot Tub at this establishment, supposedly.
When we went to use the hot tub at 8pm we were told NO Hot Tub! If it had not been late in the evening I would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere that had a Hot Tub!
I used all my OneKeyCash that I had saved up for this reservation! I feel that I should be compensated some way for this false advertising through Hotels.com.

The interior of the hotel - esp. the first floor - was undergoing a major restoration. They had crews working day and night. It was noisy, dusty, and sometimes inconvenient. I came in one evening and there was no access to the elevator because they were re-tiling the floor. The food area (breakfast) was cleaned and decent looking on the last day, but awful before that. Don't plan on eating the breakfast. Room was OK, but you have to ask to get it cleaned or re-stocked. They charged a lot for a very mediocre offering. Noise was particularly bad at night - some from the neighboring area and some from work being done on the hotel.

Elevator Buzzing Drove Me Crazy

The hotel is currently under renovation (much needed) so it will be getting better, but one issue that's been for some time is the elevator. When you leave the elevator the doors don't close again and the buzzer starts buzzing after about a minute. My most recent stay had me right outside the elevator and that buzzing woke me up at midnight. I had to go out and send the elevator back down to the first floor to stop it. then I woke up at 1:00 am with the buzzer going again and had to send the elevator back to the first floor again to stop it. I slept terribly due to the issue of that elevator just buzzing. Someone should be able to fix that issue that's been happening since I started using that hotel over a year ago. I'll probably just start using the Holiday Inn down the street.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn a number of times over the years and have always been pleased with the rooms and especially the friendly and courteous staff. I'd planned to stay another night but needed to leave a day early due to weather and the long drive I had to make to return home, but will continue staying there for any further trips I have.

Okay for one night, but not the same Hampton feel we are used to. Very overpriced and outdated. Generally clean except the shower. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the whole property seemed to be well maintained. The free breakfast had a good selection of choices. The bed was comfortable. Although the area just around the property is just hotels and gas, so nothing special, it is conveniently located to area attractions. I would definitely stay there again if in the area for a day or two.

Property is definitely showing its age. The carpet is starting to come loose, there are water spots on the ceilings from leaks, the fixtures in the bathroom were coming loose from the wall. Staff was friendly and the room was clean though so it’s still a fine place to stay.

In town for granddaughters graduation party. Location 2 minutes from venue. Only staying one night. Staff very helpful. Facility clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. Free Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast. Many restaurants available. Will come back to this hotel.

Front desk ck in was most friendly and helpful. She even suggested another place to shop... Alley Cats and Fresh the Market, and downtown. We went the next day and had a delightful time.
Toilet in the room didn’t flush properly. Called front desk and sent someone right up to fix problem. Breakfast was wonderful !!!! Gr8 variety, food hot and selection well supplied

Stayed there before and liked all the easy access to shopping! Was a little up set the alarm clock would not set the clock the night before we left so I pullled the night stand out to unplug it to see if it would reset and there was Crackers Feathers and alot of dust which you could tell had'nt been cleaned in a real long time! I always stay at Hampton Inn and that was a first i have experienced that! Then get my statement thecweek after im home and they charged me another 54.00 and change for my stay because i booked throught you i guess!

It seemed a bit dated in decor. The workout room was adequate but the wallpaper was peeling and looked old. The shower in my room was handicapped equipped and was difficult to use. I couldn’t get the shower head to go back in the holder and water ended up ALL over the bathroom floor and even out into the entry way and closet! The spigot was hard to turn on and to keep the water temperature steady. Breakfast was adequate. The omelette was very good and the coffee was good. Front desk staff was friendly. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

This hotel is a dump in a dumpy neighborhood. The room was very small. There wasn't any hot water, or water pressure in the shower. The only thing they had for breakfast was oversalted eggs. Now i know why it was so cheap. I'm never staying here again

We reserved 2 queen beds. When we arrived we had one king and a super small, VERY OLD pull out couch. When we asked for them to move us to a room with 2 beds, they said they were fully booked. Isn’t the reservation we made a true reservation? Come on! We are not small people and we DID NOT pay that $$ to sleep on. LOVE SEAT!! Very disappointed and angry.

Everything was great except the water pressure was so low that the bath tub ran for 21 minutes and was less then half full. The water level was too low to get in and starting to cool off. We got the suite for the big bath tub so it was a little bit of a disappointment.
