If you want convenient access to good food and the beautiful Ohio Theater, stay at The Carlisle. It's a beautiful and clean facility. The complimentary breakfast is unbeatable! The Carlisle at Sugarcreek is most highly recommended!

We love the charm of this place. It's not like so many modern \"sterile\" accommodations. Everyone was friendly, everything was clean. A generous breakfast was served, and snacks were out in the evening. Convenient walk to a restaurant, gift shops, theater, and a bulk foods store.

This hotel is lovely! From the impressive staircase in the large foyer to the chairs and side tables that line the hallways, it is impressive. The artwork and quilts on the walls are charming and make the hotel so cozy.
Our room was spacious and, most importantly, very clean. Even my husband, who rarely comments on such things, thought this was the nicest hotel we had ever stayed in. We enjoyed the evening snacks in the large dining area and the comfortable seats by the fireplace in the sitting room. We plan to return later this year.

I'm quite certain my toe is broken. Front desk didn't seem to care to hear about it. I've gone from 1 bruised toe to 4 and a swollen bruised foot I can barely walk on.
Also we were disappointed with the fact temps went above freezing & had snow thawing above that soaked the VERY nicely furnished balcony. With a proper overhang I'd think that could be avoided. No way you'll sit on it during or after even a small summer rain.
Overall a 10 ! Beware of the ouchy bedposts that are literally in your path !

From the second we drove on the grounds until we departed, the hotel was beautiful, and the staff members went above and beyond, exceeding any and all expectations! Our room was spotless, the pool was a bit cool for my preference, but the hot tub was perfect! Evening snack was an extra thoughtfulness from the hotel to their guest and breakfast was top notch! Our first time staying, but it won't be our last. Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was more of a homemade variety - the eggs weren't runny and were kept fresh. Evening snacks were a nice treat that you don't get from other hotels. The common areas were nice to just hang out, work on a puzzle, read a book or just relax.

It was an AWESOME hotel to stay at.Next time we will make it so we are earlier and check out on Sunday as EVERYTHING IS CLOSED on Sunday. However we traveled to a nearby town and still had a wonderful stay! Beautiful countryside and pristine area!
