I was not aware that I had to stay at a different location without breakfast amenities until I checked in at the Main location . I had to drive a half mile to get breakfast! Not a major problem, however, I should have be told at time of booking, not when we checked it!

Reserved a room at Berlin heritage inn, cause we had family staying there. Ended up they were full and had to stay at a different location I guess still owned by same people but wasn’t specified when reserved and was a couple minutes down the road. No curtains in the room so when the suns up your up. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Everything was fine clean wise check in and all. Did not like being in a detached building-didn’t understand I would have to drive to it.

The breakfast- delux??? Everything in plastic bags to be heated up instead of chafing pans? Really? I don’t like heating things in plastic bags in a microwave- who knows what I’m infusing into the food? Choices were ok - what most motel 8s provide. If the yogurt container was any smaller I would have missed it.

A lot of traffic in this area even in this time of year.

No it wasn’t the room or the staff it was the surprise room deposit when I checked in.. if I had pets or smoked I would have taken a smoking or a pet friendly room, who wants hit with charges when you walk through a door to stay even if there supposed to be refunded.

The room was clean and neat. It was a quiet stay and the staff was nice. Breakfast was good, I would prefer fresh eggs and sausage or bacon but what was there and how it was packaged worked ok. Great location and shopping was great (weather was not so good the 2 days we stayed but we made the best of it ). Everything was still in Christmas decorations in and out of the stores and it as beautiful each store really does a wonderful job. We will definitely be back to vist.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at one of the Berlin Heritage Inn's properties. This stay was at the carriage house which is right off the main street in Berlin. Very convenient location which is a short walk up into town. Our room was large with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Very clean and very nice. There is no breakfast on site, but you can go eat at their main location which is within walkable distance too. We had our meals in town at the Boyd and Wurthmann restaurant and the Downtown Diner. The reason I mention where we ate is because the cherry pie at the diner was outstanding. The best. We visited on Thursday night and all-day Friday. So, the weekend crowds hadn't arrived yet.

First time staying here after reading positive reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly, the price was affordable, and the rooms were clean and quiet. Also for the cost to have breakfast included was such a nice bonus. The breakfast also wasn’t just muffins and other grab and go items, there was a waffle station, hot sausage gravy with biscuits, premade egg and cheese omelets, instant oatmeal, bagels and cream cheese, and a few other items I’m not recalling. We did not leave hungry. Would definitely recommend!

The room was beautiful. The cabin is very new and clean.. We enjoyed the pond and fishing.
A couple of things that would be helpful is first a list of the numbers to find the tv stations and second microwavable bowls and containers. The cabin has a beautiful microwave with no microwavable bowls.

We stayed in room number 1 at the carriage house.
We thought this was going to be a great stay After looking at pictures of the rooms on expedia.
When we got there the room was not in the pictures we seen on Expedia. (Misleading)
It was a tiny little place in the middle of a lot of rooms and noise from upstairs and around us, where others were staying. You can hear talking, water running, toilet flushing, there TV.
We could hear everything all around us.
Waking up to the micro refrigerator turning on just laying in the corner on the floor. When the heat kicked on throughout the night it was very loud and keeps you from going back to sleep. Only 1 night stand and light on the right side of the bed. Nothing for the wife to charge her phone or have her own light or stand.
The porch lights out front and out back you could not shut off.
So the light coming through the curtains was all night long.
We got 2 hours of sleep at most to wake up and drive to the actual inn for breakfast because where we were staying was not at the inn.
There we found eggs with cheese and hash browns in ziplock bags in the refrigerator.
It said to heat them up in the microwave for 20 seconds, seriously? that’s not correct.

We never write reviews.
Hopefully after this your stay will be much better.

We enjoyed our stay at the Berlin Heritage Inn. The location was perfect, being centrally located to all the towns we wanted to visit and was next door to our favorite shops, Sheyiah Market stores. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast included some microwaveable eggs and sausage biscuits, plus fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, and hard boiled eggs. My friend tried the prepared omelet and was a little disappointed to find it filled with what looked like cheese whiz. But otherwise, the breakfast was fine and it was nice that they offered more than just continental with some variety.

Rooms nice and clean. Definitely quiet. We woke up kind of sore from sleeping in the Bed but it was acceptable. Centrally located to where a lot of shopping/restaurants in walking distance. Free breakfast. You can toast your own bagel or cook a fresh waffle in their waffle iron. They also have a selection of refrigerated items such as hard boiled eggs, packaged microwaveable breakfast foods, yogurt, etc. Free coffee 24/7 in the lobby.

The location was very nice and definitely within walking distance to the shops in town. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was good enough. And had a beautiful view and the commons area looking out at the countryside. A nice back porch to sit on with rocking chairs. We set up till about midnight playing cards in the commons area. There was a TV out there as well. Overall was a very pleasant stay and would recommend to friends

Our stay was nice. Wish I knew when booking online - that they specified that you had to climb 20 steps to get to the room. Also, hotel called right after I booked and asked if I had a pet? I said no! But it didn’t ask while booking. Also, was asked again when we got there do we have a pet? No ice machines in each building. Front desk provided a bag to put ice in. Would have been okay but no ice bucket in room.

Rooms was clean, house keeping only came if you filled out a slip if needing more towels, soap, tissues, TP. You then stick the items on the outside of your door. I was there for 2 days so there wasn't any need for items so i didn't need to request anything. The breakfast was very simple they had mostly items that you needed to microwave, they did pre made omelets and hash browns they told you how long to heat them up for, you could make your own waffles, they had sausage gravey in a crock pot. Yogurt, cereals and juices. The view from the gathering room was beautiful. They had shops within walking distance. Was very nice.

Upon check-in, we had to pay a damage deposit upfront, then we were told our reservation was not at the current building but 1 mile down the road up 19 wet steps, carrying our luggage outdoors in the rain with no cover. Then if that wasn’t bad enough, we had to go travel back to the main building which again was 1 mile to get any ice or beverages or our breakfast in the morning. There was one plus. The room was clean. We are seniors and will NOT recommend or return.
