O atendimento da recepção excepcional, o quarto muito espaçoso e confortável, varias opções de restaurantes e até cinema no mesmo complexo. Acho que ideal para viajar com crianças. A única ressalva foi Café da manhã apesar de ter muitas opções, não era de qualidade, comi o ovo mexido com presunto que era o que realmente estava muito gostoso.

Esplendor is located in the Arena Maipu a casino leisure complex some half an hour from Mendoza. As such it is blessed with amenities but not in the heart of the city. Nonetheless location is good for wineries.

The hotel is well looked after and run by excellent attentive staff. It was a pleasure being there and we will certainly stay there again.

Excellent stay at Excellent hotel

I love the facilities both for leisure,fitness and dining options at this hotel. The onsite amenities are excellent. The staff and management are excellent. There is lots to do nearby and it is so easy to go to Maipu or to Mendoza and steep yourself in this wine region. The bedrooms are excellent the ones facing the mountains have awsome views. I would sugguest booking one of the larger rooms on offer as they are excellent value. Also treat yourself to a massage or one of the treatments on offer at the spa they are fantastic. Overall a great hotel with lots to offer I will be back

I stayed here for 2 days a week ago. I travel a lot and this hotel doesn’t have the amenities to be a 5 stars hotel, the personnel is not very efficient either.

A deep clean

Hotel is clearly understaffed, serious lack of cleaners room was the worst ever stayed in even after moving rooms from being next to the AC unit for the whole Casino. VIP suite only room to stay in but suite and hotel seriously needs a deep clean. Great location for wine region, casino was fine but needs a scrub and updating asap.

Stayed a few days to enjoy pools and relax and use the casino. Outdoor pool is nice but freezing cold as not heated. General standard of cleaning is poor. Curtains in room not wide enough to cover windows so had a neon light in my room all night. Mixed helpfulness of staff, some nice others arrogant and unhelpful.

Great hotel, nice decoration and clean and spacious rooms. very comfortable. Check-in staff super friendly. Delicious and varied breakfast. The parking is included in the lower floor, makes it very easy to access the hotel. The air conditioning in the room made noises, not loud but annoying. A little further from the city centre.

Ok hotel that looks nice but is lacking in some areas. Room smelt of smoke. Reception did offer to switch our rooms but the other one wasn’t much better.

Bed was comfy and can’t complain about the amenities.

Was very underwhelmed by breakfast: just a limited amount of meats, cheese and bread with some standard teas, juices, fruits and cereal. Nothing cooked and nothing particularly tempting.

We had a free drink as part of our stay but as the hotel didn’t have a bar we were just told to get something from the Luke warm minibar.

It’s ok, but underwhelming.

Another great stay

Another great stay we love the swimming pools (both) and the spa team are excellent. Our room was spacious and the view stunning. We love the location for visiting Mendoza City and Maipo. There are parks around for walking and exercise. There are Cinemas,supermarkets.and restraunts and a casino in the complex. The service and the staff are outstanding in the hotel. I had two massages at the spa wonderful. This hotel suits all our needs we will be back.

Going downhill

Front desk staff is great, but the rooms are a bit rundown. Drapes were falling off curtain tracks in my room, and my friend was in a suite with no sofa in the living room (just a coffee table and two ottomans). Breakfast is not as good as it once was...they no longer serve hot options like bacon and eggs.

Great Value+ treats from Hotels.com

The hotel is not central to either Mendoza or Maipu but it is on the bus route to both and the busses are really easy to use. The hotel is very modern the thing we loved is it had both an outdoor and fantastic indoor swimming pool with Sauna etc. I Had two spa treatments at the spa excellent and fantastic value. We were upgraded and given a fruit basket and a nice bottle of wine as we were silver members with Hotels.com who were running a special promo at this property (fantastic). The room we were upgraded to had views of the mountains the view was spectacular. The rooms were spacious but lacked good seating. The breakfast was fine. There were three dining options at the hotel we used two Moztasa and the pizza rest. great value and tasty.All in all a great stay.

The area were the hotel is located is kind of away from the downtown area, and there’s no much to do besides the couple restaurants, movie theater and casino located within the bueilding. If you are looking to go to wineries this is your perfect location, is closer to the wineries and easier to get.

The rooms are modern but somewhat cheap. The bed was not done one of the nights in our room and towels were not replaced in our kids’ room. When we told the front desk the reaction was not to apologize but to argue that their records showed the room and towels were done. Truly odd. Overall not too pleased.

The lobby and surrounding areas are nice. Had a bad experience in their Peruvian Restaurant. The restaurant was empty at 8:30 PM, they brought me the menu and never heard from them back ever, even after waiting 40 minutes. Not even water. Maybe that's why is usually empty. The other restaurants close to the lobby like Churrasquito is a good bet. Maybe go to Mendoza town for better restaurants. Breakfast is ok, but not that good. I think the location is good, but maybe is better to stay in Mendoza town.

Casino hotel near wine areas of Mendoza

Modern hotel large room, very comfortable good bathroom, need a vehicle free parking, well positioned to visit vineyards, outside Mendoza city. Sited in a complex containing a sports arena, casino, cinema, a restaurant, pizza cafe and coffee bar, little local character but very convenient.

Neighborhood Noise Intolerable

Really a pity. Gorgeous hotel, super-nice people, delicious food, great service. And, across the boulevard from them is an area where the local youth likes to congregate in their cars with huge stereos and blast music at top volume from 11:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Boom, boom, boom -- all night long! Completely intolerable. The folks at the desk called the police who cleared the group out -- and then they were back at it an hour later. This happened a couple of times, so the hotel seems to have no control over the situation. I suppose it could be a little less bad if one were at the other end of the building and with a view of not much; but in our suite with a fabulous view of the Andes mountain range, one simply couldn't sleep. Again, really a pity, since we loved everything else about the place, including it's proximal location to the city of Mendoza and the wine regions of Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo (and about an hour from the Valle de Uco). I hope they work with the local authorities to solve their problem...

It's in between Mendoza city and the wine growing areas, but not much within walking distance.
The hotel is new and well appointed. Customer service is average, but mostly helpful.
The breakfast was quite varied if not awesome quality.

Don't stay on a weekend!

Hotel was fairly nice, however, unless you're into the late night club scene, you're be hearing the thumping music of club jagger from 2:00- 6:00 AM on Fri and Sat nights! Unless you're in the club, you won't sleep. As far as location goes, you're fairly close to Maipu bodegas, but not worth it if you plan on sleeping during the night hours on weekends.

Perfect location to explore the wineries!

The Esplendor Mendoza has a a great central location for visiting the wineries of Mendoza. The pool and spa area are wonderful and made the end of each day relaxing although they close early when dinner service starts in the restaurants. The surrounding area lacks options for restaurants so we ate at the attached restaurants many nights. La Lucia was fantastic, the other restaurants were nothing special. Housekeeping was adequate but not perfect, our room was cleaned and bed made but glasses were not always washed or bath towels not always replaced. The shower was beautiful but lacked functionality, leaving the bathroom floor drenched most days. The hotel does not have a concierge so be prepared to make reservations on your own. The hotel can become loud if there is a concert at the attached arena or when the club is open on weekend nights, otherwise it was very quiet. Overall the few items that brought down our stay were able to be overlooked and I would stay at the Esplendor again.

We loved our stay in Mendoza and this hotel. For 2 Australians with limited Spanish, the staff were amazing and did everything they could to accommodate our requests. The only downside is that it is about a 15 min cab ride out of the city and there isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel. It does have a great pool and the breakfast is good.

What an excellent complex. It has within the \"Arena\" a fine dining Rest, the best Pizza Rest, a beautiful Coffee Shop & a Shopping Mart. The outdoor pool is clean & Relaxing as well as the indoor facility pool,sauna,exercise room. All newly built in 2011. Close walk to Maipu town & taxi ride to Winery & Vineyard area. A Travel Office in the lobby & of course the Casino with late night food available-everything reasonably priced for the high Quality.

Great hotel, great value, excellant rooms, well kept and very helpful staff. But do note, its a bit south of Mendoza proper and you really need a car. But if you will be intersted in Maipu, the wineries and restaurants, its a fine place to stay.....caveat, its had to find but its in the casino complex.

Modern, spacious and comfortable room. Hotel has good facilities (e.g. nice pool and Spa).
Staff at the reception and especially Concierge counter are very helpful.
The restaurant we ate in (Full House) was very disappointing experience (dirty cutlery, poor service offered, food really bad).
The area surrounding the hotel is not really nice (nothing around) but the place is conveniently located if you are after the wine tastings).

Modern hotel with a good sense of design, but it let's itself down in 3 ways:
- inconveniently far away from mendoza (30 mins)
- niggling litle defects throughout: smelly pipes, low pressure taps, no towels at pool
- poor service

It feels like a business hotel for conference-goers.

Very nice hotel

Overall, very pleasant. The hotel is new and therefore very clean. The staff also were very helpful.
Two points of interest however:
Expedia says the location is rural, but actually it is right in the town of Maipu. The hotel is also within the Maipu Arena complex, which is a casino/stadium development, something not mentioned at all on Expedia and made it a little difficult to find as the word 'Esplendor' is not identified until you are inside the complex.
Secondly, being very new, there are some teething issues. These will be ironed out I expect.
Overall, this hotel is recommended for a stay in the area.

Great fun, very new hotel, and very comfortable. Not necessarily perfect for a romantic winelands experience, what with the attached casino and sports arena, but a nice hotel and very easy to get around the region by taxi / wine tour. Staff were very helpful.

I write this review after staying at the hotel in the first months of use. The hotel is great, has a nice indoor pool, outdoor pool, big gym and comfortable bedrooms. The cons we observed had been related with the servicr which can be understood as it is in its first months of operations. Need of more pillows, bath rope, more variety of breakfast or international plugs are in the TO DO list for the hotel. The location was a bit far from MEndoza but very near the vinyards, not very nice area but comfortable if driving your own car. If we ever go back to Mendoza I would repeat.

No todo lo que brilla es oro.

El hotel es muy lindo, el servicio carece de calidad, no hay batas y pantuflas para su uso, ofrecieron degustación de vinos y tragos de cortesía, los cuales no se pudieron usar porque estaba cerrado.
Me cobraron el IVA por un valor $ 57.700 y me dieron una factura del cual solo $ 10.014 es IVA, el monto restante se lo queda el hotel y no lo aporta a la AFIP:
No volvería.

Hotel com boa estrutura, quartos e lençóis bons. Apenas os travesseiros precisam ser renovados. Café da manhã abaixo do esperado para o padrão do hotel. Pão industrializado, frutas inteiras, pouca variedade. Não havia possibilidade de omeletes ou sanduíche por exemplo. Mesa não era posta. O Hóspede tem que pegar tudo no buffet. Denota falta de cuidado e carinho da gerência.

Mendoza é repleta de boas surpresas.

Na chegada, tivemos um probleminha para achar o Hotel, pois em nenhum lugar da fachada ou dentro do saguão exibe seu nome. Achei isso estranho para um Hotel com uma excelente infraestrutura e renome.
Fomos bem recebidos e achamos o quarto adequado ao nível do hotel. Como a iluminação do quarto é indireta só pudemos constatar a sujeira com a incidência do sol na manhã seguinte. Reportamos o fato à recepção e o problema da poeira foi resolvido.
A área da piscina é muito boa! O SPA também é muito bom. O café da manhã é bom, embora não varie o cardápio. Resumindo, o hotel é muito bom e Mendoza é uma beleza!

O hotel já foi bom, agora está sem piscina interna, a sauna a vapor está em manutenção uns 5 anos.

Café da manhã muito muito simples para estrutura do hotel que faz parte de uma grande rede.
Cama do quarto de casal sofrível, colchão velho e com buraco entre o espaço do casal.
Localização boa para visita às bodegas.

Ótimo hotel em uma região Tranquila

Ótimo hotel em uma região tranquila da cidade, próximo a alguma viniculas. Boas estruturas e recursos, inserido em um centro com cassino e restaurantes.
Único ponto negativo fica por conta do café da manhã, que acaba sendo fraco para aguentar até a hora do almoço.

No recomiendo la atención de la recepción

Nada aceptable la limpieza, la atención del personal, excepto el Guardavidas y las chicas de desyuno que fueron muy amables.
No me hicieron bien la factura, la reclamé y me tuvieron 1 hora en el mostrador hasta que me dieron la respuesta y la factura.

Excelente resort! Un poco alejado de la ciudad de Mendoza, pero cerca de los puntos turísticos de interés como los viñedos. Volvería!

Cómodo pero mal servicio

En relación a la habitación , el armario contaba con manijas de cartón , para el nivel de hotel , no es aceptable. No posee restaurantes propios , para solicitar comida no nos pudimos comunicar en ningún momento con los números informados, como tampoco con el front desk.
Personal poco amable.

El hotel está bien

El hotel está bien, pero si ocupa el internet como parte fundamental de su viaje no es muy recomendable este hotel, el internet se cae muy a menudo y hace muy difícil trabajar. Por otro lado las camas queen están formadas por dos colchones, lo cual resulta incómodo. Cómo dato positivo el personal es súper amable y el hotel está muy bien ubicado si desea visitar las bodegas en el Valle de Maipú.

Muy buena opción en Maipu, Mendoza

El Hotel esta muy bien ubicado, cerca del acceso este en Maipu, tiene restaurantes internos tipo patio de comidas, que te sacan de apuro y son muy buenos. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas las camas y almohadas, el baño tiene una griferia un tanto antigua, pero todo funciona bien.
La atención del personal es excelente, asi como la piscina, el gym y el sauna.
La relación calidad - precio es buena.
Lo peor, la señal de wifi es muy mala
Igual lo recomiendo

Limpeza do quarto satisfatória, por ficar dentro da Arena Maipo sua localização se torna meio complicada e não tem indicação, café da manhã bom, porem o de Assunção da mesma rede é bem melhor.
Mas gostei e voltaria.

Problemas de seguridad y privacidad

El hotel le dió llaves de mi habitación a una pareja, los cuales entraron cuando yo estaba descansando. Jamás me había suceido algo así en ningún Hotel.
Deja mucho que desear la seguridad y privacidad en este Hotel.
