The hotel was lovely and the staff very polite and helpful. The buildings need some updating. Breakfast buffet was wonderful however it would help if bacon and eggs were included.... for people who cannot eat spicy food. We will certainly be staying here again.

The staff were extremely helpful. The food was absolutely excellent. We made full use of the free shuttle bus to nearby places. Our only criticism was that the pool was rather over chlorinated although it didn't put us off using it.

This is my second visit to Angels and I hope not my last.

Recent stay

The staff are friendly and hardworking, attentive and ready to assist. The place is kept clean and tidy. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels and bottled water. The breakfast table has fresh fruit bread and Indian dishes, they are happy to cook eggs for you if you order. The shuttle service to the beach and city is a bonus and used by the guests. Their taxi rates are competitive. This was my 7th stay at Angels.

Lovely hotel with lots of trees and foliage

Spacious bedroom with excellent air conditioning. Very clean and the service was excellent. The pool was very pleasant with a shaded area which was lit up beautifully at night. The food was ok, but we found nicer food at the local restaurants. The shuttle service was very good ( except for the taxi strike! Not their fault). The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite.

Great Resort away from the Beach

Location: About 20 minutes drive by bike from Calangute, Baga, Candolim beaches and around 30 minutes from Vagator and Chapora Fort. Businesses, shops and amenities available very closeby.
Resort: Wide open spaces with cottage like buildings consisting of two rooms on each floor upto two floors each. Very comfortable. Restaurant available with good food. The pool was awesome!! Loved it. Visited it 3 times during our 3 night stay.
Facilities: Clean and very spacious room, very nice bathroom, cable TV, AC, coffee/tea in the room with balcony overlooking one end of the pool, games room featuring carrom and table tennis. A decent gym and fitness center with basic stuff.
Overall: Great place for families and couples. Recommend renting a bike to travel to the places to visit - becomes very convenient.

Great for an Indian Hotel

The hotel was a good deal for the price. The staff members were all friendly and competent. The room was clean and well stocked with everything needed for our stay. The pool was clean and the on-site restaurant served really good Indian cuisine. Overall, our stay was quite comfortable and convenient.

Hi it's good experience over here.. I recommend friends to go n stay n enjoy in angels. Breakfast can be improved by changing the menu everyday. Pls don't try taking liquor here they charge exorbitantly. Over all it's a nice place to stay.

Angels is a nicely equipped Resort with a clean swimming Pool. The apartments although quite old are large and comfortable. The meals I had were all good and there was quite a good choice for bfast. You will need transport for the beach or Panaji.

My delightful experience... :)

I would say it was a pleasant stay. The property was neat and maintained very well. The alcohol and food was priced 50% less than what was available outside. I can assure you, the service rendered by these guys was beyond expectation. The room prices were very affordable when compared to other properties. The property is located at 7 to 10kms from all major attractions. This gives you enough time for a peaceful long drive. I will certainly recommend my friends to choose this property.

This was second time I stayed in the resort with family. There is nothing to complain. The resort is neat ,clean and well maintained. The entire staff is great in taking care of all guests. A very good experience staying at Angel's Resort - a nice quiet family holiday resort. Most guests were Indians and the staff speak good English. Bathrooms are clean and rooms have A/C - a must if you are visiting in December as we did. The resort is very well kept and there were Christmas decorations when we arrived and coming from London, we thought was a nice touch since Christmas didn't seem to be a major events in other Indian cities we visited.

Nice quiet budget hotel

We were give 2 poolside rooms. The rooms were clean with good housekeeping facilities. while we used the pool only once, it was decent sized and the water was clean. The hotel restaurant was not very fancy but the food was well prepared and tasty. The hotel also arranged sight seeing and river cruise passes. Overall we had very positive experience.

The resort is just wow. I got entire duplex villa being 3 families. It was well maintained, looking newly constructed. The environment inside was lush green with number of scenic villas. Great room service. Got AC room, 2 bisleri bottles daily, good night repellent , nice interiors, white clean bedsheets and towels.

Restaurant with complementary breakfast was awesome. We had dinner all 5 days there only and on our request it was made non-spicy. For toddlers, they boiled milk packets bought by us daily and prepared khichadi in our small pressure cooker. Very cooperative staff.

Great Resort in Great Budget

If you're looking for a soothing stay with easy on pockets budget this is the place to go for. The food is amazing, the rates are better than what we get here in Pune in the same level restaurants. The rooms are decent and equipped with AC, TV etc. Only draw back is the hot water supply is erratic which can be a pain if you're under the shower after a long day at the beach.... Beautiful set up and double thumbs up if you're looking for a resort in the budget

I had a good stay in this hotel, however one issue which I have faced is during check in hotel management charged extra amount for kids. As per my booking, I was under the impression that I have to pay for only extra bed but they have charged for both my kids instead of extra beds, which was not mentioned clearly in Expedia Web site while I booked the room.

Pleasant Stay at angel's.

Angel's Resort offered us just the right mix of location, comfort and cozy rooms , calm and quiet environment and yet its not far away from the city. They offered free coaches to Panjim City and Calangute Beach. Surprisingly the coach took me there even when I was the only passenger waiting for it. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Breakfast fare though can show some improvement. Overall it was a pleasant experience to stay at Angel's Resort, Porvorim. Thanks Hotels.com

My wife and I, enjoyed our 10-day stay at the resort. We enjoyed the buffet at morning breakfast, and food selection choice from the restaurant for dinner. We were extremely pleased with the service, and room service, especially with towel arrangement on the bed, after the room has been cleaned.

The resort is ideally located between the two major cities - Mapuca and Panjim, and provides patrons, both on holiday and business, easy access.

Very nice hotel in a very peaceful environment.

We had a great fun staying in angels. Breakfast was good but addition of one more item will complete the buffet and that is sausages. Swimming pool, gym, and table tennis were good as expected. Overall for a budgeted hotel this will be a good choice.

i booked 1Standard room through Expedia and got a good deal,Stayed in the resort for 3 days 2 nights from may 8th to 11th may 2014, check in process as really easy i reached resort around 11:am and check in was done immediately need not wait till noon and all that hassle other resorts and hotel have. Amazing location very peaceful and calm no problem what so ever .Complimentary break fast was really good and no extra fee or any catch.I will definitely visit this resort again and again and recommended to all my friends and family members.

Very good budget hotel.

Great budget hotel near Panjim. Hotel has its own taxi services. Only regret they don't consider half day rates. Rates are equal to full day rates. Food available at reasonable rates in their restaurant. Hotel also arranges free shuttle service to Panjim and calangute beaches daily. Surroundings inside the hotel premises is clean and green. Good

We had booked standard room. initially we were given a room on the ground floor. It was quite small. We then moved to a room on the first floor. It was quite big and spacious and we liked it. Room service is good. Check in time is 12 noon and they don't allow checkin before that. Over all a decent place to stay in north goa.

resort is good, little away from beaches (at least 7 KM from nearest beach) but very near from Panjim city. staff was quick in response some time, lazy some some other time.

If you ask daily than only you can get free wifi facility. Other facility also can be enjoy you ask.

We were very happy with our stay at Angels Resort. All the staff were very helpful and met any request made with cheerfulness and a desire to help. The rooms and resort environment were clean and comfortable. The selection of food offered in the restaurant was both tasty and very good value. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was close to people / places we wanted to visit. It is not close to the beach but the free hotel shuttle bus service to the beach and Panjim was very useful. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend this to any of my friends.

It has been a memorable and wonderful experience stayinng in this hotel. Cleanliness is and the ambience of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel staff are very efficient and coperative. The driver of the shuttle service has been extremely cooperative.The swimming pool, GYM and the play room are also worth mentioning. .The food quality of the restaurant is quite good. In fact food offered is better than Navatara, which is opposite to the hotel.Overall, it is worth staying in this hotel rather than hifi hotels with 10-15 floors etc. over all the hotel isvey good for family stay.

We, 3 couples stayed in standard rooms in a single building. The room is just sufficient for a comfortable stay, although minute things like a good soap tray in bathrooms are missing. The room service was excellent .I asked for a blanket and it was delivered within in a fraction of a minute.

Comfortable stay in city center

We covered Delhi to Goa by Road driving through the western ghats..It was a tiring journey and i was praying throughout that the stay in Goa should be worth the tiring journey covered by road. My prayers were truly heard....the moment we entered angels resort all the tiredness was gone.. It is a clean and comfortable property with individual villas. Right in the city centre - close to panaji and calangute Beach with a great pool area , games room , own restaurant and good eating joints outside. We booked two rooms and to our surprise we got a hall attached as well. All the rooms were air-conditioned with comfortable rod iron furniture ( only the beds are little smaller in size.) the breakfast buffet was not lavish like five star properties however worth the money paid. We enjoyed our stay for five nights immensely. Truly felt like angel in angel resort.

Amazing Stay!

Hi..sharing my experience with you all..This was the very first trip after our marriage recently and we were all excited about this! So I made a choice of this resort by going though reviews on Expedia website. Angels resort is truly good as per what I felt in all aspects. What a tourist expects is a clean,hygiene,friendly,convenient and affordable stay and Angels resort has met it all! The breakfast was good too, no issues. The staff are really good and meet all expectations. thumbs up! This resort is located a little outside city area, making it quite peaceful, but is convenient for traveling to nearest prime locations-baga,calgunte,mapusa,panaji and Donna Paula. We hired a bike and it made it really easy to navigate and our best friend, \"Google Navigation\" made it even much easy for us. Trust me, we are non drinkers and pure vegetarians, but we enjoyed the most in Goa coz usually the mus-conception is only the other category of people enjoy the most, but I don't think so :) Its how we choose the locations, time, budget and overall, the fun we find in most of the things we do, coz the city is beautiful and is free from all hassles! We loved Goa and we are again planning to visit Goa soon, may be in next 3 months, since we covered almost all north of Goa, but yet to visit South regions! Expedia-hats off for a good deal for Angels Resort and Indigo Airlines too!-R & V-Bangalore!

Pleasant and quiet stay.

The resort is well maintained and spacious with adequate parking space. The rooms opted by us by were of the standard variety but no complaints though. Cleanliness was top notch and room service was prompt. But getting the kitchen to answer a 6 am call for bed tea was a trial in itself! The restaurant served up decent stuff. The buffet breakfast though is extremely limited in terms of a spread but adequate by way of taste. Bikes are available at reasonable rates for hire in case you wish to explore Goa. All in and all a good value for money stay.

Convenient Location

The hotel is located on Chogm Road Porvorim, which is in close proximity to the popular North Goa Beaches, The Commercial city of Mapusa as well as Panjim. getting to the hotel is almost congestion free from Traffic.
The rooms are also very spacious, But i think a lot more than required, it has a living area & a bedroom along with Attached Bathroom.
