Our flight was delayed so we had to checked in late. I just messaged their Facebook page to inform them of our case and they were very responsive and helpful. We were able to check in without hassle. Room service was also done everyday so we always go back to a clean room after touring the whole day. The location is also near the BTS Sanam Pao station and a convenience store. We had no trouble going to places since it’s very accessible and walking distance to the train station. We will definitely book here again if we go back to Bangkok.

Overall passable, walking distance to nearby bustling Ari, and smooth check in and check out with friendly receptionists. While the room looked clean, you can tell the building and systems is quite old, as there was a musky smell. I spotted small roaches in the toilet and room, but was only staying one night so didn’t pursue.

Seeing as how I was just here a little over a year ago, not much has changed. The bathroom seems to have gone through a slight renovation leaving little space for your legs while on the toilet. The linens may be getting to the point where they need replacing as well. They are probably working on it. The Bistro chairs could use a good cleaning or reupholstering as well. Staff members were polite and helpful as usual.

Stayed there for two nights after a horrible experience at the Elizabeth Hotel. The Vic is a lovely hotel with a modern updated feel. The staff were lovely and could even tell me how old the hotel was. After dropping me off at the airport, my girlfriend was upset returning to the Vic alone, and the staff were comforting and made her feel safe, to the point of thinking she needed a taxi and asked her four times if she did.
We will definitely be staying there again.

Stayed here couple of times already. Conveniently located - BTS station, Massage parlour, 7-11 just a minute walk away from the hotel. Not expensive for a nice hotel. Perfect place for a budget travellers who are looking to pay a little extra for a nicer place. Definitely the best choice for anyone who is not wanting to spend too much at a 5 star hotel. staffs are nice and helpful. Will come back again.

Great contemporary hotel with spacious bedrooms and lovely en suite walk in shower facility. However there was no place to hang clothes and the plug points were in a very awkward orientation and consequently I could not use my bulky global (fully integrated block) adaptor for charging my devices. It is less than 200 meters from a MTR sky rail station from where you can easily travel to places from where tourist buses start or old Bangkok. Breakfast is a good spread but with a strong Thai influence. There is a lady making fresh fried eggs and omelettes too. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel but take any plug except the bulky global adaptor as their room plug points can cope with multiple plug styles.

Very close to Sanam Pao BTS. I didn’t see much in terms of food and drink in the immediate area however both Victory Monument and Ari BTSs are only one stop away and there are plenty of options in those areas.

The reception staff are very professional and speak English well. They can organise taxis for you if you require.

The rooms and facilities are modern and clean. The hotel has a small fitness centre with brand-new equipment. The hotel also has a nice modern lap pool and small lounging area.

My only issue with the hotel was the room I stayed in was quite small, probably the smallest room I’ve stayed in in all of Thailand. The bathroom had a beautiful spacious shower but the toilet area is very cramped.

I had no issue with noise my entire stay, the room was very quiet.

Overall my experience here very good however.

The room rate is extremely low that I know I should not have any expectation. With such room rate, this is a reasonable hotel with a super convenient location. The only thing I dislike is their bed sheets and duvet cover that they looks pretty old with some stain. Hopefully the hotel can abandon to use those super old bedding and do some touch up work for the room.

The tissue box in the toilet really needs to improve, the tissues are less than half the tissue box while the tissue box is almost 6 inch tall and cannot take the tissue papers. The shower sprinkles are also very old and the water comes out unevenly.

If you want \"Friendly\", \"Fast\", \"Safe\" pick up service in Bangkok, ask for Mr. Tony (The head of the crew) in this hotel, he and his crew do willing to help you with professional manner.

Also I am a very picky person, but.. the chicken rice stand just outside the hotel, do providing street price with hotel 5 stars quality foods, do not trust me but you try.

Definitely tolerable for the price, especially if you're not planning on spending a lot of time there. Do know that there's construction going on next door and if you're a light sleeper you'll hear everything going on in the hall/rooms nearby.

Our room had hair from previous visitors on the floor as well, so not sure how clean the place is.

Also, note that the pool only gets sun early in the day until early afternoon.

I am in BKK this time to visit my mom at Phayathai 2 Hospital, which literally 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Plus only 5 minutes to get to Sanampao Skytrain Station. Very conveniently located. Room is small but not tiny. Clean and fresh. Overall, it is a perfect hotel if you are out and about all day in Bangkok, and need a small clean room to rest a t night.

Other than the price and the service of staff, theres nothing much to rave about this hotel.

So the good first, the price is ranged between $60-$70? Expedia doesn't provide the breakdown so can't really tell the exact price. The service of staff is quite thoughtful. Once alighting from the taxi, the staff will grab your bags, check whether any belongings left in the taxi and usher you to front desk. They really try their best to accommodate. I requested for a travel adapter and they provided a makeshift one. Whenever possible, they will make best of what is available. For example, my wife needed a bottle opener, there wasn't one in hotel and the staff taught her how to open the bottle without an opener.

Now the bad. I have to list it down because there's so much:
1) Corridor is not air conditioned,
2) No proper coffee and tea provided,
3) Fridge is not cold,
4) Shower head doesn't provide water consistently, probably choked,
5) Toilet roll is rough to touch,
6) Floor is not carpeted,
7) Bed is creaky,
8) Plugs are loose,
9) Television is small,
10) Side table is makeshift,
11) Lights are dim and difficult to control,
12) AIr conditioner is not cold.

Granted that it is a budget hotel and some of the points above are synonymous with a budgey hotel, but the proper maintenance should be carried out to ensure that things work properly. This hotel is run at a lean cost structure in my opinion. I would not return.

Good comfortable stay. Friendly reception and the location is great. Five minutes walk to the BTS Sanam Pau. After your trip shopping coming back to the hotel, from BTS Sanam Pau, take Exit 3. Walk down the stairs go straight and towards Soi 3, turn left and Vic3 Bangkok is there. Good wifi and breakfast is the standard buffet.

the location is excellent. about the stuff, some were really nice. the room is narrower than what i thought when i saw the pictures for the first time. When we go to the room, AC had little mold smell but after it worked for a while the smell disappeared. the fridge was very irritating, if we went out it would stop working which could spoil what we left inside, and when we came back to the hotel with the hope we would drink cold water and our food, what in the fridge are not cold at all my food even had dew on it.

Don't stay here if internet is important

This is a typical low end 3 star hotel in Bangkok - superficial cleaning (dirt in corners, around edges, etc), lack of maintenance, poor quality mattresses. Location is convenient to Sanan Pao BTS station so kudos there.
The biggest problem with this hotel is the wifi. The signal was so weak in the room, it would disconnect constantly, so effectively was unusable. If I went into the hall, I could stay connected. I contacted the staff. First person made excuses (shared connection), second person gave me a different username/password combination, which, of course, has nothing to do with signal strength.
When will hotels realize there are people who will never stay in a hotel if the wifi is not reliable. It seems management is trying to save a little bit of money but skimping with wifi.

This was our second stay at the Vic3. We like the location because of easy access to the BTS and expressway. It is also near a friend and relatives. The larger room we had this time was nice with a large corner window on an upper floor. The neighborhood would be better if it had more restaurants and better shops. This is not one of Bangkok's lively areas.
