House hunting trip

My husband and I were in town to house hunt. The location of the hotel is perfect for where we are looking to move .I have stayed at this location in the past and it is convenient. Everyone that works there is friendly and professional. The pool was in clean as was the breakfast area. We were there 4 nights and were comfortable in all ways.

The hotel was well-located, the room and bathroom were spacious and clean overall. The carpeted hallway was a bit musty. Breakfast staff was pleasant and efficient and food was good. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. Parking was plentiful. This hotel, however, feels overpriced and, therefore, not a good value.

Housekeeping Staff is the GREATEST seen in Hospitality by me.

The room was attended to daily - unlike MOST hotels who don’t attend the room until after departure from the hotel.

Will be back again next year!

We had a fairly large group (12 people). The lobby was small and the pool area was closed. We had to hang out in the parking lot. To be fair, they had a breakfast area that was in use by people dealing with the recent flooding. Evidently, we could have used that otherwise. Even so, they said it closes early (I believe it was 9 or 10 PM). Just be aware that unlike other options, there isn't a very large common area.

Flood water rescues

We live in a flood prone area and due to flooding conditions called for after dark we thought it would be safer to spend it away from home.

Everyone was friendly straight from the get go they helped with all my questions whether about my stay or the state itself the food was okay which I can understand why it’s supposed to be quick and easy and fit some peoples dietary restrictions and the one cook lady I apologize for forgetting her name she was so sweet and talked to us

Stayed while we were visiting local bourbon distilleries. Quick trip to Wild Turkey, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses and Woodford Reserve. Hotel is in a small town with a few fast food restaurants and Kroger and Walmart close by. Hotel was clean, and quiet. Staff were very friendly and free breakfast was good. Pool was nice. It’s also pet friendly for an extra $20 a night. I had no issues taking my small dog along.
