The building and room were full of modern yet historical character (restoration hardware vibes). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was a little awkward, but overall a great stay. Would confidently stay again. The connected restaurant and bar was delicious and wonderful experience.

Would be top rate except Wi-Fi was not available throughout my stay. The front desk person was aware and said it had been problematic recently.

Really, Wi-Fi is a basic function of the hotel. To not have it at all was a big downer for me about my stay.

Love the decor and feel of the hotel. Great location also in Frankfort.

The hotel itself is very pretty and has up to date details. The issue was some of the services which makes a stay very nice. For one thing, there was no coke machine or way to purchase drinks (or snacks) at all. The only drinks you could purchase was at the bar (which are higher priced) and can only be purchased during their limited hours (5-9 pm). In addition, there was no ice machines. You had to go to the first floor and ask the person to go and get the ice. Why?? Ice is usually a basic service. Also, since we were at hotel and on vacation, we do like to have our room cleaned (beds made etc..). For this service (which was provided), we were forced to have to ask the front desk person every day. Did not like this. At least they could have had a door sign you could hang on the doorknob.

On the plus side, this is the first hotel I have been at in many years that had both wonderful lighting (lighting for all kinds of needs) and also adequate plugs. We did not have to try to \"make-do\" with using extension cords (which we now always bring just in case). Loved that. Also, loved the decor. Very pretty place.

Our stay was very nice. The property is amazing, and the restoration is so unique. It was very nice to stay at your property, but every morning the cleaning staff was extremely loud while moving equipment and talking loudly cleaning the rooms and generally making a lot of noise, it was a little disruptive to our stay. The front desk help was phenomenal.

Great hotel! Loved the design and rooms and overall feel. Hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. And location was perfect for what we were doing which is traveling the area and whiskey touring! Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the train that went by each night at 3 am. It blared its horn so loud we woke up straight out of bed! And this was after drinking whiskey all day!!! lol. Our traveling partners were on the opposite side of the hotel and they could not hear the train one bit. Our room was the 3rd floor corner lot.

We also ate at the restaurant for brunch and dinner a couple of times. Very yummy and would definitely eat there again and I may when I come back in a few weeks. Lol

Love the hotel, the area and the staff. My only complaint was the walls are very thin & could hear the toddler screaming and Dad(assuming) yelling to stop but toddler wouldn’t for long time til finally fell asleep. Then in the morning could hear same people talking/laughing- woke me up. Other than that we loved this place.

Our room was clean and well appointed. Loved the decor. Nice shower, fluffy towels, comfy bed. The restaurant was nice as well. Good food great service. The negatives were the noise and the parking. We could actually hear every word from the couple above us. Their argument that woke us in the middle of the night and every time they used the restroom. You could hear everything!! The parking was on a lot kiddy corner to the property. It wouldn't have been bad except when you have to haul luggage up all those stairs...whew.If you stay here maybe ask for an upstairs room.

Heard every footstep upstairs and out in hall. Bathroom light was on motion sensor so all room was lit up when entered bathroom (even in middle of the night), elevator sounds like ready to break down (and heard it going up and down from our room (which was down the hall), spouse left to bring 1 bag to car, and room service came into room while I was in bathroom. The \"idea\" of renovated building to hotel seemed like good idea. NEEDS WORK!

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at, and it was not inexpensive. I felt like I was sleeping in a cellar. We booked months in advance and still got stuck on the ground floor, even though they were not full. The room was tiny, with the bathroom sink in the bedroom area. The bar was fairly nice. The restaurant was furnished like a cafeteria, even though it was expensive. On this trip, we stayed in four different hotels and this was by far the worst, even though two of our stays were half the price of this hotel. Find another hotel in Frankfort!

The bedspread was dusted with debris, hairs ect.
The staff was polite.
The tv internet went out our 1st morning there, i reported it but it was never fixed.
There was trash ( used q-tip) beside the inn table.

The Delegate is a unique travel experience.
I would look at it a a crossover from an Airbnb and a hotel. Far more personal than a hotel, but more relational than an Airbnb.
It brings together the best of both.
Having fine dining on the premises was a plus.
The bar staff was the best.
Clean and easy to get around.

The staff were very welcoming at all times and where at the ready when we needed something. It is a unique hotel, but that is what made it fun for us. Only reason I am knocking it down to a 4 is that our heating/cooling system sprang a leak on the last night and was dripping on the floor. Notified staff right away in the AM and they indicated they would be fixing it. It was our departure day so I do not know if that happened.

Such a beautiful building. The room was huge! Very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of plugs and outlets for an army. The included make up mirror was a nice surprise for the Mrs.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Was recommended The Brown Barrel restaurant, a short walk down the street, and it was very good.
Parking could be an issue but we got a nice spot on the street outside, otherwise you might have a little walk.

Clean rooms, staff was great, one negative is they need to have at least one vending machine and one Ice machine, on the main floor. Front desk would get you ice, but really this is a Flaw. Other than that, the place is really cool!!!

Very accomodating and friendly staff. Staff went above and beyond to help me and my wife get settled after a 15 hour drive. We were moving across country and had a lot of stuff to get off the car. The gentlemen taking care of the front desk at 5 am was more than helpful to help us .my wife and i will be back for sure

Perfect location for exploring The Bourbon Trail. Beautiful building and amazing restaurant on site. Top notch staff that was very knowledgable about the area. They provided some great inside tips for the local distilleries.

Staff onsite was excellent. However, i did call 3 times and no one answered. Parking was horrible. If you have small children or disabilities i wouldn't recommend. Housekeeping was very noisy, both in halls and other rooms. I could hear vacuuming several rooms away. Toilet paper was very thin and scratchy.
