There was an abandoned building in front of the hotel that looked super sketchy. While the staff member was nice, the place was old and run-down. The room was okay, however bedding looked used/dirty and not freshly washed. The pool water also looked nasty and not good to swim in. I was traveling alone with my two daughters and honestly we almost went somewhere else had the rooms not been inside a locked area that required a hotel key to enter.

Room itself was fine. Building and grounds were awful. Hotel is just behind an abandoned and boarded up restaurant. Only 1 of the 3 hotel buildings are in use. No breakfast available. Door to room would not close properly on its own.

Adequate budget motel. Clean bed and bathroom.
This is not the Hilton :)
We just stayed for one night before the Baton Rouge marathon. No regrets, I would gladly return.

Our initial room did not have functioning heating, we promptly got a new room. Lobby attendant was helpful and polite.

They appear ready for some serious remodeling, as there are piles of construction materials everywhere.

Room was neglected and so was rest of the hotel. Room heater did not work and exploded setting off the fire alarm. Only one attendant at the hotel and had to wait a long time for him to come up and move us to new room. Motel hallways reeked of marrijuana. Electronic key card was difficult to use with the sensors. Refrigerator in new room we were moved to didn’t work and had to be replaced when we moved into the room. Very stressful!!

Run down, very noisy air conditioner that kept us up most of the night. Lumpy bed, I’m not picky but it was the lumpiest bed I ever slept on. It was a cheap price, at least the sheets and towels were clean. A place for one night, it was okay but I didn’t realize red roof was getting so run down. Plus they used to offer breakfast. Coffee was available and it tasted pretty good.

Pulling up to the establishment, i absolutely did not recognize it. The photos did not portray what I was witnessing in person. The room was disturbing, filthy, and smelled of weed. The bed sheets and pillow cases were stained with mysterious brown spots, the blanket had cigarette burns, and to top it all off.. a dead cockroach was smeared along the wall. Legs still intact. When going to complain about this, I was cut off immediately. No communication. Just given a different room. Slightly less dirty, but equally run down as the last. The bed wasn’t even a full, but instead two twin beds shoved together. Disgusting.

The rooms were nasty and reeked of mildew. One of my rooms actually had mold present! Rooms online is completely different once you receive them! Front guy at desk was really nice and respectful despite horrible rooms! And kindly refunded out money! I didn’t stay, once we arrived and seen rooms my husband and I gathered the kids and left.

The hotel outer appearance needs to be improved. Its strange because the room I stayed in was very decent. If it wasnt for my cousin staying there I wouldnt have ever stayed there. There was also a cat living under the stairs. He had his own food and water bowl. That was not pleasant. I also tried to make reservations through the phone number listed on the company's website and it routes you to a third party company who charges double the rate online, claiming its taxes. There was also people talking loud throughout the hallway. Wasnt very quiet. The hotel lobby front entrance had a hole in the ceiling. The bathroom and room was cleaned. I did find a red spot on my bed sheet that may have been blood. I didnt sleep under that particular sheet.

The first thing you see is a run - down empty restaurant right next to the motel office. It was very concerning that the motel might be just as bad. The entrance to our hallway and the parking lot could use a good cleaning. Our bed was clean and comfortable, but the motel is very outdated. We would not stay there again.

Attn: Expedia, I respectfully request a full refund my family an I had to stay somewhere else. That Red Roof Inn, should be Condemned. I tried contacting Expedia but couldn’t find a phone number to contact the customer service department. Please email me Expedia Corporate number. That Red Roof Inn is infested with bugs, is filled with Black Mold, it has a bad smell and is unlivable. The picture on the site is nothing like what that property really looks like.
The first three pictures is what’s on the EXPEDIA website. The last three pictures is what the site truly looks like!

This hotel is located right bed to a condemned/closed restaurant where homeless people hangout. When walking in the hallway to the rooms the smell of marijuana was overpowering. It’s a very sketchy location as well. The front office staff was nice enough to ok a refund even though the reservation was non-refundable.

Not worth for what you pay.

\"under new management\"? and it looks like they are doing some renovations. Dusting the room was for cosmetics only. Walls had dirt on them by the closet. Caulking around the bath tub was a total mess, problably done in five seconds. Toilet was installed at an angle, while sitting on the seat you could lean on the sink counter. If you want a place to just sleep, it was Ok. but I wouldn't recommend staying there doing the day.

The lobby smelled like pee. The hallways smelled horrible. I had a hard time getting the keys to work. The parking lot needs a major redo. There looked to be mold in the room, it had lots of dirt build up in certain areas and several stains. Definitely not what was posted online. The first time I stayed even though 3 years ago. To return this time and it looked like the H&D Motel.
Walls dirty that could have easily been wiped clean. Housekeeping in pajamas. Little cosmetics that are easy fix. Parking lot has more holes than Swiss cheese. Sorry didn’t take pictures. Was to pissed to bother.

Generally, Red Roof Inns are decent. Not fancy. This one was not decent. Mildew on the ceiling and walls of the bathroom as well as the vent. The AC vents were filthy. There was a hole in the corner that faced the outside wall. Such potential but it seems no one cares much. I won’t stay there again.

I got a room for almost a week and only stayed one night barely. I got a nonsmoking room and it smelled like a lot lizard had a party in it. The smoke smell was so embedded into everything that I had to wrap my pillow with my jacket and still didn’t help. The towels smelled like cigarettes, between the mattress and headboard was a ton of trash and hair, stains on the walls that I don’t what it was and didn’t want to find out, bathroom was disgusting with obvious mold around tub, roaches crawling around, and so many other things. When I checked out I went to grab my stuff and get my refund. He gave me the other nights but not for that day because I was a COUPLE minutes after checkout. Location is extremely disgusting and doesn’t look safe with the old busted building next to it, potholes, and the cigarette smell is still strong before you enter the building for the rooms. A lot of work needs to be done here. Will not be going back at all

The hotel was smell very bad. I checked out the room and it smelled like the hotel. I asked Expedia to refund my money and they can’t even do it for me. They said it depends on the hotel manager which I believe it’s a joke. Four days passed I haven’t heard back from Expedia or the hotel at all. I won’t use Expedia again to book my hotel since no way to contact them and it took a hundred tries to able to reach them by text only. Expedia customer service was not there when you need them. This was the second time I encountered with them about hotel quality. BTW…do not book any hotel that owned by India people like anything starting with the RED word like red roof, red lion and now I noticed America Best as well. Their hotels were super bad especially the smell. Stay away from it. I will try Expedia again on my refund and let you all know the outcome of it.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. We saw MULTIPLE roaches in our bathroom and there are toenail clippings around the bed. This room did not come anywhere near meeting our expectations. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here.

The parking lot is pot hole central, the hallways smelleld like mold, no breakfast u less you made your own coffee, the room was horrible. There was plaster falling off the ceiling into the ac vent, the bathroom door was torn up from someone locking up an animal and it wanting out, there was mold on the wall, nothing smelled fresh or clean, there were stains on the bathroom tile from a trash can that no longer existed and a few of the sockets didnt work. Im glad we only booked 1 night

Decent for the price ($60)

First floor hallway had old mildew smell. Second floor hallway was much better but the AC air smelled like mildew. Carpet wasn’t clean, chairs weren’t clean, bath tub felt gritty. Bed was relatively clean and comfortable, which was a plus. Service wasn’t friendly or unfriendly, it was concise. I have no complaints on that.
