We received a warm welcome upon arrival.we arrived at 12:15pm so we were early and not able to access our room which is not the resorts fault.

However there was no area to change and temporary storage or changing area so my grandsons could swim and the restaurants didn't open until 1pm.

The staff in the restaurants continuesly mixed up our food orders, they brought adult meals before the children and were argumentative when mentioned the service errors.

Lastly, the quality of the food was extremely substandard especially for a resort of this caliber and the prices charged

We enjoyed the room and the pool, however I would encourage travelers to consider other rrsorts in the arra for a better overall experience.

Loved our stay in this hotel. The staff are very friendly and nice. The hotel provides different kind of services and it was very easy to communicate with them and plan some of our activities there.
The room was spacious, clean and has all the amenities needed. Great place for adults and kids with two pools and a bar facing the ocean.
I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing stay with a 5 star service

Hotel Paracas delivers on every front — and then some. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home run for hospitality. The property is stunning, with elegant design, lush grounds, and a serene coastal setting that makes you instantly unwind. Our room was immaculate and beautifully appointed, with incredibly comfortable beds, great amenities, and everything you’d want for a perfect stay.

The on-site restaurant is a standout — so much so that we ate there more than once. And here’s the big claim: it wins our “Best Ceviche” award after two months of eating our way through Peru. Fresh, vibrant, and absolutely unforgettable. The only small drawback was that service in the restaurant could occasionally be a bit slow, but the quality of the food and the setting more than made up for it.

We only stayed for one night, we wish we could have stayed longer. We did have massages in the spa and they were excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. We at are at the trattoria and the seafood restaurant on the water and both were fresh tasting and with excellent service. All staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a very relaxing place to stay and we were met with lots of kindness. Some exceptional staff members were Julio, Julio Cesar, Anderson, Jonathan and Ykiku, but really everyone was lovely and welcoming. It was very easy to book excursions through them (we booked the boat tour to Ballestas Island through WhatsApp). I recommend booking some services as the spa, especially if you appreciate a good massage. I did not explore outside of the resort, except for a walk along the bay through a residential area. On the drive in, the main town seemed to hectic for what I wanted to experience. This is not specific to the hotel, but I made the mistake of driving myself from Lima. The drive wasn't safe. I would find another way to get there, maybe through a tourist service.

….A few years ago there were very nice toiletries in the bathrooms , now just minimum ..
Food prices are inflated for Peruvian standards ..
1 bottle of water 16 soles is extremely high .
Same as all alcoholic beverages inflated to Miami Beach prices.. ….
tip : get your soda water at a local store for 2 soles .. even cabana use by the pool is $65 per day …

Honestly I’ve been to a lot of resorts around the world and Hotel Paracas has to be one of my personal favorites. The close attention they pay to their guest should be studied! The friendliness of the staff is a great bonus to the experience of the resort itself. Also breakfast buffet has a great selection that’s hard to nitpick about, everything is there that you’ll need to start your morning. The grounds of the hotel was well kept continuously as well. It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Paracas Luxury it’s one of those resort that I’ll be booking again!

Brenda cleaned and organized our room so well it looked just as we found it at check in. They were varnishing some of the vacant room patio covers, cleaned the walkways and were maintaining the landscaped areas. I can't remember feeling more relaxed when sitting out on the patio or swimming in the heated pool. The sunsets over the Reserva Nacional de Paracas reminded me of Maui. Everyone at the front desk, concierge & security guards at all entry points were extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet is top quality and should be enjoyed. This was one of the best experiences at a hotel that we've had.

La cena en el restaurante principal dejó muchísimo que desear y a unos precios que no tienen consecuencia con la calidad de la comida. La carta de vinos es pequeña y con una lista muy limitada y extremadamente cara.
En la noche probé una pizza. Una de las peores que he comido en mi vida y a S/. 65 soles!!!! Si quieren mantener esos precios, la calidad debe subir sustancialmente.

This is probably the best hotel in Paracas and I would love to come back.
It is beautiful property, good spa and massage, really nice bar and restaurant on the territory of the hotel, the views are breathtaking, we really enjoyed watching sunset.
Also it was really cold in our room and only after a few conversations and one angry talk on the phone, the technician came. Apparently, he had to do something outside the room to make the air conditioner work in a heating regime. Even though that we had to put some effort good thing is that it was taken care of and fixed.

I loke the resort and amenities...i did not like that i was the only one that not got my room early...i make all reservation for everyone and all rooms wer ready 3 hours beforw mine.....did not got a call for it ....and after getting my keys. They completely forgot that i needed a roll away bed for my child....they stated that room wasn't ready because the extra bed but was not the true.

The resort itself is amazing. The property is very beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens and the restaurant, bar and rooms are well appointed and very clean. The food and drinks are on the expensive side but very good and the breakfast buffet was amazing.
Staff at the restaurants and pool/bar were beyond friendly and amazing. Loved them!
The gentleman at check-in though did not provide much of a warm welcome. We had just driven from
Lima and had an encounter with corrupt cops on the way there, so arrived to the resort a bit shaken up, and the person checking us in went straight into fees and costs without even asking asking us how we were doing, how were our travels etc.. not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Otherwise everything was great.

4 Star Resort - Needs some Marriott training

Beautiful poolside views, ocean a bit of a stink in the bay with no beach. Overall a very good property but I do not find it 5 star based on other countries standards. Pool bar closed 45 minutes before sunset on a clear day when vacationers were enjoying poolside drinks. I questioned this and it is based on their schedule, so apparently I can fly half a day, drive half a day and spend $350 USD on a room and cannot have a sunset drink at the pool because of their schedule where labor is not that expensive. It is obvious it irked me as 5 star resorts do not do things like that, they do not make the customers work on their holidays especially those that are eager to part with their money.

Amazing time! Even thought, there was abnormal waves warning and we couldn't explore the Ballestas Islands, our time at the hotel was incredible. Everyone was super nice, helpful and polite. The pools could be a tiny bit less warm but I don't know if they can control that because the sun was blazing down on us.
Shout out to the maintenance team who help me recover my ring that i almost lose beneath the pool planks. Thank you so much Wilfredo Galindo and Jorge Castilla!
If you can stay here, do it!!

The old hotel has been remodeled after having been destructed in a earthquake, but kept some of its charm. Nice pools (terrible loud music in one of them), ok restaurants (pizza not so good). Great sightseeing nearby.
Some jewelry disappeared from our room, which then reappeared in laundry basket and was sent to us in Lima, a bit of an awkward situation. Nothing is perfect, but a would say our experience was mostly positive. I liked that there were all kinds of guests, but mostly Peruvians at the hotel.

My best option when I need to work and relax, but need to do it away from the big city.
Very comfortable rooms, fully equipped with amenities: good internet, desk etc. Nice pools, great bar, good choice of meal options in three restaurants. Very good service but a tad expensive unless you have some special discount or travel on expense account or live in US standards!
Best in weekdays, can get crowded on weekends.

Hotel Paracas has the most attentive, friendly and competent staff I have ever encountered. They literally jump to help you. Great bungalows and great views. My only possible complaint is the staggering prices in the restaurant and bars. There was no coffee maker in the room and when I asked for coffee from room service, it was $11!!! The menu in the restaurant is limited and the food prices are literally double what they should be. But the property is extremely well-run and the staff is organized and extremely efficient.

This is about as luxurious as a paracas resort can get. Paracas is mostly a backpacker and hostel town. Upon checkin we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely—Two bathrooms and a furnished porch with an ocean view. Food excellent. Staff is great with guests who don’t speak Spanish well. Two pools. I wouldn’t swim off the beach there. The jellyfish are literally 2 feet in diameter with tentacles twice that. Gross. The other challenge the resort has is the smell that wafts in and out from decomposing seaweed off a section of the beach nearby. Not all the time but when it hits you know it. Food excellent. It’s the nicest resort you will find in Paracas. Price is half of what you’d pay for the equivalent in the United States.

Pro: great staff, beautiful resort, good service and very good food. Generally a top location to stay, our third visit here.
Con: Depending on wind direction, it can be very smelly at the resort. The coast line has rotting material that excretes a rotten egg odor. Especially prevalent close to the coast, and at the pier-restaurant where they serve delicious ceviches (as I know from the past two times). This time we could not enjoy this due to the stench, and food at the main restaurant may be enjoyed better inside rather than their beautiful outside dining area, due to the odor.
Since we did not experience this bad odor the last two times, I wonder what the management can do about the coast line clean-up to make the outdoors more pleasant.
One last improvement topic: The wooden planks on each side of the main pool area are loose and uneven. This is a trip hazard.
