From the moment my wife and I arrived it was like coming home to family. From the warm greetings from Anna and Tomasso we were led to our suite that was nestled amongst the natural preserve of trees native to Sardinia. The courtyard was tranquil and cozy and felt more like a community than a hotel.
Our choice to purchase the half board was a great decision as both our breakfast and dinner were included in our stay. There we were greeted by the one and only Pietro and his wonderful staff and our waitress Cristina was a joy. Afterwards we had drinks outside and we were entertained by the beautiful voices of Marta and Alessia whose talent is nothing short of Broadway performances. Overall a spectacular experience!

Great stay but bring your own water !

Service was great, its a gorgeous jotel in a great location with a private beach. Surrounded by mountains it is really beautiful.

The bed was a tad uncomfortable and the fridge in the room didnt keep anything remotely cold.

We were told the 2 bottles of water in the fridge were complimentary but upon checkout we were charged 8€ per day, sadly I only checked the receipt after leaving the resort. Very disappointed that we paid an extra for those small bottles of water.

Rooms are ok, but basic and in need of a refurb, our shower door came off twice.

Some of the staff were helpful others were a little rude.

Dinner menu was repetitive and not impressive, we had to go elsewhere for authentic food.

They do not provide iron's and you have to pay for an ironing service so unless you want to look like a crumpled mess pack a travel iron.

My partner and I just spent a fantastic 10 days at this wonderful place. The staff throughout the hotel were so kind and helpful, the facilities were everything you could ask for and the food/wine in the restaurant was absolutely amazing. We loved sitting by the pool and going to the private beach during the day and it was a pleasure to sit outside the bar in the evening watching the sun go down on that beautiful view. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to relax and unwind in a truly gorgeous setting (and the Spa). Thank you to everyone at Hotel Corte Rosada for making it so wonderful ❤️

Don’t be fulled by a 4 star status

This hotel is based in a nice secluded location but is very basic. Rooms are tired and tiny.
Breakfast finishes at 10am which is ridiculous and they start cleaning it and removing food at 9.30-9.40am already. One day staff approached me at 9.55am to advise that breakfast is finished and i should be get going! Overall it feels that I am there interrupting their work rather than staff is here to help a resting guest. They constantly move chair and tables , its so loud in that room, very unpleasant, too many staff people walking and talking for no practical reason, I was watching them every day trying to understand why are they there. Breakfast is limited to 2 choices of eggs, 2 choices cheese and ham and tomatoes and cucumbers. Few pasties and fruits. Thats it. Lunch is served until 2.30pm and again staff abruptly told me “kitchen is closed” at 2.20pm refusing to take my order. Very few people speak english.
I called to the reception Asking for some simple amenities that room was missing, they told me to come to reception to pick this up….
Somehow there a lot of mosquitos and nothing in the room to protect you from it, I

Leaving with 35 bites on my body, yes I counted.
Beach is tiny and water is not deep so you need to drive to another location yo have a proper swim.
None of entertainment was offered unlike other 4 star resorts in Sardinia.
Overall not worth the money, you can find nicer places in the island -

A marvellous stay at Hotel Corte Rosada, the food and drink was top quality and all the staff were excellent, extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was situated in a lovely peaceful location and facilities very good. Our only niggle was a slightly hard and worn mattress. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and grounds with Friendly staff. Great food. Lovely private beach with amazing view. Gardeners woke us up on first morning at 7am strimming for an hour; however manager dealt with our complaint giving us a free meal and bottle of wine. Only criticism was I paid for a sea view room which it was not as it was on ground floor.

BIG WIFI problems. We were unable to have any WiFi in our room or anywhere on the property. Another guests told me he thought it was worse for all Apple products. The hotel said their Wifi was spotty???????
The cleaning lady in our room was great.
The outdoor pool and beach area was great. The outdoor areas around the rooms needed attention. For instance the hand railing were always covered with dirt. Impossible to go up or down using the railing without getting filthy hands,

Property is in a lovely, serene location with great access to many activities. Beautiful pool and spa. Nice private beach. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, it felt more like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast and dinner are buffet only. I was underwhelmed by the selection. No other real options for food unless you go off property. Bar has food, but only during non- breakfast/dinner hours. Room was clean,but very small and sparse with limited to no amenities.

Very nice hotel located in the woods. Generally clean and pleasant. Very airy and spacious restaurant. The breakfast is pretty limited, but this is the typical standard of any hotel in Sardinia (and we have been to a few 4 star hotels in Sardinia). Very narrow strip of beach next to it, but we have not used it, instead we went to gorgeous Pelosa beach 1h drive to the north. Rooms are not large but ok for few nights.

4star rating is justified in some but not all aspects.
Hotel and grounds are lovely and well kept and clean. Breakfasts are very good. Evening buffet is less of an atttaction - their pizzas as an alternate were very good.
Very quiet once dinner ended - very quiet.
Having a rental car was great - allowed us to take day trips - lot of interesting places to visit - and to eat in Alghero which is 15-20 minutes away.

We booked 2 nights here for our anniversary and left our two young children with their grandparents.

All we wanted was peace and quiet and we certainly got that! 2 days of lounging by the pool and reading our books, it was bliss.

The staff were polite and attentive. We’d mentioned in booking that it was our anniversary and we were put in a room with an amazing view of the pool and the sea. A complimentary bottle of prosecco was delivered to our room shortly after we checked in.

Breakfast is as you’d expect a buffet breakfast to be. A great mix of hot and cold - cakes, fruits and meats, bacon and eggs. Coffees can be ordered for free from the waiters. Lunch can be either fresh from the grill or a selection of sandwich type snacks. Evening food in the restaurant is nice and prices are reasonable. Drinks from the bar are a little expensive.

The area is lovely and the view from the private beach is spectacukar but isn’t much around so if you want to venture out of the resort you’ll need a car.

The only criticism I could possible make is that the website states the rooms are soundproofed when they are most definitely not. I was woken in the night by our neighbours brushing their teeth and it sounded like they were at the foot of my bed. We could hear every word that was said. We did have an adjoining room so maybe that was part of the reason.

On the whole I would really recommend this place for a relaxing short break. It was everything we’d hoped for.

Beware the Crickets!!!

Very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff, the hotel is located in a nature reserve with accomodation set in woodland.
Great facilities with an outdoor pool and private beach, however the noise from the insect wildlife was a deafening constant 75dB; unrelenting, and without sound proofing to the hotel rooms left us sleep deprived. Disappointingly we were forced to checkout after only one night from our week booking.
Not sure if this is an all year round issue, but check before you book!

Nice quiet hotel next to the sea.

We had a great time here! Upgraded to a superior room on arrival was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel only if you have a hire car as it is quite remote. We went into alghero every night for dinner which was just a 10 minute drive. Also some lovely beaches nearby with parking, toilets and snack bars.

Location - good distance from the airport and into Alghero. Requires a car though as there's not much around the hotel. Hotel provides shuttle car/van to 3 other beaches nearby, well worth a visit even though there's a private beach at the hotel doorstep. The driver is pleasant and polite.

Venue - Really pleasant hotel with fantastic views, clean rooms, well maintained salt pool, tennis courts and garden. Book early for sea/pool views as rooms are limited due to orientation of the buildings. Most rooms are garden view. On-site Dive centre that offers snorkeling, diving and excursions. Reasonably priced and good fun. Nice and friendly team as well.

Staff/Restaurant - Friendly and helpful staff. And very pleasant too. Wanted to try out a restaurant in Alghero and asked the reception to help with booking and they did an excellent job. When there's no answer at the restaurant, they said to come back later to try again. We didn't and just went ahead to the restaurant and the hotel called me to confirm our reservation. Didn't expect that! Arranged a birthday dinner/cake, and they did make it very wonderful with surprises. Thank you!! In terms of restaurant, there's 2 restaurants and an American bar which serve good pizzas and paninis. Food in the restaurants are good, with different menus each day. Breakfast is included and we've enjoyed it. Lots of fruits and other continental selections.

Beautiful, clean, far, uncomfortable

The backdrop for this hotel could not have been more picturesque! The pool is amazing and the beach is feet in front of you. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room, however, not what I would have wanted for a resort getaway. Although it was clean, the bed was very uncomfortable. We were even upgraded due to our air conditioning not working, but even the suite had the same crappy bed. The distance to Alghero and other cities/restaurants is accessible via bus, but the hotel does not have its own shuttle and it costs a lot to get around if you are not using public transit. The bus system does reach the hotel, but is not very frequent.

Corte Rosada is almost a perfect hotel. We have loved to stay there. Service is great, staff is friendly. Breakfast is good and it has a great offer, however minor changes in the breakfast menu not to have the same things every day would not require big efforts. The only minus is the quality of wi-fi in the whole resort. Very often no internet at all, when it operates it is extremely weak and low quality. Location is perfect however renting a car is almost a must if you would like to stay here.

Stayed here for two weeks half board very expensive €14 euros for a drink also had to pay extra for water yes water bill on checkout even though the waiter was just pouring it as soon as you sat down for evening meal . Also two night was forced to eat Sardinia traditional cusine which most people didn't like when expressed with staff I was told it was a treat and no other option was available even tho I had half board so had pizza two nights and that was not included in half board need car if stay here but in would not return also very noisy but room was cleaned well daily if they can charge you for something they will stay at your risk AVOID . When we walked into reception, all seemed well. Nice pool,nice people, nice bar and nice reception building. We were impressed. But then they showed us our room. The first thing we noticed right away was the amount of flies and mosquitos swarming outside on the door and walls. Then we walked into our room, and inside there were also tons of flies and mosquitos! Our first hour there was spent killing bugs. We ended up leaving to get bug candles and spray. There were areas with small blood splats on the walls,the curtains had brownish mold looking stains on them,the bed sheets had black hairs on them, so we had to ask for the bed to be changed, horrid smell near the desk, and the toilet constantly had foul smells lingering out of it. The shower had definitely not been cleaned before us, soapscum and smudgy fingerprints were all over the shower door and walls. We asked for a different room, but they were completely booked. Very dirty place. Wifi was bad. Dinner requires reservation. Breakfast was decent.

Relaxing resort with a beautiful setting

This hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot a short distance away from town and airport, surrounded by beautiful Sardinian beach and nature. There are lots to do around there if you are outdoor type, if not then it's easy access to Alghero town (you need a car.) We opted for half board as it was really a good price, breakfast was good, though may feel limited if you are after \"English\" breakfast type (i.e. mushrooms and fried egg). Dinner menu changed everyday, which was a nice surprise, and had reasonable selection (we were never bored) and food wasn't bad, included regional touch and loads of fresh seafood. Room was comfortable and cleaning was more than sufficient. Room size was slightly on a small side but in our experience all Italian hotels are a bit like that. Superb Wifi connection!

okay for what we paid

We got a very good deal for a week in October and the hotel really wasnt worth more than what we paid for. On check-in, there was only 1 staff member who left us standing there for 20mins waiting to check into our room. The first room we were shown had 1 completely mouldy wall so we took all our luggage back to the main reception area to get a new room. Taking again all our luggage to the second room, it turned out this room wasn't cleaned or made. Again, down the steps with all our suitcases, hungry and tired and very annoyed at that stage, we were given another room and did the same spiel yet again. Besides from the very drainy smell in the bathroom, the room was okay so we decided to settle in. For a 4 star hotel, the rooms are very very basic, the bathroom wasnt even stocked with soap or showel gel and the cobwebs havent been removed in quite some time. An overall very disappointing start to our holidays.
The onsite restaurant didnt help matters either, with staff who are so set in their ways that they couldnt cope with us not having made a reservation for the restaurant albeit only 10 out of 150 tables were taken as not very many guests stayed in the hotel. The menu didnt have any prices displayed, we asked twice for the wine list, our waiter was condescending and the whole thing just soulless. We quickly decided to not eat there again.
The facilities on the premises are very good though. There are two tennis courts and they rent out decent rackets and balls. You can also rent a canoe or cayak for free for 30mins (10Euro after that) and mountain bikes for 10Euro per day. Other than that there's the pool (freezing cold water) and the sea (warmer than the pool).
There is a bar that closes at midnight which sells coffee, wine, cocktails (Irish prices) and the leftover cake and croissants from the breakfast buffet. They also do sandwiches but we didnt try them.
The breakfast buffet was very good. Fresh fruit, yogurts, juices, eggs, cold meats and cheese, breadrolls and cakes...there was something for everyone. The bar staff would make cappuccinos and espressos on order but often it was impossible to get the staff's attention to actually order something. I wonder how they cope during high season. What really quickly got the staff's attention very quickly, is anyone trying to sit where ever they wanted. That they really didnt like. The first day I asked whether I can sit anywhere but after I chose my table and was asked to move somewhere else. This I witnessed happening every morning with several families to the extent that it almost amused me and I toyed with idea to sit on the 'forbidden table' on purpose.

Clean hotel and room with great staff + restaurant

Stayed here for a full week during first week of October 2015. Room was very clean and had all the basic needs for a hotel room (except hot water kettle or coffee machine). Bathroom was a decent size and thankfully had a shower instead of bath. The mattress was a bit hard for my liking. The room heating via aircon was not working for most of the week despite asking reception to increase the temperature range (it showed it was 23 degree C but that was how it felt). Additional blankets did the job of staying warm at night. FYI, it was around 25 degrees C outside.

The hotel facilities are good with a big and deep pool, tennis courts and private beach. As the hotel is quite remote, I would recommend the half board option if you can. The menu is not only different every day, but also very good quality, even for my vegetarian wife. Breakfast is basic but good and will fill you up nicely to skip lunch. Plus, champagne was delivered for my birthday.

A rental car is recommended due to remote location and especially out of high season (after 01 Oct), as bus services are reduced dramatically. If you are flying with Ryanair, book a car through them; normal prices for a small car are about 70-75 Euro per day and 150 Euro for 3 days, but with Ryanair we booked a Fiat 500 (very spacious inside even for 6'2\" guy) for only 85 Euros for 3 days. And you will want to explore the many beautiful, remote beaches and the northern hills and winding roads between Sassari and Olbia (2.5-3 hours).

Great location beautifully set in a pine forest on the edge of a private beach on a beautiful bay. Staff and facilities are excellent. Really need a hire car if you're not happy to just relax on the beach or pool. Hotel evening meals are average but there is an excellent restaurant - embarcadero - nearby. Lovely staff, was sad to leave.

Nice hotel/resort, large private beach, the sea is rocky (smooth rocks), but in a quiet bay. Lots of restaurants in Alghero and a few in Fertilia if you don't want to eat at the hotel, but their prices are competitive. A close drive to Bombarde, Lazeretto beaches if you want a change, about an hour away from Stintino which may be the best beach in Sardinia.

Stayed for 10 nights in August, 2014 . Hotel location is excellent , on the beach. Rooms clean with large comfy bed. Hotel staff were all polite and accommodating and spoke good English! The outside grill restaurant (attached to the hotel) is excellent serving good choice of grilled food which is excellent value for money. Overall fabulous holiday and will definitely return.

Minimal hotel living ...

Upon arrival I was very disappointed with the hotels' curb appeal. I could see that the villa were old and dated. Through the front door were this tacky 4x4 foot rugs that slide all over the place when you tried to pull your luggage in. Upon checking-in the keep your passport instead of just making a copy of the necessary information. One of the attendants did escort u to your room which was minimalist to the core. I was able to get my room changed from the original booking with little worries. The pool/ Oceanside lounge area was very nice to look at. Overall the hotel had little activities to provide a tourist and the food was beyond horrible and way too expensive. I spent way too much money having to taxi to town - I should have done a better job researching. Never again

Negativ: unruhiges Frühstück aufgrund der Anzahl der Gäste, oft mehr als 5 min Wartezeit am Kaffeeautomaten, die vielen Arbeitsplätze für das Personal neben den Frühstückstischen wirken störend, Strand ist leider sehr steinig (groß),

Alles in allem aber ein schöner Urlaub

La plage n’ pas très agréable (roches dans l’eau, mais un ponton permet de nager confortablement.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und modern eingerichtet. Es sind zwar 15 Autominuten nach Alghero dafür ist es aber sehr ruhig und schön gelegen und zu den Spots am Cappo Caccia sind es auch nur 15 Minuten. Das Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank an Anna für die Hilfe beim Ticket und die vielen Tips.

Die Zimmer die ganze super gepflegte Anlage waren echt ganz Toll.
Fast alle Angestellten immer sehr zuvorkommend hilfsbereit freundlich.
Die Barangestellten unter Tags könnten einen Tick freundlicher sein.

Sonst der perfekte Urlaub wir kommen sicher nächstes Jahr wieder

Au top, je recommande fortement

Personnel très accueillant et professionnel, infrastructures au top, piscine d’eau de mer très agréable, l’hôtel est « adult only » donc nous avons pu nous reposer. Parking ombragé et places en suffisance. Chambre très propre. Je ne trouve pas de points négatifs.

Hôtel très confortable. Les chambres sont modernes et agréables. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, avec énormément de variétés. La piscine d'eau de mer est très grande, très calme, avec un bon nombre de transats. La plage privée est très belle, mais attention on ne s'y baigne pas facilement (beaucoup de rochers). Un ponton permet d'accéder à des zones sableuses. L'hôtel dispose d'une zone sauna/hammam, mais nous avons trouvé le prix d'accès déraisonnable.
Attention, il vaut mieux être véhiculé.

Nice and quiet location outside Alghero. Beautiful area. Nice pool and a very nice private beach. Good breakfast. Easy to visit Alghero by car. Can also recommend Bosa town and the scenic road. Also the green cave is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Das Zimmer war Dauer feucht. Alles immer klamm. Das Bad hat Schimmel aufgewiesen.
Die Terrassen Möbel waren mit vogelscheisse voll.

Ein Spa wo kein Spa Inclusive ist. Dieser kostet 35,- für 50min pro Person. Dei der Dampfsauna sollte die Düsen gecheckt werden… richt auch verschimmelt. Alle seifen Spender leer und kein Aufguss Wasser…

Das frühstück war gut und reichlich. Das personal ist sehr bemüht. Die Geräusch Kulisse erinnert mich nur an ein Essen in der Mensa

Sehr ruhige Anlage…Spa-Bereich war im Oktober leider schon geschlossen…der Pool war mir zu kalt…das Zimmer sehr klein und minimalistisch eingerichtet, allerdings eine Kaffemaschine und Minibar waren vorhanden…ansonsten aber alles soweit gut.

Morgenessen ist nicht 4Stern würdig, Früchte aus Konserven, Omlette und Spiegeleier werden separat verrechnet. Service ist fürchterlich, unaufmerksam und langsam. Essen im Restaurant gut, wenig aber teuer. Strand ist nicht optimal, man kann nur über einen Steg ins Wasser. Im Speisesaal ist es sehr laut da viele Cars da sind.

Le seul côté négatif de notre séjour fût au moment des repas. Un manque de professionnalisme de servir un repas froid, le retourner non consommé pour ensuite le charger à la chambre. Mon conjoint à dû contester afin recevoir le remboursement. Mikael ne nous a pas offert un service de qualité. Autre point : L’éclairage de la salle a diner était beaucoup trop claire pour un repas en soirée. Salle de bain ont besoin d’une mise à jour.

Agréable complexe hôtelier

De passage pour seulement une nuit, le séjour s’est très bien déroulé, nous avons pu profiter des installations dont la belle et calme piscine, en bord de mer.

L’établissement se compose de plusieurs bâtiments, ce n’est pas un bloc massif ce qui est agréable.

Inte ett 4-stjärnigt hotell!

Detta är INTE ett riktigt 4-stjärnigt hotell. Standarden är mycket lägre än vad som förväntas av ett sådant hotell, speciellt med tanke på priset.
Rummet var jättegammalt och ofräscht, inklusive badrum och obekväm säng. Väldigt mycket oljud från syrsor gjorde det svårt att sova på nätterna. Stranden är ingen höjdare och hotell tar betalt för de bra solstolarna trots att dem ska ingå i priset. Restaurangen ser ut som en sjukhusmatsal och middagen var usel och till överpris. Det positiva är ett snyggt poolområde (dock havsvatten i poolen) och frukosten är ok.

L'hotel è molto bello, notevole la piscina molto ampia e bella la spiaggia, peccato che il mare davanti alla spiaggia privata è sassoso e di difficile accesso, occorre spostarsi di un centinaio di metri per trovare l'accesso sabbioso.
Il pregio dell'hotel è che essendo solo per adulti, è molto tranquillo e rilassante.
La sua carenza, invece, è il ristorante che offre poca scelta, in particolare a che non mangia il pesce e questo crea un vero problema, dato che non ci sono alternative nelle vicinanze e per raggiungere Alghero, dove la scelta è varia, servono 35 euro di taxi a tratta.

La prestation n'est pas à la hauteur des prix

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur mer, soit 303 euro au lieu de 153 euro pour une chambre classique. Quelle déception de voir la chambre que nous avions à ce prix là........un trait de mer entre deux bâtiments de l'hôtel !!!!! (Cf. Photo jointe). Une honte d'appeler cela \"vue sur mer\". Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, non sans mal et avec une grande inconsideration de la réception et de la manager du jour.....nous ne parlons pas italiens mais nous savons reconnaître le ton de propos incorrects !!!

Mooi hotel met goede service alleen jammer dat het zwembad zoutwater is voor de verdere rest prima. Ik moet er bij zeggen dat je wel een auto moet hebben daar het erg afgelegen ligt
