A beautiful place to stay in the countryside just outside Noto. Rooms were tastefully decorated and there is also a large swimming pool and tennis court and all set in the most peaceful and picturesque setting surrounded by olive trees. Breakfasts and dinners are exceptional and would recommend here to anyone who happens to be travelling down the south of Sicily. Easy to travel by car to lovely towns like Noto, Syracusa and Ragusa to name a few. Amazing stay for 4 nights and the staff so polite and friendly!

Our third stay at the Masseria in Val di Noto. Every time we visit we discover a different side to the area. The hotel is the perfect tranquil base. Pared back elegance, lovely staff who recognise us. Pool area is in our opinion perfect. Looking forward to the next time.

We stayed at 6 different hotels on our trip to Sicily and this was our favorite. The setting is beautiful, the property very well kept. The staff was gracious and kind. The breakfast was wonderful- so many handmade pastries and cookies, delicious and so inviting. We did not know they offered dinner or we would have tried that too. Room was very quiet and clean.

Overall great, but be aware of hidden costs

The hotel, Garden, Restaurant and Pool are all very well maintained and clean. The interior is simple but in good condition and it feels cozy. Bathrooms were spacious, clean and overall great as well. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the friendly service.

The only negative point I would mention is that they charged us a fee if 6 EUR for a pool towel, which was not mentioned when they handed the towels to us. To me this seems very surprising and unusual, at least you need to make your guests aware of additional costs.

Excellent service - staff were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and the mattress was one of the best I have ever slept on. We even had a small private terrace. Restaurant was very good - excellent service and Michelin standard food at a reasonable price. Lovely terrace for al fresco breakfast.

Fantastic hotel. We will be back. One small complaint is their breakfast staff. Too busy talking and absolutely no service awareness unlike the lunch and evening staff who were perfect. When ordering tea or coffee in the morning you really felt loved like you had to beg.

Lovely resort for a \" do nothing\" relaxing get away. Wonderful staff, grounds are beautifully kept. The pool area is gorgeous. Wasn't expecting an infinity pool in the middle of a rural setting. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choices. We had dinner two nights at the restaurant and enjoyed the variety and quality of the food.

Masseria degli Ulivi

We enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable week at Masseria delgi Uvili. The welcome was warm and information provided useful. Our room was clean and comfortable and made more appealing by the pleasant scent of Jasmine at our door from the shrub outside! The pool was excellent and staff regularly offered drinks and food by the pool.
Evening meals were of the highest standard and wine list extensive. Breakfast was an ideal start for the day's activities.
Whilst a car was essential for the visit, the hotel is ideally located for visits to all local points of interest and an excellent beach is only 30 mins away.

Could be so much better

Hotel has nice pool and olive grove lawn around it, staff generally friendly although English not strong. Beds comfortable if a little 'hard' looking, restaurant has nice food if you order a la carte.

On the down side, room cleaning was very inconsistent with dirty cups left in room and mess outside neighbouring room left for a day. They have the pool but you'll have to pay extra for towels if you want to use one. Breakfast is functional with school dinners coffee, albeit nice pastries.

Great little hotel

Beautifully clean, tastefully decorated room but a little on the small side. Staff excellent as were grounds and pool. Restaurant good and very reasonably priced, especially the wine. Breakfast was ok but we felt the homemade bread was a little in the heavy side compared to what we had elsewhere. A couple of very small issues which had no overall impact on the quality of our stay which we enjoyed very much indeed. We would love to return and highly recommend the hotel for ease of access to sights in the area and its peaceful country location. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely peaceful place to stay

This is a charming hotel in extensive grounds with many beautiful trees, notably the century-old olive trees. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is wide ranging and delicious. The hotel accommodated the need for a gluten-free diet easily and prepared freshly-made bread rolls each day.

Beautiful and peaceful stay

We stayed here for a long weekend, the room was extremely clean and cool, simple decor but you don't need much when it's so gorgeous outside! The food is really good, we had lunch and dinner a couple of times and breakfast has a great variety of things to choose from. The pool is crystal clear and is in a lovely position surrounded by lawns and olive trees. We liked it so much that we are planning to go back next year!

Very special Hotel

This hotel is a real Gem, immaculately clean, attentive service and spectacular surroundings. Food is good, town is not too far away if you want to eat out (10mins). The grounds and pool are like a 5 star retreat and its reaonably priced £12 for main course, drinks same as UK. If youhave kids and want to go the beach there are several within 20-30 mins

Perfect setting for leaving behind all worldly worries. Friendly, helpful and very efficient staff. A little more generosity in towels and toiletries without sacrificing environmental emphasis could be welcome as the nearest town center is quite far. I loved whatever little time I spent @ the Masseria despite the super noisy guests who used the pool for snorkel and diving training with their noisier children. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Great hub from which to explore SE Sicily

While this place is well off the beaten track it is well worth finding. It is a very relaxing place to stay and a great base point from which to venture out. The icing on the cake comes in the evening when you can retreat to the restaurant and enjoy some real culinary treats. The pride and passion the staff had about their food and wine was contagious.

Tutto molto bello ma...

Il luogo incantevole e ben curato. La cucina ottima ed il personale del ristorante gentilissimo. Peccato però a rovinare la serenità del soggiorno un cane di grossa taglia libero di circolare ovunque, sala da pranzo inclusa. La struttura non ammette gli animali... però non si capisce perchè non si ammetta un cane di servizio ma si lasci che il cane del proprietario arrivi ovunque anche a disturbare gli ospiti mentre pranzano. La persona che viaggiava con me ha un problema di allergia importante che si poteva rivelare complicato e ci ha fatto stare in pensiero tutto il tempo, una famiglia che abbiamo conosciuto in piscina pensava di concludere prima il soggiorno perchè nonostante avessero segnalato la fobia della propria bambina si ritrovavano continuamente davanti questo cane... Posso capire che è buono ma trovo poco professionale lasciarlo libero ovunque anche a costo di rovinare la vacanza ai tuoi ospiti soprattutto se ti hanno scelto anche perchè non ammetti animali. Sarebbe stato un weekend di relax e invece non vedevamo l'ora di andare via...in tutto questo, poca comprensione del personale e addirittura una mattina raggirati perchè dissero che lo avrebbe portato via il prorpietario o legato e poi si è ripresentato da solo (ripeto cane di grossa taglia)

Se avete intenzione di visitare la Sicilia barocca non potete che scegliere come base questa masseria. È un piccolo angolo di paradiso a dieci minuti da Noto. Personale, location e cibo veramente eccezionali. Posizione ottima, abbiamo girato dal 16 al 23 agosto per tutta la sicilia orientale tenendo come base la Masseria degli Ulivi (che ormai chiamavamo \"casa\"). Super consigliata!!!!

La masseria si trova nella bellissima e tranquilla campagna tra Noto e Palazzolo Acreide; le camere sono ampie, arredate in modo semplice ma di buon gusto, dislocate in modo da garantire riservatezza a tutti gli ospiti. La colazione è di alta qualità, con prodotti del territorio: buon pane, ricotta, ragusano e pecorino con il pepe, olive, pomodori, miele dei Monti iblei, marmellata di pere della tenuta, croissant con crema di ricotta e tanta frutta sono le cose che abbiamo preso noi ma c'è molto altro (certo, e per fortuna, non ci sono wurstel o pancake...). Ottimo il ristorante, in cui abbiamo mangiato alla carta sia a pranzo che a cena per sei pasti in una settimana.

Tout s’est très bien passé. La réceptionniste était très efficace. Très bel endroit. Belle chambre et sdb. Très belle piscine. Grand parking. Le seul point négatif était le petit-déjeuner et le service. Le moins bon des 5 hébergements que nous avons eu pendant 2 semaines en Sicile. Nous n’avons pas dîné à l’hôtel. La magnifique Noto est à 10 km. (+/-1/2h de route)

Nous avons passé 3 nuits avec un enfant de 4 ans. Nous avons adoré le cadre. Havre de paix au milieu des oliviers et un resto au top !!
Personnel très sympa, tant pour l’entretien des chambres qu’au petit déjeuner ou au resto (un vrai service, un vrai resto !). L’accueil également est excellent.

Der Agriturismo-Betrieb liegt ca. 10km von Noto entfernt in ruhiger Lage in mitten von Olivenbäumen. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, das Bad etwas klein. Kleine Sitzgelegenheit vor jedem Apartment. Großer Swimmingpool mit ausreichend Liegen und Schatten. 3 kleine Thermenbecken, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben.
Eine ausgezeichnete Küche mit sizilianischen Spezialitäten und Weinen. Gutes Frühstück, es gab auch herzhafte Sachen sowie frisches Obst. Freundliches Servicepersonal und die zentrale Lage für Ausflüge in Städte und Natur empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft.
