The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast tasted great.

Our room was right under the kitchen so I would wake up everyday at 5am (consistent until breakfast is over) but my partner who’s a heavy sleeper was able to sleep through it.

Other than that it was quiet throughout the night.

We had a cozy nest room - two sized single beds
The room was modern, very clean, good facilities and and had a great shower
Liked the fact that there were free drinks and snacks - and nice to have some outdoor space with a roof terrace and breakfast room
We had to leave early morning, on both days of our stay so didn’t try the breakfast but the staff kindly put us a little snack box together
Good location and a nice little pizza restaurant opposite which was handy as we arrived late due to the horrendous traffic in the city
Would definitely stay again

Probably our favorite stay in 3 weeks in SE Asia. We were all disappointed we only stayed here one night! Bed was super comfortable, AC was great. Loved the decor! The only downside is if you are a light sleeper thenl street noise is pretty loud. Just bring earplugs. It' worth staying here!

Great location. Hotel has a slight hostel vibe but was comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was ok but a bit limited selection (all made fresh to order though). Staff were not the most friendly - but helpful enough when we needed something.

The pantry where could grab water / iced tea / beer / crisps etc was great. And the communual roof top area was nice to sit in. We didn't use the washer / dryer, but looked a great facility.

A simple place with everything you need for a short stay. Close proximity to major tourist attractions and easy to get Grab - the new subway station is just 5 mins walking distance. The hotel offers free all day snacks, drinks (juice, chocolate milk, beers) and instant noodles. You can order cooked breakfast and the menu changes daily. The bunk bed set up is great for friends travelling together. You do have a few major traffic intersections, so be brave when crossing the road…..

Lousy coffee service and don’t trick us

Everything is well and smooth. However I don’t understand is why hot coffee can make as drip coffee( while cold cannot.. isn’t just add ice after that ? When I ask to change , then try to trick as use any coffee in kitchen and put the drip coffee with little power to show us it’s a drip coffee?

Loved the hotel, the decor of the room, and the free drinks and snacks. We did suffer with really loud noise from the road on both nights of our trip (loud all hours of the night) and cold showers on one morning. Staff were lovely and we were able to leave our luggage in a secure room after checkout.

This was a great hotel which is centrally located in Ho Chi Minh City.
The room was clean and specious and the staff were extremely helpful (i had an issue with my tourist sim card).
We were travelling with a 3 year old and 5 month old and the staff were great when interacting with the kids.
The only down side was that they did not have a cot for our 5 month old (not the end of the world).
Overall a great hotel with the added bonus of unlimited drinks (including beer) / snacks 24/7.

We really enjoyed this property, the pantry and rooftop area were great, and the water pressure in the showers was amazing after a long flight.
The air con in the room didn't seem to get super cold, but it worked well enough to be able to sleep comfortably without the blankets on, so not really a complaint.

好處：
1. 9樓有免費的薯片/杯麵/飲品(含酒精)暢吃
2.天台有洗衣機乾衣機免費使用
3. 距離很多景點都超級近 10分鐘步行左右
4. 員工非常有禮貌
5. 早上有免費早餐
6. 枕頭夠多夠舒服床單感覺絲滑

壞處：
1. 吊床應該沒有洗過坐久了身體會癢
2. 房間唯一一張枱沒有螺絲固定差一點反枱
3. 廁所的廁所板沒有被固定
4. 隔音極差特別窗的隔音夜晚很難睡得著
5. 清潔不夠仔細牆上黏了很多東西特別看到有鼻屎跟貼紙
6. 電視機老舊不能連接iPhone

總結
位置方便員工態度好但價錢真的是偏貴這個價錢有更好的酒店選擇不會再來住

Great value for the price in a very spacious room. I felt the hotel gives of a semi hipster / hostel vibe but with a lot more privacy. Service was friendly and fast. Having the social room with the free snacks and beverage was great and laundry/drier with free detergent was extremely helpful and convenient.

There was a little bit from the outside .. more so during the day than night. But for light sleeper, ear plugs are more then enough to block out the random noise

I stayed in 4 hotels on my trip and this one was my favorite. The rooms are cozy and the amenities are amazing! Breakfast every morning, free snacks and drinks available 24/7. Free laundry machines. It’s an amazing deal. The property is nice and in a great, walkable area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would come back if I’m in the area again.

Location is great in District 1 and even though I didn't realize I booked a bunk room, the bed was so cozy and comfy.

1) Room is rather small compared to the other Hammock at Ben Thanh
2) Toilet shower room is rather slippery and this poses a risk of slipping and falling down especially for young and elderly guests
3) The lift should be upgraded as it is quite dirty. Delivery and housekeeping are using the same lift without any segregation between guests
4) Door to the pantry on 9th floor is difficult to open, perhaps may want to consider installing a press open slide door, similar to the entrance door of the hotel
5) Same for door access to the rooftop (refer to 4 above)
6) A bit gloomy in the reception area as compared to the other Hammock at Ben Thanh. Perhaps, lighting can be improved to liven up the reception area
7) Fridge in the room only filled up with mineral water. Can we standardise the items in the fridge with the other Hammock at Ben Thanh i.e. some beers and milk too?
8) Pantry at 8th floor does not have any coffee 3 in 1?
9) Is there any need to have a long table at the pantry as it takes up too much space. Maybe to remove the long table and set up 1 table with 2 seats, similar to the other tables, this will free up space for more guests to have breakfast

The hotel had the communal vibe of a hostel, with amenities like free laundry, snacks, bottled water, and beer.

It would have been nice if the air conditioner in the room worked a little better, as it was quite warm, but otherwise, it was a fun and comfortable place to stay!

Staff were nice, accomadating, helpful and spoke English pretty well. Guard was friendly and helpful. Meal service was good and the breakfast amazing.

Room was clean though has a little wear and tear. Bathroom drainage is a little slow but still alright.

The 9th floor and rooftop is fabulous. Great view and the freeflow of drinks and snacks is wonderful!

Would definitely choose to stay here when visiting Saigon in future!

First of all, I have to say the Hammocks hotels are very good, I stay in this area only one day, then I transferred to the one at Ben Thanh one( the other Hammock) because I have friend here, and the staff at Ben Thanh so helpful and all of them were so nice. They had the best group of talented and young people to service here. Oh I have to mention the chefs at this Hammocks at Ben Thanh, his name is Quang, he cook the best breakfast compared to others hotels I stay in Viet Nam. Finally o recommend this hotels, definitely will comeback here.

Vietnamese breakfast selections were good. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

We also tried the banana coffee at the cafe downstairs (behind check in counter) and were pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted.

The staffs were fantastic but the property is very noisy and a bit outdated. They did helped us switched room but still very noisy and I was having trouble sleeping at night. The bathroom is dingy with one light bulb. It looks brighter and new in the pictures. Overall, great service and nice free snacks and drinks.

Like the style and feel of the whole hotel. The location is pretty convenient as well. Love the part where by there is the Level 9 common area where by snacks and drinks are free for guests to consume. Overall the stay was comfortable. The security guard at the building was very helpful too. Breakfast was generally good too.

Maybe just that the noise cancellation is not superb, can hear some noise throughout the night, like we can hear other guest if they are too loud. Lastly the flushing system in the toilet can be better, it is very slow and does not flush really well. The water flow for the flushing is not good.

Despite a comfortable enough room, we were disappointed in that the hotel feels a bit like a college dorm...dank, dark hallways and stairwells lead up to a small rooftop. Breakfast was pretty good, staff pretty helpful. Location walkable to many sites. Would have been more to our liking in our 20's, today we prefer a little bit more refinement easily found at the same price point in the neighborhood.

Service is good from the staff but the cleaning not that great went into the room with a used towel behind the toliet door, clear the towel outside the room door told the staff they can clear the towel outside the room but took them a day to clear it. If u love to party and stay out very late like 2am to 4am this hotel can stay coz if u get the 1st floor room welcome to the club that is at B1 which will play music till about 2am to 4am. Other wise stay away from this hotel better. Breakfast selection change daily for the 2 nights stay which is great and the free selection and amount of snack is good when im in the room waiting for the music to stop

I REALLY enjoyed my stay here at The Hammock! My 3-week trip was a complete nightmare and hope I never experience again; however, the highlight of my stay in Ho Chi Minh City was the exceptional staff who made my stay enjoyable...when I needed a shuttle to and from the airport, The two Annie's Tran,, Nina and Nina were able to book shuttles for a VERY good price to and from the hotel. When I got lost finding my way back to the hotel, Annie and Trang were extremely helpful! When I wanted to change rooms, Chris and Felix were able to transfer to a great room and a VERY good rate for my entire stay! The breakfast offered each morning was great(especially their pancakes!😋), plus all the soft drinks, snacks and cup of noodles was an excellent bonus! When I wanted to order food or make reservations for a restaurant, Annie , Tran and Lindsey were able to provide with lots of good options and ordered delicious foods! My trip was a really bad experience, but this wonderful and caring staff understood and went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay memorable and comfortable and from the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU!!! When I return to Ho Chi Minh City, I will DEFINITELY stay at the Hammock Hotel again! I HIGHLY recommend staying here!😊

Book this hotel. It is walking distance from everything, and the amenities are great. Breakfast is included, which was delicious, and there are unlimited free snacks and beverages for the duration of your stay. The room was clean, although small. You can also do laundry for free, but if you do make sure to do so early as there are only 2 machines and the loads take a long time.

Budget Friendly Hotel in Ho Chi Minh

This was a great hotel centrally located within Ho Chi Minh City. It Is only a few minutes walk from the hotel to Ben Thanh market, Nguyen Hue walking street, and Reunification Palace. There were multiple dining and transportation options nearby. The hotel seems to be newly renovated, and is clean and well-equipped. The room wasn't as big as some other places I've stayed at in Vietnam, but that wasn't a big deal for me - the room had a window which is not something I could say about some other places I've stayed at. The wifi worked well during my stay and there was a TV with English channels available. The free beverages and snacks at the hotel was definitely a big draw of the hotel - chips, cup noodles and soda were all available. The complimentary breakfast (with western and Vietnamese options available) was also a very nice touch. A special feature of the hotel was the rooftop terrace - it was a place for self-serve laundry but it was a good place to hang out, and a good place for taking photos of the Ho Chi Minh city skyline.

I can’t say enough about this great value of a hotel. The young staff are so efficient and friendly. They truly understand what customer service is all about. Thumbs up to your staff. The breakfast menu of 3 different items was changed daily and each was tasty during our 4 night stay. The room had extra cold AC when you coming in from the hot humid climate. Bathroom is modern with choice of shower heads. The bed was comfortable. At least ours was in the double cozy nest room. Room was equipped with safe and fully stocked mini fridge. Unbelievable but true, the lobby on the 9th floor, had all the snacks and beverages you could handle, including a selection of 4 different local beer!! The location is super convenient as you’re steps away from the famous Ben Thanh market. Check out the view on the roof top in the evening with a beer and a love one. You’ll thank me later. Yes, free washer dryer for your use! Not sure what else to say. I’ll add a couple of minor negatives to keep it real. Could have used a drawer to hold some clothes, but living out of a bag was no big deal. Also there is some construction about a block or two away, but that is indicative of this growing metropolis. Book here! We loved our stay.

We had a great stay. Room was very comfortable and I enjoyed hanging in the hammock more than I imagined I would 😂 Breakfast was tasty. Access to the laundry was so handy. Free drinks and snacks added to the good vibe. Location was perfect for us and last but not least the staff were kind and helpful. We would stay again and recommend to others.

Everything was good about the hotel. The staff was friendly and hospitable, and the service was great. However, there were some issues with the toilet and security. There was a bad sewage smell coming from the toilet. Also, I was woken up in the middle of the night at around three by the sounds of someone turning the door knob and constant knocking on the door. This persisted for a few minutes and When I reflected to the staff, they said that it was the maintenance guy who was there trying to fix the toilet. I found it very disturbing for a maintenance guy to go to a hotel room at around three in the midddle of the night to fix the sewage.

The hotel is clean and well presented. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have everything you need.You are allowed free soft drinks etc that are available upstairs in the dining area. There are washers and dryers upstairs as well. The staff are so very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel..... Unlimited beer, water, soda and snacks.... 24/7. We got the extra small with bunk beds for two of us.... Very comfortable and surprisingly spacious.

Great location. Delicious breakfast. Incredible value for the money. Great roof top view and place to hang out with hammocks and chairs and a pool table.

We loved this hotel! It is one of the most aesthetically pleasing hotels I have seen. The hammock, the mini bar, the bed, the easel, all coming together beautifully. And that's just the room. The reception area on the 9th floor boasted snacks and drinks galore, all complimentary. Complimentary laundry service as well. And the rooftop area was really nice as well. I would definitely visit #thehammockhotel again. I wish they had more locations!

A simple, yet fantastic hotel in the heart of the city. If you find yourself in Ho Chi Minh City this place would likely be the highlight of your trip. The rates are good and the rooms are very comfortable. WiFi is spectacular and the amenities are absolutely first class. From soap, shampoo, toothbrush, razor, comb to the complimentary mini-bar and included breakfast. The rooftop deck is also comfy and fantastic and you can even wash your own clothes there. I nice retreat in the middle of a crazy city. The only con is it isn’t the quietest. But I don’t think anyplace in this city is quiet.

Not only is this a very cute hotel, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the amenities far more than expected. The breakfast each morning was fantastic too. I'll definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I find myself in HCMC.
