Disappointing Experience – Rude Staff, Hidden Fees & Outdated Rooms

The only good thing about this hotel is the location—it’s close to restaurants and stores, which made it convenient. However, everything else was a letdown. The staff was rude and seemed more interested in charging ridiculous fees than providing decent service. They tried to add extra costs for things like “earthquake insurance” and even claimed towels were “too dirty” from makeup. On top of that, the rooms were extremely outdated—like something straight out of the 80s, with old furniture and worn-out decor. Instead of working with guests, the employees were dismissive and unhelpful. Definitely not worth the stay. Spend your money elsewhere.

The rooms are small but nice,there staff was awesome, and there location was great. The Apache roof top bar and restaurant at the hotel it self, was awesome with great variety's of music, the kitchen bar and restaurant at the hotel had a really nice bar, and great place to for dinner and drinks, with a great breakfast daily. Mismanaged place, breakfast is poor.

This place is very bad choice overall.
I’ve been staying here for few years once in a while and it keeps getting worse and worse. Must be the general managers’ fault.
Here some of the issues:
Service: terrible, slow, no English at all, takes so long to check you in (copies of all your documents and then they enter them in como database).
They always try to overcharge you. Insurance, extra fees and taxes - at check in and check out.

Breakfast is very soso and they charge too much for it. Never book with breakfast included.

On a recent stay they let somebody go up without asking me first. Terrible.

The worst customer service, very impolite.
Our sons couldn't sleep because of the rats noise, we recorded the noise and reported it to the reception and they tried to quipe us quited, they just gave us another room.
They charged us without righ the local taxes.
The breakfast was included and we wanted to confirm, to avoid confusions and they wanted to charge us.
We requested the iron and they told us we had to paid them to do it.
We won't recomen that hotel, it is the worst.
They got the stars in a cornflakes box.

NICE hotel, close to the mall and police station.

It’s a nice hotel for a great price, next to the police station, it felt safe and offered a nice disconnect for some time. I’d stay there again and it could be even better if it just had an update. But all in all you can’t go wrong.

Never again ! I had booked the hotel for 9 nights and by the time it was my 4th night we left-due to BED BUGS !!!! I got bit everywhere! All over my body arms legs back stomach even my face !we told the front desk and asked for a refund as well if possible and only said they will run a report. I knew it was due to bed bugs since one night when I woke up due to the richness I found one in my arm and then went to the bed and saw another one. ASAP I LEFT THE HOTEL THAT DAY before those creatures attacked my 1 year old son- which the bit actually showed up the next day on his face unfortunately :( the only good thing was the breakfast and the staff EXCLUDED the front desk which didn't help or care about anything that had happened ... but I won't be staying there ever again. The picture posted is a pic I took AFTER the fact of returning back home and visiting the urgent care for antibiotics - while having recently being bitten my arms and body was swollen with bites and bruising from all the itchiness even the doctor was amazed of how intense the bugs got me

Nice place for basic business or family travels

Offers easy access to shopping, nightlife, and great food. The nightlife *can* be a little loud...but nothing that will keep you awake. There was definitely an English/Spanish language barrier which is a bit odd for a hotel in the capital. Staff is definitely focused on customer service. Included breakfast is simple but enough to get you going. Rooms were a little hot, especially in the evenings. There are no air-conditioning or temperature controls. Bed slept well and the hotel was quiet on the inside.

This Hotel hit us with an extra charge per night no listed anywhere in the reservation. After asking what the charges were for, they call it \"insurance\" and told us it was across the board for every Hotel in the country, since then we stayed in many other hotels in the same city and other parts of the country, and no one new about those extra charges. \" Breakfast included\" do not expect much in food quality and amount.

NO WIFI and Staff that laughs at you

I travel often all over Latin America and by far this was the worst stay that i have ever encountered. The staff told me all weekend that the WIFI would be working in hours, oh the next morning, that evening, the last day they finally tell me that hotel engineer is out of town and it would be back up on Monday or Tuesday. This was completely unnacceptable and I had to get an international upgrade for data on my phone, and now have a major bill to pay all because the hotel could not tell me the truth on the WIFI situation. There seemed to be no communication between staff members, because one staff member let me use the computer behind the desk of course i could only check my flight information, then later on that evening they front desk guy had to call somone to authorize for me to use again. Not even the WIFI in the lobby was working as they told me over and over that it was, even the staff at the lobby could not get it connected. Business center all computers were down as well. The staff thought I did not understand spanish and on one occassion thought i heard them say something as I walked in and laugh as I walked by. The staff had no other things or places to go to get WIFI. I had told a staff member that the security fee they wanted to charge me was not going to be paid because of the no WIFIthen at check out they made me pay and said to bad there was no way around it, and they said by no means would any staff member tell me it was ok not to pay it, which is what was said to me when I told them I was not going to pay after finding out the WIFI was not going to work. Also they had airport ransportation and it was not offered until i told them i wanted management s email to send a letter then I was offered free airport transportation.

La habitacion descuidada igualmente los muebles. La vista q tenia cuando abria las cortinas eran techos viejos en reparación por lo que en ocasiones no quería abrir las cortinas. El desayuno era pésimo tuve que desayunar todos los días fuera del hotel

Lamentablemente mi experiencia en este hotel no fue satisfactoria. Las facilidades no están adecuadas ni a la altura de un alojamiento moderno, lo que genera incomodidad durante la estadía. Aunque el personal que atiende directamente al cliente mostró amabilidad y disposición, el trato a nivel administrativo dejó mucho que desear. Uno de nuestros compañeros de viaje sufrió un incidente dentro del hotel y, en lugar de mostrar empatía o colaboración, la administración intentó cobrarle por lo ocurrido. Esta actitud no refleja un compromiso genuino con el bienestar del huésped.
Creo que con mejoras en sus instalaciones y una gestión administrativa más humana y orientada al cliente, podrían elevar mucho la experiencia. Sin embargo, por ahora NO recomendaría este hotel en lo absoluto!!.

Cobros extras diferentes a los indicados aquí

Cobran mucho más de lo que dice en esta aplicación. A mis amigos y a mí nos tocó pagar casi el doble por ser colombianos, supuestamente. El parqueadero (que le pertenece al hotel aunque lo nieguen y se contradigan) tiene una tarifa increíblemente alta por hora y salió prácticamente por lo mismo que otra noche más en el hotel. Primera y última vez que utilizo esta aplicación.

Como para ir por una noche en plan de trabajo.

La habitación tiene lo básico, black out, cama cómoda, pequeña mesa con dos sillas, sitio para guardar ropa, acabados normalito, baño estrecha la ducha, si había agua caliente, el desayuno ok, 1 arepa, 1 tostada de pan, huevos revueltos, chocolate. La chica del comedor muy atenta, la chica del aseo muy honesta me devolvió una toalla que se me quedó. La chica de recepción normal.

En la pagina web ofertan la habitación con un valor pero al memento de pagar en el lugar se incrementa con costos no mencionados en el anuncio web, por lo tanto se incrementa el valor total de la estadia y su disculpa es que no ponen el IVA en la pagina porque los extranjeros estan exentos del impuesto, pero a los nacionales deberian hacerle esa aclaración desde la pagina web pues incurren en publicidad engañosa.

Regular Hotel - Se queda en el tiempo

Mala atención de su personal, falta de profesionalismo y cordialidad en sus colaboradores; el baño tenia fuga de agua y no evacuaba la isla en la ducha. Desayuno costoso muy costoso para lo que sirven como tal.

Las habitaciones son deficiente ventilación y tiene. aroma aguardado y/o viejo.

Mucho por mejorar.

Pesimo hotel, la habitacion super pequeña, la ventana daba a la bodega o alacena de la cocina no habia una cortina pesada solo un velo de manera que 0 privacidad, y la luz de esta bodega esta encendida constantemente y esta ilumina toda la habitacion, osea imposible dormir con la luz apagada, y el personal no tiene ni la delicadeza de apagarla aun cuando se les dijo. Las tomas de corriente viejas no es posible conectar aparatos no tiene parqueadero. Nada recomendable este hotel
